Store staff lacks knowledge unless you get their Commercial Accounts person. Staff is friendly but that isnt helpful when you need knowledge. Parts are about what you can expect, usually overpriced even though you would expect such a large chain to offer better prices based upon their ability to buy in bulk. Also, finding more and more often that they have to order the parts I need. While I expect this with my car as it is not as common in my area, but my F150 is prevalent and still have to order common items like drums, blower motors, wires, stuff I am able to get immediately at their competitors near by.
Completely horrible customer service. I was mocked for not knowing where the power steering fluid was located in the store and then they proceeded to laugh at me while I looked.

I bought a battery with a warranty on it. I brought it back because it wouldn’t start the car they said it was my alternator so I went and got the alternator changed and it’s still didn’t start. So much to say that it wasn’t the alternator! AutoZone just wanted me to buy a whole new battery
The store was large and clean, and could have been a nice experience, but the cashier was not friendly at all. Basically ignored me, barely even looked up from the cash register, and didnt say hi or anything. Maybe some people dont care about friendliness and just want to get in and get out, but I like to exchange a smile on the way.
Im giving a 5 because of Mike! He went over and above what he needed to do. He could have just sold me a battery but instead he contacted the place that had put in the battery and when he got nowhere with them, he found the owners phone number so I could call. He gave excellent customer service. He deserves recognition!
Even though there was 3 people standing at the counter they told me they were too short staffed to help with their advertised free battery replacement service. I am disabled and unable to carry or replace the battery on my own. Guess they just lost a customer for life. Oh and there is absolutely no way to call and make a complaint to a corporate number. It has you look up a regional office. Then the number they give you to the regional office is bad. It goes to a fax line.

We called ahead, confirmed they had what we needed, drove half an hour, just to find out they did not have it. Then instead of being apologetic, they were extremely rude about it. This is the perfect example of horrible customer service! I would NOT recommend this Autozone.

Stopped by for some simple generic UV dye, they didnt have it but upon diagnosing why I needed it, the sales rep lady walked out to my car, had me pop my hood and jumped right down I to my engine with her whole arm and let me know exactly what I needed, without cost, thats the kind of automotive service we need in this area.

Usually a good resource for my auto parts need but it seemed like pulling teeth to get someone at the register so that I could check out. I ended up finding the part number I needed as well while I waited for someone to come to the service counter. Usually its a decent experience here thus the 2 star rating. There was 1 other customer in the store when I arrived and at least 3 other employees who couldnt be bothered to help me with any part of my purchase. Thanks google!
Went in on Tuesday looking for a bolt was told they had to order it and it would be in on Wednesday. When I called to see if it was in they have no record of the order and now they say the bolt isnt even in their system. They had it on the screen on Tuesday. Im done with you people. Hire someone that knows what their doing and wants to help customers. Never mind the Im sorry reply its just a waste of time.

I have usually always had a great experience coming into this store. Today was not at all what I had hoped. I walked in and was ignored while two employees looked at me and continued talking. Finally when their conversation ended the one associate acknowledged me. When I told him my AC unit randomly stopped working he cut me off, without even asking what make/model my car was or anything, and told me I needed to recharge the AC unit and handed me what I “needed.” I don’t know if that’s actually what’s wrong with it and instead of offering to take a look at it for me or ask me questions, or just be polite, he failed to do so. I am hoping that he’s right and that’s actually what’s wrong, but he then told me to “YouTube” it. I am clearly NO car expert so to be told that just bothered me even more. Not happy with my experience here today.

Customer service in this AutoZone has steadily gone down hill. Ive been in this store twice in the past two weeks and both times Customer service was bad! If you want good service go down the street to Advanced or any of the other Surrounding Autozone. Id Give Mansfield AZ, my usual go to, 10 stars. Corning Autozone the employees are Rude and Lazy!
Not what it used to be. They have sold me the wrong parts on a few different occasions.
I stopped in to get ATF and was in a hurry. I found what I needed and got on line. There were 3 people on the line and 2 or 3 being waited on. One of the cashiers called to another employee, a rather large gentleman who was on his cell phone, who just rolled his eyes and did not move. After a 5-10 minuet wait I left. There is another Auto Parts store within view. I went over there and was in and out in less then 2 minuets. I am done with Auto Zone. Please skip the canned We are disapointed to hear reply, you need to actually do something.
Limited activity great customer service
These people drop everything to help. Have saved me thousands in repairs I didnt need. So I took my SUV to Goodyear for a slight shimmy. Was told that I needed ball joints replaced. Went to AutoZone to see about pricing. Guy literally crawled under the car and determined that the ball joints were as good as new. Another costly unnecessary repair avoided. Thanks guys!
Employees ignore customers constantly. Treat most people like they are an inconvenience. Personal calls shouldnt be answered while a line of customers wait.

I have HORRIBLE experience with this place. I hate leaving bad reviews too. Yeah, the people working there had a good personality. However, I have been there twice in an emergency situation. Once, my step dads car was getting really warm, we went there, they told us to try this type of oil that shouldnt burn as much, and have that smell. It had nothing to do with the oil, and it was an electrical issue.Second time was actually today, my dads jeep broke down. We went there to see what was wrong, they said it had nothing to do with the battery, or anything electrical. So the tow truck gets there, and what was it? The battery!Ill say never go here again, as of today.

Worst customer service ever. Went into the store and asked for a fuel pressure regulator the guy looked at me like I was from outer space and didnt know how to look it up on his computer after I drove an hour to go there. I also have been to the Elmira location where I asked for fuel line and the moron walks back to the counter holding steel brake line and copper tubing. Will never be returning to another AutoZone. Will take my business to Napa or Advance Auto

Ive had 2 experiences with autozone since living in Corning. The first was trying to buy a car starter for my fiancé for Christmas. The man working at the counter answered all my questions like I was stupid. They said they couldnt install it, but I was told I could bring it to any mechanic to get it installed. There wasnt any mechanic in the area that would install this thing, ended up having to return it and ruin a good gift.Then just the other day I called to inquire about whether they could change the battery in my cars remote. I got a vague answer from someone that obviously didnt want to be talking to me. Something like I dont know, some people will change them.. I asked him if that meant yes or no, and I got a sarcastic I guess not. . Ill be traveling out to Elmira for anything I need for my car from now on, not just because they couldnt help me, but because of how consistently rude and condescending they are in all of my interactions with them.
They have just about everything, and the kids working there are friendly and helpful.
