My experience was awesome lady who took care of me I wish I could remember her name she was so helpful and took her time to explain to me some of the items and the ice cream portions were very generous and really delicious creamy and fresh the blue cookie monster flavor and the tostilocos were really good. It was my first time there and I would definitely recommend this place. Awesome!!

A little bit more expensive than other ice cream stores but worthy for the money real fruit in the popsicles they even make tequila ice cream!!!!!

Im new to this area and I went to michiocana I didnt know what to get so I asked for a menu and they dont have one. Ok another day I came asking for a Sunday and the girl didnt know what a Sunday is. I got a banana solit.

A couple of things here. The place is not the cleanest (just look at the doors in my picture). But the worst part is the service. There is only one person serving on a Sunday afternoon! The place was packed and had a long line. In the 20 minutes my wife and I waited 7 people left. As I sit outside writing this review 9 people have gone in and 6 of them have left. It’s a big time money maker but whoever owns this should realize that they need more staff ASAP. They are losing out on tons of money with people leaving.

Compared to other Michoacanas, this location is very stingy... its not worth it for the already inflated prices....

Only one person was working so it took forever. when we finally were served all the ice cream was super freezer burnt and stuck to the sides of the bucket so it took the employee a min to get anything in my cup. also found a hair in one of my scoops of ice cream. wish i had a better experience as i usually love any spot like this.

So happy they opened a location in Commerce/East LA.They have really good ice cream & ice cream bars, along with other snacks.I was greeted & treated very well by a (Hispanic) woman (not sure why all the 1-star reviews) but their ice cream is what really keeps us going back.

Asked for an esquite. The lady said it wasnt ready and would take 15 min. Waited 30 min and left she obviously saw me and didnt want to prepare what i asked for.

If I can give it less than one star I would. To start off the owner has the TVs off letting the customers know the prices. The place is REEEEALLY dirty doesn’t live up the other Michoacana’s. I got 2 one scoop ice creams, a two scoop ice cream, and a esquite which was canned corn and was charged $24!! When asked about the prices the owner went off “explaining” but I couldn’t really understand her and I just paid for my items the receipt doesn’t give out the prices either just the total and that’s it. NEVER coming here again..

There were no napkins and when my son from our family of four asked for napkims she gave him 1 napkin. Then instead of regular spoons she gave us tester spoons lol

The ice cream nut not taste as good as the other michoacana locations.

Asked for fresas con crema and got a poor mans fresas con crema. Literally just the frozen box of strawberries and whipped cream. Didn’t even get a cup.

I’ve been to this location a couple of times and it’s been nothing but great service. Today however; it being the day after Thanksgiving/Black Friday, they were busy. I stood in line for a good 20 min for it to be my turn. There was a larger party ahead of me who had several things to be ordered & only ONE employee running the show. There was an Asian lady, not sure if she’s the owner or manager but she was just standing around watching this poor employee juggle everything on her own. It wasn’t the parties ahead of me fault for the wait time but the LACK OF employees and bad scheduling. I ended up leaving, not bc I couldn’t wait anymore but I felt if I stood there and kept watching the Asian lady just standing around I would’ve said something that would’nt have been too nice.

My sister and I stopped by for a snack and we purchased hot cheetos with cheese, the cheese that was added to the cheetos had mold because of how old the cheese was! It was disgusting! I informed the employee about the incident and she didn’t have much to say all she said was that the owner was the one who brought the cheese so she went to the back and was talking to an asian lady whom I assume id the owner of the place. Never ever will go back to this place, besides the tables were dirty and the kitchen in the back seemed to be dirty when the employees pushed the door to enter the kitchen.

Its an alright place thought they would have the A.C on since its a icecream store. But its always hot inside and the ice creams melt too fast.

I give this location 1 stars due to the fact that the first time we went in to buy some ice cream with my mother, there was an Asian lady there in the register, not sure if she’s the owner or manager or whatever she is. She was very rude! When my mom went to the register to pay for the ice cream popsicles she got that lady just gave her the stuff without a bag and told her “here! I don’t have any small bags for you” and clearly she had some type of issue with my mother because the whole time we were there she was staring at us like we were stealing something and she gave a bag to everybody but her. Then I went back and asked another girl if they didnt have any bags for the stuff we payed for and she gave one to us, and I saw how the Asian lady was scolding one of the employees because they gave us the bag. Clearly this lady has some issues and I don’t even want to imagine how she treats the employees. The whole time while walking out of the store she was staring at us with an attitude. If this is how she treats people while they PAY for the stuff they get at the store I won’t be going back again.

This place sucks. Has nothing posted on the menu. The paletas are miss labeled. had no aguas frescas. Most of the ice creams are are stuck to the bag like if the freezer is not at the right tempature. AVOID THIS PLACE!!. NOT WORTH THE MONEY.!!!! JUST WAIT AT THE H.P ONE..LOL

Second time goimg into this ice cream shop i usually go to the other location in whittier blvd first time i came into this shop i few females where already working there they was not very welcoming and friendly .second time the older asian woman was attending a long line at not the best speed or customer service .hope they can hire staff fast and train them well and if can pay them good thats the only way i think that business will make it other than that im not going back unless the ice scream is free lil

I got an eskite and could tell that the corn was canned corn. When it was time to pay at first the lady had said that it was going to be $8 and then she got distracted with another customer and when she came back she said it was going to be $10. My mom and I told her that she was wrong and she started to argue with us until she calculated our items again and realized that she was wrong

Super nasty smell coming in here . Doesn’t even smell clean . The owner is very rude and up charges people. The service is horrible . Honestly just not a good place of business

Awful service, I was told by server that prices vary “because the owner can charge anything she wants”. I called to speak to owner and hispanic server hung up the phone on me. I was charged $1.50 tax on a $7 purchase.

This was my first time going into this place and it took the workers like 5 minutes just to take my order and while waiting for them to come up to me they were just walking back and forth and when it was time for me to pay the price was ridiculous because I just got 3 things and it costed me $26

Came here with dad to enjoy some ice cream just so the horrible owner / manager Asian lady to screw us over changes price in last minute demands price when the screens shows the actual price.

Bad, bad, bad service.

Very tasty snows, paletas etc. But they should take care of the service was Sunday and they only had 1 person to attend, my respects for the young girl who was attending very kind and fast.

I do not recommend it.! The chinita charges more and there is a lot of mosquito in the snow. Nose how can the A. Bad service. The Michoacán de la whittier and Verne Ave, is better! Good day everyone!

The truth is that this place is very bad I do not recommend it to anyone besides very bad it is very expensive I never expect it to be from Chinese people I am from Michoacán and that place does not have at all a little taste of Michoacan alo
