The chocolate here is delicious, especially white. The sculpture, which is in the photo, is completely made of chocolate, its great. But as for handmade chocolates, which, as they say, were made together with a chef with 3 Michelin stars, I was completely discouraged, they were absolutely not tasty. I am disappointed π£
Attended a chocolate making class at this location, which was a lot of fun. Got to make a whole tray of a great selection of chocolates. Nice store and gift shop area too. Class was registration only and was packed. Sign up for their email subscription to get all of the details on events.
Very friendly staff! Took my kids in the tasting room and they loved the light to dark chocolate choices...very informative and professional...will recommend for some fancy chocolates! My daughter ordered chocolate cover marshmallows and a white chocolate dipped pineapple. My son ordered peanut butter taffy and we all went to the tasting room full of chocolate after! So yummy!!!!!
I went here with my wife to take a chocolate decorating class and i have to say that the best chocolate you can get is the one you make yourself with the best ingredients. The class was very fun and not overloaded with jargon or directions to take away that youre PLAYING WITH CHOCOLATE! after the class we purchased some chocolate covered oranges which are so delicious. The chocolate is just enough to counter the candied orange slice and make for a great after meal snack.
My mother ordered from here with anticipation of good service and a great product. They failed horribly which is human and we can respect that. Its when you get no response or call when they discover we had a bad experience. We never received the product and they blamed it on the shipping company. Come to find out all was in line but yet no reception of goods?
I have seen this Groupon offer for years and received this as a gift. My teenage granddaughters went with me and it was wonderful. So much fun and so interesting. Im not a big chocolate fan, except for Sees but this is the closest to it. Very informative and a load of fun
Take the dipping & decorating class! When we have guests, we bring them. Great fun!
This is a hidden gem. We always go here every year to get their unbelievable apple to pass out as Christmas gifts to associates and clients. While weβre here we pick up other goodies too. They never disappoint.
We formed a group of 25 people and took the chocolate making class at Rachel Dunn. Not only was it fun but we learned so much about the history of chocolate through the centuries! Best of all was the Chocolate tasting room where we learned how important the amount of cacao in the product is. Hersheyβs is WAX compared to the quality of Rachel Dunnβs chocolate. I highly recommend a visit to this delicious place.
If you want quality chocolate, this is the place to go. Perfect for gifts or just a secret stash for yourself. They really care about what goes into the chocolate so you will always get a great tasting product.
Love Rachel Dunn Chocolate. I visit once a year on or about Valentines Day. It just happens that way, not planned. Great Carmel Apples, Carmel clusters, Carmel popcorn and more.
This is more than chocolate, its a stunning experience in taste and visual! The Amazing Apple is awesome, the peppermint cookies take you to heaven.AND - you must do the Hot Chocolate (with the sprinkled marshmallows). This was my go to gift to family and friends who love yummy decadence!
I used to work here for a temp agency. No nonsense, kind staff, kind owners, great chocolate good candy and good apples. This is a great place. You can watch them pull taffy too. Its pretty cool.
The best chocolate ever!! Nowhere else will you find two people more devoted to the art of doing pure chocolate correctly. Who else buys the beans fresh, and makes chocolate from all over the world? And wonderful people too!
I have done a couple of chocolate workshops here with friends and family, and it is always a blast! You learn a lot, get to taste different chocolates, and you go home with all the different types of goodies you made. Great place to shop for any gift giving occassion or just go and treat yourself to quality confections.
Excellent local chocolate. The giant apple is a staple for my familys holidays. Would like to see more variety of treats that my pallet prefers. Victoria nut roll is also yummy.
Fabulous experience taking a tour of this chocolate factory. So kind. Excellent attention to individuals. Delicious chocolate! Taste test of chocolates made onsite from cocoa beans imported from all over the world. They take the raw, beans, shell them, roast them, grind them, everything onsite. The chocolate is so good. So creamy. The best quality. The tour is in a single room with large windows on two sides. After an explanation of how the chocolate is made we had a taste test of chocolates. Delicious.I look forward to coming here again.
Tasty candy store. Saddly I felt the quality had decreased in the last 1.5 years. However, still a nice little for goodies!
Great chocolate but I wish they were still doing samples of everything, not just select items. All and all I highly recommend this place, the staff was super friendly.
It was amazing, we did a class on making chocolates and had so much fun. Great place to pick up specialty treats and supplies for making chocolates
The Giant Apple is super fun. The other items can be a hit or miss. Always friendly and attentive staff
Great chocolates, friendly staff, reliable shipping for gifts. Super caramel apples!
I went for the candy making class. It was well organized and fun.
So much fun packed into an hour and half that you can stand! Highly suggest a Friday evening class with your sweetie!
The associates were Very friendly and helpful, they had Lots of samples and the chocolates are of the Highest quality!!
Have been a fan of Rachel Dunn chocolates and their Amazing apple for a long time but finally got to come in to do one of their chocolate workshops.A group of 25 of us were brought in, given aprons hairnets. In back we were led by chocolatier, Michael Dunn through a series of dipping techniques to create an assortment of chocolates ranging from cremes to mints to caramels and more.Four of us work around a bowl of tempered chocolate along with some interesting toppings to create the masterpieces. While the chocolate sets, we try out an assortment of Rachel Dunn chocolate pieces and some cacao nibs, very cool! Overall a great experience for the full price of $55 but check GroupOn to see if they are running any special deals...
Superb quality chocolate. Everything is made in house. The chocolate making classes are so much fun for everyone.
Wonderful and unique chocolates! The samples are fun as well. The store is bright and cheerful and the edibles are beatiful too!
Great shop & the owner is really passionate about artisan chocolate and teaching!
Did the chocolate making class with my family for my daughters 16th birthday. The class was fun and the chocolate delicious.
Everyone on staff is friendly and theyre very passionate about what they make. What I really admire is that they wont put a product on their shelves unless if it isnt within their standard of quality.
Delectable chocolate delights. Classes for those interested in crafting your own amazing treats.
Chocolate of highest quality, enjoyed taking a class. Most of all enjoyed eating the chocolates made in class and purchased.
Among Best Bay Area Chocolates, specialty in darks of varying cocoa. Excellent variety and quality. Home of the original GUANT chocolate carmel wrapped apple. Toffee & truffles-- best anywhere.
Its a great time. When I went it was with the chocolate making groupon. Its definitely worth it at a discount. The main chocolate maker leads the class and in between telling you how to make chocolate he explains why they use the ingredients they use, history of cohocolate, and his company. The bad part is that now I dont like some chocolate I was ok with because it suffers in comparison.
Great locally made chocolates, no sugar free tho.
They have the best bonbons i have ever had.
I took a tour got to try the chocolate warm and see the 150 year old grinding stone.so tasty
I won a contest on Claycord. The contest was for me and friend to go to Rachel DunnsChocolates in Concord and make goodies. I didnt know what to expect, but the place was so clean, the people so nice and the chocolate so good!I will never buy Hershey again!
Fun class through Groupon. Friendly staff. Thought the introduction slide show was a bit cheesy.
The class is fun the caramel chocolate apple is a must!
Wonderful chocolate creations. Great for everyday and for gifts.
Fantastic customer service and fair prices! Reccomend!!
Wonderful experience. I wasooking for particular apple so sales person took extra time to look for me
Ive never had a more frustrating experience with a Groupon. They wont let you take the class if you have a nut allergy, which they never said on the Groupon.I tried to go in and utilize the fine print on the Groupon which clearly states that the promotional value expires, but the amount I paid can always be spent at the store. They refused to take it. They claimed they would help by calling Groupon, but they never did. After a few months Im left very disappointed with Groupon and Rachel Dunns chocolates. At this point, theyre too difficult and out of the way to bother with any more. I had to dispute the charge as they failed to provide a service after taking my money. I have nothing to show for them but a lot of frustrated phone calls. I cannot recommend them at all.
Omg im so sorry my sister got onto my account sorry about this
I felt like the people were on training there. Chocolates were a bit pricey.
Great prmium chocolate and other candies.

A fantastic chocolate experience. From making it yourself to seating it. Yum.
