I have gotten a few cars from here, at first it was fine, I did get a Nissan that was nice and seemingly had no problems and me not having the car now has nothing to do with this place d but they DID sell me a car that fully exploded on the highway two months after I got it. The mechanic told me they knowingly sold me a car that was bound to have massive mechanical failure at any moment despite their 300 point check they say they do. When you buy a used car here bring your A game and DEFINITELY check what they are charging you for because theyll try and tack on dumb charges.EDIT: I have reached out to them when it happened (this name isnt my legal name so of course they dont have records). I was told there was nothing to do but buy a new car and just push two loans together.

Very frustrated with our recent buy in this store. We bought 2011 Chevrolet Equinox less than 6 months ago and now the engine needs to be replaced and should cost us $5K. Patrick said the boss is able to pay a portion of $1K and we need to pay $4K for engine replacement. This is not even fair for us. The car was even shut down in the first week after we bought it. Shawn took care of it and said everything has been fixed (but probably not the engine). Please consider another store. The car is not reliable and not worth your money.

Bought a car from this location and its been an absolute nightmare. Ive had the car for about 2 months and Ive put more miles on the loaner cars than I have mine. Its been in and out of the shop 3 times now and every time I get it back something else would be wrong. I just got it back 3 days ago and theres already another problem. I dont know if they sell cars they dont look over or just have really bad technicians. I will never buy from this location again.

I had an Amazing experience buying my Dream truck Dodge Ram. I seen it in CR and Lanessa went right up there and brought it back for a test drive. Oh my it just glided on down the road I knew right then I just had to buy it . And I did with the help of Lanessa and others. I think I had it for 3 days and I lost all my gas out of the truck on the road. The great people at this Superstore in Coralville pcked up my truck and towed it to CR and they fixed it with no charge and even filled up my tank of gas that I lost. I had the worst experience of my life!! Patrick told me that he would give me $1000 for my car. He gave me $250. The extra key fob was at a different location. The paperwork for the sale took 3 hours!! I have had the car for 3 weeks and McGrath has been harassing me the entire time saying the bank has more requirements and needs more information. Patrick is rude and condescending. They let me take the car and then threatened me more than once to take the car from me. Tammy called me after I have had the car for 3 weeks and tells me that the bank needs a letter for proof of income. I told her I emailed it to the bank. She continued to argue with me and tell me they dont have it. I immediately called the bank...guess what? The bank hadit in my file. Clueless MF.I have called my lawyer and I am seriously considering having my lawyer file a suit against them for mental anguish and harrassment. I am on disability and this has been a very stressful encounter.9/10/2020And more issues...The 1st fob battery is almost dead 2nd fob Tim gave me doesnt work. The car is shaking when I get up to 60 miles an hour. This car has 41,000 miles on it. Thats ridiculous. This place is horrible. Shady, sleazy used dealership. How do you call the a CERTIFIED preowned car REALLY?!!

I so wish I could give this dealership more than one star, however I cant based on the customer service I received after I purchased my Grand Prix. Brennen my salesman was great I looked at one car said no so he showed me the one I purchased he was professional and honest with everything however a week after I bought said car there was a coolant leak.(bad water pump) I called and Joe I believe his name is basically said well you did buy it as is. Yes but I also told them I wanted a reliable car I could drive and not worry about a thing, so he told me he would have someone else call back which they did and this time it was Mr. Garcia who also said . You did buy a budget car yes I did however I didnt agree to buy an unreliable car, again they were gonna have The GM call me, I am still waiting on his call its been 3 weeks.

Very eager salespeople. Lengthy sales process including a long extended warranty pitch. Came here to look at a car that was listed for $15k for several weeks on their website. Approached salesperson with concerns about weather cracking/dry rot tires and salesperson stated they would look to see if they can re-work numbers to compensate that the tires needed replaced immediately. Salesperson came back and said congratulations, we were able to work the numbers and offer a discount. Stated it was $16499 and they brought it down to $15000. Told them that was interesting that it has been listed for $15k for weeks on the website. They stated that they dont know about that and walked away. I should have walked away too. So, after several hours, we drove it home... First time I spent over $10k at a car dealership to drive it home and need to buy all new tires and repair a 2 crack on the windshield... Not impressed.

Didnt get a good vibe from many of the employees here, went to look at a car they didnt make sure it was clean, didnt have any paperwork on the cars the person helping is had to keep asking someone else about the vehicle🤔😒

What a weird time for everyone right now. I thought Id add a bit of positivity with a much overdue review. I moved from Ireland with my wife in 2018 and popped into the store for a used car. We were paired with Mario, probably one of the nicest fellas in the industry you will meet. I am not the easiest person to deal with but Mario pulled all the right strings and found a car within budget - the sale was seamless. Of course, every car dealer can find you a used car but what impressed me the most was the after-sale service I received from Mario, Zac and Andrew. All in all, I had a good experience. The financial side of things were explained to me very well and it was simple to understand. I did have to fill out paperwork three times due to errors, but that’s the only roadblock I ran into. Very friendly people and very professional.

Went to buy a car, salesman did job... went here because of warranty advertising but like always its a run around filled with loop holes and long winded up sales. Sounds trivial, paid for year tags... get plates and surprise surprise... they are not for a year. I called to inquire, oh how odd and Ill look into it. It was a mistake, I understand that but gut feeling is thats a run of the mill excuse... I am a numbers person, careful or frugal whichever I like to know where and what my money is going to and for... if you pay for a year, new plates come now you have to get renewal tags in 60 days.... numbers do not add up. I was told I would get a refund but amount is off and yet to be seen... Disappointed overall. Gave two stars for salesman alone but not for after

Mario garcia and Patrick Davis did an amazing job taking care of our family today they definitely went abpve and beyond to help us get what we needed thank you guys from the bottom of my heart!!! Its nice knowing people still go out of thier way to help you guys really did it today!!! Thank you!!!

I had another great experience with the Coralville Used Car Superstore Team. I have done business with them 3 times already and it has been great. My car salesman was Travis and he was a funny, down to earth guy. He got right to work and got me in a pretty good looking ride that gave me the wow factor I wanted. Thankful for him for being so helpful and for putting up with me. Also, the whole finance team was super helpful as well. Special thanks to Torie and Jake for explaining everything to me and answering all my questions. Its a good feeling to know if I had any questions there just a phone call away. Overall, I couldnt be happier with the business Ive received! :)

Very helpful upfront, searched a bunch of cars because I didn’t know exactly what I wanted. Not as budget helping but did work with me some to get the price down to be a bit more affordable! They stayed late to help me get it all finalized and was able to take my car home that night! Was there for quite awhile but super happy with my purchase!

Brennen was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable..I was able to express my desires without interruption, as he was a good listener... I felt no ridiculus pressure that is often the case at some car dealerships. My experience was a good one. I will be checking them out next time we needanother vehicle. I do find it strange that they do not have a service station set up here in Iowa City..... Thanks Dennis Hawkins..........

Zach Roberts was absolutely amazing!! He heard ALL of my wants and my dislikes!!! He helped me into my dream vehicle that I have wanted since I was a kid!!! There was a recall on the vehicle but they took car of it before I even left the lot! They gave me a loaner and let me know as soon as it was ready! They were willing to drive it the 30 miles all the way to me so I didn’t have to change my plans or leave work early!!! They truly are an amazing company and I’d recommend anyone who’s looking for a used or new car to go visit Zach Roberts at the used car superstore!!!
