On July 1st 2021, I signed a contract with Closet Factory located at 1536 South Dixie HWY, Coral Gables, Florida 33146 The work started on 7/26, and was supposed to be done on 7/28/2021.The work was not done, and worker packed up all his tools and left after 2 pm and before 3pm, his usual quitting time.No workers from closet factory return until 8/9.The designer Brook Johnson comes back on 7/30/2021 and stated that she was embarrassed by the work was done to that point.She took photos and writing up a “punch list” while her manager Ashlee was on the phone.She promised the worker who did the installation will not come back again.However on8/9/2021, the same installer showed up.I called the designer, she indicated both manager Ashlee and her did not advise to send the same worker but owner overruled.The job was not finished at 8/9/2021.8/10/2021,worker named Eliandy was sent to fix all incorrectly installed products and damaged items, but he said there is too much damaged items, he needs to take photos and write up the list for the items to repair, he indicated that he can come back on that Friday. He was also speechless with the installation but the office manager said they couldn’t schedule anything until the Monday of 8/23/2021, which we have a pre-scheduled trip on 8/21/2021, and have to schedule to 8/31/2021, the worker did not show up until 12:57, our condo rules are not allowing work after 4pm, the worker also was not provided with all the parts that he needs to repair the problem. when I texted the manager Ashlee at 4:15pm, she said “just let him leave, and I will speak to him on why he didn’t finish it”On 9/10 another worker showed up, according to the information I received from the office manager Ashlee Smith, he was going to return all drawers and hanging rods, also measured all parts that were damaged but he showed up without any parts.Again I was not giving any information on when they are going to return.As you can see we were charged on our credit cards for 90% $9715.95 of the total payment on 7/26/2021.Numerous photos and video have been sent to the owner Sal Roldan and manager Ashlee with no response from the owner and manager Ashlee don’t think the closets look bad!This is just small part of the photos, I will submit more if you need more!

This year I contracted this company to design and install 5 custom interior closets and custom garage cabinets. They did an amazing job except for a few slightly damaged doors for the garage project.SEVEN months later and after numerous phone calls and promises by thier representatives they have failed to replace the doors. I have been asked by neighbors and people just driving by my house when my garage door is open who did my garage. My response is simple Sorry I dont recommend themThe most important part of any job is the final finishings.

Sal, Gladys and the team are great! Craftsmanship is awesome and the installation went smoothly. I definitely would use the closet factory again.

They are impossible to work with on your time. They just randomly show up whenever is convenient to them even after you have paid them in full. Typical Miami, the installers dont speak English at all. They say the are coming at 9am and show up at 2pm, so honestly if you have to work for a living you will not be able to use their service. Extremely disappointed with them

I got stood up on the appointment. When I called the excuse was that the designer had an emergency - a standard answer because if you knew she had an emergency why didnt you call the customer to let him/her know. I asked for the manager to call but she didnt call. My house is being remodeled and I took the morning off to be there on time. Is 10am to early for you guys? Notice the other closet guys (Closetxperts and Closets by Design) start working at 8am but Closet Factory starts at 10am. All other competitors confirmed their appointments.

I love this compny. I have use them for 3 projects at my house and I am very satisfyied with their service. My disigner Luz is very nice and provied ideas for my project, and the installer are very profecionals and clean.

There is only one place to go in Miami for custom closets and garages or anything else you want custom built in your home, and that is the Closet Factory! Dont wait, dont hesitate, go there and talk to Sal Roldan, the owner and the nicest guy you will likely ever meet. You will be treated kindly and fairly and most importantly get the closet or garage of your dreams! Incredible quality, workmanship, and value. Im not even done working with Sal and Closet Factory as we just finished designing a fishing room which is a Fishermans Man cave aka tackle room which will be the envy of every fisherman in Florida! We had an appointment set for Saturday at 930am. I called at 1030am thinking they may be running late. Left voicemail. Waited another hour an called again at 1130am. Left another voicemail. No call back. Finally we gave up after 1pm. I get a call 2 days later with excuses. Now they call me to see if I can give them another chance. Really showed how much lack of respect for someones time on a weekend.

My closet did come out nice, but they sent one rod that was the wrong size. I called many times to have it fixed, and it hasn’t been fixed. It’s been almost 3 months now.

I had a full installation of your closets many years ago. Recently, I needed a few additional shelves. Even though my purchase was very small, Susan Estrada at your store on S. Dixie Hwy. understood exactly what I wanted. She made the ordering easy. I did not have to drive to the factory for pick up; she herself picked up the shelves and delivered them to me with her willingness to help, her great accommodation to my needs and her promptness. She was great.

Have to remove the closet factory installed cabinet to replace new tiles. Called in to service reinstallation, gave us no concrete answer how to help us. Very disappointed!

If I could turn back time I would never use their service again! To charge money they were very quick but to do work not. I ordered my closet in march and now it’s august and it’s still not finished! They keep missing details from closet and don’t a good work.

Athya from the Coral Gables office helped design built-in storage cabinets, shelves and desk for our playroom/office/den. It’s perfect and everyone thinks it looks like real wood! Durable for our busy toddler and provides tons of storage. So happy we went with closet factory. Athya was wonderful and helped us every step of the way. Would definitely do another design with her.

I just got my master closet installed last week and I’m loving the final product. The entire end-to-end experience was perfect. My designer, Athya, was great at giving me suggestions, honest about what would work and what wouldn’t, and was easily available to answer questions. The installer, Daniel, was courteous, prompt, and left everything spotlessly clean. Would definitely recommend to family and friends!

I am so so very happy with my closet and custom laundry room installation!! Closet factory went above and beyond all of our expectations. From the very beginning when Sal came to measure he was very helpful with ideas and suggestions for us to best optimize the space. Then our visit to show room was even more helpful in the process. There are so many great options and it was so ideal to actually see what was available in person instead of out of a catalog. We went ahead with some items for our closet that we would have never considered because of the recommendations given to us and because we actually got to see it in the show room. Lastly installation was quick and professional. No mess was left behind and everything came out just as it was on the rendering, well actually even better! The total experience was just absolutely stress free. (Which is so refreshing when considering any home projects.) I think closets and laundry rooms are very underrated, we underestimate how much we use them and although a closet installation may seem like a luxury it is actually an investment. We use our closet everyday and thanks to the closet factory everything is so organized and easily accessible. I love my closet and so does everyone that visits! I would highly recommend not thinking twice when considering Closet Factory.

I recently had my daughters’ bedroom closet redone with Closet Factory and I would like to recommend Carolina and Max for this kind of project as they were wonderful to work with. From consultation, where Carolina was full of ideas and able to maximize storage and organization in the space, to installation, where Max took such care and thoughtfulness you would have thought he was installing a closet system in his own home, the experience was stress-free and seamless. The process for this started out great. I really loved that they came out and did all of the measuring and created a 3D drawing to show what it would look like. Fast forward to six weeks later. The installer showed- half of the doors were damaged and he could not finish the job. Due to the language barrier he could not communicate with me what was happening and no one from the Closet Factory called me, I had to call them to ask. Just poor communication from the company. They were quick to bill us, but we are still waiting for the rest of our cabinet doors!

Please be really careful with this location, at the beginning to get the job everything was really nice and good communication. Once the job starts I start having issues, the salesperson only communicates with mi to make sure that I have to pay extra but never get in contact with me to see if the job was done, not only the salesmen no one got in contact with me to let me know how was everything and when the job is going to be complete. I fallow the payment process first 50% once the installation starts 40% and once the job is done the 10% they charge me without finish the job and unknowing when are they coming back to finish. The is no complaint about the installer but the job is not complete and I already paid for everything. I am uploading some pics to prove that the job is not done and to prove that you have to be careful with this franchise. I am really disappointed with myself to select this franchise to do my closets. My husband and hired closet factory to build our guest room closet, master closet and a bookcase for my husbands office. Christine was an amazing sales rep she assisted with everything I needed down to all the little details in my master closet which were a hidden jewelry cabinet and hanging clips for my boots.Melissa from their office was thorough in explaining the process and set up all the appointments necessary with our condo association and made sure to reserve the elevators (one less thing for me to do).The installation was a four day process but Alex our installer was punctual clean and extremely helpful with any concerns we came across.We now functional closets that are amazing and beautiful!

Highly recommend. We worked with Derek - he showed up promptly, designed a system for us during the initial visit and a follow up that included all elements we were seeking. He even added a few nifty features we didnt consider. They showed up to install, Derek oversaw all aspects of the project and finished a timely install - no mess, quality work. We had a drawer bottom that came loss and a latch that stuck - Derek had them addressed immediately with no issue. Hands down quality product, quality design and workmanship.Derek is definitely a standout among his peers!Even better, being new to Miami, there was no Miami hustle - straightforward, honest folks that deliver what they promise, what they quoted and what we paid to receive. Martha helped us design multiple closets for non-standard spaces including an under the stairs closet, an entry-way triangular closet, an asymmetrical floor to ceiling den closet, and a bathroom closet. Carlos built the closets and made the vision a reality. Carlos did a great job correcting any issues with the original design. Mathew assisted us with any project issues along the way. We are very happy with the project. It looks awesome.

I got my master and guest room closets in my condo built out by Closet Factory, and designed by Derek Enriquez and had a wonderful experience. You could tell how much Derek truly cares about his clients and the quality of work/finished product was everything I had hoped for. Highly recommend Derek and Closet Factory!

If there would be negative stars, I would click on them a thousand times!! Absolutely terrible place!! Steer clear, you are being warned. Take your business elsewhere. Sales person came to my house, literally took our money and never saw her again!! Never got a follow up call from her. After she gain commission off of a nearly $7k job!! Took nearly 2 months to build a wall unit and 2 utility closets. The dimmer for the wall unit never worked. We went on a mission and called their office endless times to only always be told that management was in a meeting aka Eric, “the manager”. One of the drawers of the wall unit had a dent, which occurred during the installation process. Not to mention, they weren’t properly installed, hence the dent.... We were told they’d get the drawer replaced. We are still waiting. It is now May 2019 and we closed the deal with Closet Factory, December 2018!!! Absolute disaster!!!!!!!! Horrible!!!

I worked with Christine Gauger. We did a closet, shelves and a large home office, my only regret is that I didn’t meet her at the beginning of my project. My experience with Christine couldn’t have been better! She is very knowledgeable, gracious and accommodating person.

We love our closet! There were a couple of difficulties in the design but were resolved in a very professional manner by the Operations Manager Matthew Torres and the Design Manager Mariela. They really took the time to listen to our needs and made it possible. The installer Albert is an experienced and hard worker. We are very pleased with the results and recommend this company without hesitation!

Ordered closet . Scheduled date to disassemble and reassemble but asked us to hold parts in our home for 10 days . We said no and agreed to refund . Refund was never given. Horrible customer service would never recommend this ripoff company.

Closet factory out did our expectations. Our designer Athy at the beginning stage of our project was punctual, professional, and very knowledgeable. You can sense from the very beginning that this was a quality business. Our installer, Maxamino was phenomenal. Worked very clean, was very professional and polite and did a phenomenal job in the installation. We couldn’t be happier with our new pantry. Definitely would recommend Closet Factory!

I must say that our experience has been pretty good. A little bumpy from time to time, but, thats to be expected when your doing several units within a week in a home. Osmel & Juan installed Athyas design superbly. They were a great team, problem solvers, perfectionist and proffesional, customer satisfaction was evidently important to them. My only recommendaion would be, if by some chance there is a warehouse fabrication issue, dont let the management come up with an answer if you have the same team I did. Let Osmel, Juan and Athya handle it, trust me, it will work out much better. Thank you guys Ill be using you again.

My girlfriend and I were very happy and pleased with our closet. We had been without a closet for almost a year and got many quotes from different companies. The quotes were either too high and they companies knew nothing about designing. We met Athya on a weekend and she quickly came up with a design that was amazing. We made some changes so that the closet can fit our lifestyle. I was never stressed and Athya made our experience very pleasant. Our installer Albert did a great job installing our closet and pantry and paid attention to detail for a perfect install. He was very clean, careful and on time. Thank you Athya and Albert. We are very happy with our custom closet.

Ok in the beginning, terrible in the end.The design part was easy, the installation part started great but they NEVER FINISHED the project. Initial work quality was ok but then they started making mistakes and cutting corners trying to wrap the project up and became sloppy. It has been 4 weeks and I am still chasing after them begging them to complete. They pressure you into paying the final installment but then they disappear and feed you promises how they would get on it but so far nothing. Unacceptable for a large company to behave like that. TERRIBLE, cannot recommend.

Sooo happy with my new custom closets from this company. Martha came out quickly and within 24 hrs she had the 5 drawings of my closets. I chose the white basic closets and they look fantastic. Ive had many compliments so far and everything is very sturdy. Install was within 2 weeks.Side note:: make sure you dont have baseboards installed prior. I was not informed prior and paid for a contractor to install then they came and removed them so it was a waste of money.

I got 3 estimates. Closet factory was the most expensive, but I went with them anyway because I thought you get what you pay for. Wrong.The installation date was set and I was told it would be a 3 day job, starting on a Monday in early December 2016. The week before, they told me they were running behind schedule and wouldnt be able to come Monday, other than to deliver a couple of items. They were to start Tuesday and finish by Thursday. I could write a book about all the problems we had, but for the sake of brevity, Ill just list them here: The glass for one of the desktops did not come. There were drawers that were the incorrect size. Panels that didnt fit. We had very limited height on the desk to work with because we have a low hanging window. For this reason, we were supposed to use as much space as possible on the desk height, in order to give the legs room when in a sitting position. After installing the desk, i pointed out to them that they left about an inch below the window sill. It doesnt seem like much but we already had very little to work with. Plus, it wasnt like that in the plans. They had to redo that desk. The glass top for one of the desks still hadnt arrived. They inserted a couple of drawers that did not have the right fit and then had to break them off to remove them and redo that part of the other desk. When they started building the armoire and the bar, the installers inverted the design, so I had to let them know and then they switched it to the way it was supposed to be. Then the missing glass top came in for the desk, when they installed it, they cracked the glass on the OTHER desk. So now we had to replace the other glass too. After further inspection, the glass they had just brought in, I noticed it had a very obvious 2ft scratch that Im sure they saw, but didnt mention it. I had to call them back into the house before they left and pointed it out to them. They confirmed it and told me they would have to replace both glasses.By the time they finished the work, the 3 day installation had turned into a month. One month of me having to be here for the installers. Making sure I was home for them to come back in and out. Im not sure how many times they were here but I would say, for one reason or another, about 15 days. And every time they came, I would have to make arrangements, move or cancel meetings, clear my schedule for that time frame so I could attend to this, etc...They were very apologetic about the whole thing and offered to make it up to me. I suggested they build out a wall unit that I needed in my living room, at cost.The manager came by my house with the designer to measure the space and told me I would have a design ready soon. When they sent me the design, they told me that it would cost $7,500 and that for all my trouble, they would take $1,500 off the price. Now, we are talking about a wall unit for a TV. Two shelves and a cabinet. A couple of drawers. Thats it. They had just done my entire office for $10k. My office consists of 2 desks with glass tops, 3 glass doors, an armoire, 2 display cases, 13 shelves, 4 wood doors leading to more shelves. 4 inset LED lights. And a small walk-in closet. The cost for this was $10,500. This was already about $3,500 more expensive than my next most expensive quote. Were talking about an entire 11 x 11 room plus a closet. And they want to tell me that the wall unit for my TV would cost me $7,500 and as a courtesy to me for all my trouble, they would be willing to reduce that price to $6,000.Here is where I stopped being nice. The audacity of these people to take an opportunity to make it up to a client who has had to deal with their terrible service for over a month... instead of trying to do something good for the customer, they try to milk me for more money? The cost for them on that wall unit cannot be more than $1,000.I then told them i didnt want the wall unit. If they wanted to make it up to me they could credit the $1,500 to the original project. But now they dont want to credit me anything. Beware!

This company is definitely interested in making sure the customer is satisfied.
