Cashier was horrible and would not sell to me since I had an out of state license from Georgia because it was store policy. My cousin was from NH and he wouldn’t sell to her either. Her boyfriend was able to buy alcohol because he had already rung him up but he was also from NH. Do not come here if you are from out of state even if you have a valid government ID and are above legal age!!!! 👎👎👎👎👎

Cashier would not let me purchase a 6 pack of hard ice tea because my fiance did not have her wallet here. I provided ID as the buyer and we are clearly above the legal age but he refused to sell it to us.

I’ve never had a worse experience in a liquor store. I’ve been several times, and purchased without a problem, but this particular occasion was informed my Connecticut license was unsatisfactory identification. While I wasn’t thrilled, my in laws (who live locally) came in and offered their IDs to finish the purchase with my card.Well, the cashier charged me for an additional two bottles of the liquor, and offered no receipt. Luckily I happened to notice the transaction was significantly larger than it should have been and insisted it was made right.What REALLY got me though, was when I went in to get my refund, it was asked if I wouldn’t prefer a purchase to a direct refund. It seems my Connecticut ID would have worked just fine when faced with having to give money taken without proper authorization BACK to a customer.Horrific customer service and shady transaction all together. Watch the cashiers and insist on a receipt.

Great selection of wine and spirits with one of the best selection of microbrews around, lots of help and very competitive pricing. Always a fun stop.

I wish I could give no stars. The rude lady at the counter wouldnt sell me anything because I was from another state. She acted very aggressively towards me and I was startled considering Im a regular customer. Never had this problem before. I suggest they fire that lady quickly.

Terrific selection of wines in a very compact store. Prices vary, but are overall pretty good. Staff are very helpful. Ill definitely be returning.

You get almost everything here. Storekeeper is such a sweet guy, helps you out with almost everything. He searched for a carton casing from his stores and packed it all by himself as I said I was travelling.You get discounts almost every single day here. Good collection as well.

I have been a customer of West Concord Wine and Spirits for eight years. The store is perfect for finding the more unusual gifts and placing special orders. My most recent (today) is a special order for a case of 24 mini-champagne bottles. The staff not only placed the order for me, but promised to deliver it to my home at no extra cost. NOTE: I dont drink alcohol myself, but I still enjoy shopping for family and friends there.

My recent visit to West Concord Liquors Grand Wine Tasting has left me feeling extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome in the store. The owner of the store seems to enjoy teasing/bullying me into purchasing something whenever I visit the wine tastings and, up until very recently have more or less taken it in stride, but I still feel some degree of pressure. Indeed, I purchased a $20 bottle of rum (not my favorite) at a tasting last year as I felt pressured to do so. I visited the wine tasting last weekend alone as my husband was home doing work and I have no friends to join me. As I was visiting the various stations, the owner(no surprise) approached me and said that he hoped I was going to buy something and that he had hiseye on me. Again I took it in stride, but texted my husband just the same to come over soon so that we could purchase something as I felt some degree of pressure. I visited all of the stations only ONCE while I waited for my husband and ONLY drank white wine selections. After visiting all of the stations and still no sign of my husband, I waited outside of the store for him as I did not feel free to leave until I purchased something. After a while, my husband finally showed up and when I walked back in with him to show him the wines I liked and to possibly have another one or two tastings to confirm, the owner approached me and asked me to turn in my glass. I was shocked and embarrassed! I was neither inebriated nor causing a disturbance. I had mostly been keeping to myself, waiting for my husband and having polite conversation with one or two acquaintances that I saw there. However, the owner treated me like a garden variety alcoholic. I felt I was in a no- win situation that afternoon. If I left the store without buying something, I would have been reprimanded, but when I waited around for my husband so that we could buy something, I was treated like an individual who had a problem with alcohol. I want to make it perfectly clear that I do NOT and NEVER have had a drinking problem, but that day the owner treated me like an alcoholic and thus, I am now too embarrassed and ashamed to enter the store.

This our favorite wine store in the state. Great selection and super knowledgeable staff that always has a good suggestion for any occasion or pairing.

We used West Concord Liquors event service and had a great experience. The folks on the phone were very friendly and helpful. They took a detailed order, estimated quantities for us (we had plenty of everything), delivered and picked up the unopened bottles at the end so we only paid for what we used. They did forget our gingerale at first, but we just called to let them know and they brought it over. They had everything we asked for including some fancy scotch, Pimms, and our favorite off the beaten track beer. They were really easy to work with; Id use them again happily!

Good choice of french champagne. Some good Piedmontese wines from Italy.

This is a wonderful store with a uniques selection of special wines. These wine are selected not only for quality but for price. I have been going here for years and rely on my wine guy Chris Saia who has learned my taste and price point. He will direct you to a wine that is the best value rather than the highest price. They also have lots of specials at very affordable prices and wines that have the highest value. I do not shop anywhere else. Highly recommend.
