This place is very unprofessional and members of the staff are dont know what they doing at times. They mishandle accounts by not applying the payment to the balance. My girlfriend has to put them in check about her account every time she pays.
Purchased a refrigerator, the one I wanted wasnt in stock, but the manager Kim ordered it for me, and within 2 weeks she had it at the store . Ive never had anything but great service here. And if I ever need anything else that I dont have the cash just to run out and buy,I wouldnt hesitate to use R.A.C again & especially this store.
The other day I spoke with the manager of the store Johnquis Burris to make a arrangement because I had been hospitalized for some time and unemployed. He was very unprofessional and disrespectful would not go over my information with me to get understanding about the account. He was yelling and ruled. I had a payment he would not take. And told me he owned the store. This is what he said! This is my store. He dont own the store at all he is just the manager. We could have worked something out to bring the account to good standing.
They are very helpful at this location. Very quick service and also quick delivery!
So sad the money i have paid tobthis comoant never been late for almost 5 months since i bought a washer and dryer from this rent a center.. Tara is the most rudest managrr i have ever in my life delt with.. On top of this she wouldnt work with me a week so i could just double up on my payment ...havent never ever asked for a extension not only that the washer i purchased messed up and tgey did give me a loaner but its nothing like what i purchased... Plus they have had it for 6 weeks..as i continue to pay for it.. Never ever again will i do business with this company.. I called corporate to make a complaint but was hung up on... I suggest you buy from someone else..
Terrible! I received my furniture and upon delivery my hardwood floors were damaged due to the associate dragging the tv stand across my floor. The bluetooth tv stand did not work. They promised to send a tech to fix it, never did. When I spoke to Tara, store manager, she just kept lying about sending someone out. The when I spoke to her about the damage she told me she filed a claim but wouldnt provide proof such as a claim number. Tara told me she had no proof until corporate sent a email response. I talked to corporate who assured me that she should have provided a claim number if she did in fact file a claim. So now Im reporting the issue to corporate who will be contacting the regional manager and I will be sure to report how terrible Tara is. Its been nothing but a headache ...Aarons is much cheaper, bettet quality. The professionalism is through the roof. Dont waste your time.

SO, AS SOON AS 7 WAS NEARING I NOTICED THEY HADNT SHOWED, SO I CALL THEM, FIND OUT THEY WERENT GOING TO DELIVER MY FURNITURE BECAUSE THEY CLAIM THEY DIDNT GET IN TOUCH WITH ONE OF MY REF! SAID THEIR NUMBER WAS DISCONNECTED WHEN I JUST SPOKE TO THEM AND THEIR NUMBER WERE WORKING FINE!! SO I SAY WELL IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO DELIVER MY FUNITURE THEN GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK, THEY SAID: WERE CLOSE NOW, BUT IF YOU COME ON MONDAY AND ITS WITHIN THE 7 DAYS THEN YES YOU CAN GET YO MONEY BACK THEN HUNG UP! Ive been a customer of RAC for many years prior to moving to NC. Service had always been superior to any other furniture rental. In fact, prior to moving to NC, my family and I lived in Philadelphia. Our RAC was at 7227 Frankford Avenue. My name was Chanjrah Cochran at the time, and I cant tell you how many things we rented from them. Seamlessly. Professionally. It was a pure joy working with them. I thought THAT service would be represented at all RAC locations. Then I moved to NC, and the horror begun.I initially had to rent a washer from RAC located at 884 Concord Parkway N, Concord NC 28027. My washing machine died, and we were getting ready to move and needed a washer ASAP. I started the app online. Never received a call. Took a chance and went in. Had all docs required, references everything. Payment made. Delivery was promised the next business day. Well, it wasnt. The staff, at that time, decided to wait till the last minute to start checking references. As they were unable to reach some of them, my delivery date was compromised. When I called incessantly to inquire, one was the basic courtesy any two bit business extends a customer. The lady was rude, unprofessional and mean. When I finally did get the item, the delivery guys were phenomenal. But thats it. When I moved, I decided not to take the washer, and had them pick it up.A few months after moving, I started receiving sales calls from RAC, indicating that I had some credit left on my previous appliance rental. I didnt need anything at that time, but when I needed a recliner, I took a chance on RAC...again. On 12-04-2015, I returned to the store with all required docs. I had my SS Disability letter that indicated that I was paid monthly. Tiara took my payment, set up delivery for the next day, and set up what I thought were monthly payments.I went in the hospital for a few weeks and my adult son was responsible for paying bills. He paid RAC, but only paid them $26.74. The same thing the following week. My son had no idea how the payments were initially set up, do he didnt see any red flags. However, I knew that I would not have the next two weekly payments. I called the store to see what the issue was. The first man who answered the call, let it slip that I was set up on monthly payments, due on the 3rd, but my next payment was due on the 17th. He was unable to offer why thus happened, put me on hold. Tiara did get on the phone, and said that somehow the payments were screwed up and that if I paid $66 or so, it would take me to the 3rd. I didnt have the money and at this point was so tired of the un professionalism, I opted for them to pick up the chair. Tiara advised that a manager would have to approve it, so I waited...again. When the manager came on, I reiterated the issue. And do you know what he said? Youve a payment due tomorrow. Can I take that from you today? Realizing that he was being disrespectful, I told him that I wanted the chair picked up. He said that they would be out today between 2-4.RAC arrived here way before 1 pm to pick up the chair. I didnt have a chance to get anything moved. No one bothered to call and ask if they could come earlier. Do, they proceeded to DRAG this faux leather recliner across the floor, onto the street and put it on the truck. They didnt ask me to sign anything, like they did when throw picked up the washer. Got in the truck and left.Not only am I writing this to you, Im sending it to my local paper, the BBB, Consumer Advocacy groups and anyone else who will listen. The shoddy service I received from this store is unpalatable, even for me, a girl who grew up hard on those Brooklyn streets. I will NEVER do business with this company, will advise everyone else to do the same.Thank you for your time.

Never again RAC for anything. Over priced, washer and dryer always breaking, and they damaged the door on my pantry when delivered.
