Granite State Candy is a good ole Concord staple! I grew up w/the store down the hill from where I lived. Wed go Saturday mornings, when young, and buy 25 cents of a favorite and 50 cents of another...Now Im old and grey and buy $25 of an old favorite... and let me tell you Jeff Bart has done an incredible job keeping up the quality of EVERYTHING!! Thank you Jeff for keeping an AMAZING icon blazing forward!!

One of my favorite places to go in Concord, and its right next to Tios if youre looking to grab dinner after getting some unbelievably awesome chocolate and candy. I wonder if anyone remembers, back in the day they used to have a big bin of broken candy you could buy at a discount.

Stumbled across the candy shop sand stopped in for some ice cream. I got the Flapjacks and Bacon flavor which is called batter Ive cream with maple syrup and 🥓. Amazing! My wife got the something with berries and Graham cracker chunks and loved it. They have a huge selection of candy as well but we went just for the Ive cream this time. Friendly staff. Nice benches outside for enjoying the treats in the shade.Now that we know this is here well add it to our itinerary in the future!

Sad to see that they sell the same load of bulk candy that every other planet lines the bins on their walls with. Not a horrible selection of Chocolates. The biggest problem is their SKY HIGH PRICES! You can go literally anywhere else in New Hampshire that sells the same stuff and get it for half what this place charges.

A good selection of chocolate, sweets, and maple syrups, and we liked everything we bought. They dont have a lot of dark chocolate over 55%. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the store was a lot later than it looked from the outside. They did use artificial vanilla in some of their chocolate which is disappointing.

Didn’t even know this store existed. Make sure you are full before entering. Going on an empty stomach = an empty wallet. So many home made treats to choose from.

This is the best candy shop and definitely the best candy shoppe. When you walk into the place, you get punched in the nose with a sugary fist of sweetness. The place smells so good youll want to lick the walls like that one scene in Willy Wonkas Chocolate Factory, but they will politely-but-firmly ask you to leave if you do.The sheer variety of candies they have is impressive, but it wouldnt matter if they were all terrible, which they thankfully are not. I highly recommend the truffles.The ice cream is amazing too and then you can wonder out to Bicentennial Square to enjoy it where the people watching is incredible. I once saw a photo session for two furries out there and if you dont know what that is, I envy you.This place is perfect for Valentines Day, birthdays, and also all the other days because you dont need an excuse to eat candy. The staff is friendly and helpful unless you lick the walls, which again, is not recommended.

Stumbled upon this shop when we asked a local for a recommendation for ice cream. We were not disappointed. It was so good we stopped by on our return trip from Maine to Virginia. Home made ice cream flavors stand on their own (coconut snow flake and coffee toffee) which we had in cones our first visit. Make your own sundaes on our second visit was the highlight. So many candy and sauce toppings to choose from. Yummy.

I love this shop, as do all my out-of-town guests! From chocolate moose to foil wrapped Santas and handmade candy canes, there is something for everyone! The truffles are great, and their roasted nuts are amazing. Gotta go again soon!

Most Of The Staff Is Not Exactly The Most Friendly People To Buy Product From. A Few Months Ago There I Was Greeted By A Cheerful Young Man And He Was Able To Help Me With Where Some Products Were. Havent Seen Him Since Then There and that was the only time I was greeted by somebody friendly. The Place Is Sometimes Jammed With People And Is Not The Most Lively Place Out There.

If handmade sweets is preferred over mass produced options you will not be disappointed. While I cant speak to all the choices, the items Ive left with continue to bring me back. I am only able to have Sugar Free candy and it is tough to find good Sugar Free items. I stopped in at this shop while traveling through Concord. I purchased several items and sampled each over my first few days back home. They are all wonderful and fresh. I am so pleased that I can order on the website with a very reasonable flat shipping fee. Granite State Candy Shoppe has a new fan / customer.

This is just a great, local candy shop. If you even have a tiny bit of a sweet tooth, you owe it to yourself to visit.The candy itself is all the reason youll need, but seeing the old molds and equipment, plus perhaps watching the treats being made makes it even better.

Granite State has the most delicious milk chocolate! Stop by before any holiday and load up on local chocolate that is seasonally shaped.

They have a wide variety of chocolates and candy as well as ice cream this location has view of three kitchen where you can watch them make their items fresh they do have a place to sit as well as a limited toppings bar for ice cream they have a big selection of gummies to they also have a friendly staff on hand to answer any questions you may have

This place has the best ice cream AROUND!! I got the Coffee toffee crunch (which is my staple ice cream) and I probably wont go anywhere else for it! It tasted just like the OG version of Ben and Jerrys coffee toffee crunch (before they went with free trade). Both my kids and my hubby were extremely pleased with their ice creams too!! Soo soo happy to happen upon this gem! Theres candy galore as well! Gotta check this place out, I cant imagine you being disappointed!!! ♡♡Youll probably see me there 🤣🤣🤣

Be careful ordering during the summer months! I received my chocolates which were melted. These were a gift for someone and it was an expensive disappointment! Everything was wrapped correctly but it was just too hot out.

We have had Granite State Candy sent to us as a gift for the last two Christmass. We have had the chocolate, fudge and peanut brittle. It was terrible. I think the chocolate that the kids for school fund raising was better. We were really disappointed both times.
