We ordered for the first time through DoorDash and were thoroughly impressed. My husband ordered the orange chicken and said it’s the best he’s had since moving here to NC. I ordered the lunch portion chicken hibachi and it was very good and large portion. I would definitely order from here again.

First and last time eating here - we ordered takeout on 10-30-21One of us got the Bang Bang Shrimp Bento Box ($18) w/ fried rice & spicy tuna rolls & egg roll.The other got a Sweet & Sour Chicken Dinner w/ fried rice and egg roll ($13)They gave us 5 shrimp which was really disappointing for $18. The egg rolls were bland and tasteless. One of us got white rice (not what we asked for) and the other got fried but it wasnt actually fried...it was just white rice with peas and carrot and egg. The tuna rolls were missing a drizzle otherwise they were good enough. The sweet and sour chicken was good enough as well.Definitely not impressed. We know these are very basic orders so why arent they perfected? Go to Asian Cafe in Kannapolis instead - they NAIL flavor every time.

Tried this 3 years ago and was disappointed with the service and attitude, food was decent, can’t complain about quality much but this time my husband had the similar experience, lady was super rude and mixed up the order and we knew complaining won’t do anything. There are better hibachi and Japanese food in and around huntersville., whose customer service and food both are excellent.

We extremely happy to find Osaka Sushi & Chinese. The quality of the fish definitely higher than other places in the area. Food is great and delicious. Staff is friendly and great on the service.

Bang Bang Shrimp in the Bento Box is off the hook! Also, some of the best sushi in Huntersville imo. Little pricey, but good food usually is. I usually get a bento box. It has an entree, choice of sushi, rice and noodles. Delicious 😋

This is one of my favourite sushi restaurants in the area. I love the variety of rolls they have and the quality is excellent. Great food and great service.

I have visited this restaurant since it opened, food has always been good and the service was okay. However, in the past year the size of the rolls have shrunk and the quality of the sushi has declined. Last night we got takeout, for two rolls and two wonton soups it was 40 bucks. The rolls were small and very little fish on them. I forgot to ask for spicy mayo when I ordered, so I had to go back in to get some. When I asked for it the waitress said that will be $3.00 I was like what and she said it again 3 dollars. I was like Ive never paid for spicy mayo and she said it free if you dine in but for take out you have to pay for it. I didnt get and left. When I got home and pulled my sushi out there was very little ginger and almost no wasabi. This is my last trip to the restaurant. Beware and check your order before you leave.

This place is just OK. Is definitely overpriced for what you get. My husband ordered 3 different fish rolls and all where very average. The service is poor. The owner and the staff seem to always be having a bad day.Is not a good place for vegetarian or vegans.There are better sushi places in Huntersville, and a few are just minutes away.

Just ordered from here for the first time and it was so delicious. I got the general TSO chicken and the pan fried pork dumplings and they were so good. This will be my new go-to place for Chinese food in the area.

Got take out from grub hub. Had a chirashi bowl with soup and ginger dressing salad. Soup and salad were good. Chirashi bowl was par. Had good tuna, salmon, and tilapia, but nothing special at a $25 price tag.Wait was a bit long with no waiting seating section.

The food was good however we placed our order online and they seemed to have lost it. I had to wait outside for over one hour waiting for my food! And I received no apology or discount on the order. I will give them another try but wait until it is warmer outside

Bought $150 worth of food for take out and asked for a couple of ice waters in to-go cups while we waited for our food to finish cooking. I was told they only have bottle water and that I would have to purchase them although customers were sitting down eating with glasses of ice water at their table. Poor customer service in my opinion.

Ordered over the phone, they said 30 minutes. I showed up after 25 minutes. Waited outside for 10 minutes and had multiple people walk right by me and crowd into the lobby, acting like their order was more important. I tried staying out of the way, but people kept packing in. Extremely dangerous COVID risk. I stood there for another 45 minutes and finally gave up after hearing others say they’ve been waiting over an hour and were told their order hadn’t even been made yet. I get that it’s a smaller restaurant, but there were plenty of employees. Nobody was communicating how to check on orders. Nobody seemed to care about the wait. I called and canceled my order, just to get an “ok” from the guy who picked up. I gave this place a second chance after a precious pick-up order that took quite a long time, but now I’m done.Don’t order from this place if you want to eat within a 2 hour time frame. It won’t happen.

First time going tonight to check their food and place for possibly using their catering service. Fortunately, it was a pleasant experience overall. Food was good. Our server was equally good considering shes new according to her, but she waited on us like a pro! Manager, Jojo was very friendly and checked on guest frequent enough to make them feel well-served. Were definitely coming back and using their service for an upcoming event. Their location is kind of tucked inside Kenton place but worth finding!

Literally packed and customers wearing no masks. Cancelled a postmates pickup because of this place. Will never return.

Paid $67 online. I then called because I wanted to change my eggroll to a springroll because of the pork. She said .50 cents more. I said what?? She said I could pay the .50 cents now. I couldn’t believe it. That’s how not to get a returning customer. When food arrived the General Tso breading was sloshing off. Very disappointing. The sushi was chewy. The portions are very small for what you pay. Typical take out Chinese is better then this. House of Taipei down the road is much better.

Best sushi anywhere around! Ive been coming here for nearly 20 years and they always have me coming back for more. Never had a bad plate of sushi here... Love Boat is huge and the sashimi cuts are nice and thick. Tuna is never fatty and salmon is fresh. If youre in the mood for something more than just a Cali roll, visit here!

You should enforce masks & social distancing at your front door. Customers closely congregate at the entrance to wait for food to be brought out. We saw ONLY ONE CUSTOMER OUT OF APPROX. 12 CUSTOMERS WEARING A MASK!!!! They were NOT standing 6 feet apart!! COVID-19 deaths in USA are currently over 80K!!! Why arent people WEARING MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING???!!! Food was pretty good afelter 1 hour wait,, and you have no way of knowing when food ready without standing close to these UN-MASKED CUSTOMERS due to no curbside pickup.

Found a roach in my food and they refused to give me a refund for my full order. I had to threaten to call the police in order to get a refund.

Ate here last week. Ordered two hibachi chicken meals that came with soup and salad. The soup and salad were great, when the meals came out the chicken was mushy, almost like it sat on the grill for to long. We told the waiter who went and told the manager. She stated that since we ate the vegetables that she would not refund us for the meals. We did not eat the chicken or rice. I finally got her to allow me to only pay for one meal. Absolutely horrible experience. Terrible customer service. Oh and cant leave this part out... after we told the manager about the chicken she told us that it was just tender... oh and that she tried a piece of my chicken... when I clearly watched her not take a bite.

Some of the best Asian food in the north end of Mecklenburg county. The bento box is a great variety pack. The spicy mustard is great but potent!

Every time I go visit my parents in Charlotte, I make them take me to Osaka (we even spent last Christmas there). Such yummy Asian cuisine. My favorite is the sweet and sour chicken and orange chicken. Their sushi is also pretty delicious. And, be sure to take a sake bomb.

Osaka has very good sushi and worth visiting to try. The environment is personable and quiet. The staff was very friendly although our waiter had a penchant of touching my little girls cheeks. I know she cute, but dont go there. My point is that Osaka is kid friendly. My wife and I enjoyed all of our food and cannot complain about anything. Give it a try and you will be happy.

My family for light dinner enjoys Cal Rolls and steamed pork dumplings. Doing good job with call in pull up, call and pick up at door.

I was disappointed. I ordered a Philly Role and Sesame Shrimp. The sushi was awful - the rice was hard and I couldnt chew the seaweed because it was so chewy and rubbery. The shrimp on the sesame shrimp were extremely huge and not deveined (and the sauce didnt taste that good). Just my experience..but I definitely will not be going back.

Osaka is a bright and open restaurant with exceptional cuisine and very helpful staff. I would encourage giving it a try the next time you are looking for Japanese. I am looking forward to my next visit to explore the menu further.

Great quality Chinese food for the money. My order is always ready promptly after I place it. It is hard to find Chinese places that do not over do the flavor with MSG. Highly recommend these guys.

Osaka is one of my favorite places to dine. Quaint and quiet atmosphere. The staff is always really friendly. The food is always delicious and the portions are large.

Will definitely be going back to Osaka again and again! My boyfriend and I just got back and we really enjoyed it. We had the tempura calamari as an appetizer and it was excellent... as well as the sauce that came along side of it. I liked the atmosphere a lot too. It was dark and quite and there werent a bunch of tables crammed on top of each other. Our server did everything right and the remainder of the staff was very friendly. I also liked the fact that they are open so late every night. We had a few sushi rolls and they were all great. They were loaded up with large portions of ingredients. You definitely get your moneys worth here and the prices are reasonable.I read a lot of reviews on here for different places. Sometimes I think the reviews people write are too good... so good that I feel like an employee may have written them. But here I am, not employed by Osaka ; ) and I really enjoyed EVERYTHING about this place.

I ordered steamed shrimp with three specific vegetables and white sauce on the side. Our server came back to ask, again, what I wanted. Five of our party of six got there meals served at once. By the time mine came out, everyone was half way through and my meal was not what I ordered. Because I didnt want to wait until it was made right, I told him to take it back and take it off our check. It was uncomfortable for the rest of the table that I did not have a meal, and it would have been just as bad if I were holding everyone up eating late. The disappointment continued when no one from management came back to apologize or, perhaps, offer to take off the cost of the small $5.50 seaweed salad I shared with my husband. As we left, I thought perhaps the manager wasnt aware of what happened so I explained it to her and all she could say was, I very sorry. Its a shame as their food is good, but at 8 oclock on a Saturday night, the restaurant was pretty empty. I hope this will help the owner resize this is how you can lose a business. Doubt well ever go back.

I only gave 2stars because the spring roll was really good. However, they have started thinning out their spicy mayo for the sushi. Its almost the consistency of water. Lastly, my sushi was rolled so loosely that every single piece fell apart when picking it up to eat it.

Quiet little Japanese and Chinese place. Has a friendly feeling, and good food at reasonable prices. I had to steam veggies, vegetable roll, and both were very good.

Best Sushi on Lake Norman and very affordable. The location is a little tucked away and service is spotty but the sushi is as good as it gets. Tuna and Salmon Lovers rolls are outstanding.

This place has really great salmon sashimi. I have only tried the love boat and it is so delicious. They give a lot of food for a great price.

Best squid salad! Love the sushi, it is all that we go there for. It is our favorite! Do try the FM Roll with the filet mignon...to die for! Husband usually gets Crazy Salmon roll and we always try a new roll if available. The staff is always friendly and service is always great!

I ordered rice noodles with veggies and asked for no animal products to be used (as it messes up my stomach big time) I mentioned no animal products several times throughout the ordering process and the waiter nodded. I figured I was good. My friend ordered sushi but asked for no tuna to be on top of her. She repeated no tuna twice and the waiter came back out and asked her again what kind of tuna she wanted. She said again, I do not want tuna, please leave it off. Our food came, her had tuna in it and mine was full of scrambled egg. I explained I couldnt eat it, can they please remake it? I understand the waiter had a hard time understanding us, hey, language barriers can be hard. I get that, no big deal, they can remake it....but I ended up I waited 30 minutes for my food. I caught the waiters attention, he smiled sheepishly and shook his head no. At this point I finally asked them to just cancel my order, we had already been there for an hour and my friend was done with her food. 1 minute later my food came out. No apologies for the crazy wait for just boiled rice noodles and steamed veggies, no sauce and flavoring like the dish before. Fine, ok, I am starving at the point so I eat. My friend decided to order strawberry ice cream so I wouldnt feel rushed to eat. They were out, so the waiter brought out 4 store bought boxes of ice cream so she could pick her flavor. Everyone knows restaurants use store-bought food but it actually bring the boxes out and have her pick one? Finally, our to go orders came it for our families back home, at least those turned out right. UPDATE- my friends take home food was awful. The broccoli wasnt cooked at all and there was no flavor. I opted not to take my tasteless noodles home and the waiter rolls his eyes at me. That was the cherry on top. Needless to say, I wont be back I will stick to Phoenix up in Mooresville.

Over priced yuppie wanna be see kind of place. Food was no better than Panda Express, service was mediocre. Your paying for nice decor but with TVs on the wall like a sports bar. Seriously? Not worth the trouble or the parking hassle.
