I ordered the terry cloth fitted sheet and am looking forward to its use for when baby arrives. It’s soft and thin and fits perfectly. It’s nice to have backup sheets and this one will do the trick for sure!

We are so excited about our BabyBay! This product is going to make caring for our little girl during the night so much easier. Well made and thoughtful design.

My son was growing out of his basket bassinet in about two months and we really wanted something to keep him closer to us so decided to try the baby bay. It has been a perfect transition. It is a great in between size from newborn in bassinet to a crib, but we could’ve even use this straight from birth. It’s beautifully made and I love that after you no longer need to use it as a sleeper it can be converted to other things. Definitely recommend! It has been so nice being able to have baby at arms reach and he sleeps very peacefully and was easier ti get him deep sleeping.

This review is about the ease of assembly and the appearance and quality of the piece--our baby has not quite arrived, so I cant speak to functionality yet.We purchased the Babybay bedside sleeper maxi (and accompanying mattress, mattress protector, and sheets). We knew that we wanted to use the bedside sleeper for the first several months, so we got the larger size, and it definitely looks spacious (we also got the converter rail so that we could have her sleep separately from our bed if need be).Pros:I love that this is German-made (would have been okay with anywhere that has strict environmental and safety restrictions about what chemicals/finishes can be used on childrens furniture, but am definitely comfortable with German regulations for that). We got the natural wood and it is a beautiful, light, almost lustrous finish (pictures in review). It is very easy to assemble (one caveat listed below) and it is very sturdy once its together. I love that its convertible for so many functionalities.Cons:I dont understand why the pieces that connect the converter rail have to be so strange. Everything about the piece fits *perfectly* and symmetrically, and then randomly these connectors leave an asymmetrical gap when you attach them as instructed. Pictured below. Also, as much as I do like the look of the natural wood when compared with the other finishes on offer, I would probably have picked a painted one if there had been a greater range of colors.In exchange for this review I got a free mattress sheet--nevertheless the opinions expressed here are my own.

Our babybay side sleeper is our favorite. Our little one loves sleeping in it and the height is perfect for our bed. We bought the organic sheets and mattress protector too since he had a few nights where the sheets got wet. We love there arent harsh chemicals and allows him to sleep next to us. Highly recommend.

The babybay bedside sleeper turned out to be exactly what I needed for my baby. I love that it can be right against and aligned with the height of my mattress for easy access to the baby for night feedings. The main reason I wanted to give this a try was because it’s non toxic, which was a priority. My little one was in it for 6 months no problem- she was comfy and had enough space. I have recommended this product to friends and they are extremely happy with it as well. My second is on the way and I can’t wait to pull this out again and have her sleep safely and comfortably within reach :)

It was really easy to assemble and we love that is made of untreated wood because it blends perfectly with our bedroom decor. Only downside would be that we bought the original one but our bed is 25” high and baby is still not here but I believe the bedside sleeper will be slightly short so if your bed is close to 25” I would strongly suggest you buy the Maxi Tall.

Two weeks in to using the babybay Original cosleeper and am loving it. Post csection, not only is it great to have baby so close beside me for nighttime feedings (easy lifting in and out!) and general peace of mind, having a sturdy frame has the added benefit of helping me sit up or scoot down to get out of bed or readjust positioning to nurse. Only complaint is that the top of our bed (top of the mattress) is at 25” exactly and so the sleeping platform is lower than the top of our mattress. Probably should have gone with the Maxi Tall but didn’t want to have the longer model. Will adapt by attaching the wheels but leaving the whole sleeper still latched to our bed.

I wish I had discovered Babybay sooner! I love the look, the quality, and the adaptability of this bassinet. We were in desperate need of a bassinet with a higher weight capacity as our little one has been growing fast but not ready for the crib. Babybay was very kind in working with me to make sure it shipped out quickly and got to me when I needed it. Added bonus - it was easy and straightforward to put together, so I could do it with my 2 month old watching! I know so many items for baby I was glad to have and set up before his arrival, but this was easy enough and great quality, I could get it done while also “mom-ing”! I’m looking forward to being able to adapt it and use it as a daybed and bench in the future as well!

Hands down, best bedside sleeper. It sits flush to the bed which will make it so easy for nighttime feedings and changing. The natural wood and simple design makes it easier to look at and blend in with the other decor, unlike a lot of the other bassinets out there that are plastic.

If youre looking for a bedside bassinet thats non-toxic, this is the one. Setup was easy, and it looks great. It comes right up to my bed just like I wanted. I wish they had a non-foam option for the mattress, and that bedding other than their own could be used with this bassinet, but its still the best choice as far as bedside bassinets go. I did notice they sell more products/options in their EU line, which I wish they would extend to their US products.This was a recent purchase so I will update my review if something negative comes up down the line, but for now Im very happy with my purchase and recommend the bassinet!

I am from Germany and I am familiar with the Babybay from my circle of friends. We are expecting our first child and to get a bit of home feeling, we ordered the extra bed incl. mattress, mattress protector and lattice in white. The assembly was super easy and now we are excited in the next few weeks, how useful the Babybay Beistellbettchen is:)

I just got a Babybay for my second baby so that we can be as close to bed sharing as possible but still following safe sleep guidelines! I havent had my baby yet but I am so excited for our new sleeping arrangement. The sleeper is so beautiful and well made, and I love that it can be used as a bassinet as well. Very easy to put together too which is always a plus!

The wood is very smooth and sturdy! Im very glad after all my research that I went with this co-sleeper. I love that its adjustable and can work with a frameless bed (uses resistance plates instead of frame latches). Baby seems to enjoy it too, which is the most important thing. Hopefully you come out with kits to convert it into a desk/bench/etc. after its co-sleeping use is over! I heard they have those in Europe...!

Babybay was so helpful and prompt when I needed to fix an error I made in my order. They corrected the problem promptly and even had my order shipped sooner than expected which was helpful because my delivery date was moved up. We’re very excited to use our bedside crib and expect to get a lot of use out of it!

Ordered the beautiful Babybay side sleeper in natural for my daughter. The company was great to work with and quickly answered my emails and kept me updated on the delivery.

After doing a lot of research on different bassinets and cosleeper options we decided to go with the babybay and we have loved it so far. We used a pack n play with our first two kids and this is so much more convenient. Its a great size and I love having my baby right next to me. I also love that there will be an option coming to turn the cosleeper into a crib.

We got the babybay in natural as a gift and its absolutely lovely. It snuggles up right to the edge of our bed. Were very happy with the way it looks, fits in our (small) bedroom and functions.

The babybay bassinet was hands down one of the best purchases we have made for our newborn. I would definitely recommend getting the wheels because they make it so easy to move the baby from room to room while she is sleeping. The bassinet is of great quality and easy to assemble.

We have a babybay Maxi with bassinet conversion kit and rolling casters. This has been working really well, since we can move it from the bedroom to the living room during the day. Babybay has high-quality products which are worth considering if you think it works for your situation and budget.

I ordered the Mattress Protector and the Organic Jersey Sheet for my BabyBay Maxi co-sleeper. Putting everything on the classic mattress can make the mattress bulge up a bit, but when I place it in the co-sleeper and press down, it flattens and it seems ok. The sheet feels soft and nice. I wish it was ok to tumble dry it for faster changes, but it clearly says that it is hang dry only and I plan to follow the instructions.

Baby isn’t here yet but we love the Babybay bedside sleeper! It’s small and convenient for the size of our room, and love that it’s eco-friendly and chemical free. Can’t wait to use it :)

We love our Babybay Bedside Sleeper! Its the perfect co-sleeper for our newborn baby to be right beside us in bed but safely sleeping on their own. It makes middle of the night feedings a breeze and the design is absolutely beautiful. My husband had no issues assembling it and attaching it safely to the side of our bed. The mattress is firm as it should be and we sleep sound knowing our baby is sleeping on the best!

I have loved our babybay! One of my favorite things is that it can be used after my baby can no longer sleep in it - as a table or bench in her bedroom! One little piece broke during shipping but babybay was very responsive and quickly sent a replacement piece - it was fast and easy!

This product is well made and does its job well. The only issue I had was getting my kid to sleep in it, but I dont think thats their fault. Hopefully kid number 2 will do better!

This bassinet is wonderful, and their customer service is the best! I bought a halo bassinet with my first baby, but he never really slept in it because I couldn’t put him down in it without him startling awake. The three sides on the baby bay are a much more effective design, which allows you to slide the baby while still holding him/her close, preventing the startle. New moms: buy this.

I got the Maxi. Good amount of room and much softer mattress options than others I’ve tried. I’ve managed to get baby out of Dockatot and finally onto another surface!

I ordered the Baby Bay Maxi/Maxi Tall in Natural. It is ABSOLUTELY GEORGOUS and the quality is top notch. You can see it just by looking at it. My husband and I are using it as a co sleeper for the first six months and it is perfect. I love not having to get out of bed and walk to a basinet somewhere else in the room. I can simply lean over and grab baby without ever getting up. I highly recommend all things Baby Bay - especially if health and non toxic materials are important to you!

First of all, let me just rav about babybay as a company- they saw that my due date was before the item that I was after was back in stock, so they reached out to me to let me know so I could order something new instead. Therefore I ended up ordering the maxi co sleeper instead and it has been a dream. We ended up having a 9lb 22” babe, so the maxi was a way better choice for us. We also have two other kids who are 4 and 2 and still end up in the bed with us for various reasons- so having our babe outside of the bed but right next to us is amazing. I’m very aware of clean products and have tried to purchase only that way for our new babe- so the babybay has been a win-win-win all around.

So glad I discovered BabyBay! I was looking for a bedside bassinet that would basically function as a co-sleeper, and soooo many of the bassinets I found still required me to get up and reach into the bassinet for baby (such as the one I used for my first son). This one attaches right to the bed, so all I have to do is roll over and grab baby.

Love this Organic Jersey Sheet...it is perfect for your little loved one...it is soft and cuddly and free of dyes...I have bought three sheets for my grandson.

The Babybay bedside sleeper has been a lifesaver for my second baby. I considered getting it for my first baby and I wish I had. Its so wonderful to be able to have such easy access to your baby throughout the night but not have them directly in your bed. I can easily reach over and see/feel that hes okay. When he wakes during the night I dont even have to get out of bed to take care of him. And I feel good knowing that hes safe in a non toxic product. This has definitely made the rough early newborn days a little bit easier, which Im very grateful for. Great product and great company!

Babybay Original Organic Sheet - SO soft and fits tight on the mattress.

I ordered a beside sleeper/bassinet from Babybay as my baby Bjorne bassinet did not work for us. I am nursing and wanted a bedside sleeper but non toxic choices are basically non existent. Except this. It came quickly and the quality is amazing. It is large but esthetically nice. Even in our small room it worked great (I ordered the maxi as well). I use it with the organic snuggle me to transition. The customer service is also on point. There was a piece damaged and the company responded immediately and shipped out replace parts. I have nothing bad to say about this bassinet... go for it!

Significantly better than a bassinet as it allows easy access between mother and baby without any walls. Still, it optimizes safety and removes danger that is stressful in other co-sleeping arrangements. Would highly recommend, especially because of the longevity of being able to turn the bedside crib into a full crib for a toddler down the line in 2021.

We purchased the Babybay Bedside Sleeper and we absolutely LOVE IT! The design is simple and beautiful. The US Babybay customer service was flawless and very responsive! Shipping & delivery was quick. Pro tip: Get the bassinet conversion kit and extra wheels. This makes the crib moveable. Weve been wheeling it around the house. While we’re still expecting the arrival of our little one very soon, I can without a doubt say that the customer experience with BabyBay is phenomenal. Great quality bed side sleeper!

The babybay works great for us. We use the maxi version incl. the rolling casters (would recommend if you want to switch rooms on the same floor). The materials seem very high quality, the wood feels great and very smooth. No smell (untreated color). It will be interesting to see how long the bed fits, Id recon it works for the first year or so before you need to go bigger. We also bought the jersey sheets, they could be a tiny bit bigger to reduce the hazzle when changing them. Overall a great product, would definitely recommend.

This is the perfect bedside sleeper for us. We do not have a traditional bed frame and needed a sleeper that didnt require room under the bed for the legs. This sleeper pushes right up to our bed and keeps baby close.

Loved the crib and mattress I bought this as a gift for my sister for her first little one!! Wish I thought of this for myself when I had my little ones! Was a little nervous to see the mattress it looked like it was going to be super thin but when it came in it was the perfect thickness!!

I spent a lot of time looking through cosleepers on the internet, and just couldnt find what I wanted. Only a few co-sleepers were even tall enough to work with our bed. I finally discovered babybays wooden Co-sleeper (Maxi tall) and Ive been using it with my son for a month now. It has worked extremely well and was easy to put together. This is on top of being attractive and eco-friendly. The customer service was also extremely helpful and quick to respond when I had a problem with a later order I placed.

Love this bassinet!!! It attaches to our bed and makes us feel so close to our new baby. We also have a king bed so we sleep with our heads perpendicular to the bassinet, so we both get to enjoy the proximity. Incredible quality and craftsmanship. Definitely would recommend!

The bedside sleeper is perfect for my bed which is low to the ground and storage underneath. It’s modern design is beautiful and fits in nicely with my decor. And it was really easy to put together.

While my order for the natural finish co-sleeper was back ordered for more than a month, the babybay was very responsive to my queries about when it would ship. Beyond the inventory considerations, I have to say that the co-sleeper is beautiful! I love the natural finish, which is so hard to find with co-sleepers and bassinets, and assembling it by myself, the instructions were easy to follow and the co-sleeper was super easy to put together, and it feels very secure. Love it!

Customer service is every bit as fantastic as the product itself. We love having baby sleep so close in the night and it looks nice to boot! The adjustable height makes it great for any bed size and add-ons are well worth the extra cost. The fact that it’s also up to US safety codes also helps us sleep at night knowing our little one is safe. Would buy again, but likely won’t need to since it’s built to last. (Although we might need multiple if we ever have twins? God help us if we ever have twins...)
