Wow amazing clinic the front desk is so friendly and they are bilingual...really fast service and Dr.gwen (i think thats how u say the name) was so professional & nice ....bring my 3 kids here and I recommend to my friends & family

Even though the office is small and gets extremely crowded at times, the majority of the staff is friendly, polite and professional. However, there is one particular heavy set lady who never smiles and always have an attitude. She is very rude every time I go to the Compton Office. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for her bad attitude & rudeness.

While their office may be a bit small and crowded at times, they provide great and quick service. The staff is friendly and helpful. They made the process pleasant and simple.

I am a patient of years to this office. I usually have a good experience when I come here, but not this past year. The girls in the front desk did not greet me as usual. I had an appointment made for my husband and child at 9:30 a.m., and was not out of the office until it was almost time to close. The girl Josie, in the front desk, said that my insurance was not ran. Mind you I made the appointment two weeks in advanced. They were chit chatting with the girl that took my co-payment, Vicky, about the night before. She obviously looked like she came straight out of a night club. Not very professional, like Rita who is usually there during the week. I agree that the prices are a bit on the high side, which I dont have a problem with if I am getting the service that I want. The doctors are Great! Karla always gives the best service. I can tell that they change personnel quite often. Jesus was good, but I honestly liked the girl that was doing the tests at the back before Espi. She was very patient with my 12 year old son, and was always smiling. Other than that, I think some changes should not be made. especially when your patients are happy with the service. They do great contact lens fittings, but I would make sure on the pricing.

Never answer the phone and voicemail always full been trying too call for A MONTH!!

Love the doctors the girls are nice too. They are clean and mostly they have modern equipment. Some of the frames are expensive but just go ahead and ask them for what does my insurance covers. If not they will try to sell you the most expensive frames there. Also they will get it you in the lens. They type you need if you drive at night its the glare ripe, so on. If you dont need it dont get it. Well may be that one cuz if they get scratched just take them back they will fix it for free. Over all they are efficient and polite.

The people that work here are rude, they act like it’s an very known optometry place 😂. The service is bad. There are better optometrists out there, stay away from this place

I like Dr. Messingers office because they are very organized and thorough. They always let you know what they are doing and give you the results of the testing they do.

I started coming here 7 years ago I sat for 3 hours while all the minority Hispanic race was seen before my daughter the receptionist is very racist and judgemental.... I will never come back to a place that is so very clearly racist against the black minority it has changed so much in the past 7 years

I accidently damaged my frames and my usual OD does sell plastic frames but they would need to order them & I would pick up the next day for $105.Jay H Messinger had $30 frames and up!! Not many color choices BUT the frame style was similar to the ones I had broken. The waiting time was approx. 1-2 hours but it was so worth it especially when its an emergency and as a walk-in! If ur low income and need a quick fix or spend $30 for a new look this is the place to go. It does gets a bit crowded at times since the office is small. Parking is located next door.Walmart and Macys frames will for sure take your last $100 left from your paycheck unless you got good credit!!!
