This is a really great space to play tabletop games with friends and a host of like-minded folks. The staff is really passionate about what they do, and it shows. They recently opened up a mini-bar and snack stop inside the store to snag food from while you game- a great addition. Very reasonable prices for miniatures, board games, card games, and other tabletop fare.

The Mighty Meeple has a lot going for it: huge selection, knowledgeable and (usually) helpful staff, and a massive play area. I also appreciate how strict and consistent they are about their mask policy. But theres one glaring issue that keeps me from spending another penny: the owner is abusive towards his employees, sometimes even in front of customers. Ive known various previous employees, Ive seen it firsthand, and I was even a victim myself during my (luckily) brief employment there.Im a big fan of supporting local businesses, so allow me to suggest a few nearby competitors like Buzz City or Scotts Collectibles. You can shop there and know that your money wont end in the pocket of a cruel and abusive employer.

The only public area where wearing two top hats simultaneously is funny rather than weird. Employees are cool.

Have had the time of my life over many years going to this place. Something for everyone here and I have missed it every day since I moved. Unlike any other LGS.

Board games, card games, Magic the Gathering, miniature gaming, pen and paper games. This place has it all. Huge gaming area in the back and themed nights during the week so you can always get together to play whatever you want. Monday nights are for board games, Friday’s are for Magic, and other nights are for other things. They have a huge selection and are up to date with the new stuff. There is also a rewards program for frequent shoppers. If you’re a gamer, you owe it to yourself to check this place out and support a local FLGS so we can continue to have a place to play with and meet other gamers.

This is one happy dice goblin! The Mighty Meeple offers a great selection of tabletop games and accessories. You can find tons of board and card games, dice, terrain, miniatures, and more. The staff is always professional and friendly.

(Previous review redacted) Had a not so great experience when I came in one day after coming for a few months now due to a multitude of misunderstandings some of them being my own. On top of this there were some technological failures for their system causing me to not get credit for my full purchase. Left a negative review about my experience but the managing partner reached out to me and resolved my issues. It was clear he values his customers and wants to make sure everyone is taken care of. Will continue to come here.

Used to come here frequently for board games but as of recently there hasn’t been an update of stock compared to other local stores. Additionally going in, noticed no one was wearing a mask including staff. Little frustrating as the mandate was provided on Wednesday.

Love this place! For those who are looking for a good board game store, in the concord mills area this one is excellent! The owner and his staff is so helpful in navigating you toward a game you will most likely enjoy.

Really enjoyed this place. It has all things nerds( which is my style). Tons of cards and figures to board games and disc golf accessories. Tons of Warhammer figures with all the paint and crafts needed aswell as all things trading cards with mats to boxes to sleeves. Also Tons of card to buy individually from Pokémon to Magic.

I like Mighty Meeple. Clean, well lit, nice people and a big location. However, it looks like they may be getting out of the board game business. The selection has shrunk dramatically. Ive been in a few times looking for a new game and have wound up ordering online. If youre into Frisbee Golf, this may be the place for you.

We drive 45 minutes to get here because it has a better selection of games and tabletop rpg minis than most other places closer to us. The staff is always friendly and super helpful.

The store itself is nice, but totally lost my business since it turns out theyre scalpers. They are charging almost 2x retail for something that is still in print and trying to pass it off as market price. These guys are retailers. They should be charging retail (or maybe SLIGHT above retail). Can you imagine if Target started charging hundreds of extra dollars for PS5s because of market price? If this was a single rare card or out-of-print product, sure, charging extra makes sense. But I know other FLGSs that charge retail for the same product, so these guys are just being opportunistic scalpers.

Great local game shop for all your tabletop needs. MTG? They have singles and outside of a pandemic host FNM. Warhammer? Whole back wall is full of model kits and paints. D&D? They got books and figurines galore. Its as good as it can get for a local shop.

This place is great! Definitely the best gaming store in and around Charlotte. Huge GW and other miniature lines, as well as painting supplies. Everybody that works there is helpful and friendly as well.

Went in to browse.They have a bit of everything from Trading cards, to board games, to minis for RPGs, and many more! Definitely worth a trip to Concord!

Excellent place to find games that arent just monopoly. There staff is always very helpful and the selection of stuff is good. They also have paint for miniatures and things like that.

Fantastic local game shop! They offer a full weekly calendar of recurring events including board game nights, MTG competitions, and Role Playing events!The store is clean, well lit, and big enough for large groups to enjoy.

A wide variety of board games to try before you buy so you know if you will like it. Monday board game nights are fun when they have them. Cant wait for the expansion

My son has become an avid MTG player but as a young new player he has needed a lot of help along the way. Mighty Meeple staff, especially Kyle, has been extremely helpful in teaching him and encouraging him throughout the process. Often when he plays at the store there is an employee by his side coaching him about strategies. He is now a lifelong MTG fan and is always excited to play thanks to Mighty Meeple staff. Would love to see a youth event if they could make it happen!

The staff is always a delight, very helpful and friendly in every interaction I have had with them.The regulars are welcoming and generally pretty helpful when it comes to jumping into new games that youre interested in. You can build friendships here very easily!And the stock and pricing are fantastic. The reward points system is a great incentive to shop here and their pre-order discounts and guarantees are a huge plus to keep you coming back for more nerdy stuff.Would recommend to any and all looking for a place to buy Magic, Board Games and Miniature supplies alike.Or even just to find a new spot to hang out and meet new people. Great gaming store. Wide selection of games and a large gaming room. Layout is great too. Signing up for their membership (which is free) offers points that can be redeemed for discounts. Seems to be the best gaming store in Charlotte.

The store has the best game collection Ive seen. The staff also hit the right I want to get you help if you need it, but will leave you alone otherwise vibe. I had lots of fun at the open gaming night while in Charlotte on a business trip.

This place is awesome. I just visited for the first time and am very impressed. I asked about the Adventure Time Card Wars game, which is out of print, and they found it in less than five seconds. They set me up with card shields and a mat as quickly as I asked. Great service, very knowledgeable and great selection. Also very neat and easy to navigate.

The staff here is always helpful, and their selection is great. They have open play on Monday night, where they roll out 2 huge shelf units of games that anyone can play. They are very supportive of the homeschool community, as well.

This place is great for game nights. Im not a card game tournament player so I cant comment on that other than I know they have them. But their prices are really noticeably higher than on line. 15+%

Dropped by to visit with a friend and played casual Magic the Gathering in the back. Shop was well stocked and they had a great selection of singles. Everything was neat and organized. There seemed to be a ton of selection for games. The only downside was the tables were not covered for card games, but thats not a huge deal since most players bring their own play mats. I havent experienced an organized tournament there, but Ill probably have to make the trek back and see how those run as well. The shop is definately worth checking out.

Great space, great people. The store is well organized and doesnt feel cramped. Very airy feeling which makes it easier to be relaxed as one browses the games. And oh there are So Many Games. Several games are unpacked and on display for closer examination; and there are open tables in a spacious side room if you want to play. Open games are also available in that side room.Best place to shop, if you dont mind retail prices. And with service like this, it is worth it

The Mighty Meeple is the premier gaming location in the region. The selection is vast. The playing area is full of people but never crowded. They demo games and have excellent giveaways.

Staff is friendly and very involved in geek gamer culture. Site runs regular D&D campains and also is involved in Friday Night Magic (modern). Reasonable prices and a good variety of card, board, and table top role playing games. Will definately be back.

Came into the store for the first time and had a very positive experience, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I havent played mtg in years and just getting back into it, and they helped me find cards I wanted as well as provide information about upcoming events. Its in great location and the prices are very reasonable, so I definitely found a new place to game regularly.

Popped in on a lark and ended up playing a game of King of Tokyo (store demo copy) and Dark Souls (copy of another customer who struck up a conversation with us)! Excellent selection of games & minis for purchase, generous selection of demo games to try, awesome staff... love this place! Ended up buying some X-Wing minis, dice, and painting supplies.

A friend and I were in town for job training for a few days and decided to stop in here. Man was I happy we did, the staff here was excellent, not only did the greet us but they took the time to talk and help us find anything we needed. The owner also took the time to shake our hands and talk for quite awhile about games and gaming, he definetly knows his stuff we covered Magic the Gathering, Warhamner and board games.The store is impeccably clean and well organized. I was incredibly impresses with the entire experience.Thank you guys and gals again, we will be back if we are in town again.

My wife and I are new to the board game scene and came in to make a few purchases. The owner was extremely friendly and accommodating, and gave us several great suggestions. They have a wide selection of games with a good size play space for hosting tournaments and casual play. The staff is knowledgeable about the games they carry. Magic:The Gathering players can find singles and sort through bulk boxes to boost their collection.

Great selection, knowledgeable staff. Games are mostly MSRP, but the sale table usually has some really nice bargains.There is also a huge open gaming area, as well as demo tables showing some lesser known games.

If youre shopping for board games then this is the place to come! They have a wonderful selection with hundreds of choices. I could spend hours there just browsing the games! The staff is pretty knowledgeable.The only issue isnt really an issue because if you ask the right staff then they could help you find what you need. There are so many games that they have them sorted alphabetically which can be overwhelming when you are looking for types of games and not titles. Maybe they could have lists of games by different criteria.

Great place to visit if you like board games or collectible card games. You can come in on a Monday night after 6 PM and play many of the games the store has to offer for free. There are always a lot of people to play with and you will probably find a new game you want to buy.
