Great job by a great team. Lets face it, Charlotte builders are super busy; and this generally means that when a hard job comes up, they will walk away. That wasnt my experience with Garage Doors & More of the Piedmont. Our one year old home is set in a park-like conservation area and that means that there are A LOT of trees! Gutter guards were an important enhancement for our home this year. I ran across GD&M in the Charlotte Observer and noticed their ad. When I called and asked if they do tough jobs, I received a pretty enthusiastic response. Shortly after that phone call, Bill came out to evaluate and estimate the job. Bills confidence in their product (Valor) and capability to reach those hard-to-reach places gave me the confidence that I had selected the right people to do this work. From the research I did, the Valor product has great reviews and Ive had a chance to see it in action the past few weeks on our house. I couldnt be more pleased with how well Valor captures the rain into the gutter system and keeps out the debris. The true test will come this Fall, but I am very confident that this was the right product from the right company. Thank you GD&M for your great work on this project!

The phone conversation Thursday night was quick with an accurate turnkey quote. Next day installation was available. The installer was professional, fast, and a great communicator. The system works great, is super quiet, and was easy to pair to my WiFi for access through Amazon Alexa. The remote keys and keypad work as expected. I am grateful for the new functionality and quality interaction. Presto is the best. I highly recommend their solutions.

I called for a repair as this is the company that originally installed my garage door (under their previous name). I was given a same day appointment; however, no one showed up. In the meantime I began receiving texts and emails attempting to sell me garage floor resurfacing. Calls to the office were unsuccessful in getting updates about the repair and I cancelled and called another company. I continue to get spam texts and emails confirming imaginary appointments or attempting to sell products. I have no idea what is going on with this company but I am very unimpressed.

Today I found out what & more means. I seriously always wondered when Id see their trucks on the road. With all the heavy rain we had issues with clogged downspouts. A friend of mine used Garage Doors and More in the past and they did great work at a great price. When my old rickety wooden garage doors spring broke over my head one day I gave them a call. I use my garage as both my personal office and man cave so I really wanted a insulated and well sealed door. I was able to order a custom door exactly the way I wanted and had it professionally installed at what I would consider a great price. Both the salesperson and installer were very professional and easy to work with. The installer was a champion working in the 93F degree heat and did a great job explaining the details on the new door and cleaning up after himself. Id highly recommend this company to anyone else who wants professional work at a great price and likes supporting local business.

We were literally able to do virtually everything over the phone, and e-mail. The garage door take down & installation process was straight forward, and they cleaned-up very well...even removing all of the old door panels & components.Our Salesperson, Nick was fantastic! This was an outstanding customer service. The sales rep was friendly and gave me exactly what I wanted with no pressure. The price was very fair and reasonable. My garage door arrived within 2 weeks and was installed in a few hours. The installer was also very friendly and double checked the order before he began. It only took him a couple of hours and he verified with me that the door worked to my satisfaction. He also cleaned up completely and hauled the old door away. I highly recommend this company.

Our garage door opener stopped working (having lived a long life), so it was fairly urgent to replace asap. We found Garage Doors & More via Google search being impressed by many recent, stellar reviews. We called right away and spoke to Mike who willingly helped us sharing a wealth of knowledge and options. We decided to go with the latest technology using wifi (and love it!). Garage Doors & More fit us in for the opener install asap and were very helpful with setting cars up, as well as wall station, etc. Their customer service and responsiveness is the best we’ve ever experienced! They were super supportive with all our questions and needs. Highly recommend this great team!

Terry not only was a very knowledgeable technician, but he is a great salesman. He took his time and figured out what was the best approach to take on my mothers garage door. Terry took his time researching the correct way that this difficult installation would go. Another thing which impressed us was his caring of us during this time. We had been experiencing some severe weather in our area and after his long day at work took his own time to check on our family. This is what makes a great and exceptional person and a person that his company should be proud of.

We had an issue with our garage door and found that many of our neighbors had used garage doors and more. Candis took the call and was very friendly, helpful, and she got us right on the schedule. Mike came out for the repair and he was on time, very friendly, and knowledgeable. He had just made the same repair we needed for the customer he saw before us so he didn’t have the part he needed, but he called Candis and got us rescheduled quickly. When he came back he got the job done quickly and installed a much better part than what was originally there. If I have any other garage issues I’ll call garage doors & more.

I needed a quick garage door replacement and they did not disappoint. Terry was excellent in providing a quick initial assessment and estimate. He was up front with everything involved and provided multiple realistic options for my situation. He was extremely easy to work with and got us scheduled very quickly for a door replacement. I hoped with the good ratings I had seen...that I would add to it with 5 starts. Sadly, this is not the case.I was made to believe I needed a new garage door by Bill the salesman. He made it seem the springs of my existing door were too tight and could come apart at any moment sending shrapnel into the drywall and break windows.Once the installer came out to out a new door in, I could see that the main issue with my existing door was the cable was loose. It could have been easily repaired for a lot less money. When I called the office about it, I was told the owner Mike might call me back after he gets back from lunch.Is that how you treat customers???Long story short...the customer service was terrible and the salesman was dishonest and even asked me very personal questions such as my age, and if I live alone. He even wanted to know how much I paid for my truck...none of which has anything to do with buying a garage door!Please, please go somewhere else if you are not sure weather you need repairs or something brand new.The installation however was done great. The installer was professional and knew what he was doing.

Terry was professional and personable. We need more people like him in this world. Showed up on time, introduced himself, explained clearly the replacement parts and process, executed the job quickly and demonstrated fix/completed job. He used please and thank you which goes a long way in my book for today’s society. Awesome!!!

Technician fixed the spring bracket and explained the need and procedure to grease the springs and the tracks. Repair was quick and thorough. GD&M had installed the garage door a little more than a year ago. Not sure why the bracket pulled out of the wall so their install team might not get five stars but the repair tech was top notch.

It was a cold, snowy, day when Brian arrived to install my garage door, he introduced himself and began to remove our old door. I was impressed with his knowledge of what to do and how to do it. My opinion, he did a great job, cleaned up the leftover materials, loaded up his truck, shook hands and said call us if you have any troubles. Good job Brian.

Mike and Ric were great to work with on getting our garage door insulated. Ric did a great job cutting & installing the insulation. He really knows what he is doing!

With all good reviews I thought of giving them a try on sensor issue with my garage door. I spoken with Candice and was very nice and clearly stated all charges about service charge + parts. I specifically asked other charges and was told that’s it. Now the person came out and told the same but the office called and told me to pay $159 more - it’s almost $265 to change sensor that cost $32. THIS COMPANY LIVES BY LIES, DISHONEST, UNETHICAL AND THE PERSON I SPOKE IN THE AFTERNOON WAS THE RUDEST PERSON IN THE TOWN. I’ll be reporting to BBB and FTC and the town about how rude she’s treating customers like me and also how dishonest their service.

I cannot recommend this company and their representative enough. Terry showed up on time, offered competively priced soltions to my garage door issue. The appointment was easy to set up. Mike the technician arrived on time and did a thorough review of all of the garage door systems. He made a recommendation that we replace the engine as it appeared to be very old and worn out. We set up a new appointment to install the new equipment. He came the next work day as scheduled to install the new system. It works great. We are completely satisfied with this whole experience.

This company is a total joke. They harrassed me through email, text and phone so I would set up an appointment to do an estimate for a job after I put in a search on Angies List. Since they insisted so much, I decided to set the appointment. The day of the appointment they call me 10 mins before and say they cant come until an hour later. An hour later they never showed up. What a waste of time!!!

They are really good people to work with. The office staff were friendly and helpful. The Service Tech who came to my home for an installation project was knowledgeable, and professional. He did an outstanding job for our home. I would recommend their work to anyone.

Would have gave a zero if I could have, not the customer service that I was expecting. I scheduled an online appointment from an ad in the newspaper. I got 2 confirmations of the appointment by e-mail. The day of the appointment, 3 minutes prior, I receive a phone call that Im not in their service area. I would have expected this call with more lead time. With only a 3 minute window there was obviously no one on the way. Do you think that someone should have known before 3 minutes before they are suppose to arrive? I get the service area thing but what I didnt understand was how nasty and rude the the person was that called. You schedule an appointment, wait on your only day off and then treated in a manner that is totally unprofessional. Incredible.Update, I recently went to a home show in Charlotte and was still looking for a garage door. The associate manning the booth asked me to check out what they had to offer. I politely said that I had already looked into his company and that I was not located in his service area. He proceeded to ask me where I lived and said he would get me an estimate and assured me of great service. I can tell you he followed through with all that he promised. The service tech that showed up was a younger man, very polite and professional. He went about his job, finished cleaned up and then explained everything to my satisfaction and was gone. I ordered a garage door and it came scratched. It was “repaired” with paint. I was concerned about rusting and a new door was supposed to be ordered. That was 5 months ago. Was told a new door was on the way and have not heard from anyone in a month. Also the key pad is not working and it is brand new. Bad customer service.

Recently had a new garage door installed by Garage Doors and More of the Piedmont. To say that I am pleased would be a huge understatement. From my first contact with the office staff to the actual installation of my new door it has been delightful experience. The office staff have always been very personable and extremely accommodating .Its always a pleasure to talk with them. The Technicians who did the installation were professionals. They arrived on schedule, did there installation in a efficient and thorough manner and did an excellent job cleaning up after themselves. I will use this Company for all my future garage door needs. There was a sticker with Garage Doors & Mores contact info on the wall in our garage so I gave the phone number a call when our garage door broke. The woman that answered the phone was very pleasant. She was able to schedule a site visit the same day and luckily we were able to have the repair completed at the same time. Our technician, Terry, was super helpful. He was very kind and took the time to explain everything to me. He gave us a few options for the repair (fix the old stuff or switch out for new stuff) and was transparent about pricing. He kept me updated as he completed the work. Everything is working great. I highly recommend Garage Doors & More of the Piedmont.

Old opener finally gave out and my friend recommend calling this company for service. No service charge, the technician came on time, and was very efficient. They installed a new belt opener on both of my garage doors as it was only matter of time before the other one gave out. Fair priced compared to what I saw at Lowes and Home Depot. Door opener works perfect and is really quiet compared to my old openers. Very happy with price and quality of the job.

MY service call was scheduled promptly. Upon arriving, Terry quickly assessed the problem and explained the repairs necessary along with a cost estimate. Due to the fairly high repair cost, Terry shared with me the options of a full garage door replacement with or without a new opener. Terry was able to answer all my questions and was very professional. I opted for a full replacement which was done two days later. New door is working very well. I wouldnt hesitate to use Garage Doors & More again, if needed.

I highly recommend this company. They promptly sent Jamie to install a new spring on my garage door. Both of my vehicles were in the garage when the spring broke. This is the 4th spring that I’ve had replaced in the last 25 years. Jamie was by far the most knowledgeable & efficient repairman that I’ve encountered. Fast and fair! Our broken garage door spring was repaired that same afternoon. Terry of Garage Doors & More of the Piedmont was courteous, friendly and professional. He also was more than willing to give us different options and advice on our garage door. A pleasure to do business with; highly recommended....

After reading the reviews from other installations I couldnt believe I dealt with the same company. My experience with Garage Doors and More has been less than wonderful. Price quoted by salesman was not accepted by his boss (old bait and switch, right?). We arrived at a new higher price. I had to pay 50% right then to get door ordered. Then I found out door was special order and would require 4-6 weeks to deliver. When door arrived at warehouse installation was scheduled. Installer arrived 2 1/2 hours late but did install door. Two of door panels did not fit correctly and had to be re-ordered. Wait time was only 3 weeks. Re-installation took 45 min. to 1 hr. longer than necessary because installer had to leave and buy a new drill to finish installation. This company runs its installers over a very large area. Appointment times are not realistic because of area covered. Apparently Garage Doors and More is just a sub-contractor and dont have any supplies on hand. Even a spray can of white paint had to be ordered to cover a scratch. The Amarr door fits much better than my old door, is quieter in operation but is much heavier than old door.

The quote was lower than a competitor that I had heard was the most reasonable one. The doors and features we were able to choose from were amazing. The company was very professional from start to finish. The door installer was courteous and knowledgeable. Our house looks totally different with the new door and I couldnt be more pleased.

Nicholas Jones came out & explained everything I needed to know. He answered all my questions and was very polite & professional.

We were very impressed with the friendliness of the lady who spoke with us over the phone. She discussed pricing and was able to send someone out that afternoon. We were worried about not having our garage door to close that evening. The garage door was fixed within minutes and was in better working condition before I accidentally ran into it and bent it. The representative was very knowledgable and friendly. We in no way felt we were paying too much or being charged for unnecessary charges. I will continue to recommend and use Garage Doors and More for any future issues.

The experience I had with this company was one of the worst I have ever had. It started great and then quickly went downhill. First of all, it took over 3 months to complete the task of getting a new garage door and only because we had to keep calling. These people dont respond to emails or calls unless you threaten them. They put the wrong windows in (arriving much later with no call) and then took FOREVER to get the correct ones. They finally got the right ones and put them in backwards. The amount of time wasted trying to change our schedule and aggravation demanded somewhat of a refund. The owner agreed and then I never heard a thing. I had to threaten again and the amount she sent me was a joke. The lack of communication is their biggest problem. I wanted to write this review to prevent others from having another terrible experience.

Garage Doors & More did a fantastic job on my new garage door! Jeanne our Sales Rep was very educational and made sure to thoroughly go through everything with us. Nick & our installer Cris were also great to work with. Exceptional customer service, and great prices - you cant go wrong. Id recommend them to anyone!

My experience with Garage Doors and More is that they showed up on time, introduced themselves and was able to tell me what was wrong. Terry did not have the springs in his truck to repair my garage door but he gave me an estimate of cost and when I could expect the work to be done. I’m very happy with their service and would highly recommend them.

Very knowledgeable on garage door configuration and brands. Warned me of inferior product that were slightly cheaper. I fact checked the sales rep and it checked out not to mention she was smoking hot!:)and the install went great with a very professional guy I think his name was Ricky Walker Texas ranger. Door looks magnificent .seems like a great company.

Sales rep was knowledgeable and did not try to sell me a more expensive gutter protection system than I needed for my application. Installation was completed professionally and quickly, with very little mess around the house from cleaning out very clogged gutters before capping. Waiting on the first hard rain to really test them out.

This was an outstanding experience for me as a homeowner. I had a garage door issue and needed service, not immediately but I did need it in a timely basis. I had issues on a Monday and on Wednesday they showed up. They told me exactly who to expect and when he would show up. Jamie showed up early, worked efficiently and even told me what he was doing as he did it. I got a great education on garage doors as he explained what my real issue was and he set to fixing it immediately. He even gave me pointers on maintenance so I could avoid any future issues. He even fixed issues that had been bugging me for years. This is a local company that does honest work for a very reasonable price. I will be calling them in the future and suggesting them to anyone else who has issues.

What a great company! Went above and beyond after hours, no less. Fixed a 14 year old door and now it works like new. Would definitely use this company again. Truly a great experience.

I had an emergency when my garage lifting gear suddenly broke at 3 pm last Wed afternoon. I grabbed my home magazine, found this company and called. The had a tech and his assistant out by 6 that day, explained the problem and the fix. I decided to upgrade my system, they gave me a price break and some upgraded perks for combining two components. They were clean, neat, did the 1st part of the repair immediately, showed up early for the second part of the work to be done. I would recommend them with no reservations.

The sale went smoothly and staff was knowledgeable. They even came came out of their way. The installers were good guys that do quality work and care about their workmanship. They also clean up well after they leave. The opener Got is the quietest I have ever had. I would recommend them for a fresh install. I have never serviced with them before.

This is our 1st time using Garage Doors & More of the Piedmont and I was thoroughly pleased. The person scheduling the repairman to come out was extremely friendly...even concerned that we may have a car stuck in the garage as a result of the spring breaking. Terry (repairman) was professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. He made sure to explain the problem & offer various solutions based on cost. I will definitely use them again.
