Almost always a line and a long wait on they phone. No one knows how to look up a pharmacy phone number there. Transferring a prescription is considered a courtesy and the customer should be appreciative. At least that is what I was told.

Love how the staff leaves you on hold. You clearly know your the next up in line from the automated a.i. but the staff will pick up replace the hold several times before finally hanging up on you. And every time it happens its a female employee but judging by how many time I back to back called I would say the manager must be in on this complete lack of customer service. Sad thing is im just trying to pick up some medicine what a horrible place to have bad employees seriously just increasing pain on people. Please fire everyone whos in charge of phones start fresh.

Seriously would give this place 0 stars if I could. The drive thru is meant to be for a convenience so that you don’t have to wait. The fact that I have been waiting to pick up for over 30 minutes now is ridiculous. Don’t even try to call the pharmacy, you will be placed on hold over and over.

I called the pharmacy department to ask if they could help with setting up a flu clinic. I was placed on hold for a few minutes and when I got through, the phone only rung with no one picking up. After it rang for a few minutes, they hung up.

I heavily recommend making a vaccination appointment anywhere except this place. Your time is of no concern to them, nor is your safety of contracting Covid as everyone else visiting the pharmacy around you has no mask on. Im extremely disappointed I chose this location. Over 10 minutes of waiting (after checking in) to finally receive the paperwork to fill out prior to my 2nd vaccine.

When the telephone number was put in, it seemed they started a new account and not using the points weve already aquired. Our land line has more than one person in the house and its not right to ask to choose one person in the house. One should not have to take a test at the register, answering many questions that are in small print and not readable without a microscope.

Great pharmacy staff! Due to COVID our doctors office was closed so we had to do a virtual doctors appointment and had to pick some medications from the pharmacy. The pharmacist Jon really helped my wife and I find some medications to help our son who was feeling really sick. We definitely will be coming back to this pharmacy in the future.

I advised the cashier that there was a coupon for the item I purchased. He then called for a price check. The manager (I assume) came and asked was there a coupon for the item which I replied yes. She then proceeded to tell me I should have let the cashier know about the coupon because they are not aware of the coupons. First thing, I would not know what an employee knows or does not know, second I DO NOT WORK FOR WALGREENS, and third I had told him there was a coupon thats the reason he called for a price check (right). The employee did not know how to do his job and search for the coupon so he called for a price check and the manager reprimanded me for it.

The pharmacy here is horrible you call and wait 30 mins just to get a cost on your prescription then you get to pick it up another 45 mins wait and it’s only one car in front of you if you go in it’s a line of ppl waiting what’s going on Walgreens hire more ppl

Came into Walgreens yesterday and it was extremely busy but the staff was extremely helpful and kind. My wife and I waited for our immunizations and the pharmacist, John, was very professional and knowledgeable. He answered all our questions and concerns about getting vaccinated during COVID.

This is my favorite Walgreens and I always shop here! I wasn’t feeling well so I came in to the pharmacy to ask for some help finding medications. The pharmacist working today was extremely nice and he was very helpful! There are always two sides to every story so don’t always believe everything the crazy “Karens” say!

I contacted the Walgreens on FM 78 and crestway in Converse TX Store 1194 today. I spoke to John, who claimed he was the pharmacist and in charge.I called because my daughters prescription was supposed to be sent to us via mail, however she ran out of pills yesterday and we still havent received her medication. This medication is daily and cannot be skipped, so I was trying to track down what we could do to get her medication.He asked me for her name and dob again, even though I had already given it to someone else, and then proceeded to school me on how I should be doing this on your app vs calling them by phone. Which I had already done but since we still didnt have her meds, I needed to speak to someone and he made it seem like it was such an inconvenience to him.I gave him her information, to which he responded her medication isnt even here, its at another store, youll need to call them. I tried to explain that her prescription is and has been there for months and he told me no maam its not, call the other store. I asked him again to please listen to me, that I needed help, and he said i already told you its not here, youll have to call the other store. I told him again I needed help, to which he responded maam I have to go then put me on hold and then hung up.I called back and spoke to James the store manager, explained the situation and after about 8m on hold, I spoke to Cheryl, who confirmed her medication is in deed at that store, and that it had been mailed out, but that they tend to have issues with the mail service and it takes longer. She stated I needed to call my doctor and get a 5 day prescription called in so we could pick it up until we got the mail order. At least, she was helpful.Two things, John your pharmacist should be fired or at the very least written up for being extremely rude to your customers. Secondly, you need a better prescription mail order service. People shouldnt have to go through all this in order to get their prescription, which they trusted you with.

I visit this location 2-4 times a week due to working so close and the staff are always impressive! Caitlin, Teresa, and Luz get a huge shout out for always providing exceptional service and being knowledgeable about the store and its products. Ive personally seen some unsavory, unpleasable customers here and the situations were handled in a courteous professional manner. I have no experience with the pharmacy however as a store, this is my Walgreens, and I definitely recommend this location.

I went to pick up medication with my spouse. The pharmacy tech said she couldn’t locate our insurance in the system so we would either have to pay out of pocket or try later.We had all of our insurance documentation, verification of benefits and ID. We had also called our insurance provider beforehand and reviewed the in network pharmacies online.It was 15 minutes from closing and the pharmacy tech wasn’t willing to take our proof of insurance not let us talk to another pharmacy employee. I would recommend staff training so that employees know how to handle customers who have all of their documentation assist with filling their prescription, rather they turning them away.

My daughter picked up her prescription at 8530 FM78 Converse, Tx. Was given the wrong prescription. Returned to the pharmacy where she spoke to John Acosta Pharmacist who was rude and disrespectful to her stating that it was her responsibility. This is the 2nd time that Walgreens has filled the wrong hormone replacement for my daughter and last time she got sick and didnt realize it and now that is why she is hyper vigilant and once she got home saw it was the wrong med turned right back around and was met with unprofessional conduct by a pharmacist employed at Walgreens. Not to mention she does NOT have a vehicle and had to attain transportation to even pick up the prescription. When she saw her physician she was assured that the exact medication she was taking would be called in and not substituted. The MD was not contacted when the hormone replacement had to be substituted for another drug nor was the patient alerted via phone, text and or upon arrival to pick it up. The pharmacist was not alerted and did not come and speak to my daughter about this medication substitution prior to leaving Walgreens. My daughter then returned worried and just wanting the correct medication which are standards of care by CMS as well as Joint Commission and was met by John Acosta Pharmacist with such rude and unprofessional conduct. Medication reconciliation is a national patient safety goal and ensuring that patients are given the correct medication is a safety goal! This was the 2nd time by this organization to give my daughter the wrong medication substituting without alerting her and or her practitioner. There is absolute NO reason why at the time of pick up at minimum that the PATIENT should be alerted that there was a substitution in the medication that the original practitioner prescribed for whatever reason as we know shortages as the such happen but what we dont do is NOT communicate that with the patient! That is how bad things happen to patients and that is why Medication Reconciliations are mandatory and national patient safety goals created around ensuring the rights of dispensing drugs. The pharmacist needs to be sent to PEER REVIEW and the board of Pharmacy that is unprofessional conduct! Its the responsibility of Walgreens to investigate it should be reported to his director and then to the Board of Pharmacy.

Slow service. Every time I go there, pharmacy drive through is very slow and can get backed easily. Also calling for refills can be a issue of out of stock and may take up to week to fill your prescription.

The pharmacy staff has really stepped up to the plate since the beginning of the pandemic. I have never had to wait long to pick up my prescriptions. The staff is friendly, efficient and very professional. Im so happy that I changed to this pharmacy.

So done with this store!!! They pick and choose which coupons they let you use,than the app doesnt work with their coupons they used to over ride it now the night manager wont and they dont care.I call the rewards program and they dont help you either they tell you to go buy the stuff than they can try to do something! Im here everyday for cigs and I would only shop there for my household stuff.not anymore because of the night manager she is rude and they dont care!!

I dont know if any of these reviews help or make a difference because but if you ever go to this particular Walgreens in the Pharmacy section, read this review before you go. I had to get a prescription for an a slight infection and when I went to the front window I could already tell that it was going to be difficult. I gave the girl my name that was sent by Med Clinic because they sent my information electronically and she looked at me like I was crazy or something. It was as if she started her day with a bad attitude and I was the first guy she was going to take it on. I also asked her if she had any information on the medicine I was talking to make sure I was going to drozzy behind the wheel...nope no help there..just a lot of attitude..bad attitude and forget the pharmacist he could care less..he was to busy on the computer to even care. You know for a lay person I wonder if we have to figure things out on our own or are they supposed to help us out since they get paid the big bucks..I guess next time I just shut my mouth and never ask a single question ever again. So when you go to this particular Walgreens and have to visit the Pharmacy section BE PREPARED FOR THIER ATTITUDE.

Terrible service, I usually dont but reviews on any site but unfortunately this has been a nightmare 2 months prior I got a medication refilled was 6 tab short this month 3 tabs short, these days my son has to go without medication. They are never accurate or dependable, nor are they ever on the same page as there teammates this month they were short, on his medicine and one lady told me I could pick it up a day early which would be yesterday and go to get it the pharmacist told me I had to wait till today, I got today and sit at the window for 9 min no other customers on line I watch through the window the pharmacists take a anew customer that walked to the window in side plus a FedEx package, what happened to customer service, and speed of service, specially at the pharmacist, Im sure that FedEx guys som hasnt been with out medication for 3 days or waiting at the drive through window for 9 min . So frustrated I just had to leave and send someone else to go pick it up .

I have never used Walgreens pharmacy and never will try again. I only went because my daughter needed a medicine that costs $600 and the doctor gave me a coupon that only works at Walgreens. I didnt catch the pharmacists name but she is a brunette with glasses. I was given a 30 min wait for the prescription and I told the gentleman I would be waiting in the store. I went back around 30-35 min later and was told the coupon didnt work. Instead of calling me over the intercom they waited to tell me when I went up there thinking it was ready. So they offered another coupon and after another 20-30 min I got it activated and was in line. After the wait again I was given a copay of twice the amount from the first coupon. I asked why and she says well its probably because I only have two 30 mg instead of the one 60 mg. Seriously?? All this time and she couldnt have told me they didnt have it in stock?? She didnt even give me an option of asking to order the correct one or if I wanted to pay double the copay. SMH after two hours of this nonsense I will never go back to this pharmacy. I will stick to WM.

Avoid this pharmacy at all costs. Its the closest one to my house without driving out of our way, but a 20 min drive is worth it compared to the trouble I recieve feom them EVERY month on same prescriptions. The workers ha e an attitude always like you are an inconvenience to them. Heaven forbid someone ask you to do your job and hold you accountable for doing it correctly.

I pulled into the drive through 10 minutes before closing time and TWO people walked passed the window with their backs to it, to act as if they didn’t see us at all. Horrible. Servicing for medication should not be taken lightly. Does not matter if closing time is near, some of us can’t make it earlier and my transaction always takes less than two/three minutes.

Well first they didnt fill one of my prescriptions because it was over looked thank God I knew how many the doctor prescribed. Next she charges my medicine to my child insurance. This lady was not paying any attention. I asked her did u even bother reading the name on the prescriptions. She was like oh Im sorry. All I kept thinking is that im pretty sure if she is this careless then I know she giving out wrong medication. Lawsuit waiting to happen.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I have never been so disrespected by an employee EVER. I was waiting in line there and apparently the other employee there LEILANI opened her register and decided to take the other 3 people standing behind me in line even though I was next in line. I said to her you could of said something to me Ive been standing here forever she rolled her neck looked away from me and said I SAID next customer in line! I then said to her well obviously I didnt hear you. She then says AGAIN I SAID NEXT PERSON IN LINE! I could not believe the attitude she was giving me. I demanded to see the manager who I did speak with but he did not seem very interested at all. Leilani (the employee) was still standing there with attitude and all. I will never visit this walgreens EVER again. Ghetto and ratchet cannot even describe this place.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE PHARMACY STAFF!! THEY NEVER HAVE MY SONS PRESCRIBTION WHEN ITS CALLED IN BY THE DOCTOR! REFILLS ARE A ISSUE AS WELL! THEY ALL HATE THEIR JOB!
