Mostly American tools with good prices
These guys are CROOKS! Called them to price a Grey Penumatic socket and they were literally DOUBLE what Ohio Power Tool wanted for the socket or what I could buy it on the internet for. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE UNLESS YOU LIKE GETTING ROBBED! WISH I COULD LEAVE 0 STARS!!!
I had the best experience today In my 50 plus years of being in business I have neverReceived the positive experience in having a tool repaired. Today while using my MilwaukeeSaw all that I’ve have since the 80’s. I noticed a loss of power and determined the brushesNeeded to be replaced. Upon checking on the internet I found Spartan Tools carriedMilwaukee tools. I called and talked with this gentleman and he looked up the partNumber. They had I stock. Drove out to the place and the fellow in service replacedThe brushes at I cost to me. Went to pay for the brushes and there was no chargeThis site does not have enough stars to give it credit for. My thanks to the owner forThe service I received. I would recommend this establishment to anyone. If I was notRetired from the building business I would purchase all my tools from SpartanThank you to the owner for hiring class people
We used to use these guys a lot for tool purchases quite often for our company and our sister company but we will not anymore. We are in the security locmsith business and our integrity is paramount for our trade. This being said this is our story.Purchased a walk behind saw from them for jobs. Saw was good for a long time so no complaints here. Saw quit working so I took it out of its cradle to have one of our guys drop it off to have it looked at and since it was purchased at Spartan this is where we took it.Sat at their location for 3 months before they finally looked at it so we bought another one from Ohio Power in the mean time. Was finally contacted and told that the saw needed a new motor for $900. Decided to get a 2nd opinion from someone else who was also a dealer for the saw manufacturer. Picked up saw from Spartan and took it straight to other dealer. The other dealer also had it for a few months but it was fine at this point this was going to be spare unit. Was told by the other dealer that the saw was missing parts a coil and wiring harness. Contacted Spartan to ask why the parts were not returned with it and was told that it came in taken apart. Now I am the owner and I bought it I took it out of the cradle and handed to my employee to drop off. It was not taken apart when we dropped it off and it was not apart when we picked it up to take it to the other dealer. Being a lockmith safe technician I cannot stand being called a liar by someone obviously. But this is exactly what happened I was told it was dropped off this way and the motor was blown. Well Spartan the motor was not blown the sprocket bearing was bad and other dealer said it should run once the parts were put back on. You could not pull the start cord because the sprocket was locked up due to the bearing. The motor was fine go imagine.
Nice place and employees, just word of advice : do not drop your tools off for repair unless you want to wait 3-4 weeks. I could have sent my drill into Milwaukee and had it back within 7-10 days, but these guys kept it for almost 2 weeks before I called for an eta and they said they forgot to order the part and it would take another couple weeks at least. Simple mistake sure, but when you need your drill for work and youre told it would only be a couple days, you cant help but be a little frustrated
Very helpful and knowledgeable really appreciate their customer service and assistance in purchasing the right tool for the job
My husband purchased polishing pads and a backer from Spartan Tool Company today. He wasnt acknowledged when entering and after 10 minutes of waiting, he was forced to asked for assistance. In addition to the company having poor service, the products are overpriced. One 50 wet polishing pad cost him $15 at Spartan. We normally buy 3 for the same price on Amazon (and we all know the prices on Amazon are already inflated). We were in a rush and needed supplies quick. But if you have time, I suggest you shop around.
Excellent service from all staff, they are good ole boys who take pride in the craftsmanship of business and quality of work... prices are fair and brands are top notch i recommend these guys to all who take that same kind of pride in what they do... John Kirkbride of Freeland Contracting
Shop around they were a $100.00 higher than anyone around on a drill set i was lookingat and they insisted that their kit was better than the competitors and it was the exact same one.and told me I couldnt buy it for what I told them it was other places.went the next day to their competitor and saved a 100.00.ill never go into their store again.
