Great store tucked away in a large shopping center plenty of shopping besides Walmart

Why are their so many out of stocks? This is Not The Only Department that Ive Seen Like this. Very Disappointing to Go In at 8am and Beat The Long Lines Just to Find Out That Half of the Products I Was Shopping For Werent There. Its Not The First Time That I Had To Encountered This at The Compton Walmart. Plenty of Outs Around the Store. I Just Happend to See More Outs in This Department than any Other. When I Happen to Ask Your Associates When Will You Be ReStocking/How Often Do You ReStock. All They Do is Shrug Their Shoulders and Say I Have No Idea/ I Dont Know. Lack of Customer Service

Courteous greeters at the self scan registers and although it was a small commute from where I live, I was able to run in, check out and purchase what I needed in a very reasonable amount of time. Keep up the good work, Wal-Mart!!

The only bad thing is you have go find a cart other than that the store is well organized and employees are always helpful

I like compton wallie world but they do need more baskets and cashiers..alot of the times I go the lines are hella long..but they do keep it clean and stocked..thats a plus!🙌🏾

Worst experience at a Wal-Mart store. No carts available, but plenty of attendants hanging around out by the entrance. Lots of shelves unstocked, understandably so. Long lines at the registers. Self-checkout is the only one I have seen so far that only can be used with a limited amount of items. Too many customers in this location that came in unmasked, despite all the employees by the entrance. Praying that I never have to return to this location again. This just happened to be close to my work, otherwise I could have avoided this trip.

Actually better than I thought, even the bathrooms were clean.

I gave 3 stars due to the fact it is A Super Walmart. They were fully stocked, ran efficiently, masks required, social distancing enforced, limited compacitity.Granted, its the majority of some folks that do not follow procedures that bring up situations. I had several ppl that just cut in front of me and disregard i was there. Some wore no mask and social distancing was asked but was left alone to not cause a scene.Ill be honest you must make sure your vehicles are locked. Theres allot of people hanging out walking around in parking lots. They do have security.

This Wal-Mart makes you look for your own basket in the parking lot. The handicap baskets are never charged. I saw a lady waiting for an hour so battery can charge on the basket. I will never go there again.

My local Walmart, this use to be a shopping center prior to being a Walmart. It tends to be stocked well but a bit disorganized at times, certain items disappear almost as soon as they arrive (like kids clothes). Some days the arent any carts, while other days its nice and full (I guess it depends whos working that day).The fishing sections unfortunately only gets 2 ⭐⭐ stars because its wildly inconsistent. Some days it pretty well organized if a little empty, other days it looks like they just dumped the fishing stuff out of the bins. Some days I find nice stuff, I just have to dig around a bit.But all in all I like this store and prefer to shop here, hopefully they give back to the community that shops here.

Good luck getting them to answer their phone. I had someone (Kevin Caldera to be exact) hack into my Walmart account & place a pickup order for this location. I thankfully cancelled before his scheduled pick up time & I tried to contact this location to make them aware of the situation. Since I am in Georgia, my only method of contact was through the phone & I spent all day repeatedly trying to get through. The phone would ring for 4 minutes before disconnecting. Absolutely ridiculous.

They have great prices on fruits in season. Be sure to grab a basket the moment you see one. They never have any at the front same with wheel chairs. They have a limited supply. They run low on certain baby products.You can also pay in the beauty products as long as its 10 items or less.

I went today for the 1st time and Im impressed. I liked everything inside the store, it was clean and organized. I went for for some vaccines I needed for my new job (which were less expensive there than other places I called) and stay shopping for clothes and food.

Pretty good just need to work on the lines in electronics 4 people there only one line even though all employees were helpful

Super okay selections beyond the norm, good food to cook, fresh fruit and veggies to consume, seasonal clothes and shoes to wear, the list goes on!

I love the online pickup option! But their in-store customer service sucks... Big time. You cant get any assistance. The team members are rude. And if youre purchasing items that are in a locked cabinet, you wait forever for a team member to come and unlock the cabinet. They need to do better.

Will gives the best service for pickup! He’s very nice and is careful when giving your order to you. I love this Walmart!

Hard to find what your looking for, even the employees seem lost. Id give a lower review but the store does exist where they say it does and they do sell items you may be interested in buying.

Didnt charge me numerous times like in Indianapolis or metro Detroit. Thanks for not charging me 3x for the same purchase and the female employee was actually very nice who assisted me. I however do not support the CEOs new compound venture. Thank you.

They have great deals on tablets and wires for the phone charger.

To many people, shelves are always empty. Waste of time and gas. Still fun to be there. 🤪👍

Walmart is real good for lots of reasons. Some things are too pricey but i usually have 2 times a month i shop for food, cleaning supplies, my pets stuff and my high geans.

This is the worst Walmart in the country. The lines are always long and the employees are always rude. I understand they deal with rude customers but they assume every customer will be rude to them and automatically give attitude for no reason.

No one ever answers the phone customer service no department picks up only the pharmacy I can get through every single time to the pharmacy no other places.....I always have a problem with the bakery when it comes to having cakes made they can find the cakes theyre not made theyre just making them white when Im arriving if my cake is supposed to be done at 11 theyre just starting at 11 or they dont even have it in the systemI dislike this Walmart

Never enough shopping carts. You always have to wait, scout and search for shopping cart. Its ridiculous

I LOVE this place everyone is so friendly and respectful. When I go to check out everyone is in a hurry to give up their place in line. PRICES ARE GOOD. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Extremely busy, but plenty of checkers. Initially, no carts and not sure the Walmart staff were continuing to wipe down before giving to customers. I had to wipe down my own cart. Once inside, I was able to find everything I needed and then some.

Although they are always crowded they have almost all the lines open for people to get in an out I really appreciate that especially with this covid 19 stuff going on

Its convenient having Walmart nearby but I personally miss the fashion center.

First problem. I was waiting for one of the employees to come open a cabinet with locked up items. Never came after 20 min. Waiting. Second Problem I was frustrated and annoyed when I see plenty of employees walking around talking to each other but dont want to open a cabinet when I ask for help they just pass the book to the next person.🙄 Either make them work or cut their hrs since they prefer to walk around and waste company money. And yes I pressed the button for help like 20 times.

Worst customer service the line was a wait of 30 minutes……

Terrible customer service. I was inside of the beauty center I asked the young lady for help with a product, she did help me but she immediately disappeared after helping me. I got the feeling she didnt want to ring my items up. I only had 9 items in my basket. The shelves are always half full.The lines are always very long with very few registers open. Im going to start shopping at a different location and its sad because I live so close to this Walmart.

Walmart is absolutely incredible everything anything you want or need they have it

Food was decent. Pricey. Bit you do get a big plate of food. Servers are very friendly.

Walmart is walmart there all the same no matter where you are huge stores with huge lines each stores has at least 15 to 20 check lanes and self checkouts which no store Ive ever been in ever has more than five or six open and s of checkouts never all open then the best is when you wait ten or fifteen minutes in self checkout line get up next then they tell you card only and alls you have is cash horrible waist of time???

Had too look around for items as not a lot of staff walking around to assist. Most at a post but, great shopping if you know what you want and where it is. Not good if you are in a hurry..

I get that its Walmart and we cant expect SUPERIOR customer service, but adequate service would be nice. Waited for associates in 2 different areas to get items that were locked. At least the first guy apologized for the 5 minute wait, but the lady that took 10 minutes to show up just opened the case and walked away. I grabbed what I needed and she came back and asked if I got my stuff. Told her yes and she locked the glass and off she went. Ill stick to the Walmart by my work.

Was very pleased with their location, very well stocked in almost all depts.and the employees were very attentive

I love shopping here but please can someone have them get at them workers some of them very unprofessional and rude ....seems like they forgetting about helping the clients if they need help....

The store is alright but getting a basket is another story even when the store isnt crowded so just know if you go to this particular location take the basket in with you from the parking lot cause where all of them are!

I love South gate auditorium I want to visit my self, and its Always to see the, Auditorium.

This walmart is always packed!The parking lot is hell.. but you will eventually find parking.The store is nice, big and clean! Very good grocery selection and everything is stocked pretty nicely. Even while packed lines move pretty quickly!

This Walmart is more convenient than the other locations since Los Angeles city kicked Walmart out. It could be better but they dont treat employees well and it shows in their faces and sometimes customer service. Sad because Compton really needs this store and I know they are making money. Compton is not as poor as people think and folks in the know are snatching up prime real estate.

Please put correct prices on items place in your shelfs I notice most of the items did not have the correct price.Lady in front of me doing a return and only I was waiting to make a return there was 2 emplyoees at the customer service not none of them 2 opened another register they were just there laughing and talking also belive that was security a women she was not wearing a mask!!

A dirty place inside the store asked for help in returning a product that I bought online and guess that the surprise is that they could not receive it because their printer did not work and the boy mentioned that he already had a lot like that so I could not make my claim! !!
