Buzz City is my favorite game store in the area. Super friendly and helpful staff, insane selection, and reasonable prices. You can go in and just pick a game from the demo shelf and start playing, and a staff member will even help you get started with the rules if you want. Plus, the building is an old bank, so the aesthetic is great! If youre in downtown Concord, stop in, youll leave happier than when you arrived!

I and my gal love this store. We make it a point to visit it anytime we are in the area. It has a great selection of games, from the simpler games for children and party games to the complex, crunchy games preferred by hobbyist gamers.They also have the largest selection of high-quality puzzles that I have seen anywhere.If you like games or puzzles, you owe it to yourself to check out this store.

Scalpers. Currently selling an in-print product and enormously jacked up prices, claiming that theyre doing it to keep scalpers from clearing their inventory. Thats a pretty easy lie to see through, because they could pretty easily set a limit on the number of product one person buys. So theyre protecting legitimate collectors/players from scalpers by...charging the same amount a scalper would charge. They just want a slice of that sweet scalper pie. Its one thing to be a retailer doing this stuff, but then to lie about it is just a totally different level. Theyve lost a customer.

Pretty awesome space even during COVID. The highlights and areas to improve upon:+They have reserved rooms for people calling ahead!+great selection! Carrying a HUGE selection of games from Catan and warhammer to Battle tech and star wars legion.-The bathroom, or at least the mens bathroom did not look like it had been cleaned recently, which is an issue even without COVID. The mens bathroom uses a hot air dryer to remove water after washing your hands, which is fine, but an option for a paper towel would be appreciated as there are articles suggesting germa are spread by air hand driers.+hours of operation on Sunday. Sunday is a day usually most places close early and Buzzcity is open till 9pm!+carry Bobsmith glue and glue accelerator!-For now they have only 2 rooms it seems to reserve which is an issue if you are not fast to reserve a room.Overall a 4/5 stars. A star lost due to the bathroom issues, and one star due to limited play area., but they at least have space open so 4/5 stars!

This place is awesome! Lots of good games and puzzles, including many youve probably never heard of. They have a lot of demo games to play so its fun just to hang out there. Staff is super knowledgeable and is great at helping you find new games. New location in the old bank is also very cool.

I frikin love this store. When you trade in your cards for in-store credit they don’t cheap out on you and the staff do their best to find what you need/want. I was there the other day, and I traded in a couple expensive cards for in-store credit and I honestly got a couple dollars more than I thought they were worth, I was planning on using the credit to purchase A LOT of cards that day. Not only that but they were a little over an hour away from closing and I felt super guilty but the staff reassured me it was no problem at all. They found me all 40+cards in almost no time flat, I’m going to keep coming until they don’t want me anymore or I buy them out. I suffer from really bad anxiety, specially the social kind and they made me feel so welcomed that I have no issues in keeping coming back. Hey guys if y’all are reading this it’s the guy who took home yalls “Nahiri, heir of the ancients” foil borderless and a bunch of other cards for a deck home and asked for more of Nahiris in the future. Thank you for your great service.

Awesome location and selection. We go to a lot of game stores, and its really nice to be in a space that is clean and well-lit.

Went in looking for a copy of a promo card and was told they were out. Yet there were copies being held for regulars. This is against the suppliers policy. Will be reporting this to said supplier and will never set foot back in this waste of space.

I think its a good place.Theres a lot of board games to choose from, seating for 20-30 people (by my estimate), and friendly staff. Has regular events for people to join. Has pleny of Magic: The Gathering support, but thats not the only thing going on here (just my hobby).Theres lots of parking at nearby lots on the weekends, and a few places to eat nearby for long game days.The only limitation is it closes in the late afternoon, but if the hours work for you its a great place to play and shop.

Fun and inviting place. They try their best to make you feel welcome in their establishment and I think they do a good job of it. If youre looking for a fun place to hang out and play trading card games, board games, or are new to them; come in and the staff there will be happy to engage with you. (If you play magic the gathering come draft on Friday nights!)

This place is great. Its used to be so hard to find good game stores anywhere in Concord, until Buzz City Games popped up right in the middle of downtown. My one issue is the prices, sometimes more than double that of a physical copy on Amazon, However, this is easily excusable by the many services they provide for free such as Adventurers League and Tables that are always open for personal use.

Great game shop in the heart of downtown Concord. Owner is super friendly and willing to help you find something that fits your needs. Would recommend.

Great staff and huge selection of board games and RPGs. Large play area with tables and chairs setup where you can demo games or play your own. Staff is very knowledgeable and ready to answer any questions. Highly recommend this store for your gaming needs. D&D adventures league is on Tuesdays and Thursdays and its a great time.

One of the best stops in Concord! They have a great selection, awesome and helpful employees and some fantastic events almost every night of the week!

Ive been here twice and both times, the employees have taken time to either sit me down and go through the players handbook for 20 minutes or look up some info for me. Very helpful and knowledgeable!
