Now thats how its supposed to be done!! I dont know how it can be so different between Toyota dealerships. (Refer to my previous review of Fred Haas Toyota where I purchased my Toyota). Even though I didnt purchase my vehicle here, they treated me as if I had. Cordial contact made immediately, escorted to a waiting location and contacted person to person, not paged, upon completion. In and out in one hour, including a complimentary vehicle wash. Very personal, polite and professional staff. Safe-Tech Auto Glass is on-site to assist with any windshield dings, cracks or replacements if desired. It was great to sit back and let the professionals take care of business. Masks are not required here at this time but no one seemed concerned that I continue to wear mine. Wheelchair accessible, separate restrooms and ample seating in the extremely comfortable customer lounge. There is a complimentary shuttle service available for local customers as necessary. Gullo Toyota has renewed my faith in the Toyota brand and the philosophy that the customer is a top priority! My next Toyota will come from here, no doubt! Incidentally, the staff seemed surprised when I asked if I could take photos with a feel free response.
I cannot say enough good things about this dealership. I came in for a battery issue which i was told wasnt the battery from a different location. They didnt try to sell me anything extra they told me it was just the battery knowing i was told it wasnt the battery. I then asked for an appraisal for a buyback price of my old car and the awesome salesman gave me a price and i came back to see a different salesman (someone i knew who wasnt working that particular day). They immediately greeted me offering to help me with my purse since i was struggling to put my keys away and juggling my bag, and coffee etc. (not knowing who i was or that i knew anyone). I then see the man who gave me the appraisal value who immediately said hey! how are you rebecca and called over the sales associate I was there to see. I was there maybe an hr before we found a car I loved and completed all of the money talk and credit pulls etc. Came back 4 days later to pick it up my new CH-R and the total time took maybe 2.5 - 3 hrs total between the two days! They seriously are the nicest people and so down to earth. Finance guy was awesome!! didnt try to offer me stuff I didnt need etc. Seriously you cannot go wrong going to this dealership. HANDS DOWN THE BEST EXPERIENCE AT A DEALERSHIP IVE EVER HAD. Thank you to everyone at Gullo but specifically Salesman - Chris Newman and Finance - Lamar!
John was fantastic! He worked a deal out with us over the phone before we came to see the car. Had the keys ready for us to test drive it when we got there. We were in and out as quick as you can be at a car dealer. We don’t live close to Conroe and were in our way up there to buy a van from the Honda dealer across the street. The salesman at that dealership waited until we were almost there to let me know the van we were coming to buy was sold.John helped us find what fast and worked great with us!
Last Friday I visited this dealership to look at the New Toyota 4 Runner. My salesperson, Joseph Perri wanted to work with me to purchase one that I test drove. I specifically told him where I wanted my payments and interest rate. As always, you sit and wait for multiple offers. By the second offer he asked that if he could get me the rate and payments I wanted, would we have a deal? I said yes. He actually had written down several proposals and came back and said finance had been approved at the rate and payments I wanted. Payments were actually $5 under. (And he actually wrote them down.) Then, going into closing, I meet Paul. Paul is very nice until I refuse the GAP and extended warranty. The kindness went away. We rush through papers and as is my own mistake, the rate and payments were not what I was promised and I did not catch this. Maybe Paul knew or didnt know what I was told. I was then handed all the contracts via a USB and sent on my way. I called Gullo this morning and spoke to Brock and explained the situation. I did receive a call back from Robert Todd. After listening to my story, he said that the loan was never approved for the rate I wanted. I again questioned why Joseph told me this. (No answer.) So in essence, I will be seeking to refinance and or pay this vehicle off very soon. Unfortunately this has left a bad impression and now Ill wonder if those Free Oil Changes and all the other that I was told Id receive will even happen. First experience buying here and I assure you my last. Just be carefull!!!
Fast drop off. The video from technician was a very detailed explanation of issues that needed attention, ones that might be coming up and those in good condition all in under 3 minutes and received within an hour of drop off. Definitely worth paying a couple extra bucks for the service, speed, and HONESTY!

We just purchased a brand new 4Runner from these guys. Two main things attracted us to the dealership - customer service and price. The entire process was smoother than we couldve imagined. Their prices are fair enough compared to other dealers that theres no need to try and grind them down. No hassle, no sneaky negotiating, and no worries. We drove over an hour and a half - passing several dealerships along the way, including a Toyota dealership 10 minutes away from us - to buy from these guys. If and when its time for another vehicle, well do it again. The staff knew what we wanted, and had the truck shined up, full of gas, and ready to drive off of the lot when we arrived. We werent at the dealership for more than 45 minutes. Ask for Cody Watson! Hell make sure that youre taken care of. This was our first time buying from a dealership, and now were customers for life. If I could give 6 stars, I would. Give these guys your business. You wont regret it.
So we had an 80% solid experience here. John Compuesto did an awesome job and was extremely kind. Paul Alli was polite as could be up until he tried to do the usual run around in the finance office where he sneakily tacks on a $3,000-$5,000 “warranty” etc etc while you’re signing the stacks of contracts. He then berated us for denying the add-on when our full-coverage insurance policy already covers it.. We politely and clearly declined and he immediately treated us poorly for the next 45 minutes. He had a lot of accolades on his shelves and walls that seems to tell a different story about him than we were experiencing. It was still a better deal and experience than we got at Tejas Toyota years ago… You will also immediately start getting spam mail from this dealership, be prepared.
I live in Cypress and was shopping Toyota dealers close to me for a new Highlander. I visited the dealers close to me, but they didnt seem willing to find a car for us. We were being told it would take several weeks or more at a minimum to get one. I reached out to Gullo Toyota on the phone. Although they did not have a Highlander matching what I wanted, they took the time to find the Highlander we wanted and did a dealer trade on one that was at the distributor. I had the new car in a week! I dont understand why other dealers wouldnt do this. On top of that, all the numbers on my trade and the new car were agreed to on the phone, and nothing changed when I arrived to take delivery. They valued my time and business. I did have one issue with the Highlander that was not noticed at delivery. The service department worked it in the next day, a busy Saturday, and spent several hours fixing a third row seat! Thank you to everyone I worked with- Cristina (Sales), Dermot (Sales Mgr), Lamar (finance), and Dale (Service advisor). All are true professionals.

I was planning to trade a vehicle for new one. I filled out my vehicle information and received the instant offer from the dealership followed by a call from their sales person. So far its normal and great customer service. We talked and I explained to them that the offer on my vehicle was too low for me to proceed with deal. Specially, since another dealerships in town offered me more. The salesman I spoke asked me about the other dealership offer. So I told him the number. The salesman, said bring in your truck and we can workout a deal. Well, so I drove all the way from Houston to Conroe after scheduling an appointment for them to look at my truck and me check the new one. I got there and they didnt have the vehicle I wanted to buy. Understood, they got sold, but at least they could have rescheduled my appointment!? So they checked my truck and ran some numbers and showed me the difference. They tried to match the other dealerships offer, but with some dishonesty. The couple thousands they added to my trade in value was added on top of the new vehicle price! How do I know that? Just needed to check their website while I was there ;). I normally like to play dumb with those salesmen to find out how honest or dishonest they are. On top of the increased price, they add tinting cost of $395. I dont understand that too, those vehicles come with the two rear windows tinted so the $395 is for the front windows. And also they add Preferred Care Protection for $1,595. Its a three years paint and windshield protection. Both those are a MUST, so they added another $2,000 to the price. Advice to the dealership- dishonesty doesnt take you too far. Advice to the customer, check vehicle prices before you head there or while you are there and dont get this Preferred Care Protection- its a joke. If you have a good insurance policy, you shouldnt need a dealership PROTECTION. :)
Ive made plenty of car purchases throughout my life, and Gullo of Conroe has been the most enjoyable experience Ive had. The pricing, customer service, and after-care have all been amazing. The vehicle delivery process was enjoyable, and the folks that delivered it made me feel valued. Gullo will be my go-to for any future vehicle purchases.
Hateful management. Be careful of crooks And their prejudices, making sure you check all documentations before you sign it and along with the vehicles they sell ; if they can get away with it, they can rip you off. No $300.00 dollars for oil changes !

This is an updated review. My previous review was one star due to an interaction with dealership personnel and having to bring our new Tacoma back to the dealership to fix a loud creaking noise multiple times.When my wife arrived to drop off the truck the dealership was prepared and had a game plan to address the problem. It was evident that there was some coordination behind the scenes to address the issue once and for all. The truck was sent over to the body shop where the issue was corrected. In the past the creaking noise would return within 75 miles, its now been a week, a couple of hundred miles and there is no creaking noise so I believe the truck is finally fixed.Id like to thank Paula Box in particular for ensuring that everything was in place for the dealership to finally correct our issue with the truck.
Get with Natham Wellman when contacting this dealership for a car. I talked to many dealerships during this crazy current car shortage and always circled back to Nathan because he worked hard in finding the vehicle I wanted. He was always professional, courteous, and most importantly, followed through with what he stated. I enjoyed my purchase with him because he is no BS, just a man working hard for you. I will be back for my next purchase even though it is a distance for me.

I bought my wife a 2015 Toyota Highlander from Gullo Toyota in Conroe Tx brand new back in 2015. The car itself has been a pretty good vehicle, my wife doesn’t put many miles yearly on vehicles. I recently had taken my car in to have the rear hatch and roof repainted due to paint peeling off(blizzard pearl), that ended up being a chore all on its on to get that done at Gullo Toyota in Conroe. They finally called back with date to drop off vehicle for repairs. The vehicle ended up being there for around 8 days for repairs. My wife returns to pick up vehicle and calls me when leaving and says there was a air bag light on in dash. She was scheduled to work that day and didn’t have time to go back in to have checked out that day. By the way no lights were on when vehicle was dropped off. So we finally get around to bring vehicle back for check up on airbag and check engine light had also came on. Service department ended up fixing issue with check engine light and also checking on air bag light. They checked on issue and stated the airbag had been damaged due to rodents. The air bag damaged was in the rear hatch where body work had been performed at Gullo in Conroe. The service/director of service department called wife and left message on phone I called back and no answer. After numerous phone calls left to service director and owners of dealership(father and son) no one would call back. Finally got in touch with service director basically states I will have to take care of damages to vehicle. I done a little research and found out Gullo does take pics when vehicles are dropped off and when services are done that was confirmed by service director. Finally got a chance to go sit down with owner(son) didn’t like his demeanor when he came out to get me in lobby, acted like he didn’t even want to introduce himself. After our sit down long story short he tells me nothing will be done on there part file on my insurance. He also stated that any vehicle dropped off at there dealership for service for any period of time they are not responsible for damage. After this experience at Gullo Toyota it really makes me feel sick to my stomach. My money and business not appreciated at all. In my opinion I would recommend purchasing your next Toyota from another dealership that appreciates your business. Customer service at Gullo Toyota in Conroe doesn’t even rate. I’ve lived in Montgomery county all my life and keep my car purchase local. There are other local dealerships that my family and I have made multiple purchases from, will not be doing any kind of business at Gullo Toyota in Conroe ever again.
This business is the most shady deceptive institution Ive ever been to. I called them yesterday for an estimate and received one, to find out that there is is a diagnostic charge to even be seen, so I paid the diagnostic fee supposedly got a full general diagnosis to find out that they did not do a diagnosis but instead just charged me $300 for a transmission fluid and an oil change. I asked the clerk where my diagnosis was since thats what I paid for initially and he had no idea what I was talking about all the sudden. Plus theres no sales tax included on my bill so again I say this is a very shady dishonest car lot do not go here
Everything was easy to navigate, the service was friendly and helpful and everything was explained clearly.

This dealership, which seems to be the trend with Gullo dealerships, does nothing to help with financing. I am a low credit score because of a divorce, and they tried one bank to get me financed (Toyota finance), and left it at that. I was financed through another dealership, but the car turned out to have a problem, so I know I can get financing. This is my THIRD bad experience with a gullo family dealership. Must be rolling in it if they are so lazy they only try one bank. I have a substantial amount to put down. I’ve also had bad experience with the service department on my Tundra here. Definitely will NOT be going back here.
Be careful when you buy a used car from Gullo. Even getting certified used, even after all the “packages” I was sold….I’ve got a bad battery that I have to replace myself and just bought the car 3 months ago. Not happy at all.

He told me there were few cars left. I said it’s okay. There are so many car dealers. If you are so rude you can go now, this is a 180-degree change in your attitude towards not buying a car

I had the worst experience this past Friday June 18, 2021, had an appointment at noon for oil change went in 30 minutes earlier than my appointment, my car was finish after 2.5 hours and they didn’t wash my car nor they drive up for me, it was park out front in the parking lot, they didn’t do that with others customers but me. I would not go back or buy another Toyato ever again with the service I get and the way they treated me differently from others. The worst service ever. I will tell all my families and friends not to buy a car from this dealership or get service from there. This is the 2nd time they didn’t wash my car. I was very upset and angry because I wasn’t not treated same way as others.

I went in with the typical idea that car sales men take advantage of people’s ignorance and I really just didn’t want to get taken advantage of. I arrived early, was promptly waited on, saw Jenifer my service technician and she was super. In no time, ahead of my scheduled appointment. I got my video review almost as soon as I got home explaining and showing me what my problem was. A price was quoted and everything was told me up front with no hidden fees. I highly recommend Gullo Toyota of Conroe; sales staff, finance, and accessories dept. Andy Ritter helped me during the sales process who is easy to work with. Brock Willet was very helpful explaining different warranties. Moises from the accessories dept was prompt and courteous. Even though, this dealership is over 65 miles away from my home, it was worth two trips; once for the purchase and the second trip for installing accessories.If you are looking for a Toyota, you should give Andy a call.
Sales guy did not bother to let me know that the vehicle that I wanted to test drive was no longer available. I scheduled to view the vehicle and even got a reminder via Text that I will make the appointment. No courtesy call or text that the vehicle got sold and wasted my time going up there and trying to upsell me on something I dont want. This sales tactic is ancient and consumers are using other methods to purchase vehicles in the digital age we live in. Just remember a customers time is more valuable than making a sale.

We purchased my son a new vehicle at this dealership. The purchasing experience was fine. The service experience has been a nightmare. The vehicle is less than two years old. We have had this car down 4 times to have the AC repaired. Then, yesterday, his entire carpet on the floorboard was soaked with some liquid. We tried in vain to make an appointment to drop the car off, but nobody in service ever answered. We left a voicemail and nobody ever called us back. We dropped the car off this morning and guess what, no loaner or rental car available. Only the courtesy van which was nowhere around. Horrible service experience. Be super careful about purchasing from this dealer based on service experience.

Found my car using their online services. Communicated via email for a couple of days with an agent finding what I wanted and scheduled an appointment to go visit. The car was ready for a test drive when I arrived without any wait time and within an hour of my arrival, I walked out of the dealership the owner of a new car. Great salesman, hassle-free, great value. This is my 3rd time buying a car and this was the easiest and most pain-free of those experiences. They gave me what I wanted and didn’t waste my time. I definitely recommend this dealership.
On Monday the 10th of April Josephine Stoll became the Official Owner of her 2016 Camry. Today I purchased a 2011 Chevy Traverse, after a couple of horrific past experiences with dealerships I went in fairly hostile.However, what I found here was a friendly straightforward experience. Our salesman Cody Watson was upfront and honest without spin. I told him what I wanted, and around what I wanted to pay. The Pay off was instant and painless.The Finance man Mr.Paul was equally straightforward with us and we were able to come to an amicable agreement regarding the additions to our contract, Gap insurance warranties, and such.It was a refreshingly pleasant surprise to encounter no sales gimmicks or excessive pressure tactics, and moving forward I will suggest Gullo to all my friends in search of a vehicle.

Purchased a used truck with low miles that looked great, asked if the truck had ever been wrecked and was told No Sir ! Even showed me a car fax . I had the truck a couple years and tried to trade it in on a new one at a different dealer and they tell me I cant get what was owed because of the damages on their Carfax. Note I never wrecked the truck so it was all news to me . I go back to toyota and confront them and a manager brings me a printed copy of a statement that I signed stating there is no recalls on the vehicle, and a checked box stating that I read the hand written note about the damages to the truck . I never would have paid the price I paid for the truck had I known nor would I have ever purchased a Wrecked truck . Then they tried to give me a deal on another vehicle on their lot, No thank you already got me once I would be driving a new truck right now, but they got me,,, Dont let them get you! I would give no stars but it made me pick one. Tip from a lesson learned, get a copy of every article you sign when signed .

When I say Mike Birch saved the day that’s an understatement!!! I found myself unexpectedly needing a new vehicle and not only did mike find me the perfect car in my budget but he went above and beyond with his customer service.
Regular maintenance oil change plus diagnostic search to discover loud grinding noise coming from the engine. By the time I drove to Gullo Toyota, the grinding had stopped. Nothing was found on diagnostic testing. For that I was thankful. Gullo Toyota for the past twelve years has been courteous and professional in all their service on my vehicle. That is why I keep coming back.

I’m writing to recommend Fred Haas Toyota. It’s a little further south on I-45, offers consistently excellent customer service, and is well worth the drive. I started giving them my business after my one and only terrible experience at Gullo Toyota.I don’t typically write reviews, and I’ve never written a negative review until now. I received very poor customer service from a Mason and Manager Maxine at Gullo Toyota in Conroe. Initially, as I waited in the service department line waiting for my turn I witnessed Mason treat another employee and 2 other customers poorly...very demeaning to several people. I honestly couldn’t believe it. The only reason I stayed for service is because another gentleman started my ticket, but unfortunately in the end I was handed off to Mason, who rendered services with an attitude. I had asked to speak to the Manager over a discrepancy with the quote I received and the final balance for services rendered, and was put in contact with Maxine who offered no solution, was unapologetic, and seemed to me patronizing. She also admitted she was on the service floor when Mason interacted with me and others but offered no rationale or apology for his behavior. If and ever Gullo offers a pleasant, hassle free experience...it certainly wasn’t on this day for me.
Dont get the gap Insurance!!!!!!! I paid my car off and its been a struggle to get the difference. When your spending money they are all smiles but when u need them to do anything they drag their feet.

I went into Gullo already knowing that I wanted to purchase a new Rav4, and Huy was great to work with, making the process straightforward and easy. He answered all of my questions and showed me how to use the features on my new car. I got a great price on the car and I was in and out within a few hours! Mr. Payne in financing was also very nice!

What a great experience I had getting my new car today. Mike Birch was the name of the gentleman who helped me and Javier did my financing and both of these gentleman were so helpful and patient with me- they each took the time to answer all of my questions and help me pick the right car at the right price. The entire deal only took a couple of hours and I am so happy with my new car! I highly recommend this dealership and these guys to do your deal with.

I don’t know what happened but service is slow. Why have an appointment if you’re waiting HOURS for your car?! The last time I brought my car in for an oil change it took all day. Now when I show up for an appointment the bay is full, the lobby is full; the outside waiting area is full and I get told 2 hours? Which I know is a lie. STOP OVERBOOKING APPOINTMENTS. No one wants to sit at the dealership all day for an oil change. And quit lying about ETAs. Never going back again and will purchase my next vehicle somewhere else.

Came to the dealership to get my car serviceWalked past the managers officeWalked past salespeople.. walked around the showroom. Walked past a lady sitting. I think she might have been a receptionist. Walked to the service department. No customers except me. Looked at several employees. Stood there about 4 minutes. Finally I went up to one and got a appointment. I dont think this place wants to sell me a truck. Going back Tuesday for my appointment at 10 am. Walked out . Went through the main lobbyPast the receptionist . Past the salespeople. Past the managers office. Out the door. Wanted maybe to buy a truck here..
I really don’t like dealing with car dealerships and car salesman. My salesman Nate was a pleasure to work with and he did a great job on our deal. I will recommend Gullo and Nate to anybody looking for a new vehicle.
