Last Friday October 1st put an offer in on a 1960 Rolls Royce Silver cloud the offer was accepted. I then called back to see about the deposit they didnt pick up the phone so left a message and sent a text saying the same thing... the following day I get this text:Would love to take a deposit but someone has agreed to buy the car as is... What I believe they did is play my offer against the guy that purchased it after we already agreed to a purchase price this is a very shady operation stay away!!!
Selling my father’s Classic car could not have been easier. On their website they even posted a video of the engine running! I was impressed at how efficient and hassle-free Streetside is. I think my family received much more money for it than we could have advertising it ourselves...without the hassle!
This was my first time purchasing a vehicle from a consignment dealership. Streetside Classics North Carolina did an excellent job throughout the process. Matt B. was very professional and responsive throughout the process, and described the vehicle through video and conversation that made me feel at ease with the purchase. Although I did not get to physically see and test drive the vehicle prior to the purchase, the vehicle checked out to be mechanically sound. Thanks Matt!
These guys are great. Have good relations with delivery companies so I didnt have to call around. The car was everything they said it was. They even had a video of the car online to view. Ill keep these guys on my radar when I look for another car. What a great experience. First time buying a car sight unseen. But with all the great communication, photos and video it really wasnt unseen!
Best place to put your classic car on consignment! Straight forward no BS process! This is the only way to sell a classic car and get top dollar, and best of all they do all marketing, communicate with buyers, and arrange financing if needed. I highly recommend it!!!! The only peeve was I felt they could have communicated a little better after a couple of weeks. Basically no communication for 40 days, then BAM, a text that its SOLD :)
I had the pleasure of dealing with Tray B.At the Charlotte sales office, he gave me outstanding customer service and was a pleasure to work with, thanks again highly recommend this company
Everyone was very welcoming from the start. Our salesman helped me find the exact car I had been looking for. The cars we wanted to see were brought out for us to drive to make our final decision. The dealership was up front about the condition of the cars and that we were buying an antique in “as is” condition. We felt we paid a fair price for our 1965 Mustang and will be back for our next classic car purchase. The warehouse is like a museum, except the cars are for sale. You can spend hours just looking at the inventory. Overall, we had a good experience and would recommend Streetside for classic car sales.
What is there not to like when you are walking amongst some of the greatest cars ever made. Friendly staff. Place is spotless.
Somewhat disappointed. salesman showed little knowledge towards the vehicle I was interested in, seemed to constantly shoot from the hip while trying to answer any questions. test drive was only allowed around their parking lot. while every other vehicle seemed to be highly detailed this one definitely wasnt. When asked about it, he responded that it could be wiped down prior to delivery I was completely ready to buy cash money but this kind of customer service and his lack of complete answers to what should have been easy questions is what turned me away...if you shop here expect little more than a take it or leave it attitude.
Cool car, way over priced. There is a consignment place in Atlanta that bllw this one away. I saw a few very awesome broncos but there was a black one that was like painted over rust and dents and still priced like it was perfect at $54k. So go there if you like to look but dont go expecting too much.
Staff was excellent, extremely helpful and informative. I would highly recommend going there for any classic car you might want or just to look around. Its amazing how many beautiful vehicles they have in this show Room!
My purchase experience was nothing less than stellar! Matt was very easy to work with. I had a PPI completed on 04/21. The lending referral (Lightstream) was approved same day and funds were available 04/22. The carrier referral was also excellent. They picked up the vehicle on 04/23 and it was in my driveway on 04/25. Ellen did an awesome job getting the title to me in a timely manner. I highly recommend this source for classic cars!
My wife and I recently bought a 40th anniversary Corvette convertible from these guys! It is truly a beautiful car very clean and in order with very low mileage. The sales manager Michael Catignani was excellent to deal with. We appreciated all he did to make the ownership transition a comfortable one. We look forward to the possibility of working with Michael and Street Side Classics again in the future. Theres always another car!!!This place is definite eye candy to the car enthusiast. You wont be disappointed.Thank you for all your help in buying!J&JFranklin, NC
Overall experience was good. Mathew Lamb my salesman was very helpful and responded in a timely fashion. I was a little disappointed in the shipping broker Streetside supplied me. It took about a week to get the car delivered and it was only 300 miles away.
Started my search for something different. Lead me to Streetside Classics. This is my first purchase of a car that is special and thought it would be a fun experience. Picked up my car and drove it home (about 50 miles)Pulling into my driveway the car was leaking coolant really bad and the fluid was boiling in the reservoir. It was too hot to touch and late so I decided to wait until morning. Checking the oil for head damage (it did not thankfully) I noticed the car had way too much oil (about 15 quarts turns out)and it was leaking from the car as well. Decided to check all of the fluids at this point and found an empty power steering reservoir as well. Had it towed to my neighbors dealership. It sat there for 2 weeks as he went through tightening loose bolts and trying to find out why the power would not shut off resulting in a dead battery if not kept on charge for more than 2 hours. When I picked the car up finally he mentioned that 2 tires only had only 12 lbs of pressure in then when it got there. Not only was this car not safe to drive (as I have to completely redo the brake system now but in fairness it was an as is deal) but I get no help or support from Streetside Classics. I have sent text for help and information about the car and no response. I acknowledge my as is purchase and take responsibility but I its really difficult finding parts for a car you have no idea where to start. They have a great thing going but I would advise they hire a mechanic to at least make sure the car is safe to drive home in. As a small business owner I cant afford to not get my customers all of the information they need to be happy with my product.
Ive always wanted a C5 Corvette (1997-2004 for non-Corvette folks) in Dark Bowling Green metallic but they only made less than 500 in 2001. After years of searching, I found the perfect C5 at Streetside Classics. The car was low miles in mint condition with a few tasteful upgrades (Lloyds embroidered floor mats, Borla Touring stainless exhaust system, K&N cold air intake, and a few interior items).Ok, I found the right car, but what about where I was buying it? I couldnt find one from Corvette club members and none of the Chevrolet dealers had one. That left, specialty resellers. A few of them had cars but the pricing was way over the top compared to market pricing and the quality of those cars left something to be desired after spending my valuable time looking at them. Luckily, I read the reviews on Streetside Classics. Personally, I was impressed by how they treat their customers, fair market pricing, and top-shelf quality cars. So, I jumped at the chance and bought it.The staff at Streetside Classics helped me through every step of the purchase process. Streetside was professional, courteous, and responded promptly to all of my questions. They recommended Lightstream for financing...saving me hundreds over my local bank and credit union. We drove from central Florida and when we arrived, my car was just stunning without ANY disappointments. And, this particular car had original documentation making it more valuable to Corvette enthusiasts like myself. After an impressive tour of their showroom and warehouse, we drove it home. And, what a drive...fun and without issue.Thank you in advance Streetside Classics.
Streetside has sold two cars for me over the past couple of years and both transactions were great! They kept me apprised every step of the way and worked hard to get me the best price. I would highly recommend them whether you are selling your car or looking to buy one!
Thanks so much Derrick Proctor for the time and persistence you took to sell my Jeep CJ7 😄😄. Hope the new owner will enjoy and love her, as I have since I have owned her. Now on to my Brand New Jeep Wrangler JLU Rubicon or Sahara model 2020 or 2021 model. Thanks so very much .😄😄😄
Selling a modified car can sometimes be quite a hassle. After struggling to sell my car myself for over a year I decided to trailer it down to NC to give Streetside a try. The dropoff process was simple and they took some amazing pictures of the car and wrote an enticing write up to lure in buyers. The car was easily findable on Autotempest, Ebay, and simple google searches. It just took some time to find the right buyer and with a few phone calls from the staff to answer some detailed questions the prospective owner had asked. The staff called me to make any updates needed while the car was there and when it came time for the sale it only took 3-5 days for them to receive my title, send out my payment, ship the car on an enclosed transporter and my check arrived by the weekend. Glad to have one less thing to worry about and let them take care of the tire kickers. Thanks again!
I want to thank Streetside Classics, snd Derrick for the professionalism and courteous that was shown to me in handling the sale of my late husbands classic cars. They took the worry out of selling the cars. Derrick explained the selling process, and I was pleased to know I didnt even have to leave my home to sell the cars.I could not be more pleased, and I highly recommend Streetside Classics to anyone wanting to sell a vehicle..
Great experience. Matt was very professional and very informative on the 1982 corvette that I purchased last week. Streetside Classics is an awesome place. I call it a toy store for men and women...I will visit in the future.
Michael, Matt and all the other staff very helpful in my purchase, answering questions and assisting me off hours as well. Payment, paperwork all very simple, help with my delivery and performing checks on vehicle I was buying when had questions. Overall a very good experience. There were some aspects of the purchase that they had no control over but they helped out as much as they could which was nothing they had any control over.
Great selection of classic cars. Shouldnt have taken my wife with me. Now she wants an old Mustang!
Super smooth transaction car sold quickly. Derek was great to deal with.
Clean and seemless process from the initial phone conversation, pick up of the car, advertising and sale. The entire team was on point through it all. Absolutely stress free....Thank you
Great, found vehicle on website and it was as described. Matt Bedard was very helpful and courteous when I went to look at the car and with the purchase and delivery.
Fun place to visit even if you are not shopping for a classic car
We had such a wonderful experience buying our very own first classic car at Streetside Classics. Brian Barr helped us and he was just great. He was so talkative and personable. He made us feel at home, and treated us like he had known us for years. Making this sort of purchase was very exciting and nerve wracking for us, but he made everything go smoothly and successfully. He has also continued to be helpful through the whole process after taking the car home. We also worked with Michael for a short period of the actual transaction. He was as wonderful as Brian. They all are very experienced and very kind. We highly recommend Streetside to anyone looking to make their classic car dreams come true!!Photo by Skyler Brown Instagram @adornmentphoto
Everyone was so helpful and explained all the details well. I want to thank everyone. I highly recommend your services.
Amazing place. Beautiful cars in a hassle free environment! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable when you engage. Worth a trip to find your classic dream car!
Excellent experience working with Streetside Classics to sell my vehicle. They provided timely updates and worked with me on pricing the vehicle. When they sold the vehicle I brought them the title and they handed me a check on the spot. I definitely recommend Streetside classics.
Great experience. Car was exactly as described.
Recently bought a truck from Streetside Classics cant say enough good things about them very professional excellent communication I am more than satisfied very highly recommend them
I recently purchased a 1955 Studebaker President at StreetSide Classics in Concord North Carolina. The experience was excellent. Tray Brawley did a great job. He made the paperwork easy. it is a little more complicated for a classic car than a new car. Im excited because this is the car that I dated my wife in for three and one half years. She died just over 3 years ago. I was able to surprise my kids with it. It was a great Christmas present to myself and them. There are a few minor things that I need to do to the car, but that would be expected. The main thing is putting in seat belts and a driver side mirror and fixing a right side exhaust leak near the motor. I highly recommend StreetSide Classics as a place to look for your classic car.
Very professional staff and easy to work with. Sold my vehicle in less than 2 months and had a great experience with them. Will definitely use them again in the future.
These guys are top notch, I called with a request and they came through and exceeded my expectations. Matt Bedard took care of all my needs and made me feel like family. Thanks again guys!!!
Contacted Zegin by email a few months ago about consignment of my car. Within the hour we have come to an agreement and set up delivery date. Majority of my communication came via email due to my work schedule. To my appreciation, Zegin always returned my emails and texts within minutes. My classic sold quickly and was finalized with check in hand the very next day. The whole process was easy and took all the hassles of sale by owner and placed it on them. I would highly recommend giving them a shot at selling your classic ......
Large inventory of cars. Friendly and knowledgeable sakes staff. Very nice building.
Im very disappointed in the the car I was going to buy ☹ nothing like the pictures, it was a rust bucket, no information on exactly what drive train, etc way over priced
This place holds cars on consignment. ALL are for sale. If youre looking for a hot car..plan a visit here. You wont believe your eyes!
My husband and I visited Streetside Classics in Concord, NC on a trip in February. We had been wanting to take a tour of the store for a long while and we were very impressed with the selection of vehicles. Sales associate, William Shelnutt made us feel welcome and readily answered any questions we had. It was incredible to see the many different makes and models of vehicles packed into the showroom! We will definitely be back!
After retiring I began looking for my dream vehicle, searching for over 2 years before I found it on the internet. I contacted Streetside Classic and drove three hours and met with Chris Mapel. The vehicle was everything I wanted and after Chris helped me negotiate with the seller - the deal was done. Never happier !!!! Thanks Streetside Classics......
Very nice place with a beautiful selection of cars to choose from. William did a great job helping me through the process, he got back to me quickly with any questions I had and did a great job negotiating. Even though I did not purchase a vehicle at this time he is helping me in the near future to find my dream car that better suits my price range.I highly recommend checking this place out and working with William Shelnutt.
I recently sold my third car through Street Side. Each sale went smoothly. Their communication is excellent and I believe they get a fair price for the seller. Ill be bringing a fourth car out shortly
I put my fathers Oldsmobile on consignment mid December and it was detailed, marketed, and sold within a month. Team Matt made this an easy and enjoyable process. I highly recommend this as a seller and for buyersThey have consulted me on other vehicles I have for sale and they only accept high quality classic vehicles. Great selection of classics. From initial consultation with Zegrin to closing with Ellen, a good experience
Always good food friendly service fast
My experience with Streetside Classics and William in particular was top-notch. Extremely professional and informative!Would do business again!
Excellent experience start to finish. I’m sure they have a lot of “tire kickers”, but everyone we saw were treated great. We purchased a significantly modified Chevelle. Some other reviews complain of issues with the cars they bought etc. The vehicles are classics, they are not new cars. Mike and the whole team went well above and beyond. We feel part of the family there in all honesty. Thank you for a great purchase and experience!
Took me down memory lane.Never saw so many 70 Chevels in one place.
Painless consignment process managed by professionals. Look no further if you are trying to sell your classic car.
Working with Streetside Classics and William Shelnutt has been a great experience in finding the right vehicle for my wife and I. William has been quick to respond and always provides the right information for all of our questions. Buying a classic vehicle is a process that requires a great deal of trust. We feel that William and Streetside Classics provide that and we’ll continue to work with them as we explore all of the options.
Sold 2 cars for me in 2019 advertised widely sold quickly very happy will use them again when needed
Lots of cars, however could not get a salesman to help me. Young man moving cars was very helpful.
Amazing warehouse, Brad was unbelievably knowledgeable and helpful and really made our day.
The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable! Showroom is amazing! If you have any interest in classic vehicles and can make your way to one of their showrooms, Id highly recommend it.
I love this place, great cars, and you are able to get up close with all of the cars!
Consumer beware. Before you purchase a car, look over it very carefully. We purchased a car and will end up putting thousands of dollars in it just to be able to drive it. Youre not able to test drive it outside the parking lot. If it says runs good and drives great, dont believe it.
Very professional group I would use them again. They made the process smooth and quick.
Very happy with the entire process end to end. They worked with me on a few options. They ensure that they sell quality vehicles. Will actively recommend Street Side Classics to all my friends.
Excellent buying experience from top to bottom. Helped with every aspect of an out of town purchase; from helping with an independent inspection, to arranging for a ride from the airport, everything was top notch.
We went on 9/10/16 and signed the guest book. Love this place! Well lit, the cars are arranged so you can easily access them. They dont come up to you and make you feel uncomfortable. They let you look around and take some pictures. Its a very nice, clean atmosphere. Well done and love how close it is to us. Cars are beautiful and in all price ranges. The best part is the big American flag hanging as you walk into the ware house.
All salesman and salesladies outstanding. Upfront dealer no hidden agender. BEST of all bought a classic, great price and staff Knowledgeable on affordable transportation right to your garage!
Very professional and I recommend highly. Would use them again .
Seeing cars with William was excellent. One of the best retail experiences I’ve had. He took me through the collection, was patient, knowledgeable, professional and honest. Streetside Classics is a great spot. You get the chance to see 50+ classics so you can really compare one to the other which you can’t do usually. I know if I bought off Craig’s list I would have gotten something that wouldn’t have been a perfect fit just because I had no comparison. I went in thinking I would look at one thing and ended up buying a completely different but awesome car. Went in for a 69 chevelle came out with a 75 bronco 🤩 I would recommend going here if you’re in the market for a classic, I drove in from Asheville. Oh, also, William made it happen in 24 hours. 100!
Brought my car into the Concord location after driving 45 minutes to inquire about putting it on consignment. Eventually someone asked me if I needed help. I asked for Matt Lamb. Matt took my car and inspected for 20 minutes or so. We didnt come up with a number but Matt advised me that he would do some research and contact me. Well a month later NOTHING! Very disappointed. Poor customer service and I will not return nor will I recommend them!
Great place to buy or sell a classic car.Very friendly, very knowledgeable.Great selection. 😁
With the customer service you guys have I bet you dont sell too many cars, very rude. Ill never consider even taking a look at anything else you have to offer.
If you are looking to sell a car, let Streetside Classics take care of you. They are great to work with, and treat you like family. I have sold a couple cars through them and have had all great experiences. I highly recommend them to all my friends and car collectors alike.
A beautiful showroom and amazing selection of classic cars/trucks. Fun to spend an afternoon here checking out all of the cars and we love bringing out of town visitors here too. Streetside Classics is top notch!!
Lots of cool classic cars and it drips with oil, gasoline and history! We loved it. I’m not sure if the prices are negotiable or fixed. Most of these cars are going to be weekend drivers and will require significant pampering. If you are looking for a classic daily driver you won’t find many of these here. But it is an awesome place to visit. Friendly employees also.
Streetside Classics - Charlotte has an outstanding showroom and great selection of classic and modern cars to choose from at a variety of price points. Matt Bedard was the salesperson we worked with and is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Definitely highly recommended if youre in the market for a classic vehicle!
Everybody I talked to was a great experience .Smooth transaction. Always there if I had any questions. Highly recommend them !
I am an auto transporter. Picked up a 1962 Chevy corvette convertible from here. Literally just a few miles down the road, the roof flies off onto the highway. Turns out the bolts were missing that supposed to hold the roof down. I call the manager that released the car and explain to him what happened. He tells me that I am fully responsible for the damage. And since the car is in my possession, it is my problem now. Then he calls my office and says that he is making an insurence claim against me. I ran half a mile on the rain and back to my truck carrying this roof on my shoulders. Made sure it’s bolted properly. Surprisingly the roof got only a few scratches. Really tried to make it right and help out with the situation and what I got from Streetside classics was rudeness and mistreatment.
I had a very positive buying experience with Streetside Classics-Charlotte, N.C. Facility. The sales staff was knowledgeable, courteous, and very responsive.I found the classic muscle car I always wanted and had it bought, delivered, and in my garage all within a 7 day time frame!
Having Streetside Classics consign my car was the best possible decision. Their expertise and marketing power made it quick and effortless. Great customer service. I recommend them to everyone looking to sell a vehicle!
Really awesome customer service and very knowledgeable about their inventory. Had a great time looking at everything!
If I ever have 40k in my pocket i would love to buy one if these gems!
As a car lover this is always a go-to place. Strolling around and looking at the old and custom automobiles brings a smile to my face each and every time.
I traveled from the east coast do a pre-purchase inspection/appraisal on two cars here for two different clients clients. One client was local to me and one was in the UK. I was at the AZ facility and then Charlotte to look at cars. Great facilities, wonderful cars and described well. My clients both purchased cars. A+++++
Everybody was so very nice and helpful during the whole time our car was in consignment. Folks were very patient whenever we wanted to lower the price and, thankfully for us, the car sold in almost exactly 6 months. Wed definitely recommend Streetside for anybody looking to buy or sell a classic automobile. Thanks.
Matt Bedard is awesome! He helped me with an issue I had with a vehicle that I purchased on Craigslist. He truly went above and beyond by helping me even though it wasn’t something he was going to profit or gain from. I’ve been into their showroom several times and the staff is always very friendly and the cars are awesome. If I ever need anything in the future or if I’m ever in a position to buy a vehicle that’s already restored I’d definitely work with them!!
Great experience all around. Worked with me on every aspect of the purchase even helped set up shipment for the car to another state. Highly recommend!
We had a great buying experience with Michael C. at Streetside Classics in Charlotte. I highly recommend them and we would buy from them again. Top notch facility and people!
I was new to the classic car world so I wanted to deal with what I considered a reputable dealer. I did my homework, so I thought. I dealt with the sales manager for the Dallas/ Fort Worth showroom. After knowing what I was looking for he recommended a specific vehicle that would meet my needs and desires. He explained that I would need to fix a few minor things like wipers, emergency brake, and heat and air. No problem, we negotiated a price. What he didnt tell me and I didnt find out until it was delivered to my home was that none of the gauges worked, it leaked oil from everywhere, it ran hot quickly and always the rear speakers for the radio were blown. These were things he should have known if he had really driven it like he claimed he had. I am not a mechanic and I found these things very quickly by myself. $20,000 later after fixing all the things he didnt tell me about I finally have a daily driver classic vehicle I love. Point of this story is beware, proceed with extra caution because they do not clearly or correctly represent the vehicle and the owner does not care.
Pleased with Zegin (Charlotte) and his team in getting the one of my classics sold. I felt like we got a fair price and it was a very low hassle process. Highly recommended.
Having worked with Streetside Classics for both selling and buying a car, I can highly recommend them if youre looking for that special vehicle, as well as getting excellent customer service. After consigning a car with them in June, 2016, they knew what I was looking for when I was ready to replace it. Michael called me as soon as a car came in matching my criteria, and Matt went above and beyond throughout the entire buying process. Ellen also made the paperwork and title transition very simple. Streetside follows through on what they say theyll do, and always respond quickly to phone calls and emails. I couldnt be more satisfied!
Mike made my initial experience better and I’m happy with his service and restoration of my faith in their business.
Good to see. But R-K Motors are higher end cars. And appear to be better restored and cleaned.
