I was working on my motorcycle over here at short north storage whenever my radiator cap malfunctioned and shut off my motorcycle and spilled boiling hot cool and all over my eyes and Christine was out in the parking lot and guided me in to the restroom and help me wash my eyes out and gave me some water and probably save my vision, I am posting this review under my wife’s name because I’m stupid and left my phone at home. We had a great experience with our rental from Short North Storage! This was the 1st time we had a need for a storage unit (for our son’s use between leases at college) so weren’t sure what to expect. Tim explained the process in detail and could not have been nicer to work with. The facility was very clean and had lots of carts to use to move in/out. We would definitely rent again with them!

Just rented a unit today and working with the SNS manager, Tim, was such an easy and enjoyable process!! I wasn’t pressured to rent a unit, and he was very thorough when providing information and tips to help me find the perfect sized unit for my needs. The checkout experience was fast and easy, the entire process took less than 20min. The units and office are clean and I was even offered refreshments while I was there!! Honestly a 10 star experience and I would highly recommend Short North Storage to anyone looking for storage in the Columbus area and beyond.

I needed to store my things at SNS as I was in between leases for a couple of months. I must say that from start to finish, I had nothing but a smooth experience. I initially got a first floor unit, but it wasnt climate controlled. My anxieties about my mattress kicked in and Tim helped me get a 3rd floor climate controlled unit which turned out to be cheaper than my initial unit. Great success!

What can one say about self-storage? Its all about the location, the facility and the service. The location either works for you or it doesnt. As for the facility, it is fairly new and in excellent shape. But the most impressive is Tim, the manager. Tim is great and has always been exceptionally helpful.

Short North Storage has been the best storage facility that I have used. It’s super clean and everyone has been really nice whenever I have talked with them. I have a car that I have been storing for many years and I’m very particular about where the car is stored. I go to start the car and did not lock the unit correctly and they notified me of my mistake. Just them notifying was going above and beyond to me and I immediately went and relooked my unit. Any other storage place does not do notify you because they do not check each unit.Another time I was late on a payment and the notified me which I was glad they did which I immediately paid. I’m never late on things but appreciated being contacted. I recently changed to automatic withdraw which I probably should of done from the beginning.This is a great place to store I have always thought all of the storage places are high but I’m pretty happy where I am now. I wish they would lower your bill the longer you are there which I plan to be. If your looking for a good place to store this is the one, thanks!

The process of moving into the storage unit was seamless. Tim had all of the additional items we purchased waiting in the storage unit for us and getting everything set up was quick and easy. There are lots of new and well kept carts available to help move things into the units and freight elevators that took the hard work out of the process. Everything is very clean and upkept.

The staff is careful, considerate, and very helpful. The facility is extremely clean, airy, and well-lit. The hallways are carpeted and I fell very comfortable being there. Couldnt find a better storage unit.

Tim is wonderful to work with. I called 5 storage places for my daughter who had to move home from OSU on short notice. He was the only one who would work with us on a special issue for storage of her car. His assistant took care of everything and offered to help my daughter if she needed care packages or a ride to the airport. Very caring and great people. Storage facility is clean, safe, and secure in a very nice area.

What a phenomenal class act storage facility!! SNS is a great local storage facility. I stored a car in a 10x20 drive-up there for 7 months. Tim was very friendly and made signing up and moving out a breeze. The area was clean and well secured. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to store in the Short North.

So far our experience with SNS has been fantastic. From the get-go Tim was the best. The customer service has been amazing, we even had a bottle of water waiting on us when we showed up on our moving day. That was a kind gesture that was needed after an exhausting morning that involved a 5 hour drive and then a move into a 5th floor apartment. The large elevator and carts that are available are a godsend. The facility is new, clean and very well kept.

Great location, busy but not too busy, friendly staff, genuinely want the best for you, transparent, easy and secure process, comfortable, welcoming, clean, organized, trustworthy. Tim was great and their customer service here is outstanding. They even mentioned having a referral program! Wouldn’t want to store my things anywhere else! Even while Tim was training the nice lady at the desk, they both were swiftly working through all of the contract with me and very informative. Thank you both for everything!!

Stay away from this place! I chose to pick one of their units for $126 per month plus tax and insurance not even 4 months later I get a letter saying its going from $126 to $165 plus all the additional charges of course then I went ahead and called them, spoke to Tim FACILITY MANAGER and all I got was rude and an I dont care attitude Im super disappointed on his customer service skills. Luckily for me, I will not need their storage unit soon.

Tim who runs the place currently is very friendly and accommodating...even when I don’t put in my code right! I appreciate the good service and laid back atmosphere. They are building more units currently so if you don’t have storage yet and you live in the area I would suggest getting in before they are all gone again.

The old manager, Sheila was super helpful when we started renting the unit back in November. The current manager, Tim, has helped and accommodated all our needs when it comes to switching units and has made the transition flawlessly. The location is amazing, as Im sure it will be for a lot of people in the area, close to work and where I live, and for the service and price (Ive done my research prior to renting), this is unbeatable! I couldnt have asked for a better experience storing at Short North Storage! When I needed a short term contact when I needed to leave my apartment, Tim at SNS was so helpful getting me set up with a unit. When I was moving my things into the unit on a hot day in August, he brought out waters to me and my boyfriend. It is incredibly clean and secure. I felt safe going there at night if needed. They have flat bed dollies for you to use too, which definitely come in handy. I will be coming back if I need another storage unit.

Worse facility ever! They cant get their stuff together. They are NEVER there when i came . So dirty and cant get to them easily. They keep adding charges and expect you to pay with no questions. That boy or whatever he is in there is so rude and unprofessional. The corporate office never cares about you and just wants your money not friendly at all!!! They need to get someone who cares about the customers and the site. Go elsewhere and save a headache i promise you will regret using this place to store you things.

Called to ask a few questions about this place but had the most rude woman on the phone. Needless to say, I DO NOT recommend this location and will be taking my business elsewhere.
