I am that customer who will haggle, I am that customer who doesnt want to pay full price, I am not a wealthy man and I am of the mindset that every dollar spent is a dollar I cant use for my family. Ron & Mike, were super accommodating and helpful to me, as I am that difficult customer. Ron is an awesome Israeli gentleman who really spoke my language. This summer Im driving my car from Miami to the Arctic Ocean, Tuktoyaktuk, the Northern most drive-able city in Canada. The city is an Inuit village and Ill be donating my car to the village at the end of the trip. Ron understood this and immediately changed his recommendations for what work he suggested I get done based on my circumstance and budget. He did a ton of work and didnt charge me for all of it. Came here on a whim based on google reviews and the Dr. did not disappoint. Rather I was taken aback by Mike at Dr. Brakes. Professional but not in inhuman. He certainly diagnosed my oldboy 04 Lincolns oil leak, bad brakes and took care of the easy tire replacement and alignment work. However, its not the quality, efficient work I was most impressed with rather that buddy just knows how to communicate...which is a rare trait these days. He was able to work with me to make a deal beneficial for both parties. The Dr cured my car so I brought him another. You will do the same.

Mike was Excellent! Called regarding cracked front compliance bushings on my Honda Civic and alignment. The Honda dealership wanted an arm and a leg for the repair. Mike described exactly what needed to be done and saved me about $300 from what the dealership wouldve charged. The 5 star reviews are well deserved as its hard to find mechanics that wont try and empty your wallet. I needed brake pads on my 2016 Escalade. I had them priced out through the dealership at a much higher price. I was given different options for the different grades of brake pads. They also told me I didnt have to change the back yet, I still had time, which I thought was very honest. Most places will just tell you that you need them. I was impressed with their honesty. They also showed me that I was missing several clips for the plastic engine cover and installed them free of charge. While waiting, there were several people there who had been coming to Dr. Brakes for years and said they wont go anywhere else. Wait time was minimal. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to have something done to their car. Will be back for sure!!!

This is hands down the best experience I have ever had with any auto related repair ever/anywhere. Let’s start with the owner, Ron, who truly cares about people and wants to give you a great deal, you don’t have to beg or bargain. He also made me feel very comfortable as I waited for my car to get repaired. The prices are hard to compete with, and the service is top notch, but the speed is impressive. They really move fast back there to complete all services on your car. I’m telling you, I don’t love super close to this shop which is put west pretty far, but I would drive double the distance to come here. They have earned my trust and my respect. Well done guys 👍🏻👍🏻

This place is the best when it comes to taking care of your car. They don’t use aggressive/forceful sales tactics as​ most other auto repair shops do. Ron (the owner) helped fix up a car that I haven’t used in over a year. He gave me a status on the car almost daily while they still had my car in the shop. Would definitely recommend bringing your car here if you have any issues with it and they are significantly cheaper than most other auto shops.

I wanted to love this place so bad but after yesterday’s visit, I got a bad taste in my mouth. I went in for a brake job estimate around 12:00 p.m. After receiving a decent price for the estimate, I asked if he (the owner or one of the owners) had enough time to do it and it wouldn’t be too long. He said it wouldn’t take long. Therefore, I said okay. Fast forward to a few hours later, they bought the wrong brake pads for my car and now it’s more time. Fast forward 30 minutes later, it’s an additional 80 dollars because of the pad size. Now, I understand what estimate means but I feel like you shouldn’t give a customer one price and then change it while the car is already halfway into being serviced. Overall, I feel like I paid way too much to change only brake pads. On the bright side, the actual mechanic and the owner was really nice.- UPDATE: I talked to the owner and he was willing to allow me to check prices from other places and compare them. Ford was super expensive and although, AAMCO was $90 cheaper they were not offering OEM pads. In the end, my brakes feel great so I am content.

Excellent service and friendly environment. They were getting ready to close and still took our car in right away to fix the tire. They even made sure all of the other tires were fine and had correct air pressure. We would definitely recommend going in to see Ron and his team for all your auto needs.

Ron, the owner made sure to take the time to show me the difference between when he does a brake check and when a dealer does one via a hidden video he obtained. His checks are actually measured without the obstruction of the calipers while the dealer just eyeballs it and writes a number down. I know this because I took my call to the dealer last week and they said my back breaks were fine with 8mm left on the pads but i needed front breaks. I took it to Dr. Brakes to do the work and he showed me the actual measurement of what is left on my break pads on all four of them before he took them off to do the work. The dealer recommendations were nowhere near reality as there was nowhere near 8mm left on my rear pads. Ron did a timely job at much better than dealer prices. In an industry full of unscrupulous garages and car mechanics, Dr. Brakes is truly one place that you can fully trust. I have taken all of my cars there for years.

I usually go to a place down the road called Zippy but this place was amazing!I brought some tires for them to place on my car and they got it done in a great amount of time for a ridiculously reasonable price. I called to several tire places and they beat every single one of them. Not only that but they don’t try to bring up random expenses for other jobs not necessary. I really needed my breaking pads replaced and they once again beat all prices I shopped for. They are super nice and helpful and Mike was amazing with taking care of everything for me. I wish I went to them a long time ago. They won’t disappoint!
