I recently purchased a large home and in the process of furnishing it, I was so happy to have found Midas Fabrics in Cornelius. I worked with both George and Angela in choosing fabrics for drapery panels for several rooms. While I had a good idea of what I was trying to achieve, the team at Midas was a tremendous help in narrowing the options, making suggestions that not only kept the cost in budget but also, to make sure that the end result was full of texture and interest.George came to the house, measured all of the windows, suggested hardware options and brought fabrics that we pulled earlier to ensure that everything worked well together. George personally installed the final product last week and I could not be happier with how everything came out.All of the draperies were beautifully made and the hardware is custom and excellent quality as well.I had considered buying from a local designer however, the quote was more than I was willing to spend. I then sourced all of the major high end retailers but everything looked the same. I am so glad that I used Midas instead. The final cost was not only less than the retailers, it was less than half of the designers quote and there is no way I would gotten the look I was going for any other way had I not found Midas.If you are looking to get a custom look at a great price and if you need assistance in final design, I would highly recommend Midas Fabrics. You wont be disappointed.

Midas Fabric, a local small business located in Cornelius, helped design and install beautiful cornices for our master bedroom. We chose a high-quality silk fabric that coordinated with and complemented our existing bedroom set which enhanced and finished the overall look of the room. Even my husband was impressed with the final product!

We cannot say enough about how pleased we are with Midas. We had a very challenging custom build and George and Vicky saved reg day. We looked at many other Fabric companies in Charlotte and no one else could match the quality and customer service. Our custom drapes, bench cushions, pillows, bed skirts and custom bedding always get compliments from guests. It was truly the icing on the cake in our home. We have formed a lasting relationship with Midas and will definitely use them again when we purchase our beach home. They are great to work with and provide very professional quality products.

Being new to Davidson I was looking for a window treatment/upholstery business located nearby. I visited a few before discovering Midas and knew as soon as I walked in that I was in the right place. No pressure by the owner George and there was no issue taking sample fabrics home. Vicky, his designer, was extremely helpful in my decision making for the fabric as well as the curtain rod design to go with. The window treatments turned out so great that I am having an ottoman re-apolstered with a complimentary fabric Vicky helped me choose. I will recommend Midas Fabric to my friends and family.

Vickie was so helpful (and patient) when we were selecting fabric to recover chairs that we loved, but no longer worked with the colors in our new home. They turned out beautifully! Great job- again!

This store reupholstered a sofa and chair for me. They did beautiful, truly professional work. I couldnt be happier. You may find cheaper solutions out there, but if you dont want to pay for it two or three times just get these folks and get it done right!
