I dont know whats changed here. Ive spent lots of money here on a few different boats. Last project was started and then dropped completely. No communication at all. Oh well.

Was looking for a new car stereo for my son’s car so he could have hands free telephone access. They were able to do it cheaper than the quote. We had 1 minor glitch- they said bring it back and fixed the problem. Friendly/ helpful and delivered as promised. Highly recommend!

Josh was helpful and did a way better job on the custom box install! Very happy with the set-up and cleanness of the install! Don’t let the fancy showroom scare you. Great work and works with your budget......

These guys just care about the quality of work you want! You pay for what you get. These guys are professionals. They will go over everything with you to make sure you want to do this or that. They will not try to screw you over, they just want you to be happy with what you’re getting done! Josh and his guys are great! Highly advise you getting your work done here!

Can’t comment on their work, but I can comment on the part of not answering the phone. Then driving all the way there to get pricing and agree to a price. Then crickets. He said he would call the next week to schedule install. That was in august. Took my business somewhere that cared and wanted it.

Huge Thank You to Lake Side Audio on 105 ...I was on a job painting ..left for minute..popped my tire beside of their business...these guys came out..got car to safety took tire off..took my spare to have it put on my rim and put tire back on and they wouldnt even let me pay them ...amazing and appreciated... !!!

Josh seemed helpful at first, even though I had to call and call and call to get him to answer the phone! He said he had my problem solved, (warranty on a speaker) then didnt follow through. put me off again and again, a year later I gave up on calling and drove the 1.5 hours to there shop to have Josh basically tell me it was JL that wouldnt warrant the speaker which is a LIE. and told me that my recollection of our correspondence was wrong. called me a liar LOW CLASS. Josh is used to getting his way. Watch Out!!!

Friendly, immediate service. I will absolutely be back to get my old girl up to par and restored. I was actually very impressed with the customer service here. Its almost non existent these days and these guys went out of their way to help me out. Much appreciated! Thank you, and I will be back!!

No communication.

I’m sure they do great work...if you can get them to do it. I went in to get a quote on a stereo system, which they were very enthusiastic about. The owner put together what could have been a great package. That’s where the good experience stopped. From that point on, they were very unresponsive and never returned phone calls. I had to physically go to their shop to get updates on when the equipment would arrive for install. This happened a few times, to the point where I doubt they even ordered what would be installed. Maybe I wasn’t the type of clientele they cater to since I didn’t want to spend more than a certain amount (but come on, you’re located in CONROE...get over yourselves). After more than a month of waiting for them, I decided to take my business somewhere else.I would not recommend this place.

Ive been doing business with Lakeside Audio for over 10 years. These gents have worked on most of my vehicles and my home and have always delivered a great product.Every now and again Ill have to call back to get someone on the phone, but this mirrors my experience with other high end specialty shops. Just the nature of the beast in a small company where everyone is busy. Definitely get what you pay for, in my opinion. Highly recommended.

I went to get a steering wheel control adapter install scheduled. When I came back to have it installed, it was done quickly and well worth the money. He also tuned the sub amp and it sounds great.

Bought a Jensen CAR1000 and had Lakeside Audio install it. The service was great the price was reasonable and I now have a 2003 Honda Element with great audio and Android Auto.

They are the best in our area for stereo installations in boats, ATVs and all vehicles!

Ive had several things done here, and while it does seem a little pricey, their work is second to none. I have gone back to have them tune up an amp and sub and they did it then and there at no charge. Id definitely recommend them anyone looking for quality audio work.

I give them a star only for potential. Lakeside Audio could be a good company. They lost a big deal, returning customers- with good faith and recommendations (read the other ratings. I can see how those customers are telling the truth.) The employees are rude negative and untrustworthy. Lakeside Audio cant be trusted. They do not say what they mean. Only thing they say & mean, is when theyre being rude-which is [other than] when youre buying something. Thirdly, this company has absolutely no customer care. They have customer-care-less. Finally, where are the owners? Are they aware of this kind of feedback and employee interaction? Whats their customer policy? Do the owners make sure its being expedited? While the cats away the mice play!

I visited the store the other day totally prepared to spend $600 on a new radio because I thought mine was toasted. After speaking with the staff at Lakeside, they instructed me to double check my batteries because that might be my issue. Well, they were 100% correct. After a long charging session, my radio worked perfectly and I could not be happier. You guys saved me $600 and although you didnt make a sale that day, youve got a customer for life. I am a veteran and came in for these guys to help me with my car stereo. They talked a great game about what they could do for me. They took a broken speaker and amplifier and I have not heard back from them. I have tried to call them in regards to it and they don’t answer. I called once and they answered, said My last name, and hung up on me, so I know that they know who I am. They have basically taken/stolen property that belongs to me and are refusing to return it or help me. As a veteran I only ask for honesty and character, and this company has none. BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL WHEN THINKING OF DOING BUSINESS HERE!!!

I had been a customer since 2010. I guess they must have more business then they can handle or they are going out of business. Im not sure who the owner is or if they even care. Ill never be back that is for sure. They dont answer the phone when you call. I had to walk in to set an appointment for 2 weeks later and then when I towed my boat in to get some major audio work done they didnt keep any amps in stock to do the job. I just want to try to do my part in putting them the rest of the way out of business if I can. Youd think you were talking to Chip Foose himself. They are very arrogant and very pompous and seem to enjoy speaking to customers like they are morons.

They NEVER answer the phone which leaves you having to drive up there every time you have an issue/question. Im trying to give them part of my paycheck yet no one is there to take it. Guess another company gets it...again.

Went in for a family event. The staff on hand was very friendly. Beautiful rides.

Had a driver of a beat up white pickup truck with blue stripes and the Lakeside Audio phone number on the rear window nearly cause my family to be run off the road and possibly hospitalized or killed. Driver was extremely aggressive and dangerous and I saw him endanger several other drivers. This was around 4:00PM on January 1st, if this company would like to know who the driver was. Strongly recommend readers take their business elsewhere.

This place was soooo rude!!!Not just one guy was rude but everyone I spoke with I had some work done to my car then something went wrong and they said its my fault!! Now I have to go somewhere else and pay more money there NO HELP!! DONT Go THERE! !
