They are very nice people. I will start with that. It is extremely hard to get a hold of them on the phone, because it takes you to the corporate number and not the shop number. Once you do manage to get the shop number, it can also be a while before you can get a hold of them. Once I was able to get an appointment they took a few hours to replace the windshield, which is normal. But on the way home lots of air was getting through the windshield, it was not properly installed. I called the shop. No answer for many calls. I called the generic number and they were able to get me another appointment the next day at a shop further away, 40 min from me. They had to replace the window a second time in order to correct the problem, so I had to wait another 3 hours. I asked them to make sure it was done perfectly this time, as I have to trade in my car in two days. After they installed it they said they really took their time to make sure it was done correctly. I get in the car and there was glue left on the bottom of the window, on the left edge of the dashboard. Again, I have to trade in my car in two days and told them they need to do a perfect job this time. No air leaks and no glue showing. My car was literally in perfect condition, like brand new, and now its not. They went back to try to remove the glue but said they couldnt without taking the windshield off AGAIN. Obviously thats not going to happen, I can not waste another day and my trust is completely gone. So now I am left with an obvious flaw that was not there before. One that is directly in eye site of the drivers side. They apologized, but did not offer to compensate me in ANY way for the inconvenience of first not installing the window correctly the first time, and second now leaving glue on my perfect condition car. There is no reason for any of this. This is literally what this shop specializes in and twice in two days they messed up big time and didnt compensate me for it. Super unhappy. The guy helping to get the glue off said well just hope they dont notice at the dealership. That was his solution. I guess thats what they were hoping I wouldnt notice, also. Completely unacceptable. Dont go here. Update: I am STILL hearing leaks of air come through the windshield (just less than the first time) and they left marks of black glue all over my white paint in random places I now have to buff out. The WORST. Will never trust them and will make sure family and friends never go here.
They set me a schedule home service to fix my car’s broken glass window for 6 days after I requested them to do it. On the day that they scheduled to fix it, this unprofessional people didn’t show up. No call at all. And even the next day no call from them. I’ve wasted 1 day off earned for dealing with this immature people. I’ve end up getting job done rigth away from a very reliable and professional company Dan’s Glass,Inc. located in Galindo blvd. Concord Ca. So don’t get your time wasted dealing with Safelite Auto Glass.
Made an appointment through my insurance provider after having my windshield cracked by a rock on the freeway. The process was simple and I was seen on the date and time promised with only about a 10min wait upon arrival. The tech quoted me 2-3 hours for a windshield replacement & sensor recalibration. I got a call about 2 hours after I left my car that it was done. After having taken my car through a car wash I am happy with the replacement, no leaks and I notice no issues with my cars sensors. The replacement windshield I received is not OEM but an aftermarket one and I am content with its quality. Overall Im very happy with my experience at this location and would gladly use their services again.

I was referred to Safelite Auto Glass by my insurance company for a windshield replacement. It took 2 appointments over a week apart to accomplish the work due to a defective windshield on the first installation. Shortly afterwards while on a road trip, the drivers side pillar trim blew off. When the trim comes off, it breaks the clips underneath but our clips weren’t broken, indicating that the technician never properly applied the trim. Now after 2 phone calls with long waits and an email, my warranty service is scheduled in 10 days out (Another 4 hours of my time waisted).Safelite has poor quality and service.I DON’T RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!!
4 tries they came to me and I came to them, the last time we were assured it’s the correct windshield and after the second 40 mile drive it was not, always get the excuse oh the managers in a meeting, huh should have been the correct windshield and then as the tech is standing 10’ away from my car they ask me where my car is, I could have had my windshield replaced at the dealer over 2 months ago and they kept streaming me along, DO NOT GO HERE, STAY AWAY!! Horrible service

This place makes me really wish google had the options to give negative stars, not zero, negative. I’ve had to come here at least 5 different times to replace my glass - not 5 separate broken glass incidents, one incident, 5 different times. How does the same part keep getting ordered incorrectly multiple separate times?? Well instead of quality control and taking ownership of the issue, it’s a blame game, the dealership, the technician, the person ordering. They did waive my fees and ate the cost of everything but considering I took days off of work and driving half an hour to and from there, that’s the least they could do. It’s extremely frustrating how they advertise they can do repairs for you conveniently at your location (home, work, etc) but apparently that’s not for all services - and I’m finding this out the hard way. I probably wouldn’t have left such a poor review if they actually would catch their mistakes before I drive down there, wait for a technician and then get the bad news in person, only to have them apologize and schedule another time to come in…and I just want to say I’ve used safelite a few times in the past and have never had these types of issues until I worked with this concord branch.
I went there to get a wrap until theyre able to fix my window until October 21st right so I thought this rap was going to help let me tell you right when I hop on the freeway that rap flew right off I dont understand what is a point of doing that and it seems like they did poor work hopefully theyre works better with my real glass it was just a waste of time to get a rap I do not recommend that for nobody
They randomly canceled my windshield replacement without notice. They failed to “call me back” twice while trying to find my order. I finally went to the dealer after they were unable to generate a new appointment. I get that global supplies have been disrupted with The pandemic, but this should not break their system 18 months in. It would have also been fixed by a bare minimum of customer service.
I had the windshield replaced on my 2020 Toyota Supra on 7/24/2021 using their mobile service, the technician recalibrated the front camera twice and failed but he told me that he was going to close out the job and someone is going to call me to schedule the recalibration. Three business days later, there was no call. I submitted a calibration follow up online but again no response. i called the number that was in the text messages prior to my appointment and it directed me to a representative that told me that I can do a walk in for the calibration service. 7/31/2021, I drove to the shop only to be told that I needed an appointment and they are not sure if they have the software to calibrate the front camera but scheduled me for another calibration appointment on 8/7/2021. Why schedule another appointment if you are not sure if you have the software? Why even take the insurance claim if you don’t have it? This is a total waste of my time, I might end up going to the dealership to get this taken care of. Will not be using this company in the future and not recommending it.Update: 8/7/2021, I cancelled my calibration appointment with Safelite and took my car to the dealership for the camera calibration. The service department found that the camera was installed wrong and my windshield wipers was out of adjustment. Ridiculous.

Arrived for our appointment which was scheduled a week ago and first most the two ladies in the front end did not acknowledge us. After waiting a few when we approached her she helped us confirm our appointment. They told us to wait while they inspected the glass which of course had minor scratches and we refused the installation. Questioned them why didnt they inspect b4 our arrival and save us a trip. So will wait to see the final results next week. Until then only 3 stars
Everyone was friendly. However, I was told 1.5 hours for my window replacement. I arrived at 9:10 (I was late for a 9 am appt), and left at noon :(. I watched so many others with later appts come and go. My keys were not taken from me until 10 am.Additional info: Window is not sealing properly. They will come out to my home to resolve.

Overall I had a great experience. Setting up an appointment, getting quote and dropping off cars everything was so fast. Due to COVID, they dont have customer care support over the phone We have to submit a request online and then they will call us back. The glass was fixed as promised, but they did not reset the wiper blades in my car. So I had to call them back for fixing that. It was a bit of hassle, wish they had checked everything.

The gentleman (Nicholas from the Concord, Calif. shop) that came to my house was over the top and very professional. He replaced my windshield washer cowlings and when he was done, he cleaned all the glass, inside and out and vacuumed out my truck.Mind you, he never installed any glass. That was done by 2 awesome professional techs, Tyler and Jess a couple of weeks ago.If you need any vehicle glass work, I highly recommend the Concord, California shop.And yes, I did call the shop to praise these gentlemen.

Took 2 months to get my replacement windshield, then I go to the appointment for the installation and they didnt have the proper fittings to install my windshield, so I wasted a 40 mile drive for nothing.
Booked a windshield repair a week out for an 8-11am time slot, took the morning off of work to be there. Got a text message at 810 saying my appointment was canceled with no explanation, lost a days business for no reason. Tried to call and never got a live person.

They do not know how to properly operate their own machinery which caused damage to my car. I noticed after washing the car a couple days after picking it up. There were 3 straight lines on the top of my car, 2 were perpendicular to the third. These scratches were not there before I brought the car in. The placement, length, and precision straightness of the scratches had the only explanation of the glass replacement.Customer service was actually very good, but the scratches and damages are too much. I take pride in my car and know each scratch and dent. This massive one was new.

They said that they had to replace my car’s windshield in shop. After 3 days, I went there, but was told that they got the wrong model and had to re-order the right one. I have to wait a week again. I decided to schedule an appointment to replace my quarter glass on my Tesla a result of a car break in. The phone rep was amazing! We were able to secure an appointment for latter in the week, by 2:00pm I received a call from the Concord location indicating that because it was a Tesla and it would take 6 month to get the part she needed to cancel my appointment. I find this to be a dishonest location, after I asked the women to speak to her manager she left me on hold forever. I wouldn’t do any business with them in the future.

Safelite!! Wow what can I say other than Safelite has not taken care of business in my opinion. The technician turned a dime size crack into a horrendous complete across the window crack and when I asked for a better price then the competitors I got a call from Kurtis who says he is the Manager of the Concord Safelite store. He seemed to care more about making his point then fixing the problem. No customer service skills at all. I was offended and in tears when I got off the phone. I have been left on hold for 30 minutes at a time and given numbers the led to people who made promises to get back to me they didnt keep. What I did get was a response on Yelp...go figure they responded publicly saying to contact them but dont be fooled behind the scene they could have already fixed this since it happened on 4/26/16 and I have sent so many emails and made calls. They want me to go away but the truth is my windshield is cracked terribly from their technician making it worse and it needs to be fixed and they should do it at a better cost since I wouldnt have been out twice as much money if not for Safelites attempt to fix it. Come on Safelite either fix my window or may I suggest change your name because I dont feel my windshield is safe..Dont respond on Yelp publicly if you arent really living up to your name. I am still waiting. Perhaps a real Manager with real customer service skills unlike Kurtis the Manager of Concord fix this. Hey thanks Safelite...thanks for nothing so far.
Arrived at 2:45 for a scheduled 3:00 appointment to have cracked windshield replaced.At 3:20 my technician introduced himself and we proceeded through the parking lot to inspect the crack in my windshield.He suggested that the procedure would require less than an hour and a half and that I should be out of there before 5:00.While I waited I noticed that, once an installation was completed, the technician would assist their client to their car and they would proceed to inspect the work (i.e. new windshield). The client would pay the technician (via credit card) and then drive away, presumably in shiny-new-windshield bliss.Thinking that perhaps the technician was waiting for the adhesive set before he would proudly escort me to show off his handy work, I proceeded to wait. By 5:30 (the shop closes at 5:00) the manager asked “do you have a car here?”The work was completed before 5:00 but the technician snuck away and left my keys on the receptionist’s desk. The manager apologized and offered $50 off of my $100 deductible, handed me my keys and pointed me in the direction of my car.Before driving away I quickly inspected the new windshield and molding/weather-stripping which, at the time, looked good.Of course I did not notice the small but noticeable dent in my hood until later that evening. A big rock hit my windshield and proceeded to splinter across the windshield in a matter of minutes. A friend recommended Safelite in passing, so I got on-line to check them out. I was able to schedule an convenient appoint on-line. The night before they came I received an email from my technician, Zack, introducing himself and letting me know what time, within my window, he was planning on being there. The next morning Zack texted me again to give me an update on time. He texted me again when he got to my building and I headed out with my keys. Zack was, kind, respectful and professional. He let me know about how long it would take to get done. I felt very comfortable leaving him my keys as I went back to my classroom to teach. I went out to my car just as Zach was finishing up. We got to talking and I was just really impressed by how responsible and hardworking he was. My entire experience with Safelite was amazingly simple and I would highly recommend this company.

Its all smiles until your car is damaged.Took my car in for a back windshield replacement and Safelite attempted a bolt removal and caused irreparable damage to the spoiler. After attempting to call and work out a claim Safelite refuses to take any sort of responsibility in the matter. You will play endless phone tag between corporate phone lines and store management. Dont expect any sort of ethical business practices or responsibility from here.

My Safelite technician arrived within the timeframe given to me. The technician was neat in appearance and very friendly. He removed and replaced my windshield in a very timely manner. I would recommend Safelite to everyone.
Great job! A rock cracked my windshield, had less than an inch crack that I was worried would spread if left untreated. I was able to drop it off the same day and was fixed in less than 30 minutes. When I arrived, the guy took a look at my windshield and warned me that there’s a 50% chance that the crack might spread and become bigger while he’s fixing it. If that happened, there’s a chance that the crack would expand over time. I decided to proceed with trying to fix it as the insurance was paying for it. Lucky for me, the repair man did a great job and it didn’t keep expanding. There’s a slight mark left but looks so much better than it was before, can hardly tell it was cracked.

Giving it a neutral 3 star. Their commercials always show a busy parent getting their windshield busted. They make a call and out comes the service guy. Well my windshield cracked, so I drove to their place of business. I didnt expect same day repair, but wasnt prepared to be told the soonest appointment was three weeks out. False advertising is what thats called.
Never take you car to the shop, they have to drive it. Just have them come to you so they dont need to drive your car. They were backing my Jeep out and another person was backing in an Audi and they collided. My Jeep has a steel bumper so was okay, but the other customers Audi.... not so much. Their insurance was MONTHS behind trying to take care of the issue.Once again, just habe them come to you, even if it weeks later for an appointment, unless you like dealing with a budget insurance claim from people that dont care about making your vehicle right.

About 8 months ago, our windshield was hit by a huge rock. I waited too long to get it fixed, the crack grew and grew, so we needed to replace the entire windshield.Ricard Leyva came to replace the windshield. He was extremely professional, on time (actually early) and called to let me know his ETA. Once he arrived, he walked me through the process and proceeded to do the replacement. He did an excellent job. I just wish I had called them sooner.
Pretty good experience. Got my window replaced in 90 minutes or so on a Saturday. Went to a nearby afghan restaurant, came back and it was done. They did, however, order the nonheated version of my window and I hope that doesnt come back to bite me. I wasnt asked if it was heated when I scheduled my appointment and wasnt aware there was a nonheated version. My only other complaint is that the technician left my car in first like a VW and caused me to stall in front of the shop because I didnt check.

TERRIBLE SERVICE!! It’s been 3 weeks & I am still not able to get my window installed! 1st time technician came out, I was not able to get my window installed because they screwed up by ordering a tinted window when non of my windows are tinted. Last week another technician was sent out with an incorrect size!!! I’ve called NUMEROUS TIMES & I keep being told “they are waiting for the window, and will have someone contact me” it’s been weeks & yet have not gotten my window installed due to them SCREWING UP TWICE!!!!!!I will be contacting BBB!!

My windshield started with a typical rock chip with a couple of half inch sized cracks radiating outward. Now I have a huge crack with two six inch cracks and two two-inch cracks radiating out from the chip. The technicians equipment pressure caused the cracks to expand dramatically and now the whole window needs to be replaced. (This is a leased vehicle, so I cannot return it in this condition.) I have not yet talked directly to Safelite to see if they will cover the replacement, but my insurance company (GEICO) called them about this and they told GEICO that they would NOT cover the cost of a replacement, even though their process caused the problem.
Quoted an hour and a half wait and its over 2hrs later. Let me add, this is my 3rd time trying to get my windshield changed. First visit, they ordered the wrong windshield, second, mobile van comes to me and realizes I need new rubber caulking around my window so it had to be ordered and another appointment scheduled, now on my 3rd attempt I wait and wait. Yes, I had an appointment at 8a and was one of the first cars here. Its now 1015.
I ordered my glass in June. Its now November and I still dont have a new windshield. They cancel often, sometimes the morning of my appt. Hold times on phone exceed 45 min. Dont go here unless you have to. Worst Ever!
Booked appt to replace my Tesla windshield. After taking off work and leaving the car there for hours, I tried to call. After a 15 min hold time, I was dropped back off only to discover that they had not repaired it! Said their tech was suppose to call me to tell me its a special windshield that they can not get! Waste of my day! do not use them if you have a Tesla. They were going to use a cheap after market windshield....not the manufacturers glass!

Very un happy. 2nd time in 3 years that Ive had bad experiences not gonna come back anymore.1st time the shop that had my car closed at 4:45pm and door sign showed 5pm closing. I had asked the guy in a safelite van to open back up so I could get my vehicle. He was upset and not happy that I asked. He complained about how he had to turn lights on and computers(dont close before actual closing time).2nd time the mobile tech installed wrong windshield on my tahoe. Then said its all he had then left. Before he arrived to address he called and stated that he would be installing the correct windshield. The tech also arrived 15 minutes late and then left without knocking, I had to call him to come back. He stated that he had lots of traveling to do the day of my appointment. Which was only maybe 30 miles. I dont call that alot of traveling.I have also called over 3 times to get an updated receipt and stil Ill havemt gotten it after 1.5 weeks later.

Took my car about a month ago to replace the windshield and today when i opened the hood noticed they broke the clip and bented the clip placement to remove the cowl for the windshield. Also noticed where they hook the mechanical arm that hold the windshield also cut and squeezed the door plastic liner and now i hear wind noise. Very unprofessional work.

I provided them with all my insurance information and they told me that they would take care of dealing with the insurance claim. I then had to wait about 3 weeks for an appointment. The day before the scheduled replacement, someone called me at 5:45 pm and left a mumbled message and requested a call back. I called them back within 15 minutes and got the auto-attendant telling me they were closed.The next morning the person scheduled to perform the service called me to confirm and told me the amount due was almost $800. I told him no, my deductible is $100. He then had me hold and said that they hadnt verified that yet. So, I them where to put the replacement windshield.I then called my insurance company to find out what the issue was and they advised me that the insurance claim had not been submitted until 5:30 pm the night before and thats why it hadnt yet been approved.LAZY, USELESS GROUP. GO ELSEWHERE
