Really disappointed in the service here after we got my ring. Every single time we come in, the customer service has been subpar or less.First they quoted us a ring fix of $300, which we went to Herteen and they fixed it for $15 and were wonderfully pleasant.Just went back in today to get my ring cleaned and the guy literally just washed it under the sink for a couple of seconds and its still showing obvious dirt. So needless to say, going back to Herteen again.Moral of story - Skip this place and just go straight to Herteen and Stocker.

Will never be back. I have a respiratory condition that I can not wear a mask with and the lady working there did not seem to care. After spending over 3k dollars there in the past 3 months you would think they would want repeat business as my fiance wanted to get her ring cleaned. Very rude and will never be back. Ive been in there several times without a mask and never had an issue. She said i could stand back and I was over 7 feet from the counter and apparently isnt good enough so they throw an attitude about it.

Took my ring in to get checked and they discovered 2 loose diamonds. Sent it in for repair, and within 1 day of getting it back I have a missing diamond.

If you browse here, prepare to be bombarded by sales pitch after sales pitch after sale pitch. They kept us there until after the mall was closed, showing us rings and payment plans to no end. They will absolutely push you to buy a ring you can’t afford. Later on I had to cancel the credit cards they tricked me into signing up for. I ended up designing and buying a ring online though James Allen instead (which I would highly recommend), but had I gone back to the mall to make a purchase in-person, I would definitely have gone to Kay Jewelers instead because they did not pressure us at all. If you chose to shop here, just be prepared!

I love this place. Every so often they give coupons for a free item. The employees are very attentive and friendly. My hubby bought my anniversary ring there. Treated him well.

I cant believe this company closed for Covid, kept everyones jewelry they had to be repaired, and did not bother to reach out or keep in contact at all. Terrible.

I have been buying jewelry there for over 30 years, always have been happy with the quality and price.

My Fiancée purchased a diamond wedding band for me here. It had to be resized and it literally fell apart after less than a year. Luckily I had insurance and they supposedly repaired it. I wore it less than 6 months and it fell apart again. It’s been a couple of months and it’s still in one piece. If you insist on buying anything here make sure you buy the insurance. Obviously we will never buy anything from this jeweler ever again.

Asked for them to clean my ring all three of the sales women crowded around the 9,000$ ring and discussed in hushed voices before informing me my 1 year old ring purchased at a reputable jewler had a Loose center stone “spinning” in the setting they would be happy to ship it off and tighten it for $55 (and probably replace the diamond if I had to guess) I told them no big deal and immediately went to my legitimate jewler that confirmed and showed me it was securely in the setting. The sales person even guessed Helzburg by name when I shared my story. Be warey

They have the best stuff in town

I dont have an issue with Helzberg as a company. This location, that is the issue. Felt silently judged and looked down on when my fiance and I were ring shopping.

The girls in Coralville are great!

Personal attention to detail was great.

I have enjoyed other Helzberg locations, but it appears this one is being managed by inexperienced college students.

Protection plan is poorly implemented. Everything depends on a piece of paper that can be misplaced or lost. They should probably join this century when it comes to taking care of customers and familiarize themselves with things like computers and databases. And the staff at this store seemed indifferent regarding this concern so customer service training is probably in order as well.
