The lady working the counter (tall blond haired lady) is extremely rude and should be fired. If a customer comes in you greet them with respect. I went to order a small ice cream and she gave a very rude remark to me in front of my child. She looked like she hated her job and was so rude I changed my mind and let her know we would not be ordering due to her rudeness.Godiva should have employees who have a smile on their face, greeting customer when they walk in and offering pleasant customer service. That is not currently happening at this location. We frequent Merrick Park often but will not come back to this Godiva store until a professional courteous person is hired.

Although the chocolate is really good, the staff at this location is extremely rude and paranoid regarding the Covid-19 situation. No sign advising the amount of people that can be inside the store, just an angry person yelling behind the counter to stay outside. Not the experience you expect at Merrick Park. Completely disappointed

I just dropped by this place today and Im eating my salt water taffy as i type this.The owner is super sweet, he lets you know about the free samples asap. He sells half a pound of anything for about $3.50. I recommend sticking to the salt water taffy cause its as good as the previous posts claim.

We love Godiva so much! The cashier wasnt to kill early helpful or friendly at this good diver but we were very happy to have some chocolates and bought a Box of Christmas chocolate on sale that was delicious! The chocolates dont seem to be the same as when I was a child I wonder if their manufacturing good diver in the United States now as opposed to importing like they used to 50 years ago, the quality of the agregious is not as good as it used to be or as it is in Europe.

I can still remember my first time getting anything from godiva. While their prices arent really low, its still somewhat affordable. It depends on what you want. I always get the truffles. I usually get about 3 and use my rewards card to get a free one. That usually runs me about $9. Something like that. I know you can buy bars from the grocery store but I prefer the truffles from the actual store. You can mix and match so thats a plus.

The best thing about this place is my wife face on departure after item sampled and purchased has been ingested.. smilesA happy wife is a happy wife...

Place many orders with Godiva online, none of the orders where being sent, so I called the company. The customer rep. told me that the packages where being loaded on the truck as I was speaking on the phone with the rep. So I waited and some of the packages where sent but not all. I called again after 4 days of seeing nothing moving online and was told ...Oh sorry for the delay, but we havent ship it out as yet. What BAD SERVICE. I know its the holidays but there is no need to LIE. Dont believe I will be buying from them again because I wanted the package to be sent for THIS CHRISTMAS.

In reading the reviews, it appears some people just dont get that Godiva doesnt sell snickers. Godiva is expensive and it is wonderful. If you are shopping for cheap chocolate try CVS.Store was great!

Due to location I have come to this GODIVA store at Merrick Park three times already. The gentleman that is usually on shift has no sense of good customer service whatsoever.Last time I was there I asked for an extra tissue paper for chocolate covered straberries and there was a charge if I really wanted to take the tissues. Today, I came to get 3 ice cream cones and asked for 3 paper cups since the ice cream would melt as soon as I would step out of the store, immediately I am presented once again with prices for the additional 3 paper cups -really!?- for something that should be complementary since I am already making a purchase at the store.Its just not the treatment I would expect at a Godiva store, much less at The Shops of Merrick Park in the Gables...

Purchased chocolate gift boxes here on three occasions and the chocolates have been old. The chocolate has a hazy film which indicates old product. Buy the chocolate in the case or buy it somewhere else.
