I bought a certified Preowned 2018 MDX from this Acura and everything was Great! My Sales Associate Porter Clemens aka Chip went above and beyond in every sense. I am in San Diego and flew into Oakland to purchase the car. Before I came up Chip took the time to send me tons of info including pics and videos. He even personally picked me up at the airport to take me to the dealership. The price was fair and the finance manager was a pleasure. From my experience this place is the pinnacle of customer service!!! Ive had the car for 3 months now and everything is great. OUTSTANDING SERVICE!I have just become a very happy owner of a 2018 Acura TLX.I test drove several vehicles during 2 separate visits. I want to start off by saying that my experience at Acura Concord was very smooth and easy.Nazir and the sales team were very helpful and did not once pressure me to buy. Overall I was looking for a reliable vehicle that would last for years and still not break the bank, I found what I was looking for here and my experience with this team was very good. The service manager added and addendum to a year old invoice. The service person admitted the services was suppose to be done. Lol, this is not a place I would refer anyone. Changing invoices is not a good practice. They also let me leave with my power stirring reservoir not tighten down. THE LAST PLACE TO GO, AWFUL.
I bought my Acura in for its A1 inspection only to find an office without customer advisors. I was told they all called in sick and advisors from other neighboring dealers were called. Not only was I frustrated with the lack of expertise the young man had about Acuras, but I learned that he was not vaccinated. He wore a mask but I was appalled that a person who was dealing with the public all day could potentially spread the virus. When it was time to get a ride home I learned that the driver also was not vaccinated.

Third timing coming to the service center and every time I have been met with friendly and helpful employees who are knowledgeable and genuinely seem happy to help. Make sure you schedule a lot of time to sit and wait if you are waiting or a plan to use their shuttle service. Peets coffee and snacks provided, free WiFi, and comfy chairs that do fill up when they are busy so I did feel like I had to sit to keep a chair. Thankful it doesnt smell like a car place!
These guys are great. I live in Sacramento I was shopping around for a new 2021 RDX Aspec SHAWD for about a month and contacted several dealers to get the best price possible. Some gave me a reply, some didnt even want me to give me their best price which wanted me to come in. I contacted Acura of Concord and Porter Clemens (aka chip) contacted me through email about the particular RDX I wanted. He emailed me that the car is still available and if I had questions about it. He kept in touch with me while I was still researching about the car. On march 14th thats when I came in and He was off on that day (Wednesday). However he still kept in touch with me through email while he was off. I was greeted with Esmeralda along with the RDX parked up front waiting for me. Test drove the car then after that we talked about the numbers. They matched the numbers from another dealer from hour away from Acura of concord which I agreed and started the buying process. Everything went very smooth and explained everything before I signed away. The finance manager was very clear and did everything I wanted. The whole process was smooth and pretty quick. I was pleased. Then I was on the road with my brand new RDX ASpec SHAWD. I love it. I recommend these guys. I will refer my friends and family if they need a reliable luxury car.

I worked with Porter Chip Clemens. I reached out via email about a used car specifically and was quickly and professionally responded to with concise and honest communication. We were able to get all of the information needed done online via email so I could drive up and sign the paperwork and be on my way in around 2 hours.The dealership and everyone there was doing a great job at being respectful of physical distancing and cleaning due to Covid-19.I am disappointed that the traditional car buying experience has not advanced much in 10 years. I was still signing documents in a closed room that I could not review beforehand, which is in and of itself a deceptive business practice. Sites like Carvana and shift have solved this problem but come at a premium cost. I hope that the industry as a whole can progress towards a better customer experience.Overall, everyone I spoke with was the best that could be expected.
We were in the market for a newer Acura MDX and had been looking at multiple brick and mortar dealerships. We found some inventory at this dealership, but likely would not have been successful without the efforts of Chip. Our 5-star experience is due to the following : (1) Pricing and research material to instill a sense of trust with Candor (2) Setting clear expectations on what we are buying using CarFax reports, Acura Certification checklists, pricing and what to expect post sale (3) 100% follow-up on those pesky follow-up items like spare key, detail of the vehicle (4) Attention to personal details like financing preferences, service appointments for completion of pending items.While Chip is supported by an excellent staff, our primary point of contact remained Chip. We would recommend you to go meet him and his other colleagues at this Acura if you are shopping. You may find what you are looking for and if you dont you will certainly learn a lot about local and other inventory and feel a sense of being informed and make your own decisions.

The Hendricks team at Acura of Concord was very helpful. They did not have the car (Black 2020 TLX v6 with Tech package) I was looking for in their inventory but was able to locate one and had it transported to their lot for me and got me a great deal too.
Bought a car here. Did comparison shopping over the phone between a few dealers and this place was the one with the best price for the model we wanted. (I strongly recommend to shop for a new car that way). This place pushed for warranty and others add-one’s as most (all?) dealers do but not overly so.

I just wanted to check the price of the base MDX model while planning to buy the Honda Pilot, but the OTD quote they gave was so good I ended up buying the MDX AWD version. Mansoori was very nice and helpful. I spent about one hour doing all the paperwork at the dealership and the car was delivered to my place 30 minutes after I finished.
Took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. Wait was a little over 1 hour, but the time passed quickly and I was very comfortable in the customer waiting area with free coffee, water and snacks. Staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. It was a pleasant experience.

Zarif & Mansoor really took good care of me. From the day I came to the dealership and the days in between that involved negotiations. I’m not exaggerating when I say that this is by far the best experience I had with a car dealership. I’ve been to a lot; toyota, honda, ford, chrysler. My husband and I took our Acura MDX to this Acura affiliated branch for an oil consumption recall. The mechanics looked at the car, acknowledged there was an issue and that the issue will be fixed under the extended warranty so they ordered the parts needed in March. The parts arrived in late Aug. We dropped off the car, they gave us a loaner, fixed the car (they took the engine apart to fix issue), recommended other fixes the car needed which we took care of the day after we picked up the car. We took the car home after about 1 week of being at Acura mechanic shop. Remember, we took care of all the part replacements that were recommended to us as soon as we got the car out from the dealership.Drove the car for about 1500 miles (less than 1 month) when we noticed the cars performance was declining. We checked the oil level and it was loosing oil again. We called Acura and they recommended us to bring it back in so they can check what is going on. 2 days later, we receive a call from the service advisor saying that the strength of the compression from replacing the pistons and the rings (I am not a mech) caused further damage which caused oil to get into the spark plugs and valves and other parts, but they will not cover that so we should pay about $5k to fix this. Wait. We get blamed for a mistake they made or an issue that they overlooked so we have to pay for their mistake?We called the manager, her name is Robin. She asked us why did we even choose her Acura center to get our car fixed when there was one shop closer to our home. So in other words, why did we bother her shop with our recall issue.We feel very welcomed here now.FYI there is a class action law suit against Acura/Honda about this issue. We called corporate and they mentioned that there are so many other MDX owners that are having the oil leak/oil consumption issue which lead to further damage of their vehicle.So sad to be treated like you are an inconvenience and to be left without a vehicle by a well known dealership.Thank you Acura of Concord.
I came in for a couple of recall services and a minor issue. Service advisor, Erik Arnold, was phenomenal! Easy to work with and great service. They attended to my car promptly and kept me updated.

Excellent service was done while I waited. I was expecting to have to drop off my car. They often can do that. They are honest about inspections as they say I still dont need brakes after 90000 miles (Im a careful driver). Many shops would try to push it just based on miles.

Stay away from getting your car serviced here. As a dealership they are only concerned about car sales. The manager that handles the service department has no idea about any maintenance/service work related to cars. We turned in our car for an oil consumption recall under full warranty with less than 125000 miles. Dealership took about 9 months to get the parts just to get us over the 125000 mile mark. They then tried to fix the problem and suggested that we do a major service which we agreed to and it cost us about 2000$. During the major service none of the problems were brought to our attention. One month after their service we run into the same problem so we take it back in. They claim that their fix caused more damage on the motor costing about 5000$ and it wont be covered under warranty because we are over 125000 miles. Make sure you document everything and dont trust anything that comes out of their manager.

She listened too my needs and made sure we were comfortable with the work being performed and assured me the mechanics are certified technicians who are trained to work in my vehicle. Amanda also made sure that she scheduled our service around our family’s schedule and coordinating a loaner car! I couldn’t of been more happy with our service at Acura!

I received a notice that the airbag in my Acura was recalled. I called Acura of Concord and was given an appointment the following day. The staff was courteous, efficient, and helpful. I had excellent service.
My service was perfect a couple people helped me out but there was a strange thing with the car and would make a clunk sound and they had put on after market kit so the camber could be changed and it still clunked and it got all twisted up what was happening. It got figured out and then wow amazing they decided that this clunk must not happen and make it right at no charge to me. They gave me a loaner and fixed my and car and made sure that there was nothing wrong. It was the best service and dedication I have ever seen I love them

I was going through my insurance for the service, and while it wasn’t a unique scenario, I’m sure, there were still a few moving parts. Erron was in top of all of it, and worked to ensure a smooth service. Top notch service there that I would highly recommend.
Check-in and check-out were efficient and quick. My service adviser got me set-up, told me the estimated completion time, and told me to take a seat. The waiting area had snacks, water, and coffee/cappuccino. I was able to work on my computer, and the time flew by.

I am the original owner of a 2007 Acura TL. It has 160,000 miles on it. On the way up 680 from Sunnyvale to Concord on Monday morning, 10/28, my rear view auto dim mirror came off its mounting and was dangling from its connection. This has happened a couple times and my local dealer in San Jose popped it back on and recently on another 680 trip, another dealer in Pleasanton reattached it. So as we continued our drive up 680 to Concord, I called Acura of Concord and set an appointment for 10 am. I drove in and checked in at the service desk. Amanda Munroe, a service advisor, greeted me, and we went out to the car so she could see the problem. She wrote up the paperwork and said she would have it looked at and I told her I could wait. After just about an hour she informed me that the tech told her there had been a screw missing from the assembly, and the mirror was re-attached and that it should be as good as new. PLUS, there was no charge! She added if I had any more problems of any kind in the future while we were in the area, to please make sure to call and ask for her. So far so good and if I should have any more difficulties at all with the car, I will definitely call Amanda and have her handle the situation.

Took my Pontiac there from a recall. Staff was friendly and helpful. A bit of a wait but not ridiculous. They did a good job fixing the recall and didnt try to sell me on other services. Took them a little longer than expected, but that seems to be the normal with mechanics.

I have been to another Acura Dealership and had a horrible experience I was so frustrated I almost decided to give up and not purchase an Acura RDX or anything Acura but Im so glad I gave it another chance and went to Acura of Concord, they diligently follow social distancing measures for everyones safety and despite that it didnt stop them from providing great customer service. Its rare to find folks with integrity and a commitment to take care of customers in the auto industry in general. Acura of Concord is an exception.Our sales specialist Tim was terrific to work with. He was honest about the car features and had a very organised approach to selling it. He explained the cars features and then got us thinking about what we really needed in the car. As a buyer, that actually helped a us lot !The only sales manager i spoke to was fairly curt when we asked them on whether theres room to negotiate on the price (i thought rude, my wife says he wasnt.) While they didnt negotiate a single penny on the cars price (which feels odd in retrospect given the state of the economy and used car pricing during this COVID wave.), we were okay paying the full price simply because of the confidence that Tim gave us around who were working with. As fortune would have it, we ended up having to bother Tim literally minutes after signing up the paperwork once we realised the there was an issue with the roof of the car that needed repair. He took the issue right up with the service team and helped us and also followed up a few days later to ensure we were taken care of. [most sales agents ive worked with tend to forget my name after ive signed a car purchase paperwork. So this was a very pleasant surprise.]Once Tim got us connected to the service team, they were truly amazing. A special shout out to Johnny in the Acura Service center for facilitating the repair process and ensuring that everything is done right. Johnny was always patient when i asked dumb questions and were able to help complete the repair in just 2 days. Johnny helped arrange for a virtually brand new loaner vehicle which was the other car that we were considering. I thought it was a really nice and thoughtful gesture to arrange for this loaner.If you value working with good people, you should stop by at the Acura of Concord.

Oil change and tire rotation was prompt. Acura of Concord could add more class to their service by running the cars through their car wash like Concord Toyota does for scheduled service. I was puzzled by Concord Acura setting all four tire pressure at 37 psi when the car door said two front at 35 and two rear tires at 33. Is the car manufacturer wrong or is Concord Acura right? Service person James was very helpful in this regard but I still do not know what the right pressure should be.

I found an Acura TL online, and I quickly called this dealership and made an offer on the car. My offer was accepted, and I tried to pay for the car over the phone with a wire transfer. Unfortunately I was unable to make the transfer due to the fact that is was a Friday, and the money wouldnt go through until Monday. I decided to make the trip up Saturday evening after work. I had talked to my salesman Juan (and Chuck) to ensure my car was still available. I purchased a train ticket for Saturday, and had my weekend planned around driving the car home. I even confirmed with the salesman that the car was available before I boarded my train. He said The car is safe, dont worry about it - youll have your car at 10 AM tomorrow! I boarded my train, and after 4 hours on the train, I received a text message from my salesman stating the car was sold. Not a phone call, a text message. I tried calling him back, but he would only text me. Here I am Sunday morning, 5 hours away from home... without a car. Thank you Concord Acura for screwing me over.

They have always been great to me. Last visit was the usual. Took care of the whole thing, no issues. The mechanic was very knowledgeable as well. More importantly he came off as very professional and customer focused. Great stuff from someone from the back office so to speak. The front office people were comfortable calling him which I thought was impressive as well. Showed the Honda engineering background.
Very patient and honest Sales staff. Price on used vehicle wasnt up for negotiation, and the Sales team was upfront and clear about that from the beginning. I had already done research, but the Sales team took the time to show me how and why they determined the sales price of the vehicle. It wasnt the best price, but it was fair. Especially considering that the vehicle was inspected by their mechanics. Many parts had been replaced including, timing belt, water pump, wheel bearings, etc. The car only has 69,000 miles on it, but they would not sell it in any other than the best condition possible. I am very happy to pay a little extra knowing that major service has been done right, and its on record. I now have a great car that should be fine for many years. Thank you Acura of Concord!
