I frequent this place quit a bit on the weekends taking off projects at home. Wide variety of products and the staff is fairly knowledgeable. Had them order some items earlier this summer and the service was awesome. The delivery occurred when they said it would, they called when it arrived, and knew me when I came to pick it up. Keep up the work!

The service is always incredibly friendly and helpful. But what I love the most about having an Ace Hardware in our community is the fact that they carry those items that you cant find at the big box stores. Such was the case on this trip when I had search the websites of both of those box stores and the items I was looking for werent available. I drove down to the local Ace and then home with what I was looking for. Add that to the proximity and ACE is the place!

I go here quite frequently. What I am looking for is usually in stock however keep in mind this is a smaller Ace w/ barely an outdoor/live plant section. They are always well staffed and they are consistantly friendly and knowledgable.

Went in there on Sunday (5/23/21) to buy two concrete bird baths. Sales associate hauled them out to the curb and waited while I pulled the car up closer (pretty heavy items) and then helped me get them situated in the car. Ace employees I’ve dealt with have always been focused on friendly service. This isn’t my ‘near-home’ Ace but I would definitely recommend to the locals. You will pay a little more than at Lowe’s or HD, but the service makes it worth it.

Dont bother with the small engine repair. All I got was excuse after excuse of why they had not looked at my chain saw in the three weeks they had it. I wont be back any time soon.

Every time my husband and I come to this store they are out of what we need. We come to this store at least 4 times a month for something different.I will change my review once inventory gets better.

Typical Ace Hardware. Slightly smaller than most locations Ive been to, but they had the essentials one would need to care for a home.Friendly floor staff, but the cashiers arent the most amicable.Wish I could provide a better rating if it were not for the lack of enforcement of proper/safe mask attire and etiquette with both the employees and customers.

Employees were very quick to help you as soon as you walk into the store.

If I could give this place a negative rating I would. No one is helpful and dont DARE try to get a key cut. They find tons of excuses NOT to cut one. They say they are short staffed, but that doesnt explain the lack of knowledge of items or lack of customer service.

This is a great ACE! I’m usually in need of fasteners and they don’t have the most extensive metric selection but staff is always helpful.

I had ordered online for pick up, and the online ordering was not working. Then when I did go for my order, the cashier was very rude when I tried to give her my online order. Her exact words were, “ the order number does nothing for us. I need your name and what youre here for.” If it weren’t for her tone and rudeness, I would have been okay with it, but in the email, it clearly says bring your order number and ID, which she asked for none of those items.

The staff at this location was amazing! I flew in from Richmond, VA to paint mother’s condo in the area. After some miscommunication, Joe was absolutely amazing in helping me get everything I needed on the spot. He discounted price to match the paint my mother had chosen earlier in the week but were out of. I was in the store several times over the weekend and he was there each time and recognized me and went out of his way to help me through a stressful weekend. Kudos to Joe and his staff!

Great people and friendly knowledgeable staff. Reason it gets a 3 star is because the Franchise owner has marked everything up double the price of Home Depot, Lowe’s and Menards. I understand there the only hardware store except for Home Depot in Brighton and I understand they need to profit. But $9.00 for a lawn mower stark plug, 8 dollars for a 50lb bag of sand, and I’ve been shopping there since 2016, they defiantly need to reconsider there price increases, come on 300-500% mark up is pay day loan profits

Great place to shop for last minute emergency stuff that you forgot at Lowes or Home Depot. Staff is always friendly. Yes, they cost more than the big box store, bit remember youre paying for the convenience of being close to the neighborhood and saving the drive to the big box.

I always seek to support local so I have given this place several chances over a two month period. I simply want a 3/4 apollo repair kit. Ive heard every excuse from we need to go get them to we dont order enough I dont understand the lack of service. Ive even left my contact info for when the item comes in....nothing. disappointed and I am local.

Went to this location to pick up mulch, manager stated there was some in the back and dig it out. I said no problem ill wait, then he Asked me to come back. Im confused? This Manager was just standing by door talking to a younger female employee. I guess bag of mulch was not a big enough sale to go to back a grab a bag. I have spent over $3000 at this location on ego mowers, snow blowers, grass seed, shovels, etc. I will go to a different local store from this point on. Very disappointing due to the fact I have not seen this type of behavior in other ACE establishments it was a pleasure shopping at the Loveland CO store, and maiden NC store.

This Ace Hardware is a much-needed service here in my community. I can certainly go to the big box stores further away but I can almost certainly find most things that I need at my local Ace Hardware. They are always very helpful and eager to serve me as soon as I step in the door. Today I needed a fuse for my furnace and immediately after they opened I stepped inside and was helped out to solve my problem and find the right part that I needed. Very friendly staff, I hope they are around for many many years to serve our community. Thank you Ace.

I was in there today and an employee named Joe helped me out. He was extremely helpful and patient. He asked a lot of questions about what I needed to accomplish and spent a great deal of time going over different solutions to help with what I needed. It was an amazing customer service experience!

Truly disappointed! I had my Ace Hardware purchased lawn mower serviced at this ACE Hardware three weeks ago. When my mower was returned to me I promptly took it home and was going to cut the grass. Upon starting it, it shuddered like mad. Thinking it was just a rough start, I pressed back on the handle and watched my lawnmower blade go flying 60 yards down the street!I immediately went back to Ace Hardware, blade in hand and explained to them what happened. They were apologetic and took my mower in the back. 30 minutes later they told me it looked like the mechanic didnt tighten the blade down properly. They assured me the problem was fixed, gave me my mower and off I went.The next day I start my mower and it ran very rough, not as bad of a shake, but enough to cause cancer. One only needs for the blade to come flying off once at 2500rpms before you think twice. I looked underneath the mower and found out that they placed a circular washer on my lawn mower to keep the blade on...however it now just spins until it runs itself out of energy.I have called the corporate office every week for 3 weeks (like clockwork every Friday at 10AM). I have been told for three weeks that the district manager has you info and incident number and will be responding soon...3 weeks...still nothing. My last recourse is a negative review and a small claims court fine to handle an issue that could have simply been handled with a phone call. They could have at least acted like they cared.Long story short, I have never had this kind of an issue at one of the Big Box Hardware stores. I dont expect perfection and I am tolerable to mistakes, but no contact in three weeks seems rather disingenious and a poor practice. I can only wonder had the response been better if my flying blade had hurt or killed someone. Not willing to find out.

This ACE Hardware is exactly what our neighborhood needs. Let me give you an example. I went down there for a flag pole, and I also needed a bike helmet for one of my kids. They had both. If youre a contractor or doing a massive home renovation they may not have every obscure tool or part, but they have all the basics and then some. The service is great. They have everything a suburban family needs.

The store was clean, the staff was friendly, and everything seemed well stocked. I found what I needed rather quickly and was out the door efficiently. My only complaints are that they are frequently out of live bait during fishing season, but still have a sign out front advertising that they have it, this is not a huge deal but should be mentioned. My other significant complaint once again will only impact a small percentage of costumers. If you are getting a key copied the time it will take is unpredictable. I have had it take 45 seconds and then 10 minutes. These are my only two small complaints, other than that it is a great store with solid staff. I would most highly recommend this for anyone who knows what they are looking for and only needs one or two supplies, if you need anything in bulk try Home Depot or Lowes.

I love this Ace, but the staff are totally a double edged sword. Some of them are fantastic, (like Savannah) and some of them are just terrible. I have had to wait for service whilst s couple of teens discuss thier personal lives and when I asked where something was I just got a wave in the general direction.Unfortunately not a great experience the last several times and I cant really give it more than 3 stars. Will return ofc and would love to update my review.

Its an Ace Hardware so it has many SKU items probably three to 4 times as many items. That being said, what keeps me from giving it a five-star believe it or not is the people. I dont doubt that they are good-hearted and good-natured, that just does not show in their customer service. The Ace Hardware in Fort Lupton is very friendly and amicable and they work hard to have conversation with you through and Beyond the item you came for.The greeting at the door is spotty and sometimes I feel its a bit contrived like they have to do it and theres not a deep sense of appreciation for the customers as they come in. As well the moniker for Ace Hardware is your friendly Hardware man or woman and I just dont see the smiles and appreciation for customers in that regard. So I dont think I would call them the disgruntled shop here on 104th I would just say they have to have more love for the people that buy from them dust turns into carrying this turns into commitment thats turns into profit.Maybe you need to spend a 2 or 3 days at the Fort Lupton Ace Hardware to see what a good culture looks like. Every store has its ups and downs but they sure seem to get customer service done well and even the Young Folks are come right up to you look you and your I shake your hand and say were glad youre here what can I do to help you and they make sure that youre fully helped all the way back to the cashier station and I actually look forward to going into that store. This one still has some work to do. Remember guys, the customer genuinely does pay your salary. Im not looking for people to kiss my feet that would be weird and creepy, I am looking to see you guys raise your game. Remember, they dont have to come to your store they choose to do so and your attitude will take a long way towards them choosing you versus somebody else. Good luck with that

Great place when u just need a couple little things

I went in today to buy some water softener salt. I thought Id be getting a good deal since I had one of the buy $30 or more of merchandise and receive $5 off that they send to my mailbox every month.Upon checking out I learned that because the item was a dollar off when buying two or more they would not honor the coupon.After purchasing the items a quick google search to the nearby Home Depot revealed that they sold it $2 cheaper per bag.When contacting the floor manager of Ace and asking if they price matched he answered not usually. Upon asking for clarification on what items they price matched he said it depends and would not clarify. Then he said Im just gonna say that we dont price matchUltimately, I returned the water softener salt and headed to Home Depot for a better deal.I will not be returning to ACE in the future and will happily be taking my business elsewhere. Thanks for making my dcision easy floor manager!

Came into Ace hardware to buy two safety helmets. Customer service great until a mistake was done. The inventory for helmets is not well organized so different quality of helmets were mixed up. They are not easily distinguishable since the packaging is identical. So I realize my two helmets are different once I already made the purchase and left the store. I go back in the store because I like one helmet better and would like another. So Ace hardware ends up wanting to take my purchases back because they made a mistake in pricing. The price difference was insane so of course I would not be happy. I wanted to leave with my products. I had already made the purchase and they wanted a take back? So an argument escalated with Michele, the cashier. To Michele, you are a very nice person and there is no doubt, but in the end a mistake was done on your end. You represent the company. I do appoligize for any hard feeling you had. All in all, the manager, Adrian, was very profesional and calm. He resolved the situation and I was able to leave Ace Hardware happy. I was so amazed by his customer service that I had the wanting to shake his hand and I did.

Ace website and Google both say they close at 6pm on sunday. Show up at 5:05, already closed. Wow, great management! Went to Home Depot and gave them my business. I will drive extra to go to Home Depot. Cant wait they build one closer and run you guys out of business.

Customer service is awesome, almost always have what Im in need of (unless its specialty),and have never had problems with their hours? Some people need to read the hours posted on their door I guess. Winter hours are:Sun- 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.Mon-Fri- 8:00 a.m.- 7:00 p.m.Sat- 8:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.Should change back soon.

This place is terrible. Employees are not helpfull or knowledgeable at all. The hours are the worst though. Unless youre unemployed and can make during banker hours the store is always closed.The extra 12 minute drive to homedepot is worth it!
