I ordered 14 yards of pulverized topsoil. All I got was 14 yards of large clumps and a clay pot in pieces along with branches of sorts. This project was supposed to take me a week at max, but has now gone on for more than two weeks. Every wheel barrel full of soil needs to be sifted. I had to devise my own way of sifting and instead of being able to just spread the soil in the yard, I must take at least 10 minutes to 15 minutes to fill a wheelbarrow and then Im able to spread it. After the sifting, it is still not what I would consider pulverized.If Im going to use all this soil the way I need to, Im going to need to find a way to crush all the leftover clumps.The only reason Im giving 2 instead of 1 star is because delivery was on time and fast.Also, I want to add that I did call customer service, and they did give me back half my money when I complained. Though, the more I work on this, the more I wish I had gone with someone else or bought it by the bag at Home Depot.

Just had 7 cubic yards of topsoil delivered via the slinger truck and had a great experience. The driver, Dan, was very cordial, efficient, professional, helpful and put the topsoil exactly where we wanted it. Thank you for your excellent and speedy service.

Been ordering from them for years. This time I ordered slinger and my usual limestone 57. Always been on time and never been shortened on among of gravel. First time using slinger since my back went out and didnt want to shovel 7 tons of limestone. He made sure it was even and asked where I wanted it. Good service, easy to get topsoil, and safe, if you are a homeowner hauling your own bulk soil. You will save a lot here vs bags from the store, but you will want to get a pickup full or so to make it worthwhile.

Super soil is super disappointing. I will have to amend dramatically. They just mixed sand and light gravel in with regular top soil. Its light and should drain well but no richness. Slinger truck slung all over the street, sidewalk and yard. Operator did not evenly distribute as directed. Wont use again.

Great service! I ordered 3 tons of stone, and with their delivery price factored in they were still way cheaper than others in town. The driver even called and asked if they could come earlier due to some cancelations. When he arrived he dropped the stone exactly where I wanted. 100% would recommend.

Ordered topsoil, received topsoil! Received a call before the delivery confirming I would be there and if it was a good time. Delivery was awesome to watch with the dirt being slung into my yard, and the delivery guy was super professional. Id recommend this company for anyone looking for dirt. Price was right awesome! I ordered 6 cu yds pulverized topsoil from Jones Topsoil to be delivered via their Slinger Truck. This company is great to work with. I was called and told when they would be here. They came exactly on time. I had ordered pulverized topsoil but their pulverizer was being fixed. Instead of canceling, they sent me a better topsoil. The driver of the Slinger Truck, Steve, was awesome. He took time to explain the different product to me and made sure I was comfortable with using it instead if what I had ordered. He spread the dirt using the slinger and did a great job. Steve made sure I was happy with the result. I am so happy I paid extra for the Slinger as I did not have to shovel and distribute wheelbarrow of dirt! I have used Jones Topsoil before and have been very happy both times. I high recommend them.

Best top soil in the business and a friendly staff

This is the second time I’ve used Jones Top Soil. Once for pea gravel at our old home and now top soil at our home in Marysville. Both times workers were super polite and even did the heavy lifting for us. We are going to be using them again this summer for more dirt to level our very uneven swampy yard.

Amazing experience. First time. I called them, received a quote over the phone, called around to compare (nobody was cheaper), called back, and scheduled for the next morning at 8 AM. This place was great!! I ordered pea gravel online late in the afternoon hoping they would come same day but understood it was kind of late, and they came within 30 min dumped it in my parking spaces and I had it spread in about an hour! Perfect! THANKS YALL!!! No more muddy parking spaces for me!

Slinger truck was great, however the quality of the topsoil was very poor. Received 5 yards of the supersoil for garden beds and there is a large quantity of gravel mixed in the soil. I just received topsoil from another company and there is no comparison in quality. Regretting my decision to choose Jones and would not recommend.

Excellent soil choices. Weve used/liked the soil plus, it makes all the difference. No weeds, good drainage, vigorous growth in flowers, shrubs and trees. Works to build beds or as a light top cover for beds & lawns. Customer service was great from first phone call to fellows who manned the Slinger Jones trucks.

Its rare for a company to get EVERYTHING right, but this was truly a 10/10 experience. Helpful salespeople, prompt delivery, and a friendly delivery guy with good aim. Would highly recommend.

Delivery trucks have a slinger - a huge time saver for the customer. Also great product.

Great price, easy to order online. Was able to schedule for next-day delivery. Driver called before delivery to say when he would arrive. When he arrived, on time, he asked me where I wanted my two cubic yards of dirt, and parked that dirt with surgical precision right where I directed. Couldnt have been happier with the experience. Had a great experience with Jones Topsoil. I made an order for gravel on their website on a Thursday for a Friday delivery. I called Friday morning to verify order and delivery schedule and they told me I scheduled it for a Saturday delivery. They were real friendly and rescheduled to deliver that Friday afternoon. The delivery driver called me before he left their facility and called again to verify he had the right house (street numbers arent in the best condition). Great prices, great customer service and nice gravel, definitely calling them again for another load for my barn.

Ive ordered from these folks twice now and both times have been a great experience from customer service to the delivery. Very helpful to have the calculations online to know how much you need before ordering...and its correct! Will order from them again as delivery is prompt and speedy.

Today, Saturday, at approximately 1:40 pm, a near accident occurred in front of me on I-670 W at Neil Ave. A Jones Topsoil truck got precariously close to my rear bumper as I slowed some. He continued to tailgate me on to I-71 S until finally passing me on the right between Greenlawn and Frank. He must have been doing at least 70mph in a 55 construction zone. I realize time is money and I respect truck drivers very much on the road, but there is no place for unsafe driving by large trucks in city traffic!!

They have shredded, non shredded, and they also have super soil.

Totally awesome! I have never seen the slinger truck work but today was just wonderful. They put the dirt exactly where I needed it now I dont have to move it by hand. The driver was very knowledgeable, courteous and did a fantastic job! He was on-time, called before and very, very helpful. I will definitely use Jones Topsoil again! A perfect start to my day -- the process was fun to watch (but I love digging in dirt!) Thank you Jones Topsoil! Two different loads. Two different drivers. I ordered one and needed another 2 weeks later. Both came on time, despite a last minute time change request by me. Both were courteous, fast, and placed it in a very precise spot I asked for!

Omg these guys are awesome! We ordered 6 tons and their slinger truck (get the slinger truck - it’s worth the extra money). They slung the gravel across our drive so we didn’t even have to shovel it. We didn’t have to do anything - just pointed to where we wanted it. SLINGER TRUCK! So happy, we will definitely recommend and use again when needed.

Jones delivered 12 tons of gravel in slinger truck to top my driveway. They were able to maneuver down the tight driveway and top coat the whole thing in about 20-minutes. Price was reasonable, saved me from a whole day of spreading out gravel.

Jones Top Soil ReviewI had placed an order for a 30’ x 34’ and 5’ x 14’ so 1090 Square foot of #57 Lime Stone with Jones. I informed them I was concerned about the weight of the truck that would be delivering it due to the fact they had to drive up my asphalt driveway to dump the stone. I was informed on the initial quote it would be 8 tons and they could deliver it in a single axel truck and it would be $270.The driver called ahead and showed up right on time but in a 33k lb dump truck. I asked the driver about the single axel truck and he informed me this is what he was sent out with and he would contact the office. The driver was nice and polite but when he returned the office informed him they couldn’t fit 8 tons in a single axel truck. I then called the office and spoke with Jack Fink. He informed me that the dump truck would probably weigh less per axel than the single axel truck with 8 tons of gravel. He also followed up with a waiver would have to be signed clearing them of any damage caused to the asphalt by their truck. I then inquired what would be the weight per tire then since they should know the weights of his truck. His reply “That math makes my head hurt just thinking about it.”His next reply was, “Are you sure you need 8 tons”. I informed him that his people calculated it for me at 2 inches deep with the previous mentioned measurements. He then replied with, that should be 9 tons. I replied with how about a single axel makes two trips and was informed that would be more. The amount for a second delivery would be a total of $390. With that reply, I posed the weight per axel question again to consider the weight distribution. This time Jack replied the dump truck is probably heavier than the single axel.I asked about the contract we made over the phone and mentioned how they already took my credit card information and all. His reply was, we don’t have any business because they haven’t processed my card yet. In short I sent the driver home and wrote this review so people are aware of the business practices of Jones Top Soil and how Jack Fink will attempt to mislead you in shady business practices.

Had our driveway done, thank you Jones Topsoil, delivered the gravel!!!
