I contacted Aamco for a problem with my SUV. I had previously gotten a quote from my local Ford dealership and decided to shop around for repairs. I spoke to Jeremy we discussed what the problem was and he gave me several different options. I decided to have my car repaired there versus the Ford dealership and I have to say I saved around $600 from what I was quoted by Ford.Jeremy, Cortney and Jeff made the experience outstanding. I was extremely impressed by their professionalism and knowledge. The repair was completed in a timely manner and the car runs great. Add to that the savings, well it was a terrific experience. I would highly recommend visiting them versus a dealership for quality work at a reasonable rate.

Started up my car one day and it seemed to be running differently then usual. It wouldn’t shift or go into gear. Luckily the team at AAMCO is right across the street I brought it to them not knowing what was wrong or what to do. They were pretty booked that day but they were still able to find out that I had some rodent damage to some wires and repair it for me. They even stayed late that night to finish the job so that I could get to work in the morning. So impressed with Jeff and his team, best experience I have had with a garage, they were honest and responsive. I brought my daughter’s car to AAMCO in Concord from another mechanic after learning it needed a transmission. Jeremy & Jeff took at look at it and felt they could fix the current transmission and at a much lower cost then a new transmission or even a used replacement. They ran into a couple issues through the process but handled every aspect of it well. Great communication, very accommodating, and very concerned on making sure they gave us back a car that was complete fixed. Not only did they follow through with their promise and my daughter is in a car that is completely fixed they did it more affordable then my other options. They also earned extra points for overcoming some obstacles with first class service! I had gone to the oil change location next door and they were not able to flush out my transmission (NISSANS) and they sent me next door to AAMCO. I went right over and spoke to Jeff. He was nothing but friendly, helpful and professional. We scheduled an appointment for me to come back - which I did and everything went very smoothly! I found the prices to be very reasonable! I did call the dealer I got my car from and they quoted me almost 100 dollars more for the same service. I also appreciated the fact that Jeff did a full and thorough inspection of my vehicle to see if anything else needed attention - however I didnt feel pressured in any way - which I have felt at other places. Ran about 10 mins late but called, spoke with the receptionist, Courtney, and said it was absolutely no problem and still took me right away. I was greeted promptly as I walked in by Courtney herself (she should be a model though, Beautiful and even better was very sweet, personable and welcoming) whom I had already spoke with about running late prior, was still taken care of right away and off my truck went. A+ experience pleasant staff...Ian took great care of me by helping me out and having the mechanic, Nate (both were very professional and extremely knowledgeable) do a full inspection on my truck for me, free of charge💁🏼‍♀️🙏🙆🏼‍♀️because I was hearing and smelling things that I shouldnt and without a problem found the issues and a few other things that will need to be done in the near future, but nothing major. I was told I could bring it anywhere because it was an easy fix, (so you know it is not one of those made-up problems that they come up with just to get your money like a lot of places do unfortunately) but hands down will be returning here to take care of it. HIGHLY recommended!!!!!!!!! Thank You to everyone at AAMCO for making my, usual dreadful, wait that we all have made everytime we have work done on our vehicles, Enjoyable and hospitable-makes all the difference in the world. Will add another review on my next visit for consistency. Best experience with a garage yet and Ive been to my fair share of them. I had another shop do a rebuild of my BMW transmission a few months ago costing me almost $4000. I brought it back several times stating it was not right and they wouldnt acknowledge the issue at all. Not only did The owner Jeremy help diagnose the fact that the car absolutely have transmission issue but went above and beyond to help me handle repair. I apologize to Jeremy (owner) and Jeffrey (manager) that this review is SO long overdue, as all the work was done in May this year! Things have been a little insane since then, but I wanted to make sure when I wrote this that I gave an in-depth and conscientious review!(Back-story: before coming to AAMCO as a first time client, I initially took my car to have the rear brakes evaluated--I believed that was the source of the problem-- at the same place that I have always used for my State inspections. My last State inspection had actually been done only very recently, and my car barely driven since. I was told at THAT place that my brakes were in perfect condition and there must be some other problem. They recommended I take my car to AAMCO (at least they got that part right!)I called AAMCO and got worked in very quickly. They did a full multi-point inspection of my vehicle and found my rear inner brake pad was eating through the rotor (contrary to what the other place had said.) The AAMCO mechanic found a few other things that they recommended dealing with. It was going to add up to a lot more than I had anticipated to get all those things done, but I have an older vehicle, and while I have tried to keep it extremely well cared for, I knew that the recommendations were completely in line and appropriate. I was confident they were being straight-shooters with me, and I want my vehicle to live long and stay in great condition.AAMCO worked to bundle the cost of all the services such that I was getting a lot of good repair service and extras for my money. I cannot say how pleased I am to have found a shop here in town that I can trust to provide great quality care and customer service. Also, while they were out of loaner cars, Jeremy and Jeffrey gave me rides back home and to the shop again on successive days.They have made me a loyal customer! Thanks guys!

Went to get an electrical issue sorted with my dome light, not only did they figure out right away what was causing the problem and swiftly fixed it, but they did a full check up and discovered a leak in a older gasket that was leaking oil into the spark plugs that if left unattended, it would have eventually caused severe problems. I already had been to 2 different mechanics for check-ups and other issues in the past six weeks and not one of them even picked up on it. Last Friday my car started to make this rattling sound near the front passenger side of my car. On Monday afternoon, I got in touch with the GM, Jeff Crandall, and he told me to come in on Wednesday and he will squeeze me in to see if he can find the issue. He told me over the phone that it sounds like the Heatshield. Once my car was on the lift, they found that the Heatshield was loose and put a bolt in. Took maybe 20 minutes. Great service!

Brought a work fleet van to AAMCO on a friday late afternoon and it needed some significant work. The guys over there were great to work with and they overdelivered on my experience. They diagnosed with integrity and fixed the issues promptly and within 24 hours I had the vehicle back. Which is important with fleet vehicles that the van was not off the road for a long duration of time. They also provided a follow up call to ensure things are working great after the service. They also coordinated an inspection next door with Valvoline and completed that before pickup. Couldnt have asked for a better experience.

Brought my Dodge Charger to the dealer for a transmission issue. I was informed the transmission needed to be replaced with a very vague explanation. I decided to call Aamco of Concord for a second option and told them the situation. I initially spoke with Courtney who was extremely professional and polite, she then passed me to her husband Jeremy the owner who was very knowledgeable. He treated me with respect and didn’t make me feel uncomfortable even though I know very little about cars. He took the time to explain things and offered a second option without charge. (The dealer charged me over $100 and didn’t even test drive my vehicle..) Aamco fixed MY transmission without replacement and the customer service was a 10 out of 10. They even set up a payment plan to help. I didn’t realize the did other work on cars as well. They will be the only shop I trust to fix my vehicle!!! You guys are awesome!!!!!!!

I met Jeremy about 6 years ago. I had a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee, which I serviced religiously, except for the transmission fluid. I brought it in at about 105000 miles. Jeremy explained why I needed a transmission rebuild. He treated me well on the service and the price. I learned that not changing the fluid, every 30000 miles was a bad idea.I traded that vehicle for a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee, with 29000 miles on it. As soon as it became time to change the fluid, I contacted Jeremy and the service was completed, at a reasonable price. The important part is, I was treated well, as a repeat customer. After owning the vehicle for a few months I tried to bring in my vehicle in for transmission service, as I had forgotten I did it earlier. Jeremy checked the records they keep on file. He gladly told me I was not due yet. Honesty in this business is very important to me, as I am VERY customer service focused !!The other day, a warning came on my dash, indicating the transmission was overheating, so I called AAMCO and spoke with John. He booked me in for the next morning at 8:00 AM, by 10:15, I received a call from Jeremy that it was done. Two days later, I booked my sons Santa Fe in and it was done in a couple of hours. If I need transmission service or any of the related automotive services they perform, I call AAMCO and receive the courtesy and service that a repeat customer likes to experience. This is a business, where the General Manager, Jeremy, understands what it takes to build strong customer relationships !!!

Had AAMCO service the car again recently. Same experience as a year ago. Estimate was right on and the work was excellent.Phenomenal is a good word to describe our experience at AAMCO in Concord, NH.Originally took our vehicle to a dealers service department. The tech said that the noise we heard was a transaxle and that the only way to to get rid of the noise was to replace the transmission. The service adviser said it happens on this type of car with high mileage. Decided to get a second opinion. Took it to AAMCO for that second opinion. Jeremy explained in detail their diag process. Their conclusion was a loose heat shield sitting and rubbing on the muffler. They allowed us to test drive the car before paying to confirm that that was the source of the noise. The problem was fixed. Jeremy and crew saved us over $4500 and charged us an insignificant amount for their time. Very high level of integrity, consideration, and kindness exhibited by Jeremy, Courtney and their techs. We are so glad that we decided to have them take a look at it.

I have been looking for a place to take my car since moving to Concord over a year ago. This week I took my car to AAMCO for a potential clutch issue I was having. Jeremy and Dan were both very professional and helpful. This AAMCO location has the feel of a small town garage, where they care about long-term customer satisfaction. You can tell they are in it for the long haul and not merely to meet a quota or take advantage of people unlike some other places I have been to.

I was in the area visiting for Christmas, when I noted a large leak coming from under my truck. I popped my head underneath and it looked like something red, which led me to believe transmission fluid was leaking, and Xmas eve of all days. I called Aamco and they got me right in despite having no appointments left. They got my truck on the lift and Josh showed me a leaking transmission line. They repaired the line and set my fluid level. Josh even test drove it afterwards to ensure the transmissions was shifting correctly. Thanks again!!

Jeremy (and Dan!) at AAMCO in Concord earned a repeat customer in me with his service. He is friendly, upfront and honest about the cost, parts (OEM), and what repairs are really needed. I was treated with respect and he really seemed to care about solving my cars issues and answering my questions. I went in for a brake repair job that was exaggerated by another garage, and Jeremy and the crew looked over my car and fixed it all before lunch. I typically avoid chains/franchises because most of them try and get you in and out to get paid as soon as possible, and the service never really lives up to the price... but not here. I cant say enough about the service here. I gave them a shot because they are AAA approved, and Im glad I did. People/businesses that go out of their way for customers deserve credit, and I hope my review can sway some people to give this place a chance!

Went in after being told I needed a transmission replacement, and was told by Ian that I only needed a valve body replacement. His honesty saved me over $2800! I highly recommend AAMCO for anything automotive related.

My transmission was slipping slightly and Ammco in Concord told me I needed another transmission at a cost of $4300 which I couldnt afford. Brought it somewhere else who informed me the transmission fluid was low and they added fluid which cost $20 and been running great for months now. Update on my transmission. As of now my transmission is acting up again so Aamco was correct about needing to be replaced and the owner called me 7 times and gave me his personal cell phone trying to help me. Very nice people. Change to 5 stars

Best Repair Shop in Concord!!! I was recommended by a friend to try out AAMCO in Concord. I thought they only worked on transmissions, however to my surprise when I called they work on everything else. I was quoted by another shop all new brakes with rotors. Aamco performed a free check and said it just needed new brake pads. They also found a power steering leak I was unaware of the other shop missed. Ian the service manager explained everything throughly and let me know I could fix the power steering in the next month or two. They offered me a payment plan that didn’t require a credit check. Every part of the experience was professional and hassle free. They are my new go to shop!!

I was referred to AAMCO to troubleshoot a transmission problem. Jeremy and his team were professional and thorough in identifying the problem and finding the right solution for me and my budget. Im very satisfied with the service I received and the quality of work performed. I will definitely be using their services again and highly recommend them.

Stopped by today traveling from Oregon with what I thought was a bad throw out bearing which meant possibly pulling the tranny. I Talked with Dan who was extremely friendly and accommodating, understanding my situation he pushed me to the front of the line very quickly. The mechanic was very skilled and realized it was the drive shaft u-joints which were replaced quickly at a small fraction of the expected price. Jeep drives like butter now, I would highly recommend these guys.

Here now & not a local. Belt came off in the Dodge Ram 1500, lost my steering on the highway. Pulled off & called roadside assistance to have it towed 40+ miles away. Tyler from a local tow company called AAMCO & towed it there which was only a few miles down the road. AAMCO, even being buried in business, took it right in, no questions AND picked up my wife & I at a local diner. The customer service here is unparalleled & second to none; nothing like Ive ever seen. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. would give 10 stars if I could.... Thank you Tyler, Jeremy, Dan & staff!!!!A++++++++

Jeremy and his staff have treated my mother with the upmost respect and kindness. After owning her car for 3 years, the transmission went. Jeremy fought the warranty company and got them to cover all but $500 of the work. He also gave her a loaner car. We cannot recommend Jeremy and his staff more!

They fixed it!A very bad vibration developed in my 2010 Honda Pilot, and about a year ago, I actually had to remove the rear drive shaft. This took the vibration away but it also took my AWD away. After a new driveshaft and many visits to other shops, the problem was not solved. So I thought I would take it to a transmission specialist, maybe they could figure this vibration problem out. I liked the way Jeremy listened to my story and then communicated with me about their diagnostic work. When he offered the solution, I agreed, the part came and was installed. The vibration problem is gone and my AWD is back just in time for snow!They fixed it!

I brought my vehicle in for diagnosis of a high speed wobble and a check engine light. Jeremy explained that the wobble was due to worn tires. The check engine light was due to an issue with my timing chains. I recalled having the timing chains already done at the dealership so was able to pull my records and have my facts straight when I contacted the dealer for repair. The dealer covered the repair under warranty. In addition, the tires were 50,000 mile tires but only had 30,000 miles of use. I was able to negotiate a discount off of replacement tires with the garage where I originally purchased the tires. AAMCO diagnosed the issues and didnt charge me a dime even though they spent time looking at my vehicle. Also, because of the information they gave me, I was able to negotiate with the other garages and saved myself alot of money. Next time I need service, I will definitely be bringing my car to AAMCO for service - honest and trustworthy.

I went in to get my transmission flushed. After an initial problem where I couldn’t get the work done, these guys got in touch with me and went over the top with their customer service. I don’t live close to this AAMCO but I will absolutely be coming back. The customer service is outstanding!!
