I went to get a screen protector for my brand new phone they recommended a liquid one. I now have scratches on my brand new phone with no way to remove them. This is bs I spoke with the Manger and he said there is nothing he can do. I guess I spent 70 bucks to have scratches on my phone
Associate Jake Grittmann, from the Corville, IA store was especially helpful to us. We were looking to see if we could upgrade my husbands phone, but couldnt add more to monthly bill. He looked into our account and noticed we had 3 lines being used. He asked if we were using them, turns out we discontinued all 3 and am now saving between $50-60 a month. Awful, just went there to pay my bill while I was in town..I had 3 people ahead of me in line, only 3 staff were working ..on a . Sat? ...waited 50 mins and still had 2 people in front of me...gave up when the receptionist was telling people its 1 1/2 hrs wait and I walked out...I dont have all day to sit, just to pay my bill which woulda took 5 mins tops....US Cellular needs a kiosk/kiosks for people who just wanna pay their bill and go....kinda makes it convenient, yes.........

Visited this store to help one of the individuals on our family plan upgrade their phone. They wanted to upgrade to a Galaxy 8. The sales person told us that purchasing a package that included several additional equipment pieces such as a wireless charger and phone case was required for the upgrade. We were also told that insurance on the phone was required. We were told that the cable charger that came with the phone would ruin the phone if we used it and the wireless charger would guarantee longer life of the phone. When I questioned the sales girl I was told this is how we do all the upgrades now. The total cost of the upgrade with everything they were suggesting came to $250. We decided to think about it and left the store. We went to another Us Cellular location and completed the upgrade for $50 dollars. I was able to confirm through other Us Cellular staff as well as individuals who own Galaxy 8 phones that everything the sales staff told us were lies. Please do your research before shopping at this location. The sale staff is aggressive and willing to lie to make additional sales.
What ever happened to compassion and a feeling of where all in this together during this time of COVID-19 and social distancing? I can tell the manager of this location has placed an unreasonable priority on business and sales and no priority on compassion. They use the CDC as an excuse to harm to allow space for with a disability while I conducted business and forced him out in the cold while allowing others in the store as long they were there to conduct business. This is wrong. U.S. Cellular should be embarrassed. Of course, the manager would not identify herself by supplying a business card and decided to go hide in the back room instead of answering my questions. When she did come out she was loud and rude. I reacted in the same fashion. She set a very unfriendly tone. I dont know how she became a manager. Jordan was the person that assisted me as I bought a new iPhone and sat there in silence while this situation took place. Then I get home and the SIMM card provided by Jordan was the wrong size and didnt work in a iPhone. Thankfully, the customer service people at Apple was excellent and he solved the problem. Hats off to APPLE!

I had been putting off upgrading my phone because I just knew it was going to be a hassle and be so annoying. I finally decided to go in to this store to do it and I was upgraded and ready to go within an hour! Every time I come to this store someone walks up to me right away which doesnt happen very often because I look young and like I am not going to spend much money. But the salesman was very helpful and not pushy at all when I said what I wanted. He even helped make it a little bit cheaper without changing my contract. I dont know how there are so many negative reviews for this store but I have always had great service!

Ive had my fair share of lies coming from the agents that Ive worked with here. Im not sure if they just dont know the answer to my questions, or if they just throw out whatever answer they want to hear so they dont have to deal with people. If it werent for my husband working in the middle of nowhere, and this being the only provider that works for him, I would defiantly be looking for different service elsewhere.Management either needs to train this young kids better, or they need to keep a better eye on what theyre telling customers.
The service is fine enough. I dont like U.S. Cellulars corporate customer service at all, and it isnt a very good value considering you pay a lot for not very much data. The first time I came here, the guy that helped me was awesome! I remember him saying it was his last few weeks there.UPDATE: I’m raising my rating to 5 stars. The last time I went, the service was extremely personalized and wonderful.
These guys are GREAT! So much fun even with the hassle of getting a phone upgraded! Cory was our customer assistant. Awesome personality! Nick was also a great help. And the manager Jeff is very personal also. Im not even a US Cellular customer, but my wife is!
I cant believe how little they care about their customers and how they can make changes to your plan to their benifit without notice. They promise one thing to get you and then when your not looking they change things in their computer and claim its no longer available. They used to be a good company but not anymore! They only care about getting customers from other carriers.
A great help in finding appropriate new phones for me and my girlfriend. Give us what we could afford without any pressure to upgrade further. Great help in setting up the new phones.
I just want to take the time to thank Bianca and her manager for spending a lot of time to help struggle with Samsung. We have 3 Samsung A50 phones that have battery problems with swelling. Samsung put up a very big fight and wasnt wanting resolve the issue. But Bianca and her manager helped us with all the phone calls to get it straightened out. I would give 10 stars if I could.
Great customer service. Went into this location to return a Samsung Note 7 and even though this was the first one that had been done by Kurt at this location it was a trouble free exchange for another phone and case. Thank you Kurt!
Thought about my purchase when I got home. The salesman sold me a new phone and all the stuff that goes with it. Right around 600 dollars. I ask about my free accessories and he said that was last week. Ok, can u explain my new phone. What would u like to know he said. Well how about what are some of the cool stuff this phone can do and how does this operate compared to my old phone. No help really in the information, it was like I sold u a 600 phone now get out. Sorry, all phones have problems, we cant help you (Samsung galaxy 7 Ive had for one year and one month so its no longer under warranty.) Try the battery store on the other side of Noodles. The battery store was a lot more helpful. Ill use other US Cellular stores next time.

Service is great! Once you wait in line. With the recent billing mix ups, plus a lot of messing up by a local rep, I now owe like $600 (by surprise) and I was without service on one of my phones for like 3 weeks. Overall they are okay, but considering how frustrating it is when things go wrong, I can now confidently say that Id pay more if I didnt have to deal with the things the others mention in the other comments. (ALL of these things are true) :(
I had been having problems with my phone, but wasnt able to get to the store until 20 minutes before closing. I work retail and know how annoying it can be when customers come in close to closing times. I apologized to everyone there and asked if theyd still be able to look at my phone quick. After figuring out the problem, I eventually decided to purchase a new phone. I said that could come back the next day to do it, since it was almost closing time. However, Sarah was able to activate my new phone in less than 20 minutes that night and she was super helpful, accommodating, and polite. Thank you, Sarah and to US Cellular!
Help was good, but they dont appreciate existing customers. You need to change providers to get a decent price on a new phone anymore.

Ive been a US Cellular customer for over 15 years always with 3-5 phones. This store did have had some waits in the past. Waits are frankly only aggravating when nobody knows who is next so people crowd around.Recently they started having somebody take names as people come in which is a fabulous idea. They have remodeled and enlarged and Im not sure they even need somebody taking names they are so fast.One feature of service that most people probably dont notice is that when a customer representative starts working on your issue, they never, ever act like they are rushing to get you out of the store. They are focused on you alone.When you are the customer, you are their customer and they intend to answer every question until you have no more issues. Period. Total focus on you, the customer. Plus they are efficient in getting things done.Cell phones are complicated and continually evolving. They sometimes have problems. Thats life. They are great inventions.Want to go back to AT&T with an overpriced single land line? Want a 30 second turnaround time like McDonalds?Want real hassles and expenses? Get a European cell phone plan.

A place that does not honor what their represenatives tell you. I feel that isnt good business. Plus you keep customers waiting waaay to long. I feel that next time I need a different phone I will probably check with a different provider because of not getting what I was told at the time of purchase.
The Friday after Thanksgiving we went in and have had terrible customer service since that day and still working out their mistake.IT all started with the associate from that day and then the others trying to make up for the mistakes from that day. For being a customer for 20 years well for that fact even if a customer for one year it has been a terrible experience to say the least for making us jump through hoops for their mistakes for 2 weeks plus! Still not all resolved...One more thing for them to do and I am to call back later to make sure they get another numerous issue taken care of it will all be said and done. Again cannot believe how they made us jump through hoops from their mistake of giving us a wrong promotion card towards the correct phone and it not activating for 4x and still working on crediting bank acct for getting charged twice that day that should of been corrected that Friday when we were in there getting a new phone. I MUST SAY that usually the service and most associates there have been fine, BUT this time it has just been terrible and thankfully they are trying to correct it 2 weeks later. Hopefully will all be done today! Finally are working on solving their mistake.
I went in sunday to upgrade mu phone there was a blond short lady that welcomed us in a very rude manner she is a terrible customer service,all the questions we asked were answered in a get the F,,,,ck out of here style .I had to go the hwy1 store to get my problem solved with more respect and a excellent customer service.That Coralville store is terrible and I dont recommend doing biz with them.Bunch of liars and angry people.

Us cellular is the worst. The customer service will lie to you and continuous name pass the buck. Do not got with them unless like being ripped off and horrible customer service.
