♥️ I am very happy that I chose the downtown CubeSmart location to store my household items. I met a really fantastic lady named Frankie, who not only has excellent customer service but she is also very warm and friendly. She made my experience very memorable.

Fantastic experience signing up to rent a storage unit. Also a fantastic experience moving out. Frankie in the office was extremely helpful and kind.

I have a lot of experience with storage places and I have never had such a terrific experience. The 2 woman who run the place are fantastic. So helpful. The space is clean, well-run, safe, and affordable. Both moving in and moving out were startlingly easy. Highly recimmended!

Dirty. Hot on 3rd floor where we were. Lighting burned out. Electric outlet to power a light was 30 feet away from storage unit. Elevator is super slow.Good location to downtown and EXCELLENT, HELPFUL STAFF

Close to home. The good stuff stops there. The elevator has been out for months. There’s an old, scary freight lift that is not suitable as your primary option. Rates also hiked and I will plan to leave this place ASAP.

Ive been at this location for 3 months now and must say that it certainly has many advantages of being in the downtown area. It is very close to home and is within walkable distance walk. Manager Steve has been very accommodating and helpful with the transition and moving of my belongings. Hes always reachable and very communicative. The facility appears to be very well-kept and updated even though its a relatively older building. The only downside of this facility is that it does have limited gate hours and it does not have access anywhere but one side of the building. I would highly recommend this facility to other people that I know who are seeking a storage facility in the Columbus and greater columbus area..

During my first inquiry/visit about storage, I was greeted by the delightful Frankie Meyers. She helped me figure out the best option for my needs. She bent over backwards to make me feel important as a customer and got me the space I needed. The building is older (originally built in the early 1900s) but they are continually doing updates. They have convenient parking and dollies to help with loads. Thank you so much--especially Frankie!

The Management team of Frankie and Steve was Awesome. They kind, informative and very helpful in the way that they assisted me. They did this with not only me, but with other customers as well. If I ever have to use one again. I will definitely be sure to give them a call.

Dirty, moldy, disgusting...

Pretty good service. The rep was very helpful and patient. Storage unit downstairs doesnt have lighting in it but is worth the price. The building was clean but basement does smell a bit moldy. So far so good.

The manager, Steve, is great to work with and very friendly - a talker but nonetheless friendly and knows his building/job.

Ive had a cube with this location 7 months now. I originally rented at 10x10 cube thinking that it was going to be difficult for both my boyfriend and myself to combine our homes when I moved into his condo. Fortunately it was not! Ms. Frankie was amazing when I rented my 1st cube and even more amazing when I came in randomly on a Sunday and asked can I downsize to a smaller unit on that day. The transaction was smooth, even if she felt it was not! Ive had storage units with other businesses in the past and this has by far been the best decision that Ive made while choosing where to store items that do not fit into our home.

He staff was very friendly and helpful. I always felt safe there, and the building was always in good shape and clean.

I needed a small unit quickly and was able to reserve it online. When I arrived, I worked with Frankie and she showed me several different options. I ended up getting a unit that fit my needs a bit better than the one I originally reserved. I was able to book the unit and move my stuff shortly after. I would highly recommend them and would use them again without hesitation.

Our experience with our cube smart has been outstanding! The facility is always clean and maintained with available carts any time they are needed. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. If any problems arise that would affect us the manager has contacted us personally to ensure that we were not inconvenienced in any way. Over the years the facility has changed ownership many times and we are pleased to say that this has been the best manager and company that we have dealt with hands down!!! Thank you for all you do.

Not at all secure. I had a bike stolen. Its hot as hell when ever the weather is nice. Rates are reasonable at the start but climb higher the longer you stay.

I recently encountered a billing problem with a space I rented at the CubeSmart located at 57 E Chestnut St, in Columbus. Fortunately I had the pleasure of meeting Steve Bernstecker, a Cubesmart sales representative who was able to get the issue quickly resolved. Worst customer service call center ever. I was $10 short on my bill and they said they dont take any type of partial payment. So I let them know what day I was going to be able to pay which was 3 days later and now I have a $20 charge on my account and they cant explain it or remove it. And the online system is not working to give me a break down of my account. Save your time uhaul has better customer service so does budget and public storage and the prices are cheaper.

I love having my own numbers as a part of my access code. Da!

Elevators have not work consistently for years. No discounts or apologies. When approached they simply say that it will be repaired soon. It never is...

Had to use this facility to keep my belongings after my apt had an issue. What started as a really hard situation turned into a relief. Cassandra was exceptionally helpful and was perfectly knowledgeable. She showed me the layout and was very professional! Great business, easy access, secure and reasonably priced RIGHT DOWN TOWN!

Awful Manager. While outside in a smoke break, the Manager (I found this out later) started screaming at me for parking my car in a marked Cube Smart spot (#2) and that the spaces are for paying customers. I ignored her because I thought she was just another crazy homeless. Image her surprised when I went into the door of cubesmart.... I quickly left because there was a sign on the locked inner door that said they would be back in 15 minutes. She humbly approached me and said that she was the manager (poor hiring choice) and asked if I needed anything. I again ignored her and drove off. Why would I want to do business at a location where they hire such an ignorant person? I took my business to a competitor.... I suggest you do too.

Dirty old. Not for me

Had a storage unit for two years here. I was made to pay for a full last month despite being out within 24 hours of said months start. Water damage to some boxes, though I expected as much considering it was an outdoor unit and it was there for quite a while. They apparently store vehicles on the lot but have no designated spots for them so there was barely room for a moving truck by my unit. Also there was a woman clearly living out of a unit a few doors down watching us, which made storing valuables in my car (which had to be parked a ways down given all the vehicle storage) a sketchy experience. Highly recommend another company if only for their policies on pro-rating rent. No one plans their move around a storage units bill cycle.

Ms Thelma Richardson was one of the most pleasant and welcoming person in their work place that I have encountered in a long time.She was helpful and cooperative. Avery clean place with ample parking. Easy accessibility.A most pleasant experience while moving our daughter ot of her apartment.

Convenient for downtown living. Thelma, Cassandra and Wanda have all been extremely helpful in showing us the ropes. We chose this facility because its loading dock is van accessible - exactly what we needed. Plus freight elevator (from another century - takes a little lesson) and dollies for customer use.

Heres the deal, a room is a room.Thats fine.But the constant rate changes are ridiculous.Especially when you factor in all the changes they make without notification.Access hours changed. When moving things in and out and all of a sudden you cant get back in.Also lets talk about the elevator that has been in repair for the better part of a year and no sign of workers at any time.Shotty repairs to the building are also a hilarious endeavor. Just take a look at those concrete steps in the access side of the building for any indication of what the work inside would be.Well be leaving the unit soon.

Indoor storage in a clean, well-lit facility with an easily accessible entrance by garage or door. Staff is attentive and knowledgeable. Very reasonably priced - usually offers discounts.

Cassandra was so helpful in helping me pick the right storage space to meet our needs and in showing me around the facility. I came here in part due to the online reviews mentioning great customer service, and I was not disappointed!

I use the cubesmart location downtown Columbus,Ohio and besides the fact its a great facility the manager is such a nice lady Frankie I believe is her name and I am so impressed with her it seems she genuinely cares about people and I wish more of us had her outlook. As well as her ability to just be pleasant.

Cassandra and Thelma were both very helpful taking time to show me 6 different units over three different visits and explain the good and bad of each. Im not easy to please and these two took the time to make sure I got what I needed and not more. Thanks to you both, Ed

Great experience with Frankie ! She was very considerate and polite enough to stay over and wait for me after they closed on December 23rd just so I could get my storage unit on a short noticed move! She was amazing thanks !!

Great company and great people!My experience with CubeSmart on Chestnut Street was outstanding! As a company, they really did a great job from the very first call. They were quick to answer the phone, understood my needs, connected me with the right people to rent my space and were very professional and efficient. Patsea (the manager) did a great job and I feel so confident that space is secure. She assured me that if there were any issues that she would make sure they were taken care of. Patsea is a Rockstar!

Location and storage is great, but they recently went from 24hour access to closing access at 10pm. Local musicians or anyone who stores equipment here will need to find another location for gear after a show since access is no longer allowed past that hour.

They charge you an entire month if you move out after the billing date of the 9th. We actually began renting there at the end of the month. Bad business practices. Also, began charging more for the unit after 3 months.
