I got grocery pickup here because they had food items that are friendly for my diet. When I arrived, I was told that someone else had already picked up my order of $200+ worth of groceries. The staff were super apologetic and helpful but it was gone. Someone with a similar name had taken it.I was given a $20 gift card & they said that they will be able to process a refund tomorrow. So I spent another hour and a half getting my groceries. SO frustrating to find that there was no dairy free half & half and someone out there has mine in their car.I feel like every employee I came in contact with was so kind and helpful & I wish I had asked for names so I could share the names of these awesome people.I sure hope the system gets updated so that the pickups require ID’s or better verification.

I asked if a store worker if she knew where to find a certain item (dryer lint hose) and her response was Not a Clue... and kept on walking. Lowes has thorough training apparently. And no Ive never worked either

NEVER. I repeat NEVER do a grocery pickup at Cookeville Walmart. My order was supposed to be ready at 2:00. Its is now 3:48, and I am still sitting here waiting because my order is not yet been brought out. I could have already done grocery shopping myself at this point. Did I mention I have a 3 year old and a 9 year old with me fighting. If I could give no stars I would. .

This is a good place to do all your shopping. Oil changes,consumer/household goods, Pharmacy, Groceries, Subway its a good Walmart. ok its a Super Walmart and this one has the most friendly people working their. Someone is always close by to help you with the do it yourself check out.I dont care for self check out. I dont think they have lowered the prices to compensate me for checking myself out. Like other big box stores with few or no self checkout. They seem to be priced in lock step with the others.

You know what would make shopping here easier? Hand baskets...which theyve taken away. You want 5 things? Fine you get a cart. You want 7 things ? You get a cart.

Always clean and associates are all so friendly

A little difficult getting into location and traffic is heavy. I noticed lots of carts and carts had lots of garbage in them. The store was clean and easy to get to items. Many shelves bare but we went later in the day. Checkout was quick and several lanes open as well as self checkout. Overall, a good experience. If they could get the sporting good section stocked and kept stocked, that would be great! God bless America! Semper fi!

Brand new Walmart. They were out of a few products but otherwise it was well stocked. The sales clerks were very helpful. I recommend this store.

Good store. Clean with friendly staff. The only reason this store doesnt get a 5-star rating simply comes down to the limited selection of goods. Often, if you get used to a certain brand or type of a particular product, this store will cease to have it sometimes.

This maintenance man carlos is one of the only person that I can acknowledge that actually does his job and gets pulled to do jobs that is not his im disappointed in walmart but him and all associates all giving there best he deserves better than base pay honestly.

I live in cookeville although i prefer algood walmart for groceries!!! More stocked store and cleaner nicer workers and better crowd of customers, need to keep up on stock though and of the over the counter supply of meds and vitamins and ect.. at that end both Cookevile and algood run low on that. if looking for house hold and or clothes the cookeville store has a better selection and more different styles than algood. All in all i love Walmart and the great value brands. They are less carbs less sugar les junkie ingredients better products and a much better taste and way better pricing. I don’t t shop for groceries anywhere else other than farmers market in town

Its the better stocked Walmart in the area. Its still a little dingy and overcrowded. But I was able to find everything I need at this Walmart.

Along with all this, they have some of the Best Customer Service around. They take credit, debit, and cash. Please have your receipt for any returns, date and $$ amount are very important. They do inforce security and offer masks & sanitizer for your protection. Handicap services are available. Just remember You Always Have A Friend At Walmart... HAPPY SHOPPING!!

This is for the Cookeville walmart. Nothing is ever stocked there. Pallets in the way. The young boy that helped me look for something was amazing. He did go out of his way to help. I wish I got his name and I wish Cookeville had a target.

Messy, over crowded, you can never find an associate to help you and when you do find an associate you have to wait for them to find someone else.

Always have been a big fan of Walmart super centers. Good for any occasion big or small. Concerned about the seasonal changes. Plenty room in-between the isles for the social distancing and shopping as well. Even with the parking lot full outside the check-out counters were not backed up due to insufficient staff or staff underhand. Plenty choice in whatever it is you find the need for. Nice to have plenty room in the isles. Merry merry Christmas Walmart and all you staff. Great job!

Wal-mart is just hard to beat. You can find almost everything that a person would commonly need all in 1 place. And at a good price.

Seems like shelves and selection are always low. I have found if they are out of an item they fill the space with items that do not go in the space just to show shelves fuller. They need to leave the space empty and order the correct item need!! Produce needs to be check as I always find molded food with fresh food. When we tell them of this they have told us that checking produce is not there Job!! This is so wrong!!But the pharmacy is the best!! They truly care about people..

Been coming here when in the area for years. Always find something. I am the type of dude that likes to visit Walmarts in each town I travel through.

My wife and I was there tonight and we went to self scan and we was talking and didnt realize that an item didnt ring up so it stopped us from going further. No problem until employee made us feel like a criminal by watching our every move. We paid with a card and we had a thousand dollars in our pocket so go figure. I wanted to tell that twirp off!!! He made us feel very uncomfortable. Like they never make a mistake. Screw that WalMart. Between him and not a very good stock we will never go to that one again!!!!!

Shoppers are parking in the pharmacy pick up designated spaces. All seniors dont want to go in you store. You make people wear masks ever after we have had the shot. Either stop the mask sir stop the shots. For god sake stop the shoppers from parking in the pickup lane. Over reacting on one under reciting on the other.

This Walmart is always busy. Opening at 7 am and closing at 11 pm it has self check outs as well as regular ones. There is also grocery pick up so if you are really busy you dont have to get out of your car. There is also a couple of parking spots for people who are picking up prescriptions. You dont have to get out of your car for those either. Use your Walmart app to find things, refill your prescription, get photos on your phone developed. You can even get vaccines. Masks are required but not mandatory. People have told me they pass other Wal-Marts to shop here.

Prefer this one to the one in Cookeville. Not as crowded, cleaner.

I like getting my groceries online and picking them up when ready. And they have most of the time good substitutions. And the people are friendly when bringing out the griceries.

I think this is the best choice for Walmart. we have three stores within 30 mins of us and like this one.

Who doesnt love Wal-Mart?! You can find just about everything you need here, from fishing equipment, things for your car, personal items for the gals, pets supplies, fabric, beads, jewelry- fine & costume, meds, home goods, clothes, shoes & so much more! Plus, when you use the app, you can have things delived. I must warn you though, smaller things such as eye drops & feminine products, and make-up items dont always get delivered, so be careful what you order. Its a miserable process to get it all worked out.

Todays order (including freezer and refrigerator items) was delivered NOT at my address. There is apparently NO way to contact Algood Walmart to find out where the order...so I guess Im supposed to get in my car and drive around the neighborhood to look for my stuff...provided its IN my neighborhood.Trying to get in with a human at the Algood Walmart is a nightmare!!! Apparently they are busy today. Wow!! Isnt how retail establishments are SUPPOSED to be???

Once again having to leave Walmart because theres no electronic buggies for older people theres 2 of them sitting there broken and none to get on how many times have I come here and had to leave because there wasnt no electronic buggies you all need to buy some more.

Thought my husbands meds was at this pharmacy, but lady said it wasnt there. She looked to see if any other Walmart pharmacies had it, and was told she couldnt find it. I called myself to another Walmart and it was there. I had already gotten back in touch with the dr. office, was just waiting on them to ask dr. and get back with me, so this was a little aggravating, but it worked out.

Seems my Walmart experience is probably true to all Walmarts, room to shop then its the task of finding open registers. That is typical of Walmart.

Having 2 Walmarts in Putnam county, is very convenient. Im closer to the Cookeville location, but the extra few miles to the Algood Walmart, on Main, is always worth it. The Algood store, is by far neater and more stocked, definitely cleaner (sanitized buggies, self check & pos machine) restrooms and overall store inside and out. The associates and management at Algood, are always very friendly and helpful, they all make my 1-3 times a week shopping there enjoyable. CMA Greg and grocery stock fellas are the great! Great employees and clean store

Walmart in Crossville TN is the worst. Rude employees and they never have what you need or sale products and refuse to order things. Theyll tell you to go online and order it yourself if you want it. I drive all the way to algood TN WalMart.

Hate this place. Lately everytime go there it is always something I need and leave without it. I end up going to other places to find what I need. Example: this week I needed clothes baskets the tall stand up kind. All they had on the shelf is 1 and it was fancy with wheels and expensive. I only wanted something simple. Then the other choices was 3 different regular clothes baskets. The shelves was empty all the way down the isle no totes either. If they had these things in another location, oh well. I am not walking all over BFI to find them. I suspect they are having trouble keeping store stocked due to the tensions with China since Biden is in office. This is what happens people when China is your biggest supplier. I am done with freaking Walmart (all Walmart stores) you cant get everything you go in for anymore.

Not enough help on floors. The worst is you think by changing everything around that shoppers will like that. Trust me your losing more customers because a woman remembers where & what she needs. Goes & gets it. If she passes something that draws her attention she will most likely buy it. But by making the shopper hunt & hunt & cant even find a floor person to ask. By this time the shopper wishes she went somewhere else. Your prices for most part are fair. But I find higher popular stores like Publix & Krogers may be a few cents higher but their dates are not run out in 1 say. The fruit does not rot in about 3 days. And a smart shopper goes to the back of the line of food for a longer date. Just sayin. You should leave everything where it is & hire more floor people to be available to help. Its not like Wal-Mart cant afford it.

Everytime I go in for an oil change they always take it upon themselves to check out everything under the hood. They have changed air filter and wipers without me asking.

I drive all the way from Sparta to come to this store because it’s the best locally. Tonight changed my mind. Register #4 on 12/27/20 at 745. I stood in like for 15 min and the lady decided to close after the person in front of us after waiting for the 15 minutes in that line because they only had 2 regular registers open. We were forced to go to the self checkout and touch the system during a pandemic and they aren’t cleaning then between uses.

I like that I never have a long wait to check out. And everyone has always been friendly and eager to assist.

Zach in the canning goods isle was SUPER DUPER helpful in helping me to find non-GMO creamed corn. Its a very specific request, and he was busy working before I approached him, but he was super nice about it, unlike most people at stores while stocking.Edit: Christy, an older cashier, was super sweet too!

We got two tires from Walmart online and had them put on at the Algood Walmart about a week later one was going down I took them back to have it checked said the tire was no good but wouldnt replace the bad tire said that I should not drive with it but wouldnt do anything because we got them from Walmart online and sent me and two of my grandkids away on the bad tires

I called 3 times in a row to speak with an associate and nobody picked up. The phone would ring roughly 7 minutes each time before automatic hang up. Thats 21 minutes of phone calls with no one picking up the telephone. I called before noon till after noon on 1/26/2021. This is idiotic. I called to ask a simple question so I wouldnt have to drive there to ask. This is nonsense.

Algood Walmart: open since 2004, it’s a Great store because of the great people that have worked hard to make it and keep it that way. It’s an incredibly challenging task considering the thousands of customers shopping here every day. Great Job!

Worth the trip from Sparta even though there is a Wal-Mart there. They usually have exactly what Im looking for and when they do not they always have an acceptable alternative. Whomever is responsible for standardization in this areas Wal-Marts needs to use the employees at the Cookeville store and train the horrible associates that work in Sparta.

Found everything in the store as needed. The only thing that was messed up was that I paid for bags if ice and as I was walking out to get them they only had a few bags and they was melted with only halfway filled of ice.

They had only 3 registers opened unless you wanted scan and go. When I finally complained, the young man did not know where the manager was but if he saw her he would tell her. While still in the line three ladies come out and one of the females what up and said I still cant open 2 because they are broke. On Thanksgiving week. One if the busiest weeks of the year and they werent prepared. I heard one of the ladies tell the woman oh youre in trouble now. Total disrespect for the customer.
