They hard very great Customer service! I loved the energy when talking to the employees and the owner. The lobby setup was great also with all the decoration and snacks! Howard and his staff are more than accommodating. We have been helped by them several times and I always recommend them when people ask. They are just like the name says. Fair. When they are done with you I believe both sides are happy. They take pride in satisfying the customer and warranty their work.

They fixed them within hours, provided a full breakdown and showed me the old and burnt out part. I recently purchased a car and wanted an unbiased opinion to see if it was in good shape. I decided to go here because of the good reviews and Im happy I did. They were able to get me in that day and when I got there, they were on time. The owner was extremely nice and very knowledgeable. I mentioned I didnt know much about cars (as Im sure he could tell when my eyes would glaze over) so he broke everything down and explained it to me without making me feel dumb. Simply just educating someone else. Ill definitely be back for future car services.

Im glad I can tell people about this place. Honestly, I went somewhere else first and got quoted over $500. I took my car to Howard (saw me as soon as i got there with no appointment) here at Fair Repair and he quoted me half of that. He was honest about what my car needed (not what he wanted to sell me) so i can definitely appreciate the honesty. He always stayed in contact when i had questions afterwards. Unfortunately, the part i got replaced failed (because of the part, not the repair) but Howard and his guys towed my car for me, replaced the failed part, and did extra work to make it all match up and beautiful. When my car left his shop, it felt newer than when i got it. This business is the definition of family feels with professional work. Very kid friendly environment. Im getting my oil changes here from now on, too. Plus the waiting room has snacks and drinks. Thanks you guys!

Took them 3 days to fix my cars AC. They started with a quote of $200-$300, then went to $500-600, then $700-$800, then it jumped to $2000. When we stated that we didnt have that kind of money, they said they would help us out and drop the price to $1200. Finally they called and said the vehicle was ready, but when we arrived they still werent done, so theres was a small wait. When they were done they left a lot of filthy, greasy fingerprints all over our vehicle. They didnt have the decency to clean up after themselves. The $1200 quote turned out to be $1373.00 in the end. I guess if you live in NC its a good shop for return customers, but if youre from outta town, avoid this place at all cost. Horrible experience.

- 100 starsGot charged 384 for a brake job and a air filter to be changed that never happened, my brakes were squeaky and my air conditioner came back smelling musty .Then I had to wait 45 minutes in the office, because the boss refused to change the paper in the credit card machine. If you’re a woman do not go here I was flirted with, and made very uncomfortable they will overcharge you and not do any work on your car do not go here!!!!

Howard and his team has been great! I found them about a year ago and have always had great service so when my car broke down last weekend I had it towed straight to fair care. One repair was fixed but there was another issue later. Howard picked up the car from my house, fixed it the same day, and washed my car! Im so grateful! I had a flat tire on my car and was worried about how to get it replaced. My husband visited Fair Repair and ordered the tire. We were trying to work out how to get my car to the shop to have the tire put on, but Howard said that he could stop by our house and put it on for us (he lives near us). I took my car in after a bad experience with a quick oil change place. After leaving the oil change place I noticed a bad odor coming through my vents and oil leaking in my garage. I took it back and they stated they tightened the caps. Upon getting home again I noticed something hanging from underneath my car that was scraping the ground. They were clear and honest. The dealer quoted me $1000 dollars for a repair and I knew that was high so I checked with fair Repair and their quote was almost half that price. That says it all for me. And they did it with one day turnaround where the dealer was going to take a week. Im definitely going back to them from now on.

The people were nice. They got me in and out quickly, but the reason they got a 3 is because there were SPIDERS everywhere in the waiting area. Some dead and some alive you couldnt really tell. They even had a dead cockroach. They need to for sure clean up their area.

The service assessment was spot on and they got straight to the point. I had took my SUV to the dealership, and they told me that I needed to get my lower control arm replaced (adding in extra unnecessary expenses).It turned out to be only a brake pad issue (minor issue vs. major). Upon my arrival the waiting room was very clean, plenty of seating and they offer free coffee. I was immediately greated by the owner Howard who was extremely professional and tended to my needs quickly. He asked me various questions about my vehicle trying to pinpoint the problem. The employees all had their uniforms on and his staff was very professional and friendly. To my surprise the shop was clean, organized and the restroom was very clean. Once Howard ran diagnostics on my vehicle he let me know the problem and the cost to repair. Fair Repair isnt out to price gouge the customer which is unheard of today. My overall experience at Fair Repair was exceptional and I would highly recommend this business to my family & friends.

We have been bringing personal and fleet vehicles for a few years now to Rons. The staff is very knowledgeable, The pricing is fair and reasonable. They are a busy shop for a reason, which is why it takes a little more time than the bigger shop which just treats you like another number and rushes through the job instead of being thorough. Honesty is a hard thing to come by in this field but these guys are the real deal, man woman or child, ive seen all types of customers treated just as they treat me.

I had an issue with a 96 camry leaking oil. Tried everything under the sun (YouTube, word of mouth, shade tree mechanics). Never fixed the issue. I was a customer of Rons for about 5 years until they CHANGED OWNERSHIP and staff within the past year or so. Took my car in under the new management for a diagnostic on my check engine light. The problem was the gas cap needed to be replaced. These guys charged me $38 to tell me that I needed a new gas cap. I couldve had it diagnosed at Autozone for free but I thought it was something more serious. This is definitely not a good way to gain or keep existing customers. Will not be returning.

Very practical and knowledgeable service is found here. Ron diagnosed and fixed a rough idle problem with my 2004 Explorer which a local Ford Dealer had diagnosed as a cracked valve spring - only after paying for two diagnostics fees of $75.00 each - and their expert motor mechanic said it was so. Nope - It was the dynamic balance which had come apart. $350.00 at Rons instead of $1700 + at you know who.Ron also fixed a winny rear end on the Explorer which had two replacements under an extended warranty by a dealership. Problem identified, shimmed up incorrectly. Ron fixed it for under $200. No more noise.I can go on with fixes to my 97 F-150 which Ron has solved that other could not.Do not waste your money - Check Ron out first. It will be the least cost and best fit.

My fiance brought her car into rons for repair. She was treated very rude by the staff for asking questions. After all she is a lady and does not know all they know about cars and repair etc. She let it go and when an estimate was called in to her is was $1200 and she had other estimates for $800 and $670 for the same work done. rons charged her $150 fee and she went and had the same work done by another mechanic (at a much bigger and nicer facility within 5 miles of rons) These people at rons are rude and will try to take advantage of you especially if your a woman. DONT GO TO RONS AUTO REPAIR!!!!
