Liked the store, but the womens dressing rooms do not have chairs or seats of any kind. Unfortunately I was unable to try on the jeans I was looking at. This cost to store to lose a sale ... and there were other women there that did the same. I would hope that management at the Sun Valley JC Penney will see this review and rectify the problem.

I love the children section. Im always on the hunt for different disney toys, especially during the holiday season, and I always leave with something.I also get my hair done in the JCPenney salon, just a wash, trim and blow dry cost me $70, I was charged $10 extra for having long hair.

The store was very clean. I was able to get quick assistance when I needed it. I found exactly the clothes I was looking for. When I waited it the check out line. Another cashier came out n to help, so I was able to check out with my purchases quickly. That is really appreciated!

The store was neat and organized. There were plenty of staff to help. Everything was well marked. Holiday music filled the air. Every cash register was staffed. There were no lines or crowds.

Ordered online, received email the item was ready. Told where to pick it up, but the poor guy working there couldnt find it.After much delay, he went upstairs to retrieve it from the department.Why they didnt bring it down when they sent the email is beyond me.

Not crowded, they have socially distant protocols in place. We found what we wanted by searching the internet first then we were able to go in and go out quickly. The sales woman was great!

I gave only 1 star because of the pick up and customer service at the pick up. Beyond that, the place was abhorrent, different product items strewn all over the place. I didnt l even accidentally stepped on a folded shirt on the floor.Honestly with this place if it had an eatery of sorts, Id be worried for it. The place is reminding me of two Gordon Ramsay shows (at least the start of them before theyre transformed for the better) Kitchen Nightmares, and 24 Hours to Hell and Back. The store is that bad off, doesnt matter if its right after the holiday season, or that JC Penny is a major corporation. Ive personally seen major corporations file for chapter 11 for less that this. This store is that bad.The place used to be way better than this, however now its like one of those places you shove someone for punishment if you never want to see them again. Outside of the pickup area from online, the customer support looks like they can only stay at the register area and thats it, like theyre not allowed to leave those areas in order to clean the place up. Its like corporate refuses to give the store the budget to hire people in order to keep the store looking nice and in line. Doesnt matter if the store is the end cap of a mall, each store is dependent on their customers. You can only go for so long with one customer base type, if you lose that base, then you should adapt to keep things going, if you dont, you lose and the pace dies. This store needs to do that.

Bought favorite hair product, great price, great curbside pickup.

Third floor is now the Home Store, which is nice. Not too overwhelming, like at the stand alone store. Another check out clerk is near the shoe department and thats great too. Hope that will improve wait times, especially with the holidays already upon us.

Curb pickup is not as logical as I would have thought. Depends on having everything in your phone, but I was able to make it work.

I was an excellent experience. We found everything we were looking for..

There is now only 1 fitting room. On the other side of the store in lingerie. Only two checkouts with long lines. You can not make returns at the checkout even if you’re making a purchase. The cashiers are nice but it takes so long to shop there that I’d rather shop on line.

Found some pretty outfits and dresses for a great price at the discount section. I spent $140 and saved $300

I love this one hate the last one I went to. Im still hurt by the last store and dont know how to go about it. I loved the service I got today and just wanted to say it. The service I got today was better and left me happy doing what I needed to do. I will drive here and not go to others stores if employees keep making it not worth it.

👍. This department is huge. I suggest you visit when you have time only because of the stores size. Its floor size is moot because the arrangement of products makes it easy to navigate Theres a large selection to browse. They have high-end brands to bargain items through the store. Customer service is excellent.

My family loves, loves, loves JCPenneys. You practically get paid to shop here. Between their coupons that are online or taken to the store, and anything that you might find on sale while shopping is combined together and the discounts are amazing. The store itself is well-stocked. We came in the evening so there werent a lot of customers and we didnt find a lot of sales clerks. But the ones that we found were knowledgeable, helped us with our purchase and we were soon on our way. And save a ton of money. So now we have quality clothes, our bank isnt empty and were happy.

We take our family photos at JC Penney Portrait studio. We have been doing this for so many years that the ladies know my children and even remember some special and different photo shoots. It is fun to get the natural and spontaneous photos of every day and it is also fun to have some posed shoots. Would recommend.

Recently Remodeled and looking better, all in all a well rounded nice shopping experience. The associate at the counter was friendly courteous and made the checkout process hassle- free.

I love JC, they have many sales on clothes. I would suggest to shop for off season clothes for the best proces. For example now it being summer their are still a lot of left over clothes from winter in the clearance section downstairs. Many of the brand names are 50% off. And if your looking to stock up on summer clothes for the next shop in the winter.

This place has definitely been going downhill over the years. The selection is not as good as it used to be and the service definitely needs to be better. My last visit they were very rude about the coupons I was trying to use. Definitely try avoid coming here myself

Management is poor & signs of discounts not applied & cashiers cant change the price without Management over ride, which leaves you standing in line an extra 15/30 minutes. Very bad customer service

I love this store, i thought i was using it as a gateway to the mall. Their sales are unremarkable, i had to take my bags to my car, and then i used a different entrance to the mall. The only complaint of mine and other shoppers is the line to purchase items is ridiculous especially in the mens department

There was one fitting room for the entire first floor. Check out was ok, just slow.

A Mad House. It was hard finding an employee to ask any question. The lines to check out were slow. Prices were ok, the quality on the other hand was less than expected unless its a known brand. Overall decent prices, quality varies tremendously and youre on your own.
