I have to give a four star to a grocery store with a full bar inside and restaurants; it’s like a mall! No mask requirement which is sad during a time of high cases of COVID. Otherwise it looks to have everything including a Starbucks that doesn’t do mobile orders.

Did not disappoint. Large store with all the fancy brands and products.At self checkout, you must touch the type of payment before you insert your card. It doesn’t automatically recognize that you’re using a card like most stores.

In general the store is clean, bright and seems well-managed. I have found the checkers to be very good most of the time. I like the option to self-check and dont see it as a negative, but as a convenience. In my experience there are seldom shortages on the shelves. The pharmacy is great. There are two negatives I have experienced repeatedly: sale/digital coupon prices are often not given during checkout, and if you find it on your receipt you need to stand in line at customer service and argue for the price; and always check for your fuel saver discounts on your receipt before you leave - I would guess I get shorted about one in four trips (increasing lately), and again, back to the service counter after check out. These both seem like easily correctable problems related to IT and not to the basic business.

Overall the store is clean… over priced for everything but the produce is always fresh. The food court section stinks as far as the food packaging after the food courts close goes. I picked up a teriyaki chicken bowl with rice and the rice is never cooked. It tastes like they just dumped a box of rice under the chicken.

I love going into that store everybodys so nice and friendly people in the restaurant part theyre all great and then you walk through and everybodys stalking and they always say hi to you and then you walk into the bakery part the guys in there talk to you and then you walk over to the cake decorating part and theyre all so friendly over there the gals always speak to you they got the best cookies of their monster cookies my son just loves them anywhere you walk in that store there also friendly cashiers are friendly soccer everybody and anybody its a great store the station the same way the gas station yes I love going in that store

Very nice grocery store with friendly staff that were helpful. There fruits and veggies were fresh and delicious. Nice bakery and deli. The Chinese food looked delicious but didn’t try it. They had good imitation snow crab with cocktail sauce that was delicious. Prices were good and competitive. Wide selections of everything.

We ate here to get something quick for lunch and like always the food at hyvee stores is just always fantastic and this time was no exception to that rule. An elderly woman accidentally knocked over a display and the staff made sure she was okay and made sure she knew it wasnt a big deal to ease her embarrassment. A great moment by great people. Very nice store, super clean. We went to the market place for lunch. Huge selection and very tasty. The price was also super reasonable. Overall an excellent experience. Highly recommend it.

This is a grocery store that has everything you can imagine on the shelves. Excellent deli for all types of meat and cheese.

This Hyvee feels a lot nicer and newer than the coralville one. The hot food and deli are much larger and there are more options. This store is also always clean and makes for a nice experience. Even though its more expensive than Walmart, I always do my grocery shopping here because it just feels nicer

I go here often to get breakfast in the morning and do daily grocery shopping as well. The employees here are simply amazing. They go out of their way to help all of the customers they serve. This is the very reason I continue to come back here. This hyvee is not only very well maintained but the employees match the scenery :)

This particular Hy-Vee is the best grocery store in the world. They have everything. I might move to north liberty just to be close to this store.

My first visit ever to a Hy-vee and I was not disappointed. Very good selection of groceries, fresh fruit and vegetables and their meat section was top notch. Lots of grade A steaks, chicken, pork, and seafood was available for purchase.

Im really not impressed with the meat. Bought pork chops a week ago. The sell/freeze by date said September 13. Opened the package on 9/6 and they smelled like rotten eggs. Didnt even want to drive 20 min to return them bc they smelled so bad!

The floral department was wonderful and provided us with a beautiful garland and rose petals for our daughters wedding! Just a beautiful arrangement and perfect flower choices. Thank you!

I’m disappointed of how because the manager treats me from the first impression his name is Jack told me not going to help me and I’m from Dubai international student for University of Iowa medical school then I thought this is how it works in this country then I approached by TJS& SAL Really helped me clean every detail, I have never been and this IV before and I won’t come over at this time ever when you guys have managers that they’re called evil like me doesn’t know anything about the country and how it works please don’t let them be managers he refused to help me completely until TJ & SAL Through anything until I checked out happy unsatisfied with your hiring managers specially the white guy called Jake.

We were looking for a special Root Beer called 1919...We knew this was the best place, that would have it, because they have everything..and they did have 12 packs, its kind of expensive, but very good for sure!!.....

Love having this location so close to North Liberty. They have everything we need and their fresh food options are great. Highly recommend the Mia Pizza that is in their food court area. And like any other Hy-Vee, their HyChi is delish

The store is usually clean and organized and the employees are typically friendly and helpful. The only criticism is that they dont always have sanitary wipes or spray to clean the carts.

Doesn’t conform to posted business hours. Wine and spirits always closes before posted time, and no one is willing to let you in to make a purchase.As with any HyVee, items are overpriced, and at this one specifically, the meat case stocks iffy quality items.Save yourself time, money, and frustration by going to Fareway instead.

This is a fantastic Hy-Vee. They have so many fresh options that you can come here for breakfast lunch and dinner and do some shopping in between. You can get all your groceries here and many other things you may like as well. Its clean, spacious, and well run. It is worth your time to check this Hy-Vee out.

This HyVee is spacious and has a high end feel. The food court feeling area has many choices. The entire store is brightly lit. The redesigned beauty section is overwhelming and, honestly, off-putting. I feel unworthy. The individual bathrooms are at the front of the store, which are convenient but unnecessarily gendered. They also have two separate mothers rooms available.

I bought some cookies that were on sale for $6.99 but got charged the original price of $9.99. I went back to the store and told them what happened. I was expecting a refund of $3.00 but got the full amount back. That is their policy. Very happy with their store and costumer service 😃

This store is clean, accessible and professional! I was impressed by this stores size and enjoyed walking through the many aisles. It seemed like there was always something new or different that you couldnt find anywhere else. Especially, in any of the similar stores nearby. I would recommend this store and give it 5 stars. They have self checkouts, regular checkouts, a liquor section, bakery section, fresh produce and meat section, refrigerated section, hygiene section, baby section, pharmacy, flower shop, restaurant, freezer section, and much much more! Theres also a hyvee gas station nearby, which is convenient too. The staff are generally very helpful and friendly.

Fairly large grocery store that carries most food items. Reminds me of Jewels in Chicago.

Best Hyvee Ive ever been to! They have multiple private bathrooms. Never seen anything like it!

Nice place but Hy Vee here should not put a person who is not trained to cook in the food section.Went to get a rice bowl and some guy slowly shows up and made a face looking utterly shocked when asked for a rice bowl. I looked up the menu where it says rice bowl. This guy stares at it for 10 seconds or so then points me to a place where they stack teriyaki bowls and tells me it is a same thing. Hy vee should train this person or pull it off the menu or at least educate the staff not to give lame excuses.

First of all this is a grocery store. However, the layout of the store is easy to maneuver, the signing is good. This time, I went to the Market Cafe. It is located very close to the food courts where you can have almost all types of food. The bar staff is friendly and prompt, just as the other employees in the store.

Hyvee is fine, I feel prices are alittle high for this area, and there seems to be alot of waste within the company as far as bakery goods, and the deli serves old food like 70% of the time ive gone there. Produce is always fresh, some of the best meat you can get-again meat is higher, but it is good. Wide variety of awesome fish, love that they have the mahi mahi tuna steaks...mmmm. Alcohol competes well with local liquor store- decent prices there mostly. They have an organic area that is awesome with lots of alternates to fatty foods sold on the regular shelves. Employee owned(whatever that means?)--lol, I worked there, I never got to tell anyone what to do?--lol--I owned nothing. Pharmacy is good everybody in pharmacy are pretty good at communicating. Quick service in the pharmacy, good people. There is an is postal service, which a great feature for an grocery store, which can ship smallish packages for convenience, very nice. Still they have an Starbucks, which take it or leave it. Everybody is pretty kind, family buit store with family values.

HyVee is gold standard of Iowa Grocery stores. I consider it an expensive grocery store on non-sale items. They do have great deals every week though if you keep up on them!

Its a very nice Hy-Vee the health food market is in the back of the store which is a little odd but very kind employees will show you where to go or help you find anything

Hy-Vee has gotten very good at online ordering with same day pickup. Be sure to specify your substitutions and if you need to meet a specific amount for reward points

Was just shopping there tonight and discovered they no longer sanitize their shopping baskets. When I called customer service to ask about it they said they stopped about 6 weeks ago. They still sanitize their carts, so it makes me feel like they are more worried about the health of customers that will be purchasing more product; or that the time/cost to sanitize the baskets isnt worth it. Im not happy that for the last month Ive been unknowingly grabbing dirty baskets. It seems like the least they could do is place a sign warning that the baskets are no longer sanitized.

Good experience. They have a very wide selection of all kinds of food items. We came to look for ingredients to prepare a traditional German dish Schupfnudeln, and found everything we needed. The result was most delicious, thanks to Hy-Vee.

We were at the High V in Coralville out towards North Liberty. It was it has been open for two years. And it is a wonderful store. Everything is laid out really nice and looks like everything under the sun is in there.

This is easily the nicest grocery I have ever been too in my life! The entire premises, inside and out, is spotlessly clean. The staff is courteous, helpful and well dressed. Their shelves are fully stocked with high quality options. The bakery is off the charts. Great produce section. They even have a cafe with plenty of seating area and TVs with sports on.

More expensive than other places, but you get what you pay for. Friendly employees, clean and well-maintained store.

Hy-Vee is a cut above as far as groceries go. Quality meats and a very extensive and well stocked inventory. You can find some good bargains if you take the time to look but, cheap aint good and good aint cheap. I would suggest picking up meats and produce at Hy-Vee and everything else at Aldi or Walmart. The meats at Hy-Vee are on a level that most stores simply cant achieve 😉

Went to the bear and alcohol side. Great selection!! Good prices! There were beers on tap, but were not able to sample them. A beer counter is very popular in other parts of country (e.g. Lowes food in the SE) that allows samples and pours, so not very useful at HyVee.

Staff was very helpful. Store was very clean

Fuel saver card is really helpful. Prices vary but overall selection of items are nice

The marketplace is amazing. The people can be a little more friendly but I dont think i could be friendly everyday with so much traffic. The store looks incredible. However I could not give a 5 star because the prices are higher than any other store in area.But you get what you pay for. Overall I new favorite store.

Typically overpriced like other HY-VEE stores, the bakery is nice but seem to have the same selection continually. Good sales if you just go in for those items. Friendly service at Starbucks always. I wont be returning for the time being as there were so many people walking around with no mask and when I asked an employee she said that they are suggesting masks but to each their own so in other words they are not inforcing it.

Well... how can I leave a good review here? I called around local Hy-Vees trying to find an expensive bottle of champagne Ive bought there before a couple times to celebrate my brothers recent engagement. I now live in CO but wanted to buy it for my brother in Coralville and have him pick it up. This Hy-Vee Wine & Spirits was recommended because they usually have a good selection of expensive champagne. So I called. They were out of anything over $50-$60 which really means they have no good champagne of any kind. I wanted to spend $200. I was told Jeremy, the manager, would call me the very next morning so I could place a special order. That was several days ago--I am still waiting for that call...What gives, guys?? Im a buyer!
