This place is awesome for welding. I stopped here to look into picking up a torch. After several minutes exploring all the options. I mentioned I had some old ones at home. They suggested I save my money and get the old ones refurbished. I took a couple old Victor regulators and torches down that were given to me by my father in law to be serviced before I blew my face or a finger off. It took a week or so but when I got them back they looked operated like new. Better than new! The employees were super friendly and knowledgeable. They took several minutes to explain tips and tricks I wasnt aware of from watching YouTube. I wont be looking elsewhere for my cutting and welding needs. Picked up some hoses, a few tips, Oxy and acetylene when I picked up my better than new regulators and torches.

I read a lot of good reviews, that was not my experience. The gentleman that waited on me did not really seem to be interested in helping me. I was actually going to purchase more items, but he was in such a hurry to get rid of me that I only paid for the gas cylinder and gas and went to the loading dock to pick it up. I received the cylinder and went home. When my existing cylinder ran out I swapped in my new (used) cylinder. Hooked up the gages and opened the valve, EMPTY... Saturday night and a wasted Sunday worth of work on our project...Second trip to Conroe Welding supply was a very different experience, I found that THEY DO READ YOUR REVIEWS! They corrected the issues and were very helpful. After this experience I will definitely be a return customer. I thank them for the way they handled an unhappy customer. Thanks again for resolving the issue.

Welding supplies, restoring an old truck and have a mig welder, I need bottle of argon/CO2 mix to weld the thin metal on the truck. They had what I needed but pushed for the larger bottle, I opted for the small bottles because its for smaller jobs in the garage. Its a local shop so if I need more they are close to me and prices arent too bad.

Great place they treat you like Family Fun Town RV gives them a 5 star on there Service.

This a great local welding supply company that sells most gases... like propane, oxygen, helium, acetylene, carbon dioxide to name a few... they also carry all the bottles, regulators, rods, tips, signs, brushes, and other equipment one might require while welding. They are always friendly and if they dont have what you need in Stock, they will order it! This is a local business that is worth visiting...

Great company and customer service! They have been very helpful; infact months ago when I stopped by the store I spoke with the owner for a long time and he made several suggestions to help me save some money and gave me pointers on how to solve some issues with my project. Being that Im new to welding I can use any and all the help that I can get! I will also be returning today to exchange one of my cylinders! They were great! And they didnt over charge me for the liquid nitrogen and tank size like Airgas did! Very friendly and helpful!

Went to get my oxygen bottle filled, well swapped out. Came home and used my acetylene torch for not even 30 minutes and it went out. The bottle is supposed to have 2000 PSI in it and ONLY had 200. Called up there and was met with a less than cordial response and how they had no idea how it could be empty. You can guess where I wont be coming back to. Oh and not to mention they wouldnt even fill my acetylene bottle. They told me the only option was to upgrade to the next cylinder up which was $100. Smh.

Not the place to buy propane. About the same price for propane as uhaul 3.30 -3.40 a gallon ... Seemed to be not filled all the way.. Just like Blue Rhino or Amerigas Exchange They charge you for a flat 5 gallons.. Full tank is 4.7 you cannot watch them fill .. Seems like it would be a better deal to go to HEB and get the exchange for 14.99 .. CWS is charging 16.50 .. Doesnt seem like a big difference... but if youre using a blue flame heater post Harvey to heat your home, It adds up quick..

Every time I call up there it’s like they make it a point to be as rude as possible. I just called about a Lincoln Electric Viking hood and when I asked for the fixed shade one that’s like $40 instead of the $300 one and he immediately blew me off. Just unprofessional.
