If I could give more stars I would. This is probably the best and friendliest people I have ever worked with from the guys washing boats to Scott the owner. I worked with Scott when I bought my boat and he gave me a super great deal. After the sale he has been great he was not only a great guy to deal with but has become a great friend. I would highly recommend them no matter how far you have to travel to get their it will be worth the trip.

Recently purchased a pre-opened Mercury outboard from Brian at Y-Marina. They were all very friendly to work with and had the motor all shined up and ready to go when I arrived for pick up. Overall a good experience, however they were not the best at answering most of my questions which is why I knocked off a star. They took a few weeks to get back to me on a few simple questions, and some never were answered even when I was told specific times/dates they’d have the answers for me. They also couldn’t answer the questions even when I went into purchase at a set time, so I’m assuming they just didn’t get around to it (had over 3 weeks to find out). That being said, I know it’s a busy time of the year, so I’ll cut some slack. But as someone who owns a business myself, there is definitely room for improvement in regards to communication. Overall though, happy with the motor, seems to run well. Nice store, and friendly staff.

The first week of May. My outboard motor was hit by a car while I was waiting to make a turn. The insurance agency said they had to receive a estimate of damage before they could start in insurance process. I took the boat to my local boat dealer. They said it was the busy time of the year and it would be two weeks before they could even look at the motor. I then took the boat to the Y Marina. In less than a hour. Buzz the service manager. Looked at the motor and gave me the information I needed to start my insurance claim. During the repairs. Buzz and his wife Jenifer have been a wonderful team. They both have helped me with every step of the repairs. The Y Marina is now my boat dealer.

I bought a very nice 24 foot Bayliner Classic the people at Y MARINA were Awesome and Very nice and eager to work with me and my schedule and I would highly recommend them to anybody that wanted to be treated like a loyal customer I would send anybody I knew to them to buy a boat and if I ever want to buy another boat I would check with them first, two thumbs up I just cant say enough about Y Marina Inc!!!!!👍👍

I took my drift boat into Y Marina for annual servicing and to have them look at the motor as it had been having issues. They were able to replace the motor and seats and complete some general maintenance. They took the time to explain the issues and gave me options for the repairs and replacements. They also took the time to explain the new equipment to me. The service was fabulous and I will definitely be going back for any future boating needs.

We purchased our boat back in the spring. We live in the Portland area so it was quite a trek to get out there. The sales person we worked with was very helpful and friendly. After a few weeks of owning the boat we started to experience issues. They continued for most of the summer. After multiple attempts at getting it fixed we took it into Stevens Marine who identified the issue. Unfortunately it was going to be over $3K to get it all done. I decided to contact the dealership and spoke with Mike the sales manager just to voice my concern not really expecting anything in return. Mike was empathetic and understanding, after a few days he contacted me back and said they would help with the repair. Knowing when you buy something used it is as is, I was not expecting this. This dealership and its staff went above and beyond for us and I will try to continue to go back to them for my future boat needs no matter how far I live away. I would recommend anyone else to do the same. Very impressed with their customer service in a time when customer service seems to always take a back seat to making $$. Thank you to Mike and the ownership of Y Marina. You have earned a customer for life.

Very friendly staff, had a great conversation with the owner when I first called. So I wanted to leave them a good review, but unfortunately I cannot.My experience buying a new Arima here:-Never once received a returned email or phone call. Ok, theyre busy.-Very limited knowledge of the boats and advice given during purchase was poor. Literally every single question I asked had to be forwarded to factory, was answered incorrectly, or not at all.-Battery supplied by dealer was placed in compartment next to installed battery tray. Got home from 4 hour drive to realize it doesnt fit in the tray so they just tossed it in there. Damaged the compartment shifting around.-Spent money on a new prop as included prop was nowhere close to achieving correct RPMs at WOT-Boat was not cleaned or detailed in any way. Still had a few stains and residue from factory production.-The boat had a few issues from the factory, I received zero support from Ymarina after phone calls and emails.I got the boat that I ordered and that is about where it ends. After contacting Ymarina 4 separate times after purchase with no response, I gave up.

2019 21’ North River I purchased in 2020. Nice boat and got a good price.Paid top dollar for poor labor and substandard parts!No Manuel’s or keys for the storage areas until I called Owner 6 months laterShoddy work on installing 9.9 Kicker w/ controls. Left metal shaving inside Transom on and around batteries. Large scratches where drill bit “Jumped” as they attempted to drill hole for control cables. No sleeve on jagged hole or on cable to motor.Failed to turn in paperwork for boat license until I called Owner when my Temps expired. Found paperwork on a desk 6 months later!My Trailer was licensed to another guy whose trailer was one number different. Even DMV missed that one.Y Marine always blamed “Covid 19”.Failed to bolt Kicker to transom, an industry standard and put a substandard steering bar on motors that rusted badly!You can’t make this stuff up!Best part of all, keep calling me to come in for routine Maintenance!!!!!!There’s more, but I think I made my point!

Put the wrong fish finder in.You would think guys who work on boats would know how to put a boat on a trailer. Not impressed 😕

They were ready to make the sale, had the 115 outboard still in the crate. They had all the accessories in stock such as a prop and tach. Pricing was competitive with quotes from around the state.

Not real impressed with the level of service at this place. It was very difficult to nail down the pricing to repower my boat. On top of that they only had one outboard in the horse power I needed. The sales rep advised I had to wait two days before he could even tell me if he could sell it to me. Apparently his manager was out of town and he was not empowered to sell the motor without his approval. Went across the street and got a much better deal and exemplary service

Me an my wife drove up from Los Angeles to pick up our boat in January 2021. Over all a good experience. Most of the guys were really helpful. Financing was going to be supposedly difficult for unknown reason on a Saturday but fortunately we had another option for the boat we choose which is good since we drove so far to get a boat. There are few things I wish would have happened differently but as I said all in all a good experience thanks guys

After looking for months and months for just the right boat my search found me calling Y Marina. A little hesitant at first...just for the reason I live in the Columbia Gorge (5 1/2 hours away) from the dealership. However, it was the boat I was looking for...23 Alumaweld Columbia. I emailed the Dealership and Chris(the Salesman) promptly returned my inquiry. I spoke with Chris and later with Mike(the Manger) to my delima of being so far away and was really looking for an HONEST opinion of the boats condition and if the value of the asking price was really there. Let me tell you what...with the upmost sincere, honesty and professionalism of our conversations I chose to make the drive to look at the boat. I got there, they greeted me and took me to the boat. BOY did they deliver everything they said. The boat was exactly as they described and met every expectation I had from what I could see. Purchased a “New to Me” 22’ North River Seahawk in the Summer of 2020. I found my boat online and it was exactly what I was looking for. The only problem it was located several hours away and I knew I wouldn’t be able to get down to look at it to confirm that’s “the boat” buying a boat online is like proposing marriage based on a dating website. You need to know what your getting into.Got in touch with Chris, the salesman and started working out the details, Chris is a ten of guy. He’s laid back and doesn’t give off the pushy sales pitch. He was super helpful, respectful, and earnest. This was a totally different experience compared to other places I had shopped and other boats I had looked at. Chris, keep it up. You’re awesome.After making a trip down there it, I confirmed that was the boy I wanted to purchase. Debbie was great in taking care of the paperwork.I had to return back down about a week later for the water test and pick up. Kurt took me out for the water test. That guys has forgotten more about boats than I know. He was patient and helpful in walking through the boat. During the water test a minor glitch was discovered, I brought this up with the sales manager, Mike And was overly impressed with how he handled the last minute things.The entire experience was great. This is truly a class act operation and it shows with every single person you interact with. I hope this is “The Boat” and I’m not in the market again for a very long time, I would encourage my closest friends and family to purchase a boat from here. Keep up the great work.

Wish I could could give more than 5 stars.....Hubby and I just retired and bought our dream boat from Y Marina in Coos Bay. A 22 Defiance Admiral 220EX. We worked with Paul George, he was amazing!!! He was patient with all our questions (which were MANY) and very knowledgeable. He was always available by text, email or phone (my hubby texted him all the time). He made sure we had everything we needed to outfit our boat to do the kind of fishing we want to do. Debbie was great to work with and helped us secure financing. Sean installed all our electronics expertly and in the time quoted!!! (We had another boat and the guy who installed the very expensive electronics took months to get it installed and it never worked right) Kurt calibrated everything for us.....he ran into an issue with the lowerance unit (it was a lowerance issue) but he never gave up till it all worked perfectly. Mike made sure we were well taken care of.We cant thank everyone at Y Marina enough.Dan & Cassi

Im writing this review after several months of use of my purchase from y Marina. I went from a drift boat to a smokercraft pro Alaskan . I looked for almost a year hesitant on pulling the trigger. I wanted something reliable as I usually have kids fishing in the boat with me. I was also looking for a good deal new or used. So when I saw a boat that looked like something that would fit that bill I went to y Marina. Thats where I met Bubba. He was excellent, easy to talk to and pointed me in the right direction. He even went out of his way to give my toddler son some snacks to keep him entertained. Upon purchase I voiced a concern with the boat and he immediately got on the phone and assured me if there were any problems y Marina would take care of us. I purchased a used boat this time but next time I will be purchasing a new boat from y Marina . We have used the boat at least 15 time since purchase a few months ago. The minute I walked in I was greeted by a genuinely hospitable guy next door type. I am retired 76 and a self proclaimed artist, and dont know a thing about boats other than the old cliche Boats are a Bottomless Pit. He heard my search diatribe from Northern Idaho, Washington, and to many points to mention. I was looking for something I could genuinely enjoy for relaxation, and travel to vacation destinations such as Lake Powell or Lake Mead, Tahoe, etc. I wanted something with all the safety features and features for ease such as an electric trailer wench, a custom mechanical anchor, lights, two way radios, Radar, Sonar,After I learned that the good guy I was talking to was Scott Lancaster the owner.Scott immediately trying to save me money and meet my criteria sent me to his other location in Florence, Oregon, where I met George Pagel. George introduced me to a year old new Hews 22 Ocean Pro. He again, the total opposite from the USED CAR salesman type pointed me to the good products I should have. and not something that was to much! For instance I wanted 250 HP outboards. George said I only needed a 200 plus a 9.5 kicker. I would have gladly put 2 250s on. This was the same for many things he saved me money on by being practical. He also responded to my need for a custom tarp that fit over the entire back section behind the sealed cockpit? (right nomenclature?) I could go on but I felt so trusting of George and Scott that I again added more safety items in case I got in trouble on the water. After the boat was moved to Y-Marina in Coos Bay I delegated one of Scotts associates, Kurt, to add many things that I felt were needed as suggested by him. to top it off, I had a medical problem and could not pick the boat up until June, I had bought it in February and they were so good as to store it for me under those conditions. II have nothing but praise for these trustworthy personnel at Y-Maina

We had a wonderful experience with Y Marina in Coos Bay Oregon.There were no high pressure salespeople and everyone at Y Marina was fun, friendly & knew a lot about boats, insurance and equipment (they even treated our dog like family).When we picked out our boat they took us out on the bay for a ride with lots of explanations about the boat, fish finder, even pointed out some good places to fish & crab.If anyone is shopping for a boat, boating supplies, or needs mechanical support, without hesitation, we recommend starting with Y Marina. Excellent customer service which is the most important part of any company in my opinion. No customer service means no business from me. I bought a boat here as many other happy customers have. Wish I was closer but well worth the 2.5 hour drive. The boat I bought was used and they went through everything to ensure I was getting something that was in the best shape possible.

Y Marina is the best boat dealer I Have ever worked with. Honest, loyal and Straight Shooters are the descriptions that come to mind when I think of Y Marina. I have referred everyone I know when the conversation turns to boat dealers. When they say something you can take it to the bank. If they cant do something, like, have your boat ready on a certain day, they tell you. Rather than most dealers who promise you what ever you ask for then deliver what ever they want or can. Its always better to know than to hope. I can say enough good things about this company and thats a shame. They are the only boat company Ive had this kind of experience and Ive been into boating for 50 years. Wandering into their store one day was my good fortune. I live 120 miles away so its not the most convenient but I think my wife would leave me if I ever went back to any of the local stores for service or a purchase. These guys are the greatest I called Y-Marine Mike Carr answered I beat around the bush on the boat and motor I was looking for. He asked to give him two days he would have it. He called me two days later..I went down an looked at it WOW it was better than I thought great boat..Even if you dont buy one the whole employee staff will look and treat you like your are there best friend. Scott is great too haha he is a character..Just love these people an place, huge inventory if its not there they will make it happen in couple days..I highly recommend Y-Marine for your future boating experience..Brad

Drove all the way from Sacramento to purchase our new Yamaha 115 to..dealt with Bubba over the phone for purchase..spoke with Jessie and Debbie for credit app...Robert seems to be the boat whisperer ..even took us out to show us how to operate the new motor..everything went great with a few glitches but was quickly resolved. Was definitely worth the 12 hour drive to save $$, catch crab and deal with awesome people!! Would definitely recommend ..

I was able to purchase a used boat on consignment with the Y Marina. I was impressed with the fact that they throughly went through the boat and trailer including a test run on the water prior to me picking up the boat. There professional thourghness and excellent communication by Aaron Orchard (sales associate) was very much appreciated. Looking forward to catching a bunch of fish this next year!

Saw a new posting for boat they took in trade. Emailed to get additional information and pictures of engine compartment. Most of sales staff were gone to boat show so owner (manager) took care of my request. No delay, wait a day or run around; pictures and information were received within the hour. Great service. Boat sold before I could take a look, but Ill continue to check their web site.

The staff was very knowledgeable and courteous. All repairs and installations were done in a timely manner with no surprises. While I hope my need for future boat or motor repairs isnt any time soon if the need arises Y Marina would be my first choice.
