The staff that came to help was kind but late. The management would only communicate through text. Made coordination difficult. One of our items got broken and we were told to let them know through text but they never responded back regarding it as well.Edit 1: As a response you were in communication mostly with my wife. This review is correct and our damaged items have not been acknowledged.Edit 2: Following the first edit my wife received a response and we were told our items were less then 10 dollars so we would not be refunded and because it was a lamp and not packed we would not be receiving a refund. Again management not the best. The staff who did come to help was great. Oh also forgot they didnt bring the truck that we payed for. They brought a 20 foot truck instead of 26 foot truck. They did stay over to make sure our move was finished so we appreciate that even though it took much long since the truck needed organized to fit all our items.

I was in a very tight bind when I had a 660 pound safe delivered to my property that I thought was being installed at delivery. They were able to come to my house and get in into my home the very same day! The price was very reasonable and they were able to do all of this without causing any damage to my home. This company is RESPONSIVE, FRIENDLY, TRUE to their WORD, extremely easy to book their time, everything. This company effectively saved me after another moving company essentially went MIA on me. I hired this business to help with a move. In the process of moving my stuff, they put a hole in my couch, which I was compensated for with half the price of the couch. The day after the move, I set my tv stand up (it had been laying on its side where the movers placed it) and noticed that the whole side was scraped up and had pieces of glass lodged in it. I reached out to the company several times, but was given excuse after excuse. I then contacted the BBB and still got no response. This company is extremely unprofessional and doesn’t deserve your business. Take your money elsewhere.

They never showed up. I booked my appointment (2 hours of moving help) a week in advance. I received an automated email from the company a day before my move to confirm. Everything seemed normal. I called them a couple times the day before to confirm again, but the phone went to voicemail and I was unable to leave a message as their voice mailbox was full. I also sent a text message a couple days before my move to confirm the price and payment methods. They never responded. The only communication I received was a text and an email at 10pm the night before my move telling me that they have been trying to get ahold of me but couldnt (they said they had the wrong number). I thought that was odd, as I had been texting them and was very responsive to my email. They went on to ask questions about my move so I thought we were still on for the next day. However, the morning of my move no one ever showed up. And when I texted them (as this seemed to be their primary way of communication) all they said was that they were checking on it. That was the last I heard from them.I am so grateful that my husband and father were able to help me move and do most of the heavy lifting. If it werent my family pulling through then the whole move would have been delayed/canceled, and we would have wasted all of the money and resources that we already reserved for this move.Very unexpected and disappointing.

I had a killer experience with Moving Help. I had a ton of stuff and they booked it as fast and responsibly as possible to get my stuff moved within my time frame. Half the price of all the other places I quoted. They start the time once they get situated and parked, and stop once the last item is dropped. All of my stuff was good. I just moved my TV and loose items. They were funny and great at communicating. Text friendly. My first time using movers and I was beyond happy. I highly recommend!

I booked this company to help me move from my second floor apartment to my house. I decided that I would try to save some money by moving all of the boxes and small items myself and then have them move the large, heavy items. When they showed up, one of the movers got out and instantly told me that I had booked a larger truck than what I needed and the other looked to be about 15 years old even though the owner told me that he was 18. The other issue that I had was that the younger mover didnt have a mask with him. When we then went upstairs, we talked through what needed to be moved and I was told that everything was ok. I had also sent them a list of items to be moved. They then got started and moved the first piece of furniture down with no issue. I was then talking to the older mover and he said that he didnt think that my hand made entertainment center would fit in the truck and he asked if they could stand it up on its side and I was very adamant that it could NOT be put on its side. They then said that they will figure it out. Next, they asked if they could borrow a dolly that I had in the garage and I said sure because I figured that it would be for the dressers and things like that. Once I got back upstairs, they had the entertainment center that I told them could not go on its side, sitting on its side attempting to put it on the dolly. I told them no, put it back down, they did and I told them to go home. They were at my place for 20 minutes and moved one item. They then began to argue with me that it is too heavy to move down the stairs and did not accept that my neighbor and I carried it up on our own. When I finally got them to leave, I got a call from their boss trying to charge me $150 for the 20 minutes that they were there and when I told him I would pay $50 for the short amount of time, he made it seem as though it was my fault that the piece was not moved including saying if I were in your position, I would have helped them move it. This is unacceptable to me because why would I hire movers if I have to help them move the small amount of things that I hired them to move. Long story short, this company is unprofessional, unqualified, irresponsible, and most importantly, they do not care about your possessions.

Im confused by all these positive reviews. My move was scheduled from 12pm-2pm. I called at 12:30, 1:30 and at 2pm. I got a bunch of excuses including bad weather (no rain, no snow but it was February). Finally they show up at 2:30. They come in and go back outside to the truck. then some woman comes over and brings them sandwiches. They eat in the front yard and then come in with a little 5 year old. Maybe 20 minutes after they first arrive they start moving the stuff to the truck. I end up babysitting the little boy while they work. My story with this company only continues at the other end of the move, but it ends with the mover telling me that they dont take credit cards. No one tells me this before and I dont get any kind of discount for the ridiculousness of this situation.If someone would have called me telling me the move was going to be this late, I could have made arrangements to get some other stuff done. It was horrible customer service and I will never use them again.

I was planning a move on 6-26-2020. I was moving from one apartment to another within the same apartment community. I scheduled a time online for labor only, 2 men for 2 hours to arrive on 6-26-2020 at 2:00 p.m. and I reserved a UHaul to be picked up by myself at 1:00 p.m. on 6/26/2020 so that everything would be ready when they arrived at 2. I scheduled this appointment on 6-10-2020. I also noticed on their website that if your location was more than 10 miles from their office, there would be an additional charge. I sent an email request asking what it would cost for the move. I received a text from Bruce that same evening asking for more details, so I provided a list of items that would need to be moved. He texted back with a price that I agreed to and thought I was confirmed for the 26th as scheduled. I texted him on 6/24/2020 to confirm that we were still on for the 26th. I got no response. I then received an email on 6/25 saying I was confirmed for 3 men for 2 hours, so I texted him and advised I wanted 2 men for 2 hours. He texted back and said he would look in a few minutes, but I again never heard back after that. On June 26th at 11:45 a.m. I received a text asking if I still needed them as they were running behind. I said yes, and how far behind were they running? He said they would be 2 hours late. I understand things happen, so I told him that I had the UHaul until 7 and if they arrived at 4 that should be fine. He then texts me back at 1:30 stating that he is now looking at my list and it will take a 26 foot truck and that the job would take more than 2 hours. Mind you he had received the list on 6/10/2020 (more than 2 weeks prior to my move) and had already quoted a price that we had agreed on. He said that he was concerned that the price would be higher because it would take longer. (I had other people, my son and a friend to help as well which is why I hired for labor only and not an entire move.) I texted him back at 2:21 and told him to just forget about it. In that hour and 20 minutes, my son, my friend and myself had already loaded the bulk of everything and would be done by 4:00 p.m. when he was now scheduled to arrive. I went ahead and kept moving since I wasnt even sure he would show up. He then texted me at 4:09 p.m. and said o.k. headin home. His attitude with me from the very beginning was a bit rude, but I had read all of these good reviews, which I am now convinced were posted by either him, his friends or his employees as I didnt receive near the 5 star service they claim that they did. I would have given them zero stars if I could have. You should just pay a little more and hire a different company if you truly want movers who will show up and do the job they are scheduled to do.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!! Moving appointment was scheduled for 10am. The day before the move I contacted to confirm. The guy said they had an hour window (never mentioned before). At 10:45am I call to get an update. He said his crew was in Sunbury OH and I live in Hilliard OH. It’s now 12:15pm and they still aren’t there and there’s no communication. I text message the movers, no response. I call and I receive a text message to text them. So I text them again, no response. I call again and get another message to text them. They claim a truck broke down and yet couldn’t call me with any updates or get another truck out. Another hour passes and no communication. They never came. I had to move myself. Horrible communication. Horrible customer service. Horrible moving company. GO WITH A DIFFERENT MOVING COMPANY!!!

There was not a single ding in the wall prior to your arrival. I took pictures. The bed was moved in by relocation professionals with zero problems. Odor complaints on me? Haha nice try. You should probably know the definition of those.Original post: If I could give negative stars I would. This was a horrible experience. The guys were over an hour late and communication was non existent until on their way. I got an abrupt text from the owner saying they were headed my way and asking if I was ready? As soon as they got off the truck you could smell the weed - they reeked! About halfway through loading they started arguing with each other...name calling, non stop bickering. It was extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable. This escalated when they destroyed three walls moving a mattress. It should be noted that the mattress was moved in with not a single issue or wall ding. I asked the guys to please stop arguing with each other and be professional and one rudely said Im grown, we can say whatever we want... and that I had to be complaining because everyone wants something for free. At this point I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone. I tried calling the owner who refused the call at first and asked me to text. Eventually I got him on the phone and he laughed saying he couldnt believe it and these were 5-star guys. I was told hed send a crew to fix the wall. That alone was another huge pain to get done after he said hed take responsibility and I was never followed up with. I assume its done. Who knows?At delivery the guys attempted to smooth things over and act like grownups. However, nothing was wrapped or protected and everything was covered in their sweat. I had to let my couch cushions dry before putting them on. Absolutely disgusting!!! The cardboard backing on a shelf system was ruined it was so wet. They also folded the mattress so they didnt have another episode like loading and when I said that wasnt good for that type of mattress the guys blew it off saying they did it all the time and it would come back. That mattress had to be replaced because they broke the support in it. It did not pop back out. Again, it should be noted that it was removed easily by professionals and didnt need to be folded.Overall, in 25 years of hiring professionals and friends to move this was by far the worst experience with the most unprofessional crew Ive ever dealt with. They lied to their boss trying to save face. They destroyed walls and furniture. Then stood waiting for a tip. Ha! I still cant believe it and suspect there will be some nonsense response to this like the other unprofessional commentary I experienced.

Showed up more than 3 hours late. If your move is time sensitive Id really think about looking for help elsewhere.
