We started working with R-Computer when we decided to upgrade our system. To upgrade we needed new computers and to dispose of our old ones. We also wanted to get rid of old wires and make our building look smooth. Ethan set everything up: from our new computers, disposal of old computers, clean up of old wiring and installation of new wiring. Sean installed our new computers and helped us set up our new system and everything ran smooth. Everything was much easier than I had anticipated because of their help and prompt answers to all our questions. If I could rate them higher than 5 stars I definitely would.

Ive been buying all of my computer equipment from R-Computer for more than 20 years because its superb, extra-effort customer service always guarantees I get the right equipment for my needs, as well as rapid support for routine maintenance and deadline problem-solving.Recently, I needed a new printer. Over the course of several weeks, Ethan Ting worked with me, listening closely to my answers to his questions about printer needs, work habits, long- and short-term goals, budget, etc. He researched the H-P product line and came up with the perfect printer for me: an H-P PageWide Pro 477.What a beast! Its like trading in my parents 1950 Mercury for a new Bentley or Rolls-Royce. Powerful, Quiet, elegant, a perfect example of form following function. Installation was a snap. I then printed some documents and photos, and compared them with prints from the old H-P (a good one, but ancient ... ) Wow! The difference was stunning. I never would have found this printer on my own or by wandering through one of those big-box obscenities.Ethans service was far above and beyond anything a competitor could offer. He went out of his way to make sure I got the printer that was right for me, not the most expensive one, a cheap pile of junk or something the manufacturer was pushing. Holy cow! Can you say IT crisis management?! After several almost sleepless nights relating to my system resources being zapped and countless hours of calls to Microsoft 365 support, I was able to get my system going with the help of Ben at R Computer. I was greeted with a fabulous cup of fresh brewed coffee in their beautifully appointed lounge while my desktop was upgraded on the spot. I found my savior for IT sales & service. They are the best. I was going to try a big box competitor but then I thought, how can I be assured I am going to get a technician that is actually knowledgeable? Walking into R Computer, you know instantly that you are being well cared for. I made the right choice with R Computer. This is the Nordies of IT services.

From start to finish my experience with R-Computer was great. Ethan Ting did a great job directing me to the right hardware/software. The product was delivered by Brad Charchidi on time and as promised and he backed up and installed the existing software and data onto the new system with any issues. The invoice was timely and correct and I worked with Rhonda to easily pay the invoice with my credit card.

There is never a good time for a problem with technology. Most recently, upon upgrading my desktop and laptop to Microsoft 10, all my technology went nuts. Ben got me squared away and back in service in a couple of hours -- as a walk-in!R Computer consistently provides me rapid service at a reasonable price. Whether by phone, at the counter, or by remote service, technical staff are capable, dedicated, and excellent communicators with non-techie types (like me). I purchase all my PC computers here and highly recommend R Computer to others.

Wow! What great service at R-Computer! I brought my laptop in for repair as I had heard good things about them. Not only was the staff extremely friendly, but they also offered me a coffee while they did the paperwork. You just dont see customer service like that any more. As far as my computer repair, the staff was clearly knowledgeable, and they diagnosed my machine in one day and had it repaired in less than 3 days! Wow! Thanks again R-Computer. R-Computer provided excellent service. I had some hardware installed as well as some software and the staff made sure what of I required and gave me advice that assured that my computer met my needs in addition to being cost-effective. I highly recommend them.

We have several locations throughout California and numerous employees. Mike is always on the ball with our neediness around here and keeps us running smooth so we can work at the office, offsite and from home. Besides being excellent at his job, hes a genuinely nice man. Ive never met Tom in person, but Ive talked to him on the phone on many occasions and hes just as pleasant to work with. R-Computer is the go-to small business fin Contra Costa County. They have always done a great job for me and I cant say enough good things about them. Today I somehow discovered my laptop charger was missing and my laptop was out of juice. I tried calling other places and no one could get the ac adapter in time for presentation (yes the only copy was on this laptop). R-Computer was able to find one that worked for me and didnt even charge me for it because it was a used one. I offered to pay them but they refused money. My company uses them almost extensively and I can see why. Ed and his team are really awesome and have always done a great job for us.

My Lenovo Idea Book (laptop) had been totally useless for a long time. Went to the Geek Squad and was very disappointed with their service. Found out about R-computer and was totally amazed by Keith Mundts expertise and pleasant treatment of his customers. Moreover he showed me a quick fix for my computer. Its now working fine and I didnt even spend a dime on it. R-Computer is a great service company with knowledgeable and customer friendly staff. They will be my computer service company from now on.

I had a very good experience with R-Computer. I drove from El Cerrito, not knowing if I was just wasting my time or going to get the help I needed. Lucky for me, it was the latter. They were able to pull the data I wanted off my badly corrupt PC running Windows XP. I was given a thumb drive with the files I needed, took it home, and loaded it on my new PC (Windows 8.1). It was that easy -- 1 - 2 - 3.I would (and have) recommend R-Computer based on their expertise, efficiency, professionalism, courtesy, and reliability. Their price was very reasonable too!

I was referred to this repair shop by a friend for a virus scan on my laptop. Not only is their store front absolutely beautiful but their service crew is extremely knowledgeable. While the technician was examining my computer I was even offered a cup of coffee or juice while they investigated the problem. My notebook was plagued with popups, viruses, malware and super slow. The tech suggested the virus scan/tune up package which includes diagnostics of all hardware and told me the average turn around time was about 3 days......WOW, super fast. Not only did he call every day with an update but the repair was completed a day early. Will definitely come back and tell all my friends.
