Lines can be long but bring your patience the customer service is great remember or still suffering and epidemic. Customers and staff are wonderful, shelves are always stocked full. Staff are always welcome to answer questions. Parking can be an issue but I would suggest ordering online in waiting outside they will bring the groceries to your car if you use the app. It is wonderful, and they will use your online coupons in the app is very user-friendly.

A Great Grocery Store In A Nice Lil Neighborhood & Its Just About Around Everything

This is my preferred place to grocery shop even though I live closer to the Safeway at Clayton Station. Seems the store clerks here are just genuinely friendly and this store usually has what Im looking to purchase.

Just not the friendliest bunch. The nicest most helpful person there was a night stocker guy who had his port music loud enough to actually enjoy... Yay to Safeway for allowing the staff their choice of individual tastes in music, and further thank you for allowing us to enjoy with. While some may not approve, I thoroughly enjoyed the added vibe;)

I have been ordering groceries for pick up for a while now. Its always easy, and a real time saver.

This is my neighborhood Safeway and many of the team are friendly. Today I am drawn to write this review because of my deli experience. Nathaniel helped me today and was very friendly and sliced the cold meat and cheese efficiently. I complimented him on having a great eye for getting weight pretty spot on and and he replied “Well, I AM a professional”. Hahahahahaa. It is great to see younger people have a sense of humor and able to have a conversation. Sometimes in the deli for some reason employees seem impatient if you ask for more than two items, but not Nate. I feel it is important to compliment people when you are thinking positively about your experience with them. I shared this with my cashier, Michelle, who is also a manager and she found out what Nathaniel’s name was for me and encouraged me to write this review. That being said, Michelle has been my cashier many times and she is always friendly and personable. These are important traits to see in your neighborhood Safeway and these two team members stood out to me today. Grocery shopping is a pretty mundane chore most of the time so when that chore is met with friendly and helpful employees, it makes it a better experience. Thank you!

Moved to the area almost a year ago & this store is a couple blocks from my new house so it’s my go to Safeway & I love it!! They always have what I need, everyones very helpful, & the store is always clean & organized!! I especially want to highlight an employee who went above & beyond to help me in the Deli, thanks sooo much Bernice for taking my stress away when you didn’t have too!! Kudos to you!!!

This location can be quite busy throughout so day, so I tend to go in the evenings. There is self check out available, a deli, and a flower/balloon section.

Great Store, Meat Dept is Probably the best in the Area, all choice meats, also they carry grass fed and organic Meat, they can cut to order as well, so if you are looking for a Xtra thick cut they will cut for you, The Meat Dept Mgr was a Petrinis Butcher before going to Safeway 25 years ago, so he is very knowledgeable and can get you what ever you need.

This Safeway has the best produce, meat, bakery and people of any store that I ever shopped at. I get coupons in the mail to shop at other stores, but they can not compare to the experience that I get when I shop at this Safeway store. Also, their deli department carries Boars Head products. I have to cater lunches often. The deli department makes me a hit at the lunches that I cater. It us the best and freshest around. Kudos to this wonderful store!

Looking for items that were on sale and managed to find something. The only bag part is if its a Friday $5 deal you need to go in the morning otherwise items will be out of stock. Most items in stock if not $5 sale.

Our Safeway is just a half mile away. Ill often walk there. I let the store be my pantry and refrigerator cause its so close. There doing a good job with covid restriction/safety measures, but still need more checkout lanes during peak time. Come to the store with patience and allow everyone an extra dose of courtesy...especially the workers...they dont set policy, they just have to follow like you and i.

Good size store, hot bar & deli, some choices are limited, & a good location so you dont need to leave town. A tad pricey, but also has a full butcher counter, & fresh produce with a wide selection & precut/packaged seasonal vegetables.

Produce is impeccable . Steak, chicken always best quality. They are quick. Love the sushi too, and they will even give extra wasabi.

The bakery cakes are way to sweet and overpriced and the cake i ordered was wrong found a better bakery in Vallejo and it better then Safeway bakery by a long shot and it called Tony cakes go there better

Won’t ever be going back to this Safeway location, which is sad because it’s my neighborhood Safeway. Today I was racially profiled and accused of stealing multiple groceries when I’ve never stolen in my life. I walked out of the Safeway with a Starbucks in one hand & my keys in the other. I also carry the smallest purse ever. A Safeway employee had the audacity to come outside and take pictures of my car without saying a word to me. Confused by her actions I returned inside the store to address why she did so. The manager made her delete the photo. Also all of the employees were having a morning meeting while she’s accusing me of doing these things, seriously??? The district manager, manager, all the staff etc I addressed about this persons actions. Don’t support this Safeway if you’re Black or a person who supports basic human rights for all.

Its just a grocery store. Seems to be rather clean and the sandwiches are pretty good. 1 older lady there I assume is a manager has been very rude to me on multiple occasions and have no idea why but female dogs will be female dogs.

This place is okay. Just like any other Safeway, nothing really special about it. They have self check out and the lines are going pretty fast. It can get crowded sometimes especially around 6 ish PM during the weekdays and afternoon in the weekends. One thing I noticed. They were trying to limit how many people can get into the store but it seems like they just gave up on it. It looks like they do have someone standing around the door but that person stopped caring counting people and constantly on the cellphone.

They do provide an excellent variety to choose from. But I cant help but notice some of those prices are getting a bit ridiculous.

So this review is actually for a Sharon in the deli department. She was so incredibly kind and thoughtful with me just ordering a sandwich and I actually witnessed her interact with a semi rude guest with the most utmost kindness and gentleness I can only hope to encompass in my day to day life. First of all it was nice and cool inside, me and my girlfriend went shopping she was like a fat kid in a candy store Safeway had everything we needed, besides that, the store was cleen the cashier was nice and courteous and polite, we will return to Safeway..

All the shelves were empty, impossible to keep up with the demand. No parking, carts and all checkstands were open with very long lines. The employees are doing a great job though.

Everytime I go to this Safeway theres always atleast 1 or even sometimes 2 other associates conversating with the cashier. Its kind of more wierd and socially awkward than unprofessional when I have to ask for a receipt because the cashier is too busy talking about their weekend plans during and after each transaction.

Can find everything i need here and prices are good.

Our neighborhood Safeway so I visit often out of convenience. Hit or miss. They seem to be getting better about keeping shelves stocked and the check-out people are a bit nicer than they used to be. Its almost always busy though, parking lots congested, and prices seem to get higher and higher.

I entered at 5:45 pm Friday, and the aisles were surprisingly free of shoppers; I reveled in that as I strode around the store, taking my unhurried time selecting items. Turns out I should have been quicker: by 6:05 it was VERY crowded! This store is always well stocked, & has friendly, helpful employees.

I’ve been coming to this Safeway for the last seven years because of convenience. This is absolutely the worst Safeway that I’ve ever been too. The sale prices are still more than other stores regular prices, but what’s the most upsetting is the produce. Then there’s the expiration on products that aren’t taken off the shelves ie yogurt. I’m not the type of person who complains or writes reviews. In fact this is the first review I’ve done. If I could give them a zero I would. Whomever does the ordering needs to order more of a variety or look to see what’s selling the most of a certain product and order more of that product. I can understand paying (a little extra) to have someone else bag my groceries, but the crazy thing is whenever I go nine times out of ten I’m bagging my own groceries anyway. It doesn’t make sense to me that EVERY other Safeway I go to is of high quality, but this one is disappointing every time I go. Who’s running the show??? I am now making a trip to Winco for twice as much groceries. Trader Joe’s is always good. But these stores are out of the way and it’s a bummer that I can’t count on my local grocery store for the quality I pay for.. If your going to charge top dollar then you need to have top quality products.

I like going to Safeway because they usually have whatever I need. There shelves are always stocks & its just pleasant shopping. Yes, it may cost a bit more in some areas but their sales are great.

Great day of bargains today. Store was in restock mode at 8am..no greetings.by several...but I said hi. Clean, great selections, variety and good bargains sets by the RX, on racks!

Always long lines at the registers. Never more than 3 open. Understaffed. The sign says if theres more than 3 in line theyll open another register; they dont ever do that.

Parking is frequently a hassle.

Nice and clean but a bit pricey.

Items are as good as other Safeway stores. Deli is great. However there are security problems with Lottery at every Safeway store but this is really bad. Do not ever buy Lotto tickets at any Safeway store. Gift cards also. Western Union avoid at all costs. Pharmacy should be avoided. I do recommend the buffet but get there early..
