Actually brought 2 cars to them in 1 week. One of the repairs was complicated--repairing fuel line for a 2000 car. Really appreciated their creativity: the right part was not available for a 21-year-old car so they made a fuel line themselves that worked. Good quality work at a reasonable price, with excellent customer service.

Had assessment done for the airbag warning light staying on while driving. Appreciated getting me in promptly at 8:00am next day because I had to wait while the service was being done. Got the job done promptly and the issue was identified correctly as a defective clock spring tape cable under the steering wheel.

Apparently family run, friendly car repair. Have brought both of my cars there, and been pleased at their speedy and competent service. It is a bit out of sight; look for the long driveway that appears to be between houses; it is in fact between houses, and goes back to their shop. The shop itself is clean and professional looking, and is staffed by a friendly boxer, as well as some hoomans 😎 who do the car repair while the dog does the relationship management. Very impressed with this mechanic. A few weeks ago the A/C in my 2014 Subaru abruptly stopped working. I brought the car here and they quickly diagnosed the issue (broken A/C compressor). They put in a new compressor the same day and it is working as good as new!They were super nice and professional, and the price was reasonable for a factory part. Its great to support a women-owned business, and they have a very cute Boston terrier. Ill be going back!

My family has had Concord Foreign Motors service our three cars for years. I knew they were honest and decent people many years ago when I had a Volvo Lemon needing repair and they advised it was not worth it to do, due to prior faulty repairs from Import Domestics in Acton that caused damage to the turbo, and the magnitude of the damage. Their candid assessment saved me a bundle. That was years ago, and we switched to them after that and have been more than pleased with services to all of our cars. They have guided us and assisted us beyond what anyone would spend time on, and we appreciate their professionalism and decency. Some things to consider is that they have been in Concord more than 20+ years and have an excellent reputation, there is no high turnover of employees, and you cannot thrive in a small community if you dont do good work.

I use CFM for all repairs on my Volvo 2009 S60. The last repair was to replace the rear brake assembly. Ive never had a problem with CFM in the 9 years Ive used them. They always use Volvo parts which I appreciate.

We were staying in an airbb down the street when we noticed a rattle in the front end. So first thing Monday morning we brought it in. We were driving back to DC that day. They were incredibly accomodating, squeezing us in early and fixing the problem. Amazing service. Highly recommended!

Service was perfect! My 2010 VW had a bad alternator. They got me in quickly, confirmed the issue and I had the car back the following day. In additional they let me know about other issues which might need attention in the near future. Concord Foreign Motors has become my go-to place for anything that has to do with my Volvo XC60. They are knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Sarah, the owner, is the best and now during the virus she has made it very safe to to leave, pay and pick up your car. I just had 40,000 mile service done and it was done quickly and the price was reasonable, much less than going to a Volvo dealer. In addition it was convenient as I was able to use a loaner car free of charge.

Was a long-time customer of 128Volvo/Saab when they closed. Used Concord Foreign Motors for the first time after my old Saab had been off the road for a year. It could have been very expensive. Instead, they diagnosed the minor problem, fixed it and diagnosed a couple of other small problems— got me back on the road at a fair price. Friendly and professional. I will return and have my wife’s Volvo serviced there from now on.

Concord Foreign Motors’ answer was “yes!” when we called them in a panic right after the New Year holiday and asked if they could squeeze us in “tomorrow.”We’d just decided our college son would take our 11yr old Volvo XC90 back to school in NC day after next; during the trip, the odometer would roll through 150k miles. The Volvo was due for a service which we’d put off scheduling.CFM got the vehicle in, found a belt about to go (so THAT’s what that noise was), called with an estimate, and ordered parts for afternoon delivery - including a “just-in-case” part they suspected might need replacing even before they could get all the way inside the engine. Parts arrived, they called with an estimate update, and finished the work before 5pm.The son got safely back to school. (Oh, and the “just-in-case” part? It prevented the vehicle from overheating on the highway - if that had happened and the rising temperature gauge was missed or ignored, would have meant total engine failure. These guys are the gem for people who have Volvos. I am on my 4th Volvo. I like these cars. I want to take good care of them. When I moved to MA from CT I was looking for a good garage. Over my many years of owning Volvos I found that for this car it is best to find an independent garage rather than to go to a dealership. That is once the car is off from the factory warranty. I am so glad I found Sarah and Dave and Jess. I think by now it was almost 5 years ago. These guys know their business, they keep absolutely great service to the car. They recommend preventive maintenance, if something goes bad, they explain what needs to be done. Once they do the work they stand by their service. There has been a situation when one of the AC compressor parts gone bad not even a year after the repair. They repaired for free this part. Definitely this service instills confidence in the fact that my car will run. BTW, I apparently have the car with the highest mileage in the shop. My car runs great and in significant part due to the excellent service by CFM. Absolutely recommend these people.

I have used this group over the years for work on our 2004 Volvo V70R.They used to be called Swedish motor but with the demise of Saab Im sure they had to diversify!Dave is an ex dealer tech and knows Volvos real well. In the fall they replaced a steering knuckle (sticky steering), at the quoted price and no stories.Today they fixed what I feared was a stripped transmission gear - it was a loose heat shield (!) Less than an hour and $50 instead of $2,000.Honesty is rare in the car mechanic world - these guys have it.When our newer Volvo is off warranty, this is where Ill be taking it.

They helped me avoid buying a lemon from a dealer and I assumed they would charge me for checking out the car but they didnt. Then after we had bought a Toyota Siena and it needed some repairs we got a quote from a Toyota dealer and then took it to Concord Foreign Motors and their pricing was half on multiple items, and less than half on others.
