Used to be a good place to grab a bagel, but last few months have been consistently bad. Simple order each time BEC on toasted bagel and well done egg, bacon and you get complete garbage. I cant call it anything else bc it lands there each time. Bagel not toasted, egg white not done and bacon far from well. Been giving it a chance so many times, being a store in my neighborhood. But i am done, if you dont care what you give your customers you should just close the door.

A little more expensive than other delis in the area but its worth it. The bagels are made fresh in the building and they know how to properly season the food

The bagels are delish but the service is lacking. It took two people to serve one customer while 3 other employees lingered near the kitchen. My sandwich was good but, again, poor counter service that day. When I asked where to place my order, the woman told me, Here up front, but were helping this person, so... O.K. I may try them again because they are on my route, but I wont expect fast service and will plan to wait for chatting employees to finish yheir conversation.

Waited pretty long to even have my order taken. They were taking and making orders one at a time which I thought was odd and lead to a huge line forming. The bagel was okay but absolutely drenched in butter and cream cheese.

Got me a sausage, egg,cheese home fries on roll w pepper it was delicious thx u to the ladys who helped me

Best breakfast, at very reasonable prices, bagels and rolls are ALWAYS fresh. daily business meetings are often, as there are tables and chairs. there is also limited outdoor dining, if so desired. Randy our Host is very personable, and his Tuna salad, and Lox Spread is the Best. Coffee u ask?? Unfortunately I have to give this place a bad review. I live down the block from this place and I will have to find a different bagel place. Every single time I order from here, I don’t get what I ordered. I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich on a roll with lettuce and mayo and they never give it to me that way. I just ordered today again and the same thing happened. Not sure why or how they can always get my order wrong. Tried to call back to tell them and I got placed on hold for 7 min so I hung up. Not good.

Id give less if possible. This place is an absolute dump. And the service is terrible. The staff is more involved with giggling and chatting than helping customers...even though there was only 3 customers in the entire store...during lunch. Thats very telling. Oh and my sandwich was made wrong. Im sure theyll be out of business soon. Good riddance.

The absolute best bagel place in Southwest Suffolk. Absolutely wonderful staff. No matter how busy it gets the staff always has a smile and is happy to help move it along quickly. Lots of people have been there working for a decade plus - the wonderful ladies that open weekday mornings namely are absolutely wonderful. I sometimes stop in for a breakfast sandwich just to get a smile and a warm welcome to the morning from these wonderful women; everyone that works there is simply terrific.Also, I have never ever found them to be understaffed. I find them to be very busy at times - for good reason... why settle for less than the best?! The short wait is worth it. They couldn’t fit another employee back there weekend mornings, and the ones that work during that weekend morning rush are always consistently effective, kind and efficient, which I believe is a reflection of outstanding ownership (don’t think I had to pleasure of meeting the owner yet, but he or she runs a terrific retinue of folks who make bagelman THE place to be from egg sandwiches to chicken salad - I can’t get enough of bagelman.My absolute favorite place to get food in the neighborhood. The BEST!Edit- just read some of the one star reviews. I am cracking up. These people clearly were having a bad day or Re mistaking bagelman for another place. They are absolutely the best. Anyone who has complained doesnt know what they are talking about. Kindness goes both ways and when you are barking orders at someone, it doesnt help solve anything. The bagels are fresh and they use a technique which gives the bagels that extra crisp and glaze on the outside. Everyone there has been more than helpful and will even throw in a discount every now and then. If you would like a genuine New York bagel, come here then!

I would go to another bagel store, the women behind the counter ( long brown hair ) was extremely nasty as well as not all that bright. I had to explain things to her 4 or 5 times. I ended up just walking out and going to South Shore Bagels.

This is a clean store with fresh hot bagels, sandwiches and wraps. Nice quality food all around but the service is not on par with the rest of the place. Long waits are normal. You can eat there or take it to go.

This is by far the worst bagel place to go to.Eggs always seem so greasy for whatever reason and their service is horrendous. Dont be rude to people when they want to order breakfast at 8 am.At least they can make coffee properly.

Bagels are some of the best on Ling Island. Staff works hard but seems understaffed and this leads to slow service.

Best egg sandwiches in Suffolk

This place is alright, hit or miss in my opinion. I came here for the first time in the early morning and got two sandwiches (made by an older man behind the counter) with free sides of cole slaw and they were great! I had high hopes for this place. I came back again a few weeks later in the early am and got the same two sandwiches (this time made by a younger girl behind the counter) and they did NOT taste the same. They seemed like half the size from the first time I got them and she didnt offer a free side salad. Also my biggest pet peeve and why I probably wont be back.. they have a tip jar on the counter by the register. I work in the service industry and I put money into the tip jar, the younger lady saw me with my hand near it and took it away off the counter as if I was taking money out of it. Such a shame.. I walked away the second time with mediocre sandwiches and felt almost shamed for giving them a tip. Id rather go to Wellwood Bagels.

Really good bagels, the line gets long though and seems like it goes really slow and always a long wait. Ive been there multiple times and theyve ran out of bagels too, not even late around 11am

Could have been kinder on the amount of ketchup but if that my only gripe, oh yeah put napkins on bags for take out

Awful, awful service. At least 5 or 6 workers were behind the counter just shuffling around. They were not doing any real work (wrapping dishes, cream cheese, meats, cleaning counters, etc.) just talking and walking back and forth. Watched a worker snap at an elderly man whose order was not correct and proceed to tell him that he, the customer, was wrong. Literally waited 20 minutes without service and walked out, truly a poor experience.

Service is the worst.!! You can stand there forever while the girls/women working there just keep to themselves and continue with there conversation.in the far left corner. Also they are more concerned emptying there tip jar than taking your order.As far as the bagels. Most of the time they are over cooked borderline burnt.Funny thing is you can order the same thing ten different times and ten different times the price is different.

Been going to Bagelman since it opened. But sadly the service over the past few years has steadily declined. I went this morning and finally decided Ill never go back. I waited on a line with roughly 5 people for over 10 minutes and ended up just walking out. Sadly Im done with the place. Ill go back when theres a new owner with renewed drive for the business.

The worst staff ever, this only means the OWNER DOES NOT CARE about this place. They never know how to answer the phone & then you get a voicemail saying leave a message. When staff finally ask to help you, it could take up to 20mins to get your food, add another 10mins to that wait on the weekend. To top all this the food is just ok & the bagels are nothing to talk about.

I was buying bagels this morning while in Copiague. The young girl was being extremely rude to an older lady that seemed to have a disorder. I was very upset and told the cashier to treat her better and that I wasnt pleased with how the lady was being treated. The young lady and another cashier, young kid, started making fun of me. They have no idea who this old lady is, maybe she has PTSD, and they have no idea who I am either.Please, if anyone buys from this business becareful. They dont know how to treat their customers!

TERRIBLE SERVICE. I was standing there for 15mins with out being helped, there was atleast 5 employees behind the counter doing various things, and no one helped me. I said excuse me at least 3 times and the employees would just pretend not to hear me, until I made it very clear that I needed help, and was told that I dont take orders, but someone will be with you shortly I just left with out placing an order after 15mins. Horrible

Tried this place a few times...Crappy bagles for a place called Bagleman. Nasty woman that works the counter saw me waiting to order, but decided to have a conversation with her friend. I was the only person on line. I waited a few minutes....when she finally asked me what I needed, I just said nevermind and walked out. Never went back.
