Ana was so rude and disrespectful. Looked like she was the one overseeing at the time. Being courteous and friendly to customers is not so hard. Especially if your position consists of interacting with customers. If your not happy with your job you should consider another position that does not interact with customers.

Been coming here since I was in my teens used to have great customer service, staff is now rude, rare to find a worker on the floor for help, outside is always a mess. Usually find what I need there, fresh fruits & veggies is like 50/50. Good prices surprising finds. Came yesterday night says here on Google they close at 10pm it was after 9pm and they were closing, lady just yells at us 6 feet away store is closed not Im sorry but store is closed, when my mom went to go look at the hours near the door the lady stated yelling at her that I said the store is closed.

On 8/13/2021, the Customer Service was not good. I am a African American Disabled Client w/Assistive Animal who needed to use the bathroom and was told okay, then told, the bathroom was out of order then allowed to use it. It was obvious that they placed out of order signs on bathrooms to screen who they allow. I was a patron who spent $21.68. The Hispanic females were selective. Please investigate. Thanks.

Pretty decent my favorite location is on Willow in Long Beach. That community is a lot safer. The owner may want to go to the office supply section and remove the 2020 Calendars that cost $2.49, seeing as how this is December 2020 and I mistakenly bought one.

99 ⭐s for this store. Every morning after walking my kids to school ( around the block from the store) was a must for a group of us moms. We were well known there and we knew the friendly, polite, and helpful employees there too. Ive moved from Compton & now live in L.A. but my mom is still there so when I go visit mom Visiting My favorite 99¢ store is a Bonus for me.Ill ALWAYS promote and recommend this store to anyone, but especially to the Moms who are on a budget because you get good quality products and the atmosphere is just rite. Thanks to all the team members for good customer service and the Friendly atmosphere.

*Updated Review : I was impressed by the stocked items & options. The fruit is fresh & it has a fridge/freezer section, however it wasnt fully stocked when I visited. The furniture finds were great! and the lines werent too bad, but there was an incident with an apparent frequent shopper (as explained by the cashier), that seems to have $100-200 worth of items, then never has money. so it held up the line. The Location isnt as bad as I thought it may be.

Finally, got security.

Just the name, not a lot of products that you normally find in other 99 Cents stores, robotic cashiers they dont care about anything very sorry that they are in position to help customers but decide not to.

This is the closest 99 cent store to me and Ive been going to it since it opened. The last 3 times I have been here, I always end up with the same cashier, Yvette (thats the name on the receipt). She is by far the most rude cashier Ive encountered here. You say Good morning to her and she ignores you. She then proceeds to THROW your items onto the counter after ringing them. If you bring your own bags, she doesnt bag them for you. And she rushes you out. Doesnt even say Have a Nice day like Ive heard the other cashiers wish the customers. Absolutely the rudest cashier. The first time she did this I let it slide. But she continues to be rude and overall cranky. Management should really place her elsewhere where she doesnt have to deal with customers cause this last encounter has made me never return to this store.

This store has many nice items for $0.99. In addition, the product are all nice stack up on the shelves. It is always clean. The only down side they only have a few checkout line .

Love this place. Great variety of items. They stock up on Thursdays, so come for the latest items. Only problem is there have been a lot of bums as of lately.

Wow. First time here. Staff i encountered were nice and friendly. Location is HUGE. I was surprised everything was orderly and clean. Lots of quality items. I WOULD come here again if Im in the area.

There is a white cashier lady who made me late to work because she opened her register and since I was in a rush to go, went and stood in her line.She noticed I was in a rush and she didnt take me even though I was standing right in front of her. The items were on the register counter ready to scan. I was buying a gift bag and a hand sanitizer. All she had to do was charge me quickly and get rid of me, but she gave me attitude and told me she was taking the next customer while I was barely walking up to the registers. I didnt like that and if I had time I would have asked for the manager. Even if its a dollar store there should be good customer service and customers should be treated nicely. Just because its an affordable and convenient discount store doesnt mean customers are poor and could be treated rudely. Very disappointed because this is my favorite convenience store and this lady made my shopping experience stressful.

Not the best, not the worst, it seems like they just stick to 1 plan, if theres only 2 registers open and theres a long line on each it doesnt matter they wont open a new one. I usually just go late at night or very early before it gets crowded, after 11am-12pm expect a long line.

I like this one because it really clean and they always have fresh fruits and vegetables.And theres always someone to help if you want or need it.

Good place for grocery shopping, but people working there dont help that much.

From the frozen dept., love that Bertolis bow tie pasta w/ spinch, w/ garlic butter sauce, to which I added sauteed jumbo shrimp too.....along w/ a mean Cesar Salad boom!!

I Love shopping at the 99 cents only stores! They started to have Alot of named brand items..like Oreo Cookies, etc. I stop there first, then go to the Regular grocery store, Food for less etc.
