Our last visit was 10/28/21.The representative, Alan, was great to work with and even handled my intensity over the phone very well. However, when my wife picked up the vehicle, nothing had been done to fix the issue or even check it other than to recommend an expensive procedure that you can do yourself for much less.I would have been satisfied if the service department had told me that they had checked A, B and C and everything looks good so they recommend D. This was not even considered!The inside of the vehicle smelled of gasoline and it had not been even run through the car wash which is one of the sales points. (Free car wash for life!)Very disappointed with the quality of service!
Very friendly staff - with everything going on out here - you get a bit nervous about going into public places. Not here....its very clean and enough space to relax and feel comfortable. Also - they do a great job with explaining to you what your issues are with the car and give you different options to try to best fit your budget. They dont try to scam like other places.

“ Excellent Service ”My experience purchasing a car from Lake Norman Hyundai was excellent. I worked with Shawn through the entire purchase. He was fast to answer all my questions and helped out as much as he could. I was a little skeptical at first because I didn’t have any credit established Shawn made the car purchase easy by offering a complete view around the car via FaceTime and that he would get me in a car same day and he did just that. This was my 2nd service appointment, the 1st was at 7500 miles and went well. This one was for a 15,000 mile service. I scheduled online and requested that 15K service. Since I have complimentary basic service, it should include the oil change and tire rotation at no charge. This must have confused them as no where on the service receipt do I see anything about them performing anything other than the oil change, tire rotation and their recommended alignment. Responsive of the staff was very slow and there was confusion between the cashier desk and service department. To top it off, they did not even wash the car which was requested. I am wondering if it is worth going back there for my next service appointment, even if it is complimentary. Very disappointed! Would have given 0 stars but would not allow me to post without selecting at least 1.
Those guys were great. New to area & not use to dealership being so nice & accommodating. Clean waiting room. Will definitely go back when lease is up in August next year.

4 months prior I had a terrible experience buying a vehicle from another local dealership. The salesman was good but the manager and finance people were terrible. Then my wifes car decides it wants to have issues so we test drove a Palisade. The wife loved it. All the way from the salesman to signing the paperwork it was an excellent and easy transaction. The only hiccups came from our lender getting paperwork emailed to the dealership. Our salesman even recognized my mother-in-law a few days later at a restaurant and said hello, after only seeing her for a short time the day we were there. I would definitely go here again in the future.

Went to Lake Norman Hyundai to buy my first car, was an amazing experience. Big John was an awesome sales person and got me through the entire finance process within hours. From finding the right car to match my budget and getting the papers signed was a process made easy by Big John.
Took a trip out there to look at vehicles because of the sizeable inventory they showed online. Got there to find out they didnt have but a small fraction of it. They played the typical salesman games. Wanted to push vehicles I wasnt interested in for a price I didnt want to spend even if I had been interested. Still waiting to get my license back from them. Luckily, I found another dealer who did what this one said they couldnt and I was able to purchase what I wanted for a reasonable price.
By far the best dealership Ive ever worked with they were honest on-time hard-working and paid incredible attention to detail I went in for something simple they told me that there was a factory recall on a part changed it while I waited front and back brakes front left wheel bearing took care of me like I was family did not rip me off and now Im actually going to buy a car from them for my daughter who turns 18 today thats how good of an impression they left on me no kidding take your car here youll be thankful and I was very grateful keep up the good work

Met “Orlando” who said he was a Sales Manager.Told him there was an ongoing and still unresolved automobile issue.He referred me to call and ask for Jason in the service department.Jason quickly scheduled an appointment time for the car to be thoroughly assessed by their mechanic, Kevin.Kevin and Jason worked as a team to get the ball rolling for the annoying and long standing issue two previous dealerships would not properly address for this all to finally end.They walked us through the steps they were taking for resolution as well as gave us a number to be able to text Jason to enhance our methods of communication.Their commitment of providing outstanding customer service and exemplifying a genuine concern of “being heard” was extremely high from the beginning of our exchange until the very end.I also noticed a sign in their service department regarding star satisfaction which included an email and phone number to use if not completely satisfied. That spoke volumes for me!!I am giving them 4 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 only until the needed repair has been approved and finally completed ✅ to our satisfaction!At that point I will come back and fairly update this review.I look forward to adding another star and giving this service team their deserving 5 stars!
This was by far the BEST experience at a car dealership I’ve ever had! They listened to everything we were looking for, and were not pushy at all. They felt like a caring family who wanted us to be happy and get exactly what we wanted! We went to just test drive and ended up purchasing, not because we felt pressured, but because it felt right! We will be customers for life! And bonus, we definitely enjoyed the free coffee from the Starbucks machine while we were waiting on all the paperwork. Buying my first car here was a great experience! It was a no “bs” experience! No one was just trying to get me to buy whatever they could. Everyone was very professional and helpful, and more than that I didn’t feel pressured to buy from there. No one rushed me to make a decision or made any “one day only” pitches to ensure that they sold a car that day. Everyone seemed like they genuinely cared about me understanding all my options and really wanted me to find the perfect car for my budget! Tonya was INCREDIBLE!! She was so kind, personable, and professional. She’s the main reason I ended up buying from here cause she was so incredibly helpful and I could really tell she cared about my success in the process! Last visit involved an engine coil replacement and software update to my 17 Elantra.Though I had experienced the check engine light come on sporadically over 2 weeks, there were not any codes when inspected nor exhibiting engine performance degradation like I experiencedAlan told me to swing by the next time it happens, no matter if the day is busy. Sure enough, 2 nights later the car exhibits the issues. Took the car in the next afternoon and it was repaired without issue.Lake Norman Hyundai service department is a cut above the rest!!!

So I had a huge problem this weekend. I wont get into all the specifics on here, but I really needed some help. Cam, the owner of Lake Norman Hyundai, is going above and beyond to help with my car issue. I cant thank him enough. Im getting things handled Monday (tomorrow) and will briefly follow up on here. Cam personally gave me his cell number, the day before Easter, to make sure I get helped properly on Monday. What more could you ask for? Had a fantastic experience with Lake Norman Hyundai. I found the car I wanted on cars.com and called the dealership. Jeremy told me that it it was still in transport and wasn’t at the dealer yet but he would keep me updated. Later the day he called me and said it had been unloaded. By the time I got there, they had been doing the final checks to the car and it was ready for me to buy it. I really appreciate how hard they worked for me to be able to get the car that day. I echo the other commenters who said that it was a very low pressure environment. Even though I was very motivated to buy, the price was great and comparative to multiple dealerships throughout NC (I have been shopping around for this particular model for a while). They are a high volume dealer and have a lot of inventory. Overall, highly recommend.
I was on vacation in Winston, Salem NC. I went to Lake Norman for a couple of days.On the way there my car started losing power an I was so frighten being on the highway. We came upon a small roadside car repair shop. They told me my engine was shot. I immediately looked up a Hyundai Dealership. We found Lake Norman. Mr. Bobby Dills was wonderful!!!!!!!!!! God Bless him.

Really poor experience unfortunately.I called Early July about a vehicle posted on their website. I was told it was in a loaner status, and advised to put a deposit on it and send a credit app in for it. A deposit was placed, and my credit app sent but advised not to run because they’re only good for 30 days but they don’t know when the car will be ready.Over the next roughly three weeks I would be given different dates to expect updates, which were never provided unless I would specifically ask for them. I chased info on the car the entire time. When I said I would like my money back to try and shop elsewhere, I was told that the car would be available the next day and advised I would receive a price sheet on it including a trade in I had.I received a call the next day saying that the car was going to be almost two thousand dollars more than the original price sheet I was sent, and told by the sales manager that the price given originally was incorrect. I’ve wasted three weeks trying to buy a car and trade one in, and was given incorrect information. Would not recommend in the slightest.
My experience at LNH was top notch all around. Jeremy was extremely responsive to all of my questions while never being trying to upswell me or being pushy. I wanted a vehicle in a certain color and he went out of his way to find it and had it delivered to Lake Norman. He also made the paperwork process very easy for me. He had everything laid out and ready before I even came in. Jordan in the finance department was also very easy to deal with and didn’t try to sell me all kinds of unnecessary warranties and extras. Friendly staff, no pushy sales tactics, attention to detail... Everything you could wish for in a pleasant buying experience. 5 Stars!!

Of course, we wish we could have paid less for our 2022 Tucson, but we understand that they are in high demand right now...WE sure wanted one! My husband and I describe our buying experience as enjoyable, for the first time ever. Richard Marsh was great, and so was sales manager Jeremy and finance manager Jordan. No high pressure or condescending attitude at all. EVERYONE there was friendly, pleasant, and helpful...definitely worth the drive down from Clemmons.

My car transmission was going bad. The service department took care of all the paperwork (transmission was under guarantee), they provided a car while my car was being repaired. They kept me up to date and when it was done, return and pick up was fast. Excellent service!!

I was stressed out due to handling issue of the vehicle, made online appointment with ease and went in. Jason and his team really took care of me as I entered the service station. He checked the VIN# and I had overdue recalls and he took care of that too. They made sure it was explained to me (all the recalls too) and told me the price of changing steering wheel coupler (cheapest in town btw) before I left the dealership. When I returned, the vehicles were fix as promised and on time. Very friendly staff, will be back again to service and shop for more vehicles.
We didn’t have a great experience. Car is great we love that but dealing with dealership was a nightmare. We understand demand is high and supply is low. But with that said we wanted a Palisade and a certain style. The dealership said they found the one we want but was going to be at a sister store and would call us next day when they could get it in. Waited all next day and we had to call back to sales guy to find out if we got car or not. Never returned calls. Then finally got a hold of someone at dealership (was manager) said we would have your car next day and they would call in morning to let’s us know time to come in. Never heard back again had to call in. Talk to sales guy and said they had car and we could come in. Then when we get there sales guy was very rude, was eating while talking to us. Kept arguing with us when we asked about the numbers. made us feel like we where the bad guys for getting a car. Go over to finance guy and they over charged us for car by $2k. Had to point it out when I was signing. Then he had to go back to sales guy to verify. Finally got it done and signed. Was a terrible experience for a car we where so excited about. Took the excitement right out of buying a new car. We will never go back to that dealership.

Lake Norman Hyundai Advertises many vehicles that have never Seen the lot. Many are vehicles out of state. That they cannot even get. Florida Georgia Tenn. The place is part of a corporation that has hundreds of other Dealerships. They try to come off like they have A very large inventory which is All a crock of BULL. Once you get there they will tell you they just sold the car. The salesman are told to lie and get everyone in even if the car has never been in stock. Very Dishonest Dealership. The Christian Owner Cam should be ashamed of himself for lying and misleading many of the customers. Many of these customers travel very far hours away sometimes even out of state for a vehicle that has Never been on the lot. Once they get there there told im sorry the vehicle has been sold But we have other cars for you to look at. Buy elsewhere

Let me just tell y’all something. Donny, Greg, and Jeremy are the best. As a young person trying to buy a car it’s been difficult to find a dealership that will actually help me and explain things to me. I came in looking for a specific car and would not take anything but an Elantra. Greg went out of his way to find me the car I wanted and continuously got back to us about any new information. Donny and Jeremy broke down everything and even though they were busy, they took the time to help me understand every little detail I had questions about. As people and as business men, these three gentlemen are hands down the BEST and I highly recommend EVERYONE go see them about buying and selling your car!!!!!
Purchased a 2018 auto with 18k miles. Purchase price on dealer purchase form was more than online price. Also called to complain about ac not working and was told to take to local Hyundai dealer. Purchased a Hyundai Certification for warranty. Its a shame that the ac doesnt work in a car that has 18k miles. Very unfortunate.
We drove my daughters Hyundai to get a full diagnostic before she left for college (it would occassionally cut off but always managed to restart) They had the car for over a week and said there was some additional electrical diagnostic required. When we arrived, the service manager Alan seemed surprised that we expected to drive it back home because it no longer would start. This is after my daughter had paid $130 for the diagnostic!!! He proposed that they could do a few changes/experiments like replacing the fuel pump (at our expense of course), but he felt it was unlikely that would correct the problem. He then suggested we talk to the sales representative who wanted to get her into another Hyundai vehicle SMH! I thought, You want me to pay YOU to make replacements on the vehicle that I drove in and I cant drive it out? I dont think so. I quickly called for a tow and hired another mechanic who fixed the bad wire issue for under $500. I would beware taking your vehicle there as their goal is not to fix but to make a quick sell when they cant fix your car. It was all in all a good experience for my daughter -- so for that 1 star for the guy who took the car in and another for the experience in the long run
When I brought my car in for an oil change and an overall check up, the beginning of my experience was a little shaky but then it was amazing. The ladies in reception were sweet, welcoming and very professional and they directed me to the service department with warm, friendly smiles.When I first went to the service department, I was not greeted right away, actually ignored for about 10 minutes and then when I was greeted it was short and almost rude . . . . . One of us will get to you.I was referred to ask for Jay Allen by a mutual friend of ours and as soon as he stepped up, things went smoothly. Mr. Allen treated me with the utmost professionalism. While he was entering my information into the computer, I overheard some young gentlemen in the service area using foul language and disrespectful remarks. I could plainly hear them.Other than the gentlemen at the service desk and the young men working on cars, it was a fantastic. I feel you need more employees like Mr. Allen. The utmost in professionalism and giving information all along the way. I never had to wait more than 20 to 25 minutes for an update on my car.I will be back for sure. Please compliment Mr. Allen on my behalf and the ladies in reception too. Its because of them that I will be back.Thank you.
Place is Nice but they need to organice the Lot. Between the usted Cars and the Brand New Hyundais. Some in the front line are mixed. My recomendation is divide the groups.

Absolutely amazing! I was helped by Alex and he was kind, very understanding and informative. Every one else was just as kind and none of that kindness ever felt forced or fake. I felt like I was treated like royalty while being here. These are genuinely great people who care about your car issues as well as you.They have couch chairs, or a few desks if there are people who would rather be isolated or have work to do. They have a coffee machine (Starbucks) with stocked sugars, creamer and half n half and TVs.They were able to squeeze me in and even let me know about a recall that my company seller didnt tell me about. I even left way earlier than my scheduled time!I will definitely keep coming here. I was going to be a Dodge Charger once I finish nursing school BUT I may just have to stay with Hyundai just to be able to work with them!Hands down best service out here.

I called Lake Norman Hyundai (LKN Hyundai) in Cornelius, NC on May 11, 2021 to make an appointment for 1st service. They gave me an appointment for this morning at 7:30 AM. I arrived early and they opened promptly at 7:30. The service representative, Curt (or Kurt) greeted me immediately. He was such a nice & professional gentleman. It was my first visit there. He looked everything pertaining to my vehicle, including warranty. He actually gave me a short tour of the waiting area and Showroom. Very nice and clean dealership. Within an hour the service was completed. Wow! I was expecting a longer wait but was pleasantly surprised and happy that it wasnt. LKN Hyundai was excellent! Many thanks to Curt. Jeremy Rawis was the sale person, and he was one of the best that Ive dealt with, he give you information when ask, but he was not pushy, he let you have your time, and I went over that car with a fine-tooth comb. I did a lot of research trying to find a new to us car. We drove all the way from Chapel Hill down to this location near Charlotte, because it had the best prices. We paid Below Retail for our car, so they made a little money and we didnt overpay for a car so we walked out with both them and us happy. When I go to buy another car I will check with Jeremy first. So I would suggest for you to ask for Jeremy to help you.
That was very nice of lake of Norman location to accept same day appointment so I give 2 stars for that. The service is nothing to compliment on... a part broke while mechanic was repairing another part unrelated .. and was told it broke because it was old In a sarcastic tone which made me feel some type of way...was told At first I would need to catch a Uber home or get a rental... After while the manager came back to me and said that the mechanics gonna temporary fix it so I can go...I thought I would get quality services going to the dealership but I guess not....Hyundai of Concord has a longer wait but better customer service and appreciation !!!!!
We decided to drive the extra 40 miles to LNH dealership to purchase a new vehicle. It was worth the hour drive. Our sale person Jeff, was wonderful. Low pressure and understanding. The sales Manger was equally great. We are not the easiest people to deal with, but the entire team at LNH did their job and got us into the right car for my parents. If you want a great experience, drive the extra mile and you will be happy too!

The staff at Hyundai were very professional fast & friendly!!! They wash the car before I left & filled the tank to full. I came in a rental they washed the rental and returned it for me so that I can drive off with my new car!!!! It’s been about two weeks now & I have NO issues.
They are a decent location for service but I doubt I will be going back. Had to have two rear tires replaced, aligned, and a supposed oil change.So many errors:1) I was told I could be dropped off at home and picked up (as it took most of the day) they were happy to drop me off but sent their driver home so I had to find my own transportation once they were ready and didnt bother to let me know until the car was ready.2) Replaced my two rear tires but failed to notice significant sidewall wear in a front tire which required immediate replacement (see photo).3) Supposedly aligned my tires however when I took my car to a different location for replacement their alignment check (machine serviced for calibration the prior week) showed serious misalignment (see photo)Overall very disappointing.
Jeremy Rawls was super helpful and made getting a new car easy, zero pressure, and was able to give us a great deal on a 2020 Hyundai Ioniq with all the bells & whistles. Traded in our 2018 model after our lease ended and drove off the parking lot with exactly what we were looking for with no hassles. Our new payments are lower and we put zero down. I went to test drive a Palisade. I walked in and was greeted and asked how could he help me, I said I want to test drive this car. He said okay, let me get the keys and I’ll be out. We drove it. It was a wonderful experience. No questions about if I could afford the vehicle or any other questions.
I recently bought a new Hyundai from a dealership a couple hours away from where I live. Upon experiencing car trouble a week after I bought it, I was able to get it to Hyundai of Lake Norman. They were able to diagnose the problem but told me the part I needed would be on a six week back order. Thankfully they gave me a loaner in the mean time. A week a half later, they called to tell me they were able to get the part in much sooner and got it installed and it worked perfectly. I’m very grateful with the service and the staff I worked with. As long as I am in the area, I will be taking my car to Hyundai of Lake Norman from now on.
Jonathan Covell has sold me my last two cars. I dont usually have too much trust in dealerships but he and his team by far will work to get you the best price possible and the car you want. I looked at other dealers and none could touch the professionalism and courteousness they put on everything. I will go back soon for another car and tires for the other vehicles. The experience overall has been great especially as it relates to how the sales staff, service department and the General Manager got involved with minor check engine issue that occurred immediately after purchase.After four visits it was determined that a sensor needed to be replaced. They went over and above by splitting the cost of the part and reducing the repair cost minimizing my out of pocket expense. They even replaced and repaired the motorized truck part, which is a $600 part.Great teamwork and great leadership with a commitment to excellence.😊
