We had a great experience with my children here and will definitely go back. The doctor took her time with us and made the kids feel at ease. She even showed the kids the pictures of the insides of their eyes, which they loved! There was absolutely no pressure at all to buy the glasses in house. COVID-19 protocol was excellent.
OMG worst follow up I have ever experienced. My prescription sunglasses have been wrong twice and I still don’t have what I pray will be the correct version. More excuses and its never their issue they just blame the ‘lab’
My 12 year old daughter and I both had eye appointments at the Cornelius office. My daughter is very timid when going to the eye doctor, but they were wonderful here and made her very comfortable. When it came time to pick out our glasses, Amy was so patient and helpful, especially with my daughter who just could not decide what she wanted. We are so happy with Amy and My Eye Doctor, that when she left the Cornelius office and went to the Arrowood office, we followed her. Definitely recommend My Eye Doctor.
Going to see an eye Dr. during Covid-19 was a bit nerve wracking, but the office did an incredible job of managing their patients in a very safe way and still being personable. Every person I dealt with was professional, easy, thorough, personable, and quick. Ill definitely be back. Dont hesitate to schedule an appointment.
I had the most amazing experience here. They took such precaution amongst this Covid thing and I felt like a VIP guest! Jordana especially was absolutely incredible. We developed an immediate rapport and she made me excited about my glasses purchase and saved me a load of money. I cant wait to come back for more glasses. Everyone should come here
Dr. Sweeney was terrific. She was professional, knowledgeable, and spent the time to answer my questions regarding my eye care. I highly recommend her!

Really loved the doctor I saw today, but the lady who tried to sell me glasses/contacts was awful! She tried to push me into purchasing an annual supply of contacts - without giving me the proper information so I could make a decision and she also told me I would lose my materials benefit if I did not make a purchase at that time, as someone who has worked in healthcare I did not appreciate her trying to sell me on anything so I politely drop without purchasing anything. Good place for exam but go elsewhere to make any materials purchases!
Outstanding service from a very attentive and patient staff. I had a couple of separate issues with my eyeglasses, and couldnt be more pleased with how they were handled. Everyone there deserves recognition, and Jake was particularly helpful to me. Highly Recommended!
Personal and committed customer serviceI have been going to this team for several years and I find that they walk the talk when it comes to customer service. A recent eyeglass purchase resulted in delays at the lab which were out of their control. They kept me informed as to the issues and timing. And when they arrived, and I informed them of my displeasure with their outside lab vendor, they did not hesitate to offer me a reasonable discount for my extra time, delays, and trouble. Thats all I needed. Just a little acknowledgement. Well done! And they were great with my kids on their first visit as well. They explained everything and made them feel absolutely comfortable with the entire visit. Great job from the front office to the back office.
Im in town taking care of my daughter and lense just fell out of my glasses. I contacted my doctor back in Ohio and they suggested I try a chain but I found this location close so I walked in. They fixed me right up, no charge.Very pleasant, felt like home. Thank you!!

Beyond disappointed with this place. Working in healthcare, I understand that insurances can be complicated and call must be made beforehand to ensure coverage, and I stress to wherever office I go to please double check what is and is not covered and explain in full to prevent future bills. The administrative team claimed that everything was covered, but I still had a bill two months after my appointment. Their excuse on the phone when confronted was, insurance sucks. No, insurance does not always suck.They failed to mention that my prescription was not written in a way that my contact fitting would be covered by my insurance. They have the worst patient education I have ever experienced when it comes to making a sound financial decision. Highly do not recommend unless you want to be left in the dark and have a surprise bill further down the road.
We moved from another state where we had the same eye dr for 10 years. I was worried about finding the a new one--the right one to care for me 16 year-old daughter. The receptionist greeted us warmly and Dr. Friedman was witty and knowledgable. My 16 year-old loved him instantly. He knew exactly what would help her most recent eye problem. And when she was about to run out of contacts, Joy searched their network to find us temporary contacts at no extra charge! When our insurance presented a problem, the staff patiently dealt with it, reassuring us they whole time that they would figure it out. Free coffee and creamer in the waiting room made us feel at home. I cant believe we found them right down the road from our new home. Best experience I could have imagined with a beautiful office and caring staff.
Im so sorry but in all my years of getting an eye exam I have never experienced the pain, discomfort and concern I now have with my vision and future eye health. Dr Friedmans piercingly bright light he used after dialating my eyes has my vision now strained and burning as I function doibg daily tasks that did not bother me prior to the eye exam. Even after the Dr. pronounced me with a good bill of health. God only knows why and I can assure you I will never visit a MyEye Dr. ever again.
