Great bakery! Their cookie selection is outstanding. My favorite was the maple shortbread.Coffee was also delicious and fresh, and prices were reasonable.I loved that they had World Peace Cookies, which is a recipe from a Baker I adore—Dorie Greenspan.Pay a visit, you won’t regret it.

Nope, no doughnuts. But, I had a 🍑 peach muffin and a good cup of coffee. Im not a fan of muffins, but, it looked good. It tasted good 😋 and I could see pieces of peach 🍑 inside the muffin 🧁. Other pastries, 🍪 cookies and treats available. It looks like they do large orders as well. I saw people leaving with big containers. The also sell local wall photography and paintings. You have to pay for those with a personal check. The pastries you can use your debit/credit card.Masks required. No indoor dining. You can just buy a pastry and, weather permitting, sit in front of the State Capitol building and enjoy the view or read a Hippo 🦛📰 newspaper. There are many Hippo 🦛📰 newspaper kiosks along North Main St. .Stop in and give the bakery a try. Friendly service.

I bought a 10 chocolate raspberry and a 4 vanilla smash cake for my 1 year olds birthday party and everyone was super impressed with how great the cakes looked and how delicious they tasted! I am excited to try more items such as the blueberry whoopie pie, cookies and coffee. I highly recommend!(Decorations were added by me)

One of my favorite places in Concord. I’m a good baker so I’m usually pretty picky about what baked goods I buy, but everything here is amazing. It was also one of the few places I felt comfortable visiting in person during the pandemic before I was vaccinated. I ordered my daughter’s birthday cake here last year and it was exactly what she wanted - they even custom-tinted the frosting to her favorite shade of teal and put sparkly sprinkles on it at her request. The brownies and the lemon and lime bars are my favorites, but I’ve literally never had anything that I didn’t enjoy. They are great about food allergies and the staff is always friendly and fast. Also love all the different Pride cookies they had in June!

Considering all of the other 5 star reviews maybe I got them on an off day. I went there based on those reviews looking for a cake last minute. There was a beautiful one in the case. It was chocolate raspberry with vanilla frosting. It was the only one available so I took it. Eating it was such a disappointment. The cake looked very wet but was actually dry and seemed like it was somewhat stale and very spongy. I didnt realize it wasnt a traditional buttercream frosting which was a huge letdown. But I didnt ask either. It was some sort or cloyingly sweet creamy frosting. Pretty sure I wont eat any more of it either. The place smells amazing and the people are super friendly but their cake is not for me.

I have eaten well beyond my fair share of delicious calories from this gem. I travel an hour and drive by numerous other bakeries just to get my hands on ANYHING that comes out of their kitchen. I would describe everything I have ever eaten as pure magic. My entire family (immediate and extended) and MANY friends have joyously eaten the treats I bring back. Their goods have graced our birthday parties, baby showers, and holiday tables and will continue to do so. Alison is an incredible person and amazingly gifted baker who takes such pride in her work. The team of people she has amassed are wonderful and helpful. The only way you could have a bad experience here is if you dont actually know what good food tastes like.

They have an extensive selection of different baked goods. They also have quiches. I was in the mood for an afternoon tea. I was there closer to the closing time so not as many choices but nonetheless sufficient to make one . I ended up choosing a blueberry apricot whoopie pie never had such a thing and it was very good and I also had iced coffee which two was nice and strong. definitely worth a place to check out!

I have eaten enough from this bakery at this point to feel comfortable giving it a review.Everything I have eaten from here is spectacular. Seriously, everything. We are lucky to have them here in Concord. I’m sure Alison and crew would be one of the best bakeries in Boston, too.If someone brings you a box with their logo on it you know they really like you, deep down, as a person. So feel good about that. And maybe bring a friend a treat sometime.

Scrumptious pastries and fantastic service. I love the splendorous staff. Mallory is like a mother to me, Amanda never fails to make me smile, and Patrick is always a 10/10. That boy always be chefing. That’s just to name a few. It feels like a second home to me. I can always count on my boy pat to chef the heck out of my cardamom loaf. The oatmeal cream pies tantalize my taste buds. I can always count on a silky smooth, refreshing latte, especially from Patrick. That boy can grind beans like no other. I eat sleep and breathe the crust and crumb. I live laugh love the crust and crumb. The pumpkin spice lattes in autumn are unrivaled. The focaccia tastes as if pizza took a semester abroad (in the best way possible). I wrote my college essay about the crust and crumb. I got into Harvard. My emergency contact is Chef Patrick. The crust and crumb isn’t just a bakery. It’s a lifestyle. That’s all for now. Peace and love ❤️

Delicious goodness abounds in every season at this local downtown treasure. Our go-to for the best gingerbread folks in the winter, the tastiest berry delights in the summer, and delectable whoopie pies all of the months! The staff are kind, welcoming, and community-oriented, and the treats are consistently top-notch.

What an exquisite little bakery in downtown Concord! Stopped by today for some amazing quiche and ended up going home with a jumbo box of top notch pastries. Oh, and did I mention all the breads? Holy cow, I was in heaven.Staff was super sweet and helpful. There are a few small tables to enjoy your treats as well. A few coffees and teas to choose from, as well as an assortment of beverages in the fridge.

Highly recommend the delicious food and coffee served by very friendly staff! We tried a quiche, an apple tart, several shortbreads (stracciatella, lemon, maple), a baguette, cappuccino, and a dark roast coffee. Every item was fresh and scrumptious. Huge selection, too! Definitely worth a trip from anywhere.

Their baked goods are great except for their cakes (I noticed other reviews said something similar so what is going on here?). I ordered cakes from them for two occasions (a birthday and an anniversary) last October so I can say this confidently - the cakes here are not good. The frosting tastes like hardened Crisco or like youre eating nothing but a stick of butter. Im not sure what theyre using but it is, quite frankly, weird. The oatmeal cream pies and whoopie pies, however, are outstanding. I just wouldnt recommend dropping $30+ on a cake from this bakery. If we had tried the first cake for our anniversary (10/22) before ordering one in advance for my brothers birthday (10/28), we NEVER would have ordered a second one. Our experience was disappointing and we threw the second cake in the trash after one slice. Im glad I remembered to review this place because our experience last fall was a ginormous waste of money. Im still frustrated that I paid for cakes this disappointing. I could have purchased cakes from Walmart and they would have been better than the ones at Crust and Crumb.Edit: In responding to the owner below, I think the solution is simple here. You have multiple reviews from customers over the past year expressing disappointment in your cakes, from the frosting to the dryness of the cake. The best remedy you could provide for future customers is to change the way you make them or to stop making them altogether. Your pastries are excellent but the cakes are inedible. Time to either make some improvements or trim the fat from the business. Not sure why you wont listen to your customers. Maybe its easier to hustle money for expensive cakes out of people first in hopes that they dont mention anything than it is to do some quality control..

ZERO STARS! Unwelcoming, rude, unprofessional! We ordered our sandwiches, and as soon as we sat down the cashier came up to us and said that theyre closing and we need to leave. (Initially, the cashier asked if we wanted our food for here or to go, we said for here, as we came to have a short bite to eat before flying out). We asked if the person minded if we ate quick and they said no, they need to lock up right now. The worst part is when my sweet mother said this isnt nice to do to customers. The person said well, Im sorry that YOU FEEL that way. The cashier went on to be rude and even followed with theres a sign on the front door. The cashier took zero accountability for selling us food for here, we have never felt so unwelcome. Working in the food industry for years, I never would treat my customers this way. What a way to end an already short family visit.

A lovely little pastry shop on main street in Concord. Ive been a customer there for a few years now and Ive never had a bad experience. Their quiches are always quite delicious and come in many varieties, as do their whoopie pies. They have a decadent chocolate flourless cake which Ive always seen available. Another one of my favorites is their olive bread. The staff is always courteous.

Food is really REALLY good there. Lots of choices. There’s one woman who works there though who was rude to one of my friends who is diabetic who was just trying to get a sugary item as he was having a really low blood sugar. He was standing in line on his phone waiting for the people in front of him to finish their order when she came over to him and said “are you being helped?” And when my friend responded with “no I’m still waiting” he was met with attitude and was told “well I didn’t know you were just standing there on your phone.” That is something very unprofessional to say to someone who’s first time it was in the establishment. I understand people have bad says but at work you leave that stuff at the door.

All I can say is: disappointing. We special ordered a lemon strawberry cake for my daughter’s birthday. The cake was super dense and dry, bordering on stale. The buttercream frosting was like eating a stick of butter. The best part was the strawberry jam. We were just so disappointed. Not sure whether to throw the rest away or whether the bakery wants to see what went wrong?Update: The bakery reached out to us and gave us a gift card for the cost of the cake. The cake wasn’t good, but they made it right, so THANK YOU CRUST AND CRUMB.
