I chose Key Collision for my car repairs based on their rating. But my experience has been a huge headache. My car was in the shop for over 3 weeks and it wasnt ready as promised. When I finally got it back, shortly after, the check engine light came on. I brought my car back to them and they offered to take it in for repairs, but I no longer trusted them. I took my car to my mechanic who found that the vapor leak was due to a damaged part that was overlooked. And several clips were missing that kept the body fastened to the frame. I brought the invoice and estimate for repairs back to Key Collision and they submitted them to the insurance. I was reimbursed but not directly, so I had to wait longer to get my money back. Just recently, my rear defroster wasnt working. I had my mechanic look at it and I was told the connections werent plugged-in and / or were loose. Its been 4 months since the accident and Im still dealing with the fallout due to Key Collision.

The morning I was supposed to pick up my vehicle, I got a call confirming it would be ready, just needed a wash. 4 Hrs later I got a call that when performing the alignment, they found more damage. They ordered the parts and now I have no wait another week for my car, which has already been there for 2 weeks.Fast forward 2 more weeks and I did get my car back. It took longer than anticipated for the part to come in and then it had to be welded. They did keep me informed daily about the last part. Overall they did a great job on my repairs and their customer service is outstanding. I would recommend Key Collision.

I typically dont like to leave a bad review even with the b.s. I went through last year. They had my truck for over a month it was a fender bender a little front end damage. I have aftermarket headlights and a grille and apparently they have no idea how to install any after market parts. My grille wasnt installed properly the headlights werent Installed properly they were missing bolts and hardware the grille wasnt Installed in the headlight clips pretty easy thing to see when you have it apart. I have $700 headlights with led drl they told me they dont know how to get the drl to work in the heaights or grille? How do you not know this is what you do for a living. My alignment was so far off if I took my hand off the wheel I would go off the road. Ive fixed so many things its pathetic. Today I was changing my headlight bulb when I took the trim off the bumper was all rusted out beneath the foam bumper I mean bad like they painted it and stuck the foam bumper on while the paint was wet. Its like that on both sides of the bumper in 2 7 spots. I had to bring the truck back to them 3 times last year from all the things they did wrong . Here I am not even a year later and I need a new bumper . I have pictures and videos detailed on the matter so any kind of rebutle they have is to try to save face .

Only an estimate right now but was fast and they take care of everything. No stress! Had my service done, again no stress. They take care of everything. Kept me update and car was done ahead of time. Looks like new again!

Key was amazing when my car got trashed in an accident. They were very prompt in contacting me anytime anything changed. My car was originally promised for a specific day, but due to Covid supply chain issues, the parts took longer to come in than they originally planned. But the second promised date it was ready and looked better than before my accident! Customer service was top notch, and this is coming from someone who worked in CS for 10 years. Stellar service, stellar work. All around 10/10 would recommend.

After botching the repairs on our car this place had the nerve to ask us to give them a 10 out of 10 on their nonsense survey form. You can tell it was a nonsense form because rather than give you a range of 1 to 10 to select from the ONLY choice they allow you to pick is a 10!!! Months later and we are still finding things they did not put back together correctly. Avoid this place like the plague!

The component here was great communication between the consumer and the members of the team. Due to the holidays there was some delay in obtaining the parts to complete the repair but regardless I was contacted on a regular basis to give me the status of my vehicle. When the car was completed I wanted it back but needed to do that during off hours but that was not a problem. I had my truck back that night. The service was exceptional and I would definitely return to Key Collision if I needed any type of service to my vehicle.

I have had to use Key Collision twice over the last 18 months because of two minor accidents, (neither my fault!), resulting in moderate damage to my vehicle. The work they performed, both times, was perfect. A highly professional environment with a fantastic staff really takes the sting out of vehicle body damage. I cant imagine it gets any better than this. I certainly will never use anyone else, but, lets hope I wont need anyone for quite some time!

Great place for service. I had to have my hood stripped and repainted due to a rogue shingle from my apartment building assaulting my beautiful blaze blue paint! These people were, in a word, awesome. The bodywork was perfectly done, and the car ready when they said it would be. This was my first serious collision with damage to my vehicle. I had no idea what to expect and the staff here took me under their wing and made the process extremely comprehensive. I was very nervous at first because I know that some places can try to find every possible thing wrong with your vehicle when you’re working with an insurance company because the insurance company will pay for it and I only need to pay for the deductible. Let me tell you from the quote to the work being done and picking up my vehicle the staff made me feel very comfortable and definitely are not a place that would do something like that. I did a lot of research on what needed to be fixed with my vehicle and they were right on the nose with what I would expect it to have been. I was hesitant with the mixed reviews on here, but they had availability and I needed my truck fixed. They were great, the text updates on the progress were very helpful and both the drop off and pick up process were both very easy. I had absolutely no complaints and I would use Key again in the future.

Key Collision has fantastic customer service all the way around from the people at the desk greeting you to the repair specialist who contacted me on a daily basis to give me an update on my repair.

I was rear ended mid March. There was only damage to the rear bumper, so no involved body/frame work, just replacing the plastic bumper and clips. Ill admit I was hesitant using Key Collision of Concord as the on line reviews were really mixed.  I would have preferred using my local auto body/mechanic, but it would have been so much more involved getting estimates to Geico for approval, logistics of renting a car and time frame to get the work done.  Geico has an arrangement with Key Collision (Auto Repair Express Program) which was suggested to me, so I took a chance.  I am very happy I did.  The entire process was seamless, they were very professional from the initial visit, I received daily updates and the work was done in a timely manner within the proposed timeline.

Accident repair

My truck looked fine when I got it back. Cool. Great. What really got my goat though is the amount of stuff missing from inside when I got it back. Over $100 in tools.. 100% they were in there and 100% they were not when I picked it up. I guess some of that is on me for leaving them.. but I was unaware theyd be in the cab cleaning and going through my stuff. When I contacted them about it they seemed totally unsympathetic about the matter, but said a manager would be in touch. Couple days later and no call from a manager I called them up. Their response.. they talked to the technicians and they said they didnt take anything and we trust our guys. I asked if they have any sort of procedure for when something like this happens and they said that that was the best they can do. Awesome.They also misquoted me on the final price. Called me while fixing it and asked me if Id like to fix another scratch while they were at it. I asked how much and they said $120 so, I said sure why not. Turned out to be $180 when I picked it up. $60 is a small difference, but still.. its something.Now, Im sure this review wont do much to their business. I was referred here from my insurance company and they seemed to be kinda based out of there so they will probably keep referring clients, but if you do have a choice.. think about it. At the very least take everything out of your vehicle before you drop it off.

Never good the have to come to a collision repair place but it happens. It wasnt so much this place but more the fact that they didnt help with insurance I would have paid cash for the repair they did and never had gone to my insurance company. Everyone I talked to agreed on the best way to repair my vehicle and then these guys just heated up metal on the frame and never replaced the rubber or anything other than a skid plate that wasnt even that bad looking a week later my front end acts funny when I use my brakes and now Im wanting for them to fail completely maybe it will get my truck repaired the right way.So an update. I had to drive to Florida and the bolts on the lower control arms backed off and loosened up. It was great how fast it ate my tires. Not to mention the amount of slop when I was trying to turn. Im just great full that i made it to Florida in one peace for school. My insurance company had to do a bunch of research and see it I was at fault or something so I get to go almost a month in a different part of the country with out a vehicle. But I looks like I maybe done soon.Positive note i didnt find anything missing.

Please if your vehicle is repaired at key make sure the repairs are done correctly. My airbag sensor wasnt even attached in my vehicle it was dangling with a broken screw! I cant believe they allowed me to drive my vehicle in the unsafe conditions it was in! I cant stress enough to have someone who knows vehicles to make sure your vehicle is repaired correctly!

I brought in my car, mind you I own an expensive car not just some cheap garbage. My insurance company recommended this place- unfortunately. I got my car back and there were dents on the bumper, dents on the side, and the wiring was off. I told them about it and the butch women that works there said they werent responsible even though they were the ones that had my car the entire time. I am irrate....no one deserves this kind of treatment. Do not go here.....they are awful. Bad customer service and bad people.

Suspect high volume tighter margin repair business. Re insurance company heavily involved. Truck ready on quoted time repair.Smooth rental with new car. A few post repair issues. A couple pretty ignorant ones by what I would assume to be their in house clean up guy. They took care of it professionally. Still have one issue though I never called. Just didnt want to have to go back a third time. All in all maybe 3 1/2 stars.

How I wish I had checked the Google reviews before going to this place. It was one of two local places my insurance company have preferred status, which was supposed to mean less paperwork.We brought the car in for an estimate. They didnt know whether they would be able to complete it that day but said they would by the next morning so we left it with them.By the next afternoon we hadnt gotten a call so I called them. First they asked if it was there, which was a bad sign. Second, they said they hadnt gotten a chance to look at it yet. Since we we short a car, taking that long for even an estimate wasnt good. So I called the other preferred place and they said they could do the estimate in 20 minutes.I called Key back up and told them that we were coming to get the car. Business was obviously good for them because they were busy, but we were hoping for a faster turn around. We thought we would be able to drive the car while waiting for parts since it was just bumper damage.This is where the fun started. He asked why and I explained the need to get the car back. He then tried to get me to rent a loaner car from them. I said no. Then he said he would check how much longer it would be and call me back. At this point I was thinking if they could get it done today, it would still be okay.He called me back and told me I couldnt come and get it. I asked why and he said it was taken apart. I asked why it was taken apart when it was just getting an estimate. He said as soon as we bring it for an estimate, we were authorizing repairs. He then argued about how we signed a paper saying they could. We said we signed a paper saying they could do an estimate only.At this point, the whole thing was fishy and dishonest considering 10 minutes before, they hadnt even looked at it yet. We decided we didnt want them repairing it. We told them to put it back together. They said they would have to charge us for it. We argued about that for awhile, then it became important enough to get the car away from them so we said to put it back together anyway and we were coming to get it.I made a quick call to the insurance company about this situation. While I was on the phone with the insurance, Key called back to say they couldnt put it back together because they broke the bumper clips while taking it off.They basically held our car hostage unless we wanted to tow it out in parts and pay the for taking it apart. At this point we had no choice but to leave it.They took several weeks to fix it and had the nerve to try and rent me a car again. Nice little business. Keep the car as long as you want and make money off the rentals.When we got the car back, we were not surprised to find issues. They left a scape, didnt fix a panel hanging down, and the trunk is out of alignment so rain will probably leak in. There was no way we were leaving it there again once we got it back, though. We took the hit and are getting the rest repaired out of pocket elsewhere.

4 Year’s ago my sister brought her car there for a dent a paint repair they did a great job recently my dodge was in a minor accident they took it the same day during a snow storm an fixed it all right up an took care of little stuff here an there an went above an beyond they’ll definitely be my number one body shop wouldn’t let anyone else touch my car these guys definitely have my business thanks again key!

My car was hit by the front tire. They fixed the car. I drove away and through the weekend on a tire that had all five lugnuts loose. They denied they even took the tire off to inspect it. They damaged my alignment and tread on my tire. I have all wh3l drive so now have to replace all 4 tires. They refuse to give me my deductible back to cover the cost. Swindlers. Never go here. Ever.

I just want to point out that I brought my car here for repairs but it ended up being totaled put because it was costing to much. During all of this process Ive been dealing with so many things and healing from various things as well. Get in a car accident, have surgery shortly after for something unrelated to the car accident, having to owe a bunch of money because gap insurance wasnt added to my loan/deal when i bought the car that was back in january/february, in the middle of moving and working crazy hours. I want to thank the ladies, Natalie and Melinda at the front desk. They both have been great! Natalie has been so kind and so helpful with this situation. Ive dealt with her more than Melinda but Melinda is awesome too for calling me back when she found my dogs ashes that must have fallen from somewhere. I appreciate it! I brought my car back today so they could see and clean a mess on the interior they made. The manager completely denied they made the mess. I was absolutely sure they were responsible she continued denying telling me I was wrong. It pushed me off they are wrong . They did clean the mess and I thanked them . The previous reviewer is absolutely right about theft. If you do decide to go here, make sure your car is completely empty- remove every single thing you possibly can -check all the compartments (they even steal candy!). If you do find anything missing & mention it, be prepared for extreme denial and a lecture on how well their techs are paid. Its almost like theyre all trained to say the same thing, from the front desk to the Manager- weve NEVER had any complaints before. Yeah, sure you havent!

They lost the key/fob to my car and failed to notify me promptly, resulting in 4 days of delay and hours of inconvenience during the December holidays. Things can happen - they handled this poorly.

I have had to use this place because of Ins. I was not satisfied with the lack of concern for my need to have my car with tow capability . I had their rental they think that was enough. This was MOUSE damage not a wreck. They could not get their excuses correct when called. Final straw was when I had to call the Kia dealer and found my car had been done for some time. And Key just had mot followed up.

Horrible experience. Not professional. They broke person objects in my car. They gave me my car back covered in white dust. Had to go back because they didnt do things right the 1st time. While I was in waiting area I herd them talking about how they couldnt find another customers keys. When they brought me my car the tire light was still on. I had to go back again because they forgot to check the tire. The main reason I came back that day! I would not recommend them.
