Im a licensed contractor and I had one of my guys install a very expensive trifold accordion door to the spec and it was cracked upon installation. First guy from Escon came out said everything was installed correctly and that we would probably be getting a new door. 2 weeks later they sent someone else out (???) who said it was my fault but they would fix it for me to be nice. For them to send two guys and have different opinions was a big question mark so I did not have him fix it, this was the most expensive part of my renovation so I was nervous it was faulty. Now the door is cracked to the point of leaking, and my house is going to end up getting flooded for sure. This will be a future lawsuit unfortunately and Ive given every chance for their distributor and the manufacturer to step in and help and they have not. Avoid Escon and CrowMark Building supplies, for the record this is the first time Ive ever made a review on any company in my life so please listen up!

I star for style. Zero stars for quality. I thought I bought a front door made of solid mahogany, but after receiving the door, I looked back on the website, and it does say engineered styles. I must have overlooked that before purchasing because I thought I was receiving a slab door made of solid mahogany, not glued-together small pieces of mahogany. Theres a thin veneer over the glued-together pieces. There are occasional gaps between the strips of veneer. Im really sad and dissatisfied with the quality of this product.

Gorgeous door at an amazing price. They even sold me an add on that we wanted to add without any issues and shipped out immediately. Beautiful!

This is by far one of the worst companies I have ever done business with. After spending a fortune on their doors the so called manager Victor tells me I cant buy replacement hardware from them and he will not give me a part number. Tells me to go to Lowes or someone else like that. Have them call him. Then he gets all pissy after I get upset that they cant do anything and hangs up on me. I call back a little more calmly and then he decides he needs to school me in phone etiquette and says I am not educated. Really? This is how you do business? The fact that the hardware is cheap pot metal and that the doors are so expensive, this is how you talk to your customers? I hadnt even started yelling. Be warned, they will not help you and this guy is a jerk. Just check their BBB rating and the YELP rating for this company. Search somewhere else.
