Visited the book store because I want to support local and independent book shops. I went in this past weekend asking if they had plans to highlight Indigenous writers before Indigenous Peoples Day, the tone-deaf owner had an argument with me about how Braiding Sweetgrass was not Indigenous thought and philosophy but rather he considered it a plant book. Yikes. Needless to say they will not be highlighting Indigenous writings this year before the holiday. If you want more copies of Little Women etc. great.

I lived in Concord for a while and I went to the bookshop as often as I could. Its such a wonderful place with a good choice of books. You can wander around without feeling rushed. Its a beautiful little bookshop to visit and buy great books. The staff was always friendly and helpful. I really liked going there.

This store is much bigger than I was expecting! They had many books in all genres that I had on my want-to-read list. I could have spent all day in here. Love it. Will be back.

This is THE bookshop to go to! They have everything nestled and neat on the shelves and tables but most importantly is the friendly and knowledgeable staff. Browsing books and finding just the right one is a personal experience and these ladies make it special!

This is a wonderful bookstore with a pleasant staff. They always have a great selection in stock, but if they dont have the book youre looking for, theres a quick turnaround if it needs to come from their warehouse. If you see a book there, buy it there. Shop local!!!

I love bookstores and think it is important to promote small businesses by shopping in them. The first thing I heard when I came in the store was Welcome. Can I help you? I found a number of books I was looking for and a few that I didnt know about that looked interesting and that I purchased. There were some other books I had on my list that were not on the shelves but I am certain that the store would order the books if I asked them to. Also, there is free parking in Concord Center at this time to encourage folks to patronize the businesses and this also makes shopping there a positive experience.

Concords a town with a rich literary history, and the towns independent bookstore is a delightful trove of local history, popular fiction and non-fiction, and a moveable feast of cards, ouzzles, posters and stationary. The staff are all well informed and happy to share their knowledge in a low key way. And if what you want isnt on the shelves? Theyre happy to help you build the pleasure of anticipation by special ordering it.

Every time I come to Concord I try to stop in this wonderful book shop. The kids section is fantastic and I always seem to find the perfect read for the season by exploring the shelves. The staff is exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable as well.

Wonderful bookstore! Im interested in US and international history and politics and this store had a better selection in those categories than Im used to seeing in most bookstores. Also Concord, MA is where Doris Kearns Goodwin lives! Basically any book they have by her is autographed.

What a cute store with excellent staff and selection! I was very impressed when a staff member was asked by a patron about a book and she knew instantly which one the person was referring to. The patron did not know the title, author, or anything other than a very brief description of the books topic.

I love dropping in after work. If you have friends and family who are readers, you will always find the perfect gifts here. They have many interesting titles on sale as well.

Incredible independent bookstore with a focus on local authors and of course new England history. String childrens through teen section as well plus excellent targeted arts and cooking. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly, a difficult balance they pull off well.

Love this local, independent bookshop. They have really great selections with local flavor and the booksellers are knowledgeable, willing to make great recommendations. Fantastic inventory of current titles: only downside is they seem to manage inventory by having more limited selection on older titles (with some empty shelves in the back), which is a shame since I would buy those there if I could (of course, they will order them.) Highly recommended stop for your stroll through this lovely New England town...just allow enough time to get lost in the great literature :)

Great bookstore! More of a curated selection than every book ever, though Im sure they can order anything you want. Well organized, and the books they choose to stock are excellent--things I, as a reader, didnt know or was excited to see. Wish I lived closer.

Very expansive. The front of the shop doesnt look big, but it is huge comparitively. Great staff willing to chat and the selections are awesome. Being a book store in the middle of Concord, you get some lively customers too.

What a darling gem of a bookstore! I could have sat in there all day long. Theyve got a great selection of childrens and adult titles (though their YA section is a bit small for my taste). But its a gorgeous little bookstore! Support your local indie!
